As you might know, the price of bitcoin reached its lower point since last month.

Should those who want to buy more do it now or do you believe we'll see the bitcoin price get down a little more?

Some here were talking about rumours of BTC being purchased from Saudi Arabia, but well, that's just a rumour.
But people tend to panic and sell, so this might be the best moment to buy as much btc as possible. What do you think?

I could answer it very easily for such a price when ETF was not approved, that yes it's the best time to buy back now or get in because until the end of 2024 still, a new ATH is optimistic. At the same time for now I think a decent time to buy but I'll hold my hands for a breakout of the psychological support level of 38k to fill my bags aggressively. Not a piece of financial advice just my observation that being greedy I should wait for more to buy more.

At the same time, the ground is still highly bullish for 2024 and this cycle will conclude itself in somewhere mid of 2025 and its just the beginning so hold tight.

Mate asking other people when to buy or sell your bitcoin is not the best move it is your money and no one knows it nor yourself the most than yourself if you know you already can afford the current price then just buy it waiting too much might lead you to missing an opportunity  ;)

I'm not really asking when to buy. My point is that this might be a good time to buy more BTC.

The best time was at the end of 2022. But as it is impossible to know, the best thing to do is to buy little by little at an average price, the famous DCA. It is impossible to know tops and bottoms, they are always probabilities.

If we talk about the best time to buy after the last bullish era, it will be in the lowest price happened in 2022. Yeah of course, but it doesn't mean to stop accumulating again the BTC right now.

We also know that the market will be dumping a lot before the bitcoin halving. If the market is dumping before the Bitcoin halving then we can assume that the current dumping tie is a pre-Bitcoin halving signal. Anytime is perfect for an investor to invest in Bitcoin. But for those who invest using DCA method any time is perfect and for those who invest without DCA the current time is more perfect. But for those who have not invested and have prepared to invest, I would say that you must invest from this dumping market. If you miss this opportunity now, you may not get such an opportunity later. And even if the market becomes more dumping from here, then you can't lose patience, you have to be patient.

Whenever there is panic in the market the best entry time and waiting for more opportunities to come could lead to missed opportunities due to the market volatility in nature and hard to predict sometimes.
What I can say now is that the market has changed from the previous market we have seen and the organization that filed for spot ETF will want to be the major player in the market to make the best out of whatever they do in the market always DCA every dip.

I'm not sure if you have heard of Grayscale trust, it was set up some years ago for some traditional investors that wanted to buy bitcoin, so Grayscale set up a trust for people to buy bitcoin and when bitcoin increased in value, the investors get profits from their shares and there equivalent amount of Bitcoin with Grayscale but since ETF has now been approved by the SEC after many years, they are selling the trust because traditional investors are moving to the recently approved ETF Bitcoin and that's why bitcoin is dumping.

I will called the sell off temporary selling pressure, by the time they are done with it and more people but bitcoin, the halving will kick and have more upside for Bitcoin as a new bullrun. So I will tell you to buy some bitcoin and hold even if there is no signal about that yet.


What do you mean Saudi Arabia will buy bitcoin, what's so special about it? If they are not making Bitcoin a legal tender then to me, it's useless because is just like any other regular investors buying Bitcoin and holding it. Even the US government has bout 2% of bitcoin total supply under their wallet and they are holding like normal other investors.

Two different scenarios or options: yes, as long as the bitcoin price is much lower, it is a good opportunity for those small investors to enter the market, buy a portion of bitcoin through satoshi, and wait for the increase in price, but of course it should be done with more knowledge and analysis in the market because we never know the price might drop even more. Why? Simply because of the panic, because of the recent decrease in price, many investors tend to panic and sell some or all of their bitcoin assets. That's why the price dipped even more. This could be an opportunity, but there is a risk. Knowing bitcoin, I don't think it will disappoint.

When you want to buy it, I will always advise you to buy it and remove your mind from it because if you wait for the price to drop, you might either use up the money or the price of bitcoin might end up going up, so it's either you buy when you have the money or you can just use the DCA method in order to not feel the price impact.

I don't think they should wait for Bitcoin price to drop a little. Bitcoin price movement is unpredictable, it might be the last dip for someone to afford it. Because knowing that it has reached #49k after ETF approval, that Is to say  that it might surpass Bitcoin price after the ETF approval. Or grow to meet the formal Bitcoin ATH or above. I agree because once we will start to pump, for sure a lot of people will regret again for not buying. But now, most of them feel fear also not motivated to buy.
Well, it's up to them, we are just here to speculate. Overall what I can see now is price correction because of our recent pump.

