The crypto currency space is filled with a lot of positive and life changing opportunities, but it also have it's negative sides as well, especially to those who have little knowledge about Crypto currency, lately  there are a lot of fake influencers, fake media whales, scams, fake Airdrops especially on the social media that could lead new crypto beginners to invest their time and money on projects that would do them more harm than good. A lot of people see Crypto currency as an agenda to get rich quick, well there are chances that it's possible, with the right investment and skill, but before you venture into the crypto space currently you must be prepared with a vast knowledge of how to overcome this negative activities, cause it would help one to know the right choice of crypto investment as well as knowing how to detect scam project and fake influencers that could lure you into wrong investments.
People are desperate cause the feel like since everyone is making emphasis on the bull run, the fear of missing out makes them partake into fake airdrop and news.  A lot of people will want to capitalize on this opportunity to spread fake news and propaganda luring poor people to waist their time and resources. Getting the right information is very paramount in the crypto world, the right information will give you the right results.

Earning money from crypto isn't an easy task, as we generally think. You should have enough knowledge to identify fake or real things in the crypto market. You shouldn't be influenced by influencers here. You can follow them for learning and analysis purposes. Don't make any investment decisions when influencers say anything. Cryptocurrency is volatile, and you have to make real-time decisions. Most of the influencers are paid by projects where they wash our brains. So instead, we have to use our own brains during investment, and we also always need to avoid free money offers.

I will tell you that 90% of crypto users who actually fell into scams of new projects were actually lured in by their own greed. Not only cryptocurrency but once you see an offer that seems too juicy and looks too promising then simply back out from it, because no one the internet loves you that much that they will want you to get rich. The cryptocurrency world actually paves way to earn some money either through investing into bitcoin or gamble into other Altcoins or simply trade which is risky too but all this are still made possible only when you have the knowledge. It’s only gullible people or greedy people that scammers get to sell their fake project to.

So many people are just in the lost because of the wrong taught they have when it comes to making money from the crypto space and Bitcoin  in particular. The opportunities are there no doubt but the level of risk involved is also crazy because the same way you can earn that's same way you can lose so actually checking out what you are getting your self involved would with and if you still choose the Bitcoin investment then you will now know that there is no such thing as free money in the crypto space.

Anybody who depends on social media for information about the crypto space will be easily deceived. You have to do your research about the industry from trustworthy platforms like bitcointalk. It will be difficult to be deceived if you study verified materials from this forum. You are also free to seek verification by asking questions. These so-called influencers have little or zero knowledge about the crypto industry so relying on them for Investment advice is dangerous.

People who perceive the crypto sector as a get-rich-quick scheme are the easiest prey or victims of scams. You don't need to have a vast knowledge about the crypto industry before Investing. I usually advise newbies to invest with small amount in Bitcoin and practically learn how to use and protect their wallets as well as how the market works. For you not to be a victim of scams just learn about Bitcoin and invest in it. Most of these altcoin projects are scams.

You don't need to invest in Bitcoin because of FOMO because you might not get a good profit. The best time to invest in Bitcoin is not close to or during the bull run. Many smart investors have DCAing for many years and are just waiting to reach their targeted profit. Seek information from only verifiable sources.

Making a profit through the crypto space is not an easy job like doing real physical work. In crypto, knowledge requires more than just the basics to anticipate fraud.
I feel that this looks like repetition, but actually this is a sentence that is very important in seeking profits in the crypto world which is full of anonymity.

Without having stable knowledge, you can be sure that people will easily deceive us in ways that are as good as possible so that we don't find out.
If we experience fraud in the midst of seeking profit here, where do we want to claim the loss?

Being careful is very important in the crypto space because of the numerous amount of phishing and scam sites around. So it is easy to become a victim of getting hacked or wallet drain, just one click on a phishing site mistakenly can land you in trouble. It may not necessarily be as a result of greed as @EL MOHA  is insinuating.

Scammers are taking advantage of the fact that most crypto users don't bother to pay attention to little details, not security conscious of the links they are interacting with.
Most especially users who engage in both testnet and mainnet activities are mostly falling victim because of interacting with different dapps.

Majority of noobs would really be having this kind of impression on which they would really be that rushing up themselves on gaining up profits in crypto space without even trying out to realize that its never been something so simple and never been something so easy as it looks. Well, on the time that they would really be experiencing for themselves about the harshness or reality of this market then
this is where they would really be able to make those realizations and would really be that be careful on the time that they would be experiencing those
problems on which this is something that you must avoid. This is why it would really be that always best that you should be thinking up sensible and realistically at least.

Profit is profit but you should really be that aware at least on when to basically be securing those profits on the time that you would really be having that kind of opportunity.
This is why it would really be that depending on such situation.

I've also noticed that a majority of folks who've been scammed in crypto initially got drawn in by promises that seemed too good to be true.  When an investment opportunity looks unusually lucrative, it often is.

It's human nature to get tempted by the prospect of easy money.  But in this space, if something appears wildly profitable with little downside, approach with intense skepticism.  Greed clouds judgement.  The safest mindset is assuming shells that shine brightest are often empty on the inside.  Unfortunately, many cry scam only after the fact.

Without the proper information, you will be doomed. In the cryptocurrency space, you must stay up to date on the latest news, as scammers are constantly on the rise and looking for any opportunity to lure people into their traps. Cryptocurrency is not a get-rich-quick scheme, and it never will be, regardless of how much success people claim on social media. FOMO has caused many people to lose more money than they have gained in the space; take your time analysing a project before jumping in. It is better to join late and know that the project has a bright future than to join early and lose all of your money.

I will tell you that 90% of crypto users who actually fell into scams of new projects were actually lured in by their own greed. Not only cryptocurrency but once you see an offer that seems too juicy and looks too promising then simply back out from it, because no one the internet loves you that much that they will want you to get rich. It’s only gullible people or greedy people that scammers get to sell their fake project to.

This is an extremely important point that people who fall victim to such scams frequently overlook. When a project appears too good to be true, it raises a red flag. You cannot achieve success in this space overnight; while luck does shine on people, it is not as simple as you may believe. As a new or experienced investor, falling for such scams is purely motivated by greed. Don't be greedy; instead, take your time and look for projects worth investing in before putting your hard-earned money into them.

I cannot say why people are so drawn towards investing in other cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin, or at least above the top 20 coins... Maybe its a mindset of hoping to be on the next 3000% pump?

For me, Bitcoin is first and foremost a hedge against fiat and government. Bitcoin is how I can feel like my money actually belongs to me and only me. It being an investment that steadily and quickly rises in value is nothing more than a bonus to me.

People who buy crypto in hopes of making profits can make profits, sure. But their fiat profits will become meaningless in the future. The best thing to do is make sure your profits are in Bitcoin.

For most people, when they enter the world of crypto, one thing they think about is how to always get lots of profits. even though we really understand that earning money in crypto is not always easy. It takes a lot of effort to make it happen. because crypto is something that carries a high risk. When it comes to crypto, impatience, inability to control emotions, and greed really matter. jsa rush our efforts and make the situation in crypto itself worse. and ultimately fail if you are not able to handle it well.

I think the problem is that people dive into crypto because they believe it will make them rich. I don’t blame them for having that mindset because that’s the general consensus on social media. Crypto influencers and traders make their living on the internet by selling crypto as a get-rich-quick scheme. Their message reaches hundreds of people every day and more often than not these people do not verify the information that is given to them.

First thing is to differentiate between "crypto" and "Bitcoin", they are different spaces.

The OP's thread title can be answered with the rush of some people to try and ride a
potential $hitcoins meteoric rise and winning a much sought after 1000x reward, this
thinking will never end, to me its like trying to draw the shortest straw from a choice
of like 100, 500 maybe.

The days of "big profits" from Bitcoin in a short space of time is not going to happen
and those attracted to "crypto" rushing for profit wont be looking at Bitcoin.

They are just receiving the package the way it has been packaged for them. There many desperate people that the economy has made that are in need to better their situation and they will jump at any opportunity they see as a quick way to get rich. When you talk to such people about Bitcoin, you have to be very plain and careful to make sure that you are not packaging and giving to them the information about Bitcoin in a way that makes it seem like it is a scheme to get rich quick from. Investing in Bitcoin is a step to wealth and has made people rich but it is not a quick way to get rich.

Of course, seeing crypto is full of fraud and scams, it’s always crucial to gain the right information before entering the crypto space. With that, DYOR is the key. Do not rely on YouTube crypto influencers since majority of them do not also know what they are saying. But make your own extensive research so you will be aware of its risks and be  inform on how to manage it. Otherwise, you will fall on the same trap trying to satisfy your own greed, just like what others have did.

lately  there are a lot of fake influencers, fake media whales, scams, fake Airdrops especially on the social media that could lead new crypto beginners to invest their time and money on projects that would do them more harm than good.

