An exchange that its domain was created two weeks ago


Although the site is not yet working. Or probably it has been taken down. If possibly that the site is working, I will advice people not to use it.

This is how scammers like to elicit their work.

Domains age has nothing to do with an exchanges reputation, you can buy old domains for as low as a dollar, doesn't make them reputable.

Op would making sure that the site is working fine before coming to inform the general public to visit the site and use the service. I also checked the website and it is not working I can't also say more on it. And one thing I will say is that, if the exchange is converting cryptocurrencies to fiat instantly without using a vendor then it is a good thing to do but the price might not allow people to us  the service because nobody like to spend much. And also of the tag price is not encouraging too people will use it like that.

In exchange KYC is not the real problem but the tag price attract more people to your. service. People are using Binance platform because the tag price is very good compare to others.

You are wrong. Old domain are called premium domain and are offered by domain investors and they are costly unlike a domain that you created yourself.

Although, a new domain can be legit but scammers often use it because they do not have extra money to waste on old domain. But legit site can begin with new domain but convince people with advertisements. If they have huge money to pay for advertisement, that is convincing enough that it is not likely a scam site.

So what is Vikbit.com offering to prove that they are not scam?

The site is working now and I saw good reviews on the site on the day it was not working. I do not know how people were still able to review, why not able to use the site. I do not believe in the site until we are convinced.

A site with cheap domain and not ready for advertisement is likely a scam. I will advice people to avoid it until we are convinced.

You are right @charles-Tim people often manipulate review to buy the general public interest towards their site, I can still remember that people do buy review i mean they paid for reviews and after which people can start using the site with hope they already gain good review without knowing it was all cooked reviews.
Like from what I observed over here if this exchange were so mean and legits at first they could have purchased a copper member to have a good design of their brands although this doesn't counts as originality but it shows as a sign of seriousness to proof being ready on what they are about embark on. What I don't do most is to solely rely on people's review from any site since that could be maneuvered and misleading.

If you want to be trusted I suggest start a sig campaign here where the payments should be escrowed by trusted members here in the forum.
And hire trusted people to review your service that will help people to trust your service.

The same account made a similar "review" in the Russian ANN and logged out. They think they can easily fool us  ;D

I am seeing quite a number of "partners" but no link or proof showing there is a partnership. The most notable one Is Bestchange. I searched on their monitor and this exchange isn't listed anywhere, just like it might not be listed in monitors like xrates too.
They might be using the logo or banners to just fool users that they are legit.

If you're the OP himself/herself or if you're a staff of this exchange, please know that ranks matter here, at least as far as feedbacks are concerned. If you're a newbie whose first post is to praise a newly-launched, unknown, and unfinished exchange, your feedback doesn't count. Not only that it doesn't help your exchange, it can in fact destroy what little reputation you have or your prospect of earning it.

Anyway, present your platform properly. Or better yet, finish it first before offering it to the market.

I looked it up on scamadvisor (https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/vikbit.com) and it was scored below average--22/100. Other vital suspicious signs—Op paid the registrar (reg Ru) to hide site owner's information, when searched on whois (https://who.is/whois/vikbit.com), and reg Ru is known to have a high% of spam and scam sites; according to scamadviser.

I do not care about your reasons, Op, for hiding your personal data on whois, but it's a redflag for a newly launched exchange service to have no transparency; no name, no postal code, no country... It's a lot of reason for people not to trust you and the service, added to the 8months old domain name.

Scam advisor evaluation is quite automated and outdated. Most of the parameters are not relevant at all, so I would not base much on the results from there. WHOIS privacy is now free on almost all registries and its activation does not say much about a potential scam. In the same way, the owner could leave fake data and thus improve the score.

Could you please recommend a reliable scam review site? I depend mainly on the reviews from scam advisor, because it's been serving this purpose for about a decade or so. Truly, things look dry over there, unlike when users sent their reviews and it was used in evaluating suspicious sites.

A famous site will still get such reviews (comments) from people, but for fresh sites like the one we have here, It's always dry looking it up on scam review sites. I also tried it on IPQS and didn't find much details. However, no doubts, hiding personal data is now normalized in domain business, but having those details (not faked) helps transparency and trust.

I don't think there is a site that will reliably claim whether something is a scam or not, plus, every review site can be manipulated. Just look at the Trustpilot example, which is full of fake feedback and they have completely lost quality control.
It is best that you do the analysis yourself and that on several sides. For example, comments like by @vamloc and @fikicod on this topic, indicate that it is fake feedback and that is enough of a signal not to use such a service.

What's so hard about pumping the topic every +48 hours or once a week, creating newbie accounts to give fake reviews is a very negative signal, if you keep creating such responses you will get negative trust from me, a good project will not start by trying to scam others.

We can easily see that op is attempting to persuade us that the service is good by creating as many as he can brand-new accounts to post fake reviews. The majority of active forum members are persuaded that this is not the case because no legitimate service would use fake reviews if they had genuine clients. The reviews about the service would come from satisfied customers, who are unlikely to be aware of this ANN in the btt forum.

Most of them migrate to telegram where they can use this classic technic of creating fake reviews using multiple accounts. Forum is the best tool for service rating because it records history of each account since day zero so it's not possible to hide old posts even by deleting it, and the trust system which us a great tool to rate accounts activities including brands accounts.