I personally think it's a pretty good time to buy bitcoin being that it has fallen below the 40,000 mark. (which pisses me off but that another story).  I think once institutional clients at firms like Blackrock that have opened bitcoin ETFs find out how easy it is to buy now, they'll jump on board..but we need another spike.

I of course as always would recommend dollar cost averaging in..because who really knows.

The best time to buy Bitcoin was in 2022 when everything was a freefall. When everything is panicking and selling their coins. When every market is going down, that's the best time to buy. Bitcoin is going down at that time, and that's the best time to buy.

Seriously, why are you asking this? I don't think that relying on our opinions would be a good idea for you to when to buy. I mean we can say that the best time to buy is when Bitcoin is at $48,000. If we say that, will you follow it? If we say that the best time to buy Bitcoin is when it goes down to $20,000, will you follow it? I mean there's nothing wrong to ask, but relying on our answers isn't a good thing. Have your own decisions. Learn to read the markets. Learn a bit of TA so that you will at least know what's the good time to buy, because TBH, there's no such thing as "BEST TIME TO BUY". I can consider buying at $48,000 the best time, and many can consider buying at $40,000 the best time. It all depends on you.

It all depends on what percentage of the deposit you are now going to make a purchase with. If it's a small percentage, say 1-2%, then it's not a bad idea. If you want to buy bitcoin for at least 30-50% of your deposit, then I think that this is a rather risky undertaking. I believe that Bitcoin not only can fall, but it will actually fall and much more. Than most holders can imagine it. We haven't really fallen in a long time. And most likely we will update the 15K level, but not immediately, but over at least 1 year.

I understand that some people like the OP might need 2nd, 3rd and so on opinion just to make a little sure they are making a good entry point. Bitcoin has been appreciating it's value over the last decade, so I guess the most safest answer as to when will be the good time to buy is, everytime you see a dip or a correction will a good time to accumulate more bitcoin.

The price is now back above $40,000, a good entry point would have been exactly one year ago, in January 2023, when the price was $16,500. But these are 12 views, if you want to hold your bitcoin for a long time, then it is not wrong to buy bitcoin now. If you want to speculate in the short term, you can also do that with altcoins. It is not Rumor instead that is possibilities and if that happened together with other big guys

I wouldn't say that this is the best time to buy bitcoin but it sure is recommended to buy now because you never know if the price will suddenly go up again and never to touch the current bitcoin price but all things considered, do practice the DCA method when investing so you don't regret not buying a lot of bitcoins at the wrong time when the prices starts lowering again, no words of regret about how you should've waited a bit longer for the price to go down more to buy when you do DCA and at the same time, you can control how much you're putting into the market.

I think waiting for a little bit longer would be better and that's what I plan to do so because for me it is still too early. There is no enough confirmation yet for a bullrun and therefore, a price correction could still take place. The confirmations I am checking are higher rte of volatility, most of the projects are succeeding, and higher market volume for major coins in the market. A huge news will be also contributing to this like with the previous ones. Also, I do expect it to happen months after the halving itself. Nothing guarantees the right or perfect timing to buy but if you know to yourself thaat you can endure whatever direction the market goes right now, then investing at the moment would still be fine, and wait for things to again reach the previous ATH.

My take is for you to know your tolerance as an investor especially with loss. If ever you choose to invest right now, and a huge decline happened in the market, would you be able to be consistent of holding? The lowest price was March which I think was around 20k$ the drop last month wasn't probably a big drop the lowest I can remember was around 38k$ which is I think just a correction because of the ETF hype I think but there wasn't really any major drop since the market gain momentum when the price was around 20k$. Personally, I really expect the market price to drop even though the price is 42k$ which already gained a lot because just like I've said the market price was around 20k$ in March last year so we got x2 in almost a year which for sure is a great growth of momentum on the market, But at this time is where a lot of newcomers gain in into cryptocurrency so we could easily expect a lot of FUD in the market especially because of the Bitcoin halving event. Most of the traders are going to expect a huge price increase in the market if the Halving happened but in my opinion, just like in the past halving, there might be no movement or possibly just a huge drop after the event.