...
These are the reasons why some people could think that Bitcoin is a scam or Ponzi Scheme because many people have fallen into the wrong way of investment as trusted these influencers, and lost their hard-earned money. And even if I talk to my friends they even say it was a scam as they hear a lot of people saying and complaining about it.

I can't blame why scammers continue to grow because many people are still greedy and know-how about crypto. Those who are not aware of their scam trick surely put it into their pocket. Those desperate people will take this opportunity without knowing the outcome of their investment until the time has come when they will notice that they are getting scammed.

Why the surprise? Is it not a normal thing? As far as I know, there is usually too much rush into the crypto market during times like this when the bull market is approaching, and that's also why you see that some people get scammed during this period too. There is usually price hype and different speculations; people hope for a huge profit, and all of that can cause some people to have FOMO, which also contributes to the rush to make profit.

Despite the fact that most people are rushing to buy Bitcoin now, that's also how many people are rushing to buy altcoins, and definitely some people will end up investing in some shitcoins that will not generate any profit for them. The only way to help some people is to teach them the risks of investing in crypto because some of them who fall victim to scams and shitcoins do not have proper knowledge.

That's true and I believe the best and most useful resource for any crypto investor is this forum. Here people get real knowledge and education related to crypto-currencies which they can't get anywhere else. Especially, when someone is going to invest in Bitcoin then this is the only place where they can get accurate and valuable information from the reputed members of the crypto community.

I think it's way better to read some Bitcoin related or crypto related books or e-books rather than watching the videos of the social media influencers. Most of the videos that they make are actually paid ones, scam projects give those social media influencers a lot of money to promote their project. The influencers know all such fake and scam projects but still they promote those because their main aim is to earn money. It's better to avoid those fake people can read some books to learn about crypto-currencies.

Getting the right information is very paramount in the crypto world, the right information will give you the right results.

And where are you going to get this right information? Anyone who knows how to make money will have no to reason to share it with others, because it would just create competition for themselves. This means that most advises are coming from scammers or people who have no idea what they are talking about and just generate content to sell ads and shill.

The people who actually succeed in crypto are those who have enough intelligence to figure out how to make money on their own.

From every thing I read this is my most captivating line, it's carry's a quality than the entire body of the post.

Basically, from survey it's quite normal to see people rush into some thing when it's trending or it's about to hit up for good profit. so I wouldn't be surprised to see people fall in to scams because when you're in a haste you tend not to be careful enough. One thing I know about Bitcoin and it's bull run is that that newbies( beginners in the crypto space) tends to feel anxious while hearing about Bitcoin and it's past performances, which makes them go into shitcoin thinking they will perform as good as Bitcoin because they're starting small as Bitcoin did too whereas they don't know the true difference.

That's why I quoted the above, it's only a good knowledge that can bring people out of this tempting shitcoins and scams just as you said earlier.

People rush to gain profit in crypto because they were influenced by the crypto influencers in the social media and bite their too good to be true offers. Not realizing that everything that is too good to be true falls as scams. Hence, getting the right information is a must. The bitcointalk forum is a perfect outlet for that, as we have some reliable members that can give us valuable advices rather than falling on the traps of this social media influencers.

However, most newbies would likely to gain quick profits from crypto, and I think that’s normal as their motivation is still high seeing a lot are benefiting and enjoying their profits from crypto.

Maybe they are just finding another opportunities in other crypto currencies, honestly I'm a hunter when it comes to finding potential coins that could give potential profit to be, more like I also take advantage of those new coins as long as they still in a good position, lets say I invest in new coins that is legitimate and wait for the perfect timing to sell the assets before it drops, yes its too risky but if I don't explore and find opportunities in other coins then I couldn't earn more, yes earning more is my goal but the thing is some of my earnings will be go to bitcoin investment, doing DCA in order to accumulate some bitcoin and my dream to own a whole worth bitcoin, but I have a long way to that, but as long as I see opportunities in the market I will keep on investing in bitcoin and other coins as long as they could give me profit.
Well according to your statement, you mentioned that you you're a hunter when it comes to finding coins with good potential, which is one attribute of a good hunter in reality, they take their time to study their prey then strike, that's to say that you must have a good knowledge about Crypto currency before you venture into finding coins with good potential, because you said you take your time in investing in legitimate crypto currencies and wait for a perfect timing to make profit from it, now that's very nice.
It shows that you're aware of the dangers of investing wrongly or falling for the wrong scam crypto currency investment, therefore you take your time, minimise risk while in the process of exploring. Now there are people that don't think about the risk involved or even make proper findings about a project, but would jump into it so far they feel they'll make profits, which atimes fails.
There are also people who happen to prey on any airdrop they come across on social media platforms because they feel the projects got a large community and could get them rich quick. Also in as much as investing in bitcoin can be profitable cause of the bull run, there are people that due to wrong info on the media would fall for fake Bitcoin investment sites/platforms and those are the people I'm referring to hence the post.

Yes of course, Bitcoin is full on positive news but an as well have a negative side too.
The negative of Bitcoin is in the hands of the investors or the trader, when one is not well educated or have a lot of misconceptions about Bitcoin, such person will end up losing everything he or she has, in Bitcoin investment education is needed and also, one need to be smart to hand some situations like when Bitcoin is dropping or increasing, some might rush to sell their coins out of fears when Bitcoin is reducing and some might want to also sell their coins when they have gotten a little profits.
Instead of them to hold for dear life and wait for Bitcoin to increase enough so they can make a lot of profits they will just sell. Just like when they buy at the price of $40k and Bitcoin increases to $45k they will want to sell think that they have gain but not knowing that if they hold it longer they will profit more than what they just sold.

The rush to gain profit in cryptocurrency largely stems from human nature, where the desire for quick financial gains is a strong motivator.

Additionally, some individuals are interested in shorting the market, betting on the decline of crypto values for profit. This combination of the innate inclination for rapid success and strategic market maneuvers contributes to the urgency seen in crypto trading.

All these failed investment transactions that's what makes people criticize and condemn cryptocurrency at large. It's not really fair for people to think that way but most importantly,it's the user's of crypto or crypto enthusiast's that get themselves into trouble making people believe crypto is a fraud or scam scheme.

Because the narrative of missing out on potential million dollar crypto is so ingrained into many of us that a lot of people are always continuing to fall for the same stupid trick. It's also the fact that a lot of people that's gotten into crypto are pretty much ignorant or living in illusion that whatever they invest their money into is going to make them a lot of money when that's so far from reality. The reason for the rush would also have to do with scammers trying to force you to decide quickly because they want to not waste time and you taking your time will make you discover that they might be a scammer so they do that rushing thing.

The biggest problems will be for those who want to buy shitcoins, which have high volatility, and now it may seem that on bullrun this will be the best option, but in fact it can turn out to be a big loss of money. If you want to buy shitcoins, then you need to do this with a very small part of your funds, diversification will help you avoid big mistakes. But it’s best not to pay attention to the shitcoins, and find a few coins that have a good foundation and where teams are actively working on development, this will bring more benefits.

There are for sure a lot of things that are happening in the cryptocurrency space and even for experienced investors and trading might make some sort of mistakes for sure in the long run, it wasn't actually negative just to rush gaining some profit in some of your investment, I mean the goal for the most trader is to gain profit and as long as you gain profit on your trade that just means that you dont lose money on that trade. Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin are still a risky investment so putting your money on them is going to be a huge risk since we dont really know if our money is still going to be valuable, at any moment the market price could easily drop even though most of the Bitcoin believers are saying that it is surely going to reach a certain market price its not guarantee.

I've sold some of my holdings because I know that it would take time for Bitcoin to reach a certain market price and the market pump is already good enough to lower the risk of my investment, I also predict that at some point it will make a huge drop like in my experience in the past Bullrun there are always a drop like these that is happening and its possible that the market price is gonna continue to drop down, so for sure the investment money that I have, I could use again to reinvest on it increasing my volume.

In the first place, cryptocurrency and Bitcoin are risky so you shouldn't really start investing without having enough knowledge about it for sure, a lot of scammers are taking advantage of this so make sure that you know what you are doing before even entering an investment, and make sure that you're the one that is doing the work and the research, do not invest on other people to do it for you.

That is true. majority of people that fall to scammers was as a result of greed. We all know when scammers are bringing or supplying Us with fake information to fall victim, but we pay deaf ear to it. Sometimes people will be like.. let me try my luck, if I win or loose does not make any difference. It's better to keep trying and fail than not trying atol. So this thinking is the reason behind why scammers always get people to their web. But if people keep away this mindset, I think it will be difficult for scammers to penetrate people.

