Title: Why is there no child board for Bitcoin Core discussions? Post by: PytagoraZ on January 27, 2024, 01:50:04 AM I looked for a similar question but didn't find it, if there had been a similar discussion before then I would have locked it
A few days ago I started learning about Bitcoin Core and found it to be more complicated than the Electrum I was used to. I have a question about bitcoin core but I didn't find a child board about bitcoin core, why isn't there a dedicated board for bitcoin core? Even though Bitcoin Core is the main Bitcoin wallet Title: Re: Why is there no child board for Bitcoin Core discussions? Post by: Mia Chloe on January 27, 2024, 02:00:02 AM I think creating a Bitcoin core child board if it currently doesn't exist, would not be necessary because you can easily place that your question into Wallet software (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=37.0) or even Bitcoin Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=1.0) depending on the nature of your question.

Bitcoin Technical Support (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0). Development & Technical discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=6.0). Bitcoin Core is a most used Bitcoin wallet software for users and for Bitcoin node operators so maybe it can be ask in those boards directly. Other smaller wallets have their child boards. I suspect that before there was a child board, perhaps the board was intended for discussions about bitcoin core, but after there was a child board, it would be fairer if bitcoin core also had a special child board. Sorry, I just realized that "Bitcoin Technical Support" is a board specifically for bitcoin core, Because the description is "Questions regarding issues with Bitcoin Core, nodes, the Bitcoin network, transactions, and addresses" |