However, most newbies would likely to gain quick profits from crypto, and I think that’s normal as their motivation is still high seeing a lot are benefiting and enjoying their profits from crypto.

I guess they were just excited because who would have been not when you see your capital growing with just a little effort that you have done? I was like that before when I tried to invest a huge amount of money and thankfully it grew after a short period because it was in the midst of bull runs way back a few years ago. I thought that was the right way but when I realized I could get even more profit from investing, I practiced more patience and worked on investing for the long term and added a small amount of money every time I got some extra.

Their is nothing to be surprised about how people make wrong decisions and mistakes when the bull market is around the corner because people feel this time of the market when the price of cryptocurrency is going up it is the right time for them to invest. They are very interested in the bull market but not in bearish market to accumulate Bitcoin as much as they can. People just need to be careful how they go about the bull market,  going for altcoins to invest.

The bull market is time for investors to make profit out of their investment, if one is not carefull and rushing to make money so fast,  greed can make the one to end up in a wrong investment.

The op is taking about scams, fake Airdrops and influencers as if it's something new, it seems. But this has been going on for many years now (at least since the original ICO craze of 2017), and I hope that most people in the crypto industry are aware of these risks.
There's no need to rush with investment, and there's no need to invest a lot all at once. There are always more opportunities later during bear markets, even if someone doesn't feel confident enough to invest right now. And there are strategies with DCA for regular small investments, so that it doesn't feel like one big decision and can happen more gradually.
I agree with those pointing out that greed can be a major factor here, and I believe greed is a vice worth getting rid of in general, not just when it comes to crypto investments. While working on reducing greed, one should also cultivate virtues, such as moderation and patience.

In the past, many cryptocurrency investors thought that cryptocurrency was some get-rich-quick scheme, and for that, they invested in with the mindset that they were going to make alot of profits within a short time, not understating how it works with cryptocurrency most especially Bitcoin,  because one can expect short term pump with other coins, but not Bitcoin.

Because with Bitcoin,  there is a need to wait out the time and be able to sustain a good momentum based on the knowledge of how the market works and when to expect something significant from the market,  so Bitcoin is not some get-rich-quick scheme as many take the general crypto market to be sometimes.

If you want to be a trader - do analysis, if you want to be an investor then do research. You need to be one step ahead of the potential scammers that exist in this industry - so don't rely on anyone other than the person you see in the mirror. Be confident - but you must have knowledge so you can produce something of value in the industry. Trading and investing are different - but both allow you to make a profit.

If you are ready to accept profits – then you must also be prepared to accept losses. No one knows what the future will bring - but research and analysis can help you prevent many scam attempts, especially on new things. Don't rush to conclusions about something you've never known before - something easy is usually less immersive.

Everyone wants profit and when there's something to be gained quickly why think slow. At least that's the mindset that happens today but in the end when talking about crypto especially for bitcoin the concept is not like that.
But it cannot be denied that indeed until now the concept of instant wealth is still very much heard everywhere, especially for those who are really new to crypto, even everyone will definitely feel the same way before where the initial assumption that crypto is a quick way to make someone rich is a thought that often occurs.
Even though such a thing is not entirely wrong but it is also not entirely true because everything related to finance definitely requires a process to be able to be at the desired profit stage.

You know that earning money from cryptocurrency is not an easy task because you must learn and pass many obstacles. That is why crypto has many sources of information, so for beginners to avoid scams or lack of knowledge in the industry, someone needs to get to know all these different sources of information. Regardless of how many they are, one should be able to find out some meaningful information about what they want to do, whether holding or trading it will help them.

You are right, influencers are also causing confusion to newbie investors joining the field. They easily get confused, and most of these people join crypto because a particular influencer advises or promotes a particular thing, whether a meme coin or another thing related to crypto, that they will invest money in. Those influencers are not explaining the whole thing; most of them only talk about the positive side of what they are promoting, which is very important to know, and they did not say the negative side.

The most important rule to keep in mind is not to trust crypto influencers too much because that is a very important thing.
Keep in mind that influencers are also looking to make a profit for themselves so they will inevitably create machinations that ultimately benefit themselves. Unfortunately, in this case there are many beginners who are indeed consumed by the words of the influencers who are tricky.
What makes crypto bad in the view of new people is actually not only because they don't learn in detail so they take the wrong steps but the presence of crypto influencers also ultimately becomes one of the people feeling deceived and will consider crypto as one of the structured scams in the end.

And it is the main thing that gets people on crypto, the ability to have quick gains because of its nature for being volatile. But having that reason as well makes them to fall quickly when they're not sure of what they're trying to do.

The most important rule to keep in mind is not to trust crypto influencers too much because that is a very important thing.
If you just go through with some discussions here, you'll see how many folks have been scammed by these crypto influencers. They've been shilled by some projects and told that it's going to give them some profit but they did followed and didn't get the result that they were hopeful for.

TBH, I don't know why investors think of cryptocurrency as "their way to be rich quickly".

Yes, we've seen projects that changed the lives of investors just by investing in that project. We've seen investors who made millions by investing in a meme coin. We've seen investors who are now millionaires just because they are lucky, but that doesn't mean that we all think that it will happen to all of us investors because the truth is, it's hard to know which coins will make you a millionaire. I believe it's all pure luck.

Rushing to gain profits in crypto often leads to losses, and I've seen investors who want to gain profits so quickly that they're resorting to futures trading even though they don't have any experience with it. Ending? They lose all of their initial capital just because of their greediness. Most of these crypto influencers also are misinforming their followers, and instead of giving facts, they're just shilling a project in their YouTube channel. I just saw a proposal on a very famous coin saying that they need to pay a very famous YouTuber so that the project can be shilled. I will not say the project, but it's in the top 20.

Overall, there's nothing wrong with the mindset of getting rich quickly, but at least balance it. Know which projects you are investing, in and which are not. I know that you can earn way quicker in crypto than in other investments, but don't make rational decisions that might lose your money.

Knowing is better than not knowing, if you are able to identify the dangers that awaits crypto investors you should be fine, do the right things and that's by learning always in crypto space, do not forget that scammers are also looking for new ways to scam people, that's why you must keep on learning.

The biggest place where crypto investors turned victim to scam are on social media, twitter on my mind here, that social platform is a living hell for genuine crypto investors, anyone can tag you, even those you trust will take advantage of you if you are not very careful.

I don't trust anything on social media anymore, now I prefer to stay away and use the right places to find answers to what I want, like this forum, coinmarketcap and others, if you want to escape most scam tricks stay away from Telegram and Twitter.

I know we all want to get rich and be financially free but some things are just too good to be true, we all need to start playing smart we all have an idea of how the Bitcoin market works so it should even be difficult to get scammed or even get liquidated. work hard and also work smart because the world is revolting and a lot of things are changing, so you have to be smart while making decisions about everything. and you know a lot of people believe that crypto is easy if the person is holding, but when it comes to trading bro not an easy task at all, anyone that tells you doing crypto is easy then you should stay away from that person because the rise and fall can make you emotional.

Unfortunately, these are the same people who easily become victims of scams. I believe that if someone has a good understanding of cryptocurrency, they are less likely to follow the investment patterns of others blindly. Instead, they would take the time to conduct their own thorough research before putting their money into any project. Those who mimic the influencer's actions are usually beginners who are unwilling to put in the effort to learn and are searching for a simple way to make fast money. It's crucial for everyone to educate themselves before diving into the complex world of cryptocurrency to avoid falling prey to scams and making informed investment decisions.

When someone enters the world of cryptocurrency with the idea of getting rich fast, they set themselves up for potential scams. This happens because they constantly seek projects that promise huge returns, making them vulnerable to deceitful schemes. To genuinely steer clear of scams in the cryptocurrency industry, the first thing one should do is discard the mindset of quick wealth. Cryptocurrency doesn't operate like a magical shortcut to riches; instead, it requires time and patience. While some good projects might bring substantial profits eventually, the key is to stay patient and not expect quick gains. For instance, investing in a solid coin like Bitcoin may yield significant profits over time with steady patience and understanding.

Nothing is more powerful than greed to mislead people. Greedy people lose out on opportunities for future gains, and this is especially detrimental to beginners. I have observed that many of the people who complain about cryptocurrencies are novices, who mistakenly believe that investing in cryptocurrency is a way to make money quickly. As a result, many of them fall victim to scams or purchase coins in which they have no idea how it will all work out. While there are risks associated with cryptocurrencies, if you understand them, you won't fall victim to scams or think of them as such.

Newcomers in any field (not just cryptoindustry) are exposed to more risks due to lack of experience and knowledge. Cryptocurrency is not an ideal financial instrument, but it provides incredible opportunities if you know how to use it. Even with the disadvantages of this.

lately  there are a lot of fake influencers, fake media whales, scams, fake Airdrops especially on the social media that could lead new crypto beginners to invest their time and money on projects that would do them more harm than good. Who said that this all appeared only recently? When I first created this account, the cryptoindustry was full of everything you write about and more.

Those who are susceptible to fear, for example, of missing out on an elusive profit, are doomed to get into trouble and take great risks with their investments. In this matter, cold calculation is needed, and not haste under the influence of emotions. Only sound analysis and strict selection of reliable projects contribute to successful investments.

Some Crypto investment are risky compared to bitcoin investment and some crypto don't even have potential, my question is how can someone differentiate between a crypto that has potential and the crypto that serve as a scam scheme, this is very hard to differentiate especially for people who are new in the game, don't listen to influencers promoting different kinds of crypto cause they're humans like us and they have their own opinion, that doesn't mean they're perfect or 100% right, in the crypto world despite what you've heard or learnt it's best to make your research first.

There are lots of opportunities in the crypto space where you can’t make money, but you have to be very careful or you might end up falling for scams. Scammers are everywhere in the crypto space, and they will want to use any little opportunity that they have to scam people. That's why when you are looking for ways to earn in the crypto space, you have to be very careful and smart. What you might be calling an opportunity might end up being a scam, so make sure you do your research before involving yourself in anything.

A lot of people see Crypto currency as an agenda to get rich quick,
Most people that do see cryptocurrency as a get rich quick thing are newbies, and most of them do end up falling into the wrong hands. Most newbies are always scammed before they come to their right senses. Scammers are always targeting newbies because they believe they are the ones who will easily fall for their strategy since they are desperate to make money.

but before you venture into the crypto space currently you must be prepared with a vast knowledge of how to overcome this negative activities, cause it would help one to know the right choice of crypto investment as well as knowing how to detect scam project and fake influencers that could lure you into wrong investments.
Crypto space is not a place where you can easily make money. If you want to make money in crypto space, then you should be prepared to learn, you will never be tired of it, because in crypto space, learning is supposed to be a continuous process, so you will never get tired of learning.

No one can succeed in any field without knowledge, and the cryptocurrency market is no exception. Even cryptocurrency is a harsher place than all because there is no such thing as easy money without risk and the higher the profit, the higher the risk. Cryptocurrencies can give us the opportunity to earn x10, x100 profits that no other industry or sector can give us. But at the same time, we can also go bankrupt investing in cryptocurrency if we don't have enough knowledge, so knowledge is always necessary whether in cryptocurrency or any field.

So many influencer and famous personality promoting crypto or being paid to promote a project that they don't even know about.
I see so many of those celebrities who promote new project even if they don't really know anything about cryptocurrency, they are just luring their followers to buy it.

Beginners often come to new scam projects that promise huge profits, bright wrappers and loud promises bribe many people. And only after losing their first capital do newcomers look for more stable assets and projects and thus get acquainted with Bitcoin and other coins. Remember 2017, that was a parade of scam projects and it was the newcomers who pumped up the market with money, not the old market players.
and only now we can see how the market is becoming more and more well-trained users who make fewer stupid mistakes.

I know it's very wrong to mislead people blindly, but the problem here is not about those celebrities and promoters cause they're getting paid for the services they render and sometimes they don't even care to know about what they're promoting so far It fetches them money. The major problem are those following them blindly all in the name of fans or participating in a project their favorite celeb is advertising.

Normally common sense demands that one should know or make enquires about a project before going into it , people who rush into scam bitcoin projects or Airdrops without making proper enquires or do a proper research are bound to fail and loss money, that's why it's very improper to blindly follow all those social media big whales and crypto promoters cause they'll end up getting paid by the project to mislead people blindly, sometimes out of ignorance, while their followers lose out completely. At the end you're to be blamed cause you weren't forced into investing in a scam project.

When you start trusting influencers, then you are beginning to cause problems for yourself. Influencers are not people you should trust because they are just fighting for themselves, all they are after is just the money they will be paid, and some don’t even know what the project they are marketing for is all about, they don’t care if they are scammers or not. If you are going to pay them, then they will promote your project, and people following them will be at risk.

The major problem are those following them blindly all in the name of fans or participating in a project their favorite celeb is advertising.
The rules is never follow crypto influencers, and if you will follow anyone, then make sure you do your own research about the project before following then, never follow them blindly because you might end up regretting doing that, influencers don’t care about their fans, if you lose because you followed them, the highest they will do is apologise to you, and that’s all.

people who rush into scam bitcoin projects or Airdrops without making proper enquires or do a proper research are bound to fail and loss money
Some people just hear it on social media that they can make easy money with bitcoin, or if they participate in airdrop, they can make free money, and they will end up jumping into it. Since they are in a rush looking for quick money and free money, scammers are always taking advantage of that to scam them. Whatever you are investing in, always take your time to learn about it before investing.

Of course, to success in crypto requires knowledge and experience as well.
It is true that crypto investment has a high risk, no crypto coin with no risk. Although people assume Bitcoin is a safe crypto coin, it doesn't mean to have no risk at all. Understanding the right time to buy and sell Bitcoin needs a serious analysis which means to have enough knowledge. Mastering the knowledge never takes a short time, it must take a lot of time. So, before we expect to gain profits x10 or x100, we must focus on learning first.

No doubt that there is a chance to get bankruptcy if we invest carelessly or with random ways. Knowledge is needed to guide us to have a proper way in crypto investment.  :)

You can't blame people for been eager to make quick money, it's because of the world we live now as everyone is in desperation to make money and have a success story to gist other people about the money they made from crypto.
Sometimes, don't blame the new people but the people that introduced them, they don't give them the proper beginning they need because even them don't have good beginning, it's what they learn here they introduced to other new people. If it were you that knows about these things, you will guide them into real deal of crypto and how to survive these scams and avoid things that will cause them harm from investing in different coins.

As for the market and people in rush, I think the nature of crypto has made people always in a rush to do things because the price don't stay up for long. You can invest in a coin today and it can pumped tomorrow and crash the next day, with this people rush things in everything they do and that's why I do tell new investors that are new to the game of crypto to always invest in Bitcoin just to be safe and I don't have to explain my later if any coin fall badly, I prefer new coin for new and beginners everyday.

Why do we have this feeling that if we see other people in profits, then we also try to be profitable as well, regardless if we have no certain knowledge and skills to achieve success. I believe greed is the first reason, as everyone has its own greed, it’s just a matter of how we are able to control it individually. And most likely, the big lie that majority of crypto influencers are talking about, that trading is a get rich quick, and that anyone may find it hard to resist but chose to risk in trading and lose the funds in the end.

people need to learn their own lessons before they come to discern the fact that in this market, there's more than meets the eyes. you can't achieve high profits at the early stages of dipping your hands into the trading market. if they will be disappointed early, they won't know the true benefits of this market.

i believe most of us have gone to that phase of believing we can truly earn good money out of this. remember those early days of free tokens/airdrops and exchanging it to etherdelta. i guess, a lot of early crypto users got a good amount of money on that exchange. however, the scenario now is very different. most airdrops are just wasting your time. so better find a worthwhile task that can truly pay you something, even small amount.

Therefore, I emphasize the first rule of not trusting influncers and the reason I have explained in my previous article that all are looking for profit including influencers who are definitely looking for the same thing in this case so they will definitely use their appeal with subtle words and the word "DYOR" which is always a mainstay at the end of the sentence only for their own benefit.
I agree and we can figure it out how these influencers have a way to actually give their service to their audience or they're just milking every content they make for their viewers. Some of them might be genuine and real but it's just sad to say that many of them are ingenuine and are there to make contents and money for themselves. Well, that's their livelihood but they shouldn't be like that when they go to the point that they're going to even sell their viewers to the advertisers and shill the projects on them.

The reason why most traders feel the urge to gain profits in crypto is probably because of FOMO. They don’t want to be left behind so they feel they need to take the ride as well, even if that would mean losing in the end while others are in high profits. I guess that’s how regular people are, the greed is always high that they forget to assess theirselves if they are capable to make it or not.

Another reason that might trigger the newbies to quickly earn profits is because of these fake crypto influencers. They are not honestly educating people, but they are feeding them with wrong information that only them will benefit, while seeing these newbies losing and regretting.

Lastly, since these newbies were deprived from getting the right information, then their decision making becomes at risk. Instead of working on theirselves and gain more experiences in trading, they resort on trading or selling their coins at the wrong time, because of the belief that they will only be profitable if they sell their coins, regardless if the market is not in a good position.

The most annoying thing to me about this forum or just forums /social media sites in general when it comes to cryptocurrency or more specifically bitcoin, is the whole "profit" thing.   "How to profit" blah blah blah.  Yeah sure it's great owning bitcoin and making money from it with increases in price, but for me it's truly about the technology and what it brings to the table in terms of the blockchain, decentralized etc.
That’s how it’s supposed to be but we can’t control also the mindset of majority that when they hear about bitcoin, it’s all about profits and getting rich quick. Most probably because they also based their assumptions from the crypto influencers spread online, and based from the real life stories of some early investors who are now living in success.

However, for us who are really aware about the best advantage of bitcoin, we are more focused on the technology that it can offer to us, and the decentralization thing that gives us the sole control of our finances without being interrupted by any third party.

Getting the right information is very paramount in the crypto world, the right information will give you the right results.
It is very typical for people to try to obtain the biggest benefits they can for the least effort spent, if anything humans have been doing this before civilization was even a thing, since they had to think about all the effort and energy they will need to spend to hunt a prey and the calories they will get in return.

The issue here is those people are not really making a down to earth assessment about their capabilities and the chances of getting the results they want, because if they did, many of them will give up on the idea and buy bitcoin instead of those shitcoins.

Another thing to consider is what people see on the internet, especially on social media platforms where some people claim or say that it is "easy money" to these people, especially the new ones just to have a lot of people follow them.
With a lack of education, a lot of people will always rush and think about profits very quickly in the market.

Looking for big profits in crypto is not easy because there will be a mismatch between capital and profits. If people say small capital can provide big profits in altcoins then ask them what level of risk this will involve. Taking risks in places that are not guaranteed will have a much worse psychological impact because when faced with unsuitable conditions people will experience problems. Investment and profits will be in accordance with the capital we place and I see that especially in bitcoin because the less money we put in bitcoin, the profit will follow that capital.

Never get trapped in the condition of making fast and big profits because there is no way to get that if our finances are unstable. Various news is released on social media and we have to verify it first before making a decision because currently there are many people who make money from making news releases. Use knowledge when analyzing something and don't be too quick to make decisions before making comparisons with other news. Be wise in making decisions and don't rush into thinking about big profits in a short period of time because there is almost no way to do it.

The market is quite complex and it is designed and created in such a way as to deprive most players of money. By definition, the market cannot be too understandable for the majority. If most players understand the market well, then everyone will become rich, and this is impossible. To confuse the majority, the market constantly loops from level to level. Analysts are constantly redrawing their lines on charts and marking waves differently in wave analysis. Moreover, the situation is much simpler for less capitalized assets. If we take altcoins from the top hundred, we will find very harmonious graphs there. But Bitcoin is pretty messed up.

You used the right verb: should. People should do many things but, as we already know, many people are lazy, they don't care about learning, they just want the gains, quick gains, and they want it now. I understand that it's normal making some mistakes along the way, nobody is perfect, and losing money make you grow because it teaches you a lesson, but when I hear of people falling in scam like "put your money on this platform and we'll give you a 5% daily interest" I mean, come on...

Now with the influencers, it is also true that most of them, I don't understand that most of them are mind conditioning the viewers that they will say that the crypto they are promoting is good or has potential, but if you are sensitive and do research, you will know that the others are not telling the truth, so poor people who don't know because they just rely on what other influencers say.

A lot of mistakes are made in the work that is done in too much haste. If we rush into the script space and expect a lot of profits in a short period of time, we will not meet those expectations because waiting is very important here. If we expect a lot of profit after a few days of investing in a coin, but that profit will never happen, instead of expecting a quick profit, if we can be patient and wait for a long time, then we can get something better than expected from that investment. One of the characteristics of a good investor is that he must be patient enough and have enough faith in his investment. If the investor is patient enough and if he can wait long enough for something good then he will definitely get something good at the end of the period.

The thing is, many influencers tend to focus only on the positive aspects of cryptocurrency and encourage their followers to invest without explaining the potential risks involved. Oftentimes, they only highlight the potential profits that can be made and neglect to mention possible scenarios such as a sudden market downturn. Their main priority is to increase the number of people who invest or refer others, without considering the consequences for their viewers once the investment is made.

There is no doubt that we can get a huge profit in cryptocurrency which we cannot easily get by investing in any other place, but on the other hand, people don't consider that as easily and quickly as you can make good profits, you can also lose easily. So you are right that a correct information and research can save us from things that can lead to our loss. Now a day many new projects are being launched and we see the promotion of it on many channels and platforms which is presented in a big way. Often people who don't know about cryptocurrency invest in such new projects which later lead to loss for them.

We should know that the people who tell about such projects or airdrops are always sponsored by the project and they get paid handsomely, because of them people like such projects, and participate in airdrops that benefit the project, but may cause losses to the investors later on.Our own research and information is the best, everyone should always be heard, but your own information is always important when making a decision. Often I have noticed that if you look at 10 people who tell us about projects, you will never see the same thing in these 10, but they keep telling you about different projects. From which it is not difficult to guess that all this is done only to trap us.

Most of us just jump into crypto investment thinking they could make money right away and I can't blame them either because that was been spread by these fake influencers. Most of the investors got scammed of what they thought about crypto.

We can see people are looking for a gem but sadly, they fall into shitcoins. The results of our investment depend on what coins we choose and of course, the knowledge we have. More and more people suffer losses from their wrong perceptions about crypto investment and many people have failed by following these social media influencers.

The reason I do believe is that the promised profits by these scammers is just too damn good even if it isn't true and with that kind of people that's desperate to make some money, I do think that it's a no-brainer for why people are joining anything and everything even if the airdrop or the tokens are an obvious scam, they want the promised reward and not the tangible one. There's also the fear of missing out that you've mentioned already, there are people out there that want to get in as soon as they can because they feel like they're being left out and so they end up with this delusion that if possible, anything that would promise me profit or tell them that they're the next bitcoin, that they would grab the opportunity to invest or join with no questions asked and there it goes, they end up either getting scammed or their investments tanking because they didn't take the time to consider some stuff and learn about the coin or the airdrop, they jump right in. Another reason why I think that there's a rush is because we've grown up in a fast paced environment and we want to keep up with it and we end up being groomed to do it all fast because we need to do as much as we can with so little time that we've got.

I do agree that it is not really that easy, and could definitely be tough to "not" fall for these scams. But people see other people making unreal amount of money, and they start to think maybe some of these scams are actually true. That is not an easy decision to make, because you do not know which ones are fake and which ones are real.

But you do end up with something that will look to be decent given enough time. So I believe, we should just let it be, and not really overreact to each case. Just look one by one, if something looks like a scam, there is no need to dwell on it, move on, there are no shortages of projects in the crypto world, so even if you doubt just a little bit, move on to the next project until you find one you trust 100% completely.

I mean who doesn’t like to make profits? We all do hardwork in order to make quick money in minimum amount of time. Hence all the people do this only. Some think crypto can make them rich very fast. They give time to the market, analyse it and hence invest certain amount. Some does the right analysis and make great profits while some fail and losses the money. So we can’t complain about the rush here. Yes people have different styles to make money. Some like to make it slow while some take huge risks to make quick profits.

The reason some BTC investors are rushing to sell their BTC in the market the moment they heard the information about bull run in some social media because, they don't have the idea the right time to supply to avoid losses from the market.

Sometimes I pay attention to some news on social media but I don't follow up with their fake information than to carry out some research about the information I heard on a particular platform or social media to know if truly there is a way I can get what I want from the market or not before taking a step.

I think people are always desperate to make profits when it comes to trading, but in the recent time things got worse due to the pandemic and the inflation times. Everything is getting more expensive, food, energy prices, rent, etc. It's really hard to make your investment grow while we have to spend so much of our monthly salary on fixed cost. Now add the recent bull run of crypto currencies on top of that and people start to become afraid of missing out. FOMO is a serious issue that has lead to many investors to make purchases they normally wouldn't have made. Which is why it's so important to make our own research and decisions instead of blindly following other people. In times of quick rising prices it seems that we need to act very fast, otherwise we are going to miss out on the whole rally. But there will always be setbacks and new opportunities to buy a coin again. If you look at the crypto charts you will see that prices are moving in cycles and we will always find another time to make purchases again.

As far as I'm concerned, I do not see any desperation here as long as it is the cryptocurrency we are talking about, most of them have good prospects. If we can't take risks, we can't gain, this is not desperation in most cases. Those who started buying Bitcoin while it was below $10 would also be tagged desperate at that time because investing in such an unpopular and risky project by then can't be so appropriate to some people, but we all see what Bitcoin has become today. The more you have an affinity for risk, the better for you, but one must first be reasonable with the risks they are taking and be sure that they commit only the money they can afford to lose on it. Some will even disregard the last rule and it will yield for them better since they have the mind for it, so it is all about risk-taking.

Many have taken it and have been happy, smiling at their banks and various wallets. How I wish I had even taken more risk in the second half of last year. In this crypto we are talking about, we have numerous opportunities, some risk-takers have made money massively, and even last year in the last mini-bull run, many were made happy with it. Imagine those who are lucky to invest in those coins that moved over 10 times, or those BRC-20 projects that moved more than that, or the BONK itself that moves upwards in tens of multiples. So, it is all about what you have, your mind for risk, and how you foresee and plan for it.

The rush probably is caused by a lot of things. Still, the first thing that came into my mind is because of the world we live in now, the instant gratification that is being shown to different people starting from a young age and has been a factor towards anyone that want to have fast results. It's mostly like that in terms of the "rush" and taking time isn't being practiced anymore.

Additionally, more factors that people probably have
  • Other people within the crypto space show the opportunities of earning. They see people having intense profits from crypto and they probably think they can replicate that
  • The quick wealth type of thing is possible and it changed the mindset of some people
  • They feel FOMO with their peers

I agree that education is an important thing when trying to do anything, especially when trying to make a profit. It's best to be knowledgeable.

This is a common perspective due to which people end up losing money as they dive into the ocean of crypto with very little knowledge as little knowledge is too dangerous because that's when we end up making blunders after blunder. People need to stop being lazy greedy and start doing their own analysis and stop believing in the crypto influencers I mean fake influencers because people expect easy money assuming these influencer because people don't want to put their efforts and time to know about crypto and how it works all they need is a signal which can make them rich. It's high time as we are discussing about bullrun there would be new influences or so called experts born every now and then especially during bull run we need to avoid them and do our research if we don't want to end up as a loser.

You've said it all, this statement really caught my attention because even though one has a good knowledge of the crypto space, they must be very cautious with investing only funds they could afford to lose, even though they're willing to give it a trial, they should be aware that the chances of losing is always higher compared to winning, lucks like that don't come regularly and one have to consider their health status before they venture into risk taking that would break them completely.

Well ìt all falls back to the fact that before you take a risk you must have knowledge about what your doing, you must be aware of the consequences of being unlucky, not people who're misinformed about a project but just want to try their luck and see if it would work for them, because it worked perfectly for a close pal of family. Yes before you want to risk investing in BONK, you must have a good knowledge about BONK. not someone who overheard people discussing about how they benefited from it and decided to try, without making proper research about it.

Sometimes it's very beneficial not to venture into something you saw online because they appear really promising, sometimes they can be too good to be true but because of our quest for quick and fast profit we may not want to take that time to verify he True these opportunities are and save our selves of the potential harm some of these opportunities possess. Airdrops has been one of the vehicle most fraudulent projects use to get their victims to invest into their projects but if you are diligent to DYOR most often, you may not fall into the traps of these fraudulent sharks.

Whenever an opportunity for easy money avails it's self it's very wise to exercise initial restraint and observe closely how solid is the community and reputation behind any project before investing so you don't end up loosing your money to fraudsters in the giuse of helping you grow and investing your funds.

Yes, everyone who wants to enter the crypto world of course they have to do their own research and don't just trust fake crypto influencers who are only looking to make a profit from the videos they broadcast, they only think about their own profits and other people who will suffer losses because they are lazy in doing so. do research about crypto and start by not having good knowledge about crypto of course we have to do our own research if we don't want the assets we have to just disappear because we believe they are fake crypto influencers.

Desire for quick profit is a pure human nature, and this why we have more poor people in the world than rich people, why? Because only a very few people will or are willing to invest long term in a project or company that could turn their financial live around, those who are sensible invest in a thing when less people are talking about it, because they know when more people start discovering that thing and start talking about it, the price will greatly increase, and this is exactly what happens.

So, by the time prices are up and alot of people talking about something, you see most people will start to fomo into that thing trying to win some profit, meanwhile, they must have seen heard about that thing when it was very cheap, but gave it no attention.

So, rushing to gain profit in crypto is a normal thing, atleast, it is one of the reason behind bull runs, if new people arent fomo ing, trying to catch a flying bird, bull runs won't run for long, and won't make much profit for the early investors.

It happens because people come here with wrong assumptions. Some of them read these stories that describe how someone did this or that and turned a thousand dollars into a million. It works the same way that casinos do, by giving very high estimates and people think that if they made 100x, they'll easily make 2x. They think their expectations are curbed when compared to the rest of the community, but they don't get how this works. The fact that that guy can run for 20 miles doesn't make you go and run for 2 just like that because you may be so weak that you won't even make 10% of his distance without getting a heart attack. Expectations vs reality, that's what it's all about.

Be careful with all kinds of links that no one knows even if they are sent by your cousin, because it could be phishing links or links containing malware that are now rife.
Your decision to delete it is quite right, after all, if your cousin wants to invite you in a business or provide a referral link why doesn't he confirm it again.

I also always see what I click on, so I don't get stuck in a dangerous situation.
Want to get a profit, even get a problem, of course it is wanted.

The bull market is a place for scammers to return to action, and must be wary of all kinds of methods carried out.
Doing detailed research needs to be done so that everything is safe and under control.

People who are new to crypto currency or those who want to invest in crypto currency by looking at social media may think that they will make money overnight but they end up losing more than making money. In investing in crypto currency we must acquire enough knowledge or else about  Without acquiring enough knowledge, we cannot invest well in it so that there is a possibility of financial loss. Especially those who are new to cryptocurrencies who have no knowledge about cryptocurrencies may be too hasty to invest to become an overnight millionaire which is not the right thing to do as there is no possibility of making such money from cryptocurrencies. Patience is very important in investing in crypto currency We should invest in crypto currency with patience and time to check the market. Thus if we can invest in crypto currency we will definitely be successful.

There are maay stories revolving around different social media platforms showing how much some investors have earned from this industry, in general, but not only with Bitcoin which is one of the misconceptions. Probably, those stories made an impression to non crypto investors and new ones in this industry that things are easily done by just investing. I can testify that it is not that easy 'coz if that is true, why are people losing money from their crypto investments? Disregarding the idea of fraud projects and scams and more on bad investment decision alone. Imagine investing at this moment with a decent mount and happened to be push by circumstances to sell early; instant loss especially if the market price is down by that time.

Same thing with wrong speculations of how the market will move. The market price of cryptos are volatile in nature and that means pattern and analysis could work however will not guarantee profit. There are sudfen pump and dumps in the market due to different factors. Keep in mind that demand is a general variable and is affected by mny factors such as news, FOMO, or even events thaat haas no direct relationshi with this industry. Familiar with war on the previous year which somewhat triggered a dump with the market prices? Not to mention whale manipulations. Nothing's easy as long as risk is present.

That's true, but depending on what point of view we look at it from, being rich doesn't mean you have to rush, you also have to implement a strategy to take advantage of it.
In the Crypto market price movements are quite fast and significant so it is possible for us to make big profits as well as losses so in my opinion everything will be worth it.

Getting profit from the crypto market is difficult for a newcomer. With increasing scams, the investor should have adequate knowledge of the coins and airdrops they are investing in. Many people are investing in the crypto market because of the hype that you can be rich overnight, and a majority of the influencers are also attracting investors by saying the same thing. People started investing in shit coins and airdrops in the hope that they get rich instantly. The crypto market is not for the faint-hearted. It demands patience, patience and more patience. Bitcoin is the only reliable investment option for newcomers.

It is a matter of the temptation of profit, in the form of investment, profit is the end result. Sometimes they will sell to take profits when they feel the pumps are working well enough. So they exit with their money. Sometimes being pragmatic in that way is good for one person and vice versa for another. There have been a lot of people with bad intentions that promoted crypto as a get rich quick scheme, and newbies with no crypto experience have spread this further to others. That's why nowadays people with no knowledge about crypto think of it as a quick way to make an extra buck, which is obviously a big misconception. Even those who made huge profits from crypto, made it because of holding for several years. There is no point talking about those who made quick profits from investing in ICOs, because we all know that was just a lottery where some got lucky while many more lost their money.

There is no need to rush in the crypto space and to me the most paramount is having the basic knowledge and with the basic knowledge, one would be certain to explore the crypto space. I thought I was the only one observing the false news from those online bloggers and I think people ought to learn how to filter out false news from the real ones and learn how not to rush in the crypto space but rather take our time to observe and make right decisions so as not to fall victim of any false news.
Op I would have given you a plus one but I guess I will reserve it for a more better time. Good luck

Luckily not all are like that. And maybe the OP is one of it. This is why he came up with such question. There are people who likes to rush but they do it on other activities instead, like for example in playing a gambling inside a casino, and not through crypto investing and trading.

I think that is more applicable since the results there are much faster. And there is no learning curve on them. But for crypto investing and trading, there are. And if you don't learn them, your chance of failing is very high. Shorting is one of the ways to earn in the crypto field but I think not all who does them are the type of people that we talked about earlier.

It is a matter of the temptation of profit, in the form of investment, profit is the end result. Sometimes they will sell to take profits when they feel the pumps are working well enough. So they exit with their money. Sometimes being pragmatic in that way is good for one person and vice versa for another. Personally, even though I wanted to escape when the bull run started, being greedy was more of a problem and got stuck there. lol
When someone decides to invest, of course they want to make a profit from what they have invested and everyone has a profit target and also a way of looking at the market, there are those who take profits after they see price movements in a high direction and there are those who analyze the market and wait for appropriate profits. with what they are targeting.

Of course, we must be able to avoid greed in investment if we don't want what we have invested to be able to enjoy when the profits have come, because if we are greedy in the investments we make, of course we will miss out on the profits we have made in the hope that the price will be even higher. In the future, it is very important that we continue to decide things with the understanding we have and in a situation that is not rushed.

For ordinary people, it is very easy to be tempted to gain profits from crypto, they only see the fantastic prices when they increase, without understanding and analyzing them independently.  Therefore, it is no longer strange that most people lose money on the investments they make in crypto, mostly from beginners who only follow booming investment trends.
However, crypto certainly provides opportunities for anyone regardless of class, the most important thing is not to easily believe information obtained from one social media source before finding out more before deciding to start investing in any type of crypto, especially newly launched projects.

People who know exactly how to manage their investments before bull run were not desperate enough to rush and gain profit in crypto. But for those who are here for greed and nothing else, once they see potentials to be in profits, they will eventually grab for it even selling when it’s not actually bull run yet. And I think we don’t have control over them if that will be their mindset but we can always educate them not to take the rush because bitcoin price will eventually grow more when the real bull run hits the market.
Bitcoin has a way of misleading the market, and sometimes when you buy, the price drops. I'm not sure how it is for everyone, but I suppose those with experience should not have problems with the market being controlled. When I have bitcoin, I simply lose all of my imagination. We've all had the impression that when you invest, your mind will be completely focused on the profit, but investing in bitcoin isn't like that.

And I will not condemn those who sell when they make a profit without waiting for a bull run. Selling when you make a profit is part of trading. And everyone has a different perspective on their assets.

Crypto has been seen and told to people to be a get rich scheme, although its not true, people have decided to go ahead with the narrative and just keep exposing their resources to maximum risk.
I this meone has to change the narrative for them cos its an obvious lie
It is actually an investment that will make you wealthy, but not on your own schedule. Because there are numerous occupations, you will earn from bitcoin rather than just a bull run. I have noticed that bitcoin works with news, and whenever there is great news, the price of bitcoin rises. So, once you've invested in Bitcoin, you'll need to understand how to navigate the market. And aside what people will tell you also have knowledge of what you going into to know wether you can do it or not.

It's not easy to be a winner in crypto space, you need a lot of patience, but some times we run out of patience, newbies especially, they will get tired easily because they have no idea how crypto market used to performing in every four years cycle, this reminds me of a friend who sold everything when the bull market is like 6 months away, he gave up too soon in 2020 and every changed in 2021, this is someone who have been holding since 2018, but because he had no past crypto experience he thought that no more bull market is coming.

To become a successful holder in crypto space you must have a lot of money flow that will keep your mind in a positive attitude,  lack of money is why many investors get tired, ask yourself this, if Bull market takes another two years will you be able to survive without the money you invest in crypto? As a crypto investor if this upcoming bull market takes another few years I can survive and do very well without crypto money, because I have other means of making money, even before I came to know about crypto.

I can't ever go hungry because I am from a family of farmers, everything I eat is from my farm land and I make money selling to the public too, I have been doing this from young age, if anything happened to crypto I will still do very well for myself, this was even how I am able to have lot of money in Bitcoin, source of income is a must to be a successful long term holder.

It is true that some people are drawn to the idea of generating quick money with cryptocurrencies, which increases their vulnerability to fraud. being aware that social media manipulation is a common tactic used by scammers to trick and mislead people these days. As you mentioned, they may create a sense of pressure, use persuasive strategies, or give misleading information to deceive people into acting rashly or disclosing private information. I believe that greed may be the driving force behind people's actions, like their rash attempts to benefit from cryptocurrencies without conducting enough study.
I'm talking about how the prospect of huge profits and great returns can occasionally cloud people's judgment and cause them to act rashly.  Naturally, fraudsters take advantage of this greed by presenting investment possibilities that look too good to be true or unrealistic returns.

Since cryptocurrency markets are known for their volatility and the possibility of significant price jumps, I also believe that fear of missing out plays a role. People may therefore rush to invest without doing adequate research or realizing the hazards involved out of a fear of missing out on the big profits others are making. I believe this type of thinking is typical among certain people.

Crypto has been seen and told to people to be a get rich scheme, although its not true, people have decided to go ahead with the narrative and just keep exposing their resources to maximum risk.
No one is able to reject news published on social media, but very few people are able to verify the news with accuracy. In recent years we have heard about fraud involving forex and this has happened to many people who want big profits from small capital. Without us realizing it, crypto gets dragged into it so that a narrative of fraud emerges for those who don't fully know the causes of the fraud, therefore there is a need for verification before people actually get involved in it.

I this meone has to change the narrative for them cos its an obvious lie
Recognize the lies and avoid get-rich-quick schemes with small capital because now there is no way to get richer by placing small capital in crypto. Even people who get involved in bitcoin using small funds do not get rich quickly, especially when it comes to other cryptos.

The combination of volatility, FOMO, speculative behavior, regulatory uncertainty, and social influence contributes to the rush to gain profit in crypto. However, it's important for investors to approach cryptocurrency investment with caution, conduct thorough research, and consider their risk tolerance and long-term financial goals. For eg-Social media and online forums often highlight stories of individuals making significant profits from cryptocurrency investments. This can create social pressure to join the rush and achieve similar financial success.

Some people can think Bitcoin is a life-changing opportunity and i also corroborate their thought. However, it is important to remember that investing here can lead to adversity. A bitcoin investor needs to have an idea of what are the positive aspects of investing in bitcoin and how investing in it will change his life. It's not like just invest and become rich after a few days. Time is a big deal here. But if an investor does not buy bitcoins rather invests in altcoins for getting high profits then it will be a bad decision for him. Even bigger problem for those who don't know about cryptocurrencies is that they can also fall for scammers. Of course a user first needs to have a good knowledge about cryptocurrencies.

I see it as a natural thing if bitcoin grows higher because many things affect it, especially from its supply and production, according to experts in the field of marketing, if a product is say exclusive or rare then its value (price) will be higher. So I think bitcoin can also fall into this category.

For eg-Social media and online forums often highlight stories of individuals making significant profits from cryptocurrency investments. This can create social pressure to join the rush and achieve similar financial success.
Success stories like that are only the initial trigger to invest and enter, but they have no basis for how to invest and what to do.
People like this are easier to deceive and deceive by influencers who are looking to benefit from those who join.

Of course, remember the SBF success story aired by NAS Daily influencers, who framed it as if SBF was a very nice guy and donated all his earnings to the foundation.
But in reality, SBF is just a cunning scammer who uses their investors' money in FTX.
So don't easily believe in anything before doing research first and don't rush everything.

Taking part in the airdrop to be able to get a profit if the project turns out to be successful is not a problem in my opinion because everyone likes free money and there is no loss if it turns out the project fails. The problem is if we have to connect our wallet which contains coins that have quite good value because that will puts us at risk of loss.
Getting quick profits is more exciting than having to wait a long time and the risks are comparable. The sooner you hope to make a profit, the greater the risk of loss you will get.

Just as the cryptovator said earning money in crypto is not easy so it's. The growth in crypto, it's success, improvement made, and standard kept, hard many many jump into it, but forget to get details information about it. One thing they most have in mind is that in every advantage there must be disadvantage.scamer is the disadvantage if not been fully inform before jumping in, many shiltcoin with no value, that is not even found in the market space full the everywhere and the promoter of this coin can't tell you they not real because they are scammers eating from the losses others make,to be in safety is to avoid any investment your not fully sure once it come to deal with crypto and seek idea from some who have full knowledge.

Everyone feels happy to be part of successful projects and to get rewards through airdrops and other promotional campaigns. In the past, it was possible to profit from any form of project. Now things have changed, and there is a big process involved in making a project worthy. Finding a worthy project is quite hard, and it is also kind of luck when one is able to participate in an airdrop of a successful project. When we're good at having the patience to analyze and invest, the risk of losing will be less, and the beginner level of person too can turn himself successful.

However, it is true that they are often in a rush and participate without investigating the airdrop. They fear missing out on a single airdrop and wasting their time and effort completing all the tasks.

Earning money was never been easy and crypto is not an exemption you need to know so many things and understand how it works in order to succeed.
You need to learn first in order to earn so it takes time don't rush things.

Perhaps, the idea of getting instant returns and easy money is coming from social media influencers who are promoting their platform to gain attraction which also affects the mentality of greedy people. Many people have fallen into this kind of manipulating trick and failed their expectations, then blamed Bitcoin and even said it was scam stuff.

After all, many people still don't understand what is Bitcoin investment. This kind of investment is not for impatient people, not those in the rush to see results but this is for those who can afford to hold and wait for the outcomes.

The new people on this market are the ones to get that reminder. They're the ones who are rushing in profits and going on elsewhere everyone someone tells them that on the other side of the fence is always greener. They have quick judging that they shouldn't be left behind by that and for that simple words, they partake those airdrops and new project launchings because they have been shared that whoever gets first with these projects are usually the ones that will enjoy their profits soon. When someone tells them that they can basically make 100x easy instant on the bull run, that's what encouraging them to keep on doing it despite that many have told them warnings to be careful.

The lesson will be the one to teach them that they must be careful in taking part of it because once they fall to a wrong project that has an airdrop and it turns to be a scam or it just took their identities for verification processes and they've got nothing in return. Then, that's the time that they should worry that they've been joining these airdrops and giving out their identities for nothing and at the same time, they're marketed out by those projects and probably selling somewhere their IDs to another companies or scammers.

Yes that's right. Investment is not a get-rich-quick scheme, especially in the near future, investment requires a process and patience to achieve financial freedom in the future. But we also know that most people become rich because of investment, therefore we must know that investment is very important to build wealth for the future.

Many rich people in this world become richer because they invest over time. It must be admitted, there are many ways to achieve wealth and it can be obtained in other ways, for example by working, doing business and so on. However, using this route has limits, it is different from the wealth route from investment, it can be very large and can even exceed the usual route. So the best investment is to invest from the start, namely by mastering knowledge and not being greedy.

I think that no matter how long or how loud it is said, people will keep on seeing it as an avenue to make money. We’re humans and we have this greed that overrides our patience and then makes us rush in. I don’t think this is just for newbies because there are people who may have had a bad experience with a project, probably because of rushing in, but they don’t learn their lessons and keep on after the money, forgetting what had happened to them. Aside the fake influencers and all, greed is a factor.

And if someone lacks good knowledge about something, they will have no choice but to follow those people who appear on social media claiming that they are experts. I believe if someone has good knowledge about Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency industry, they will hardly follow influencers in making their currency investment decisions, but they will be aware that they do not have expertise about cryptocurrency.and Also, greed can allow someone to follow another person's decision about their cryptocurrency investments, like they need to depend on other people's decisions because they will never be satisfied with their own decision because of their greed. They will hardly value their own knowledge but only depend on other people's decisions.

Recognize the lies and avoid get-rich-quick schemes with small capital because now there is no way to get richer by placing small capital in crypto. Even people who get involved in bitcoin using small funds do not get rich quickly, especially when it comes to other cryptos.

You wouldn't blame them, you'd blame first, the people who mentor such proteges and then the rumour mongers who make it look like money hangs on trees and its just to pluck it off the tree and then make them understand that the space is sufficient enough to satisfy everyone in it and those to come.

There should be some sorth of standard for educating noobs in the space

I will not blame the project consultants or those who spread false rumors, because it is my own fault. Because I am greedy, stupid, ignorant but like to get rich quickly. Because if I'm not greedy, don't have a get-rich-quick mindset and am always careful in everything, I will never fall into those silly traps.

If you only know how to blame projects, or blame others when you are scammed. One day you will also blame bitcoin and cryptocurrency for losing money. In any market there will be pitfalls and scams, even in the society we live in, and if you always cultivate knowledge, are always careful, and are not greedy, no one can fool you.

Had to say that more and more people become impatient, they easily get bored and give up on things that they can't handle. Most of the new generation wanted to control everything around on their hands but this is impossible in real life and much more in crypto investment. It was hard to accept but this is the truth that only those who understand the nature of crypto investment will win while impatient people fail.

We have to stop thinking of easy money, it is not a healthy mindset. We'd rather think that investment doesn't generate profit right away but it takes several weeks, months, or even years.

The truth is that people are usually looking for where things can turn around their financial predicament to liberation. Once they hear any route that will lead to such success they don't wait to know the disadvantage involved. Another thing here is the human action always tend to what they hear and what they see, as most of the influencer always advertised on social Media and shoe how they make money through investment and trading it draw the attention of many poor people who think is so easy to make it and they will jump without proper information about it regarding the losses involved. Trading with deep knowledge is the worst thing person will do was it come to this crypto market because the loss involved can make you hate the system because making money in Bitcoin is not easy as people see it it requires wisdom and been smart, knowing the right time to enter the market and right to mornitor changes. And having full knowledge about some shiltcoin that can failed easily as they lack required standard.

Nicely said but I can't agree with all that you narrated here, especially the remark that the impatient people fail, that can't be an outright result. This is not gambling where such can be good advice, and at times, if you are not impatient, you might not be able to move out of your comfort zone. As impatient might not be good in many ways, being too patient is a curse and one of the reasons why some people will never make it because they are too relaxed. All that matters is to ensure that you do not leave any stone unturned, we should not procrastinate, but we should not overdo things so that it will not affect our mental health. Curiosity, they say is the month of investment, and if you are aware, it could trigger impatient to achieve one's goal, and this has not always been bad for business/investment that is well-informed. This impatient of a thing is relative, it is not always as bad as it is viewed depending on where and how used.

Aside from that, you are right, one has to take it easy, it is not a matter of the rush when you have already started a thing. Especially in the crypto investment, you do not put everything upon your head as if it must be done in a day, neither should you think that others are moving ahead of you and you will need to push it too far. That psychology alone could be detrimental and I must say that it affected me a while ago until I had to advise myself all by myself and I was able to" turn a good leaf" again. Above all, we should do our best and leave the rest, that's the best. After all, we are doing something not that we are idle or goalless.

Or simply they do become that instantly become that desperate on the time that they would be able to hear out those kind of probabilities on which they do know that it does have that kind of chance on making profits or making that money on which it would really be just that part of human instinct for us to rush in on whatever things that we do see that it does give out that kind of chance. This is why it wont really be that shocking nor surprising that people would really be having that kind of approach when it comes to profits this is why we do really go into different paths and ways on which some do go into the right path and majority would really be going into those wrong things on which it causes for them to have that loses.

When you do step your foot into this market then really be sure that you should really be that wise when it comes to the steps that you would really be making. You are the ones who would really
be the ones to find out which method works for you and which one wont really be doing so. You are the ones who would really be finding those methods
and the ones who would discover which one will really be that sustaining.

Impatient are the major problem many people are facing in their investment today and it has made many to experience loses many times but if truly you want to put an end to it, just try to be patience whenever the price of BTC is rising because some time the price will rise and fall down before the real bull will begin which is the best time to release your BTC to market.

I think newbies always have such mindset on getting rich easily in their crypto investment because, they lack potential orientation before involving themselves in the crypto investment which is a wrong mindset for anyone to have in his journey.

The desire to make money is almost magnetic. And why not? We all want to succeed. I think the financial market, especially ETFs and Bitcoin, is a marathon. I've navigated this path, fallen a few times, and learned what true investment wisdom is.

Everyone's path is different. I've found no shortcut or magic technique that ensures success. Trial and error is about finding what works and rejecting the rest. Your approach and method come from personal exploration.

Everyone learns what they need. All part of the process, it may take time and some hard knocks. In addition to growing your money, the market offers a platform for learning how to make successful and sensible decisions. Remember that its about the journey, the lessons you learn, and who you become.

I think is just depending on the high bitcoin price we have no again. Once the price of bitcoin rises, there is a big inflow of scammers and "influencers" that want to profit of the new high price. We shouldn't be worrying too much about such things and don't give into any of these people. Just because someone is driven by FOMO and wants to make a huge profit now quickly, doesn't mean we should be changing our strategy. It's good to follow other people to see what else is happening in the community and to stay informed, but this should have no real impact on our own actions. Especially when following a HODL strategy, I wouldn't really care about why other people are taking profits now and selling their coins. It's all about building a long term crypto portfolio and if we trade too often to take profits, then we will spend a lot in transaction cost, as we will have to rebuy the coins later again. For me the biggest issue with fake news is that other sources of information should be contradicting it. And even if everything seems to be showing into one direction it will be helpful to wait for an official statement. Now in the time of AI the number of fake news will likely increase and it becomes more important for us to be cautious and question the news.

This is because of wrong information sent to those people , they even believe that bitcoin can make them instant rich and from that they are expecting too much from each investments they bring.
sometimes it is annoying but sometimes we understand them because of lacking of knowledge that bring them to wrong decisioning and wrong expectations.
