Title: Experiences with Miner Hosting platforms
Post by: doubletheprof on February 08, 2024, 10:43:46 AM
Hey there, I recently stepped into the worlds of hosting crypto mining. I wanted to see experience from others, can you share which paltforms were you using and which are reliable? Iam using one right now, but I wanna know others too. :)

What did you meant by miner hosting platforms? Hope you are not referring to cloud mining sites? Know that they are giving you a premium offer to scam you. Do not pay them any money.

If you want to mine, do research about a miner and its electricity cost to know if bitcoin mining is for you. If you see it profitable, buy the miner and join a mining pool instead.

The Estonian government has approved the extradition of two founders of the crypto mining platform Hashflare, who are accused of operating a Ponzi scheme that fleeced $575 million from unsuspecting investors.

Ivan Turogin and Sergei Potapenko were arrested in Estonia’s capital Tallinn in November 2022, in a joint operation by the Estonian police and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). They face 18 counts of fraud and money laundering charges.

According to a Post Timees report, Tallinn Circuit Court initially blocked the attempt to extradite the duo because the Estonian government had failed to probe the conditions of the place where Turogin and Potapenko were to be held, among other things. However, the Estonian government through the Ministry of Justice has said it has gathered enough evidence as per the court ruling.

Hashflare was a good service, but it turns out they were scamming.
You DO NOT need cloud mining.

I actually visited the mining hosting platform's data center, and saw my miner up and running, so I verified before the investment, they actually provide that to a lot of people in Europe, so its kinda safe. I was happy that they let me check the data center to verify haha. The platfform that I was talking about was a platform that lets you manage your miner online in their hosting center.

It’s great that you are not associated with a cloud miner.
Write down your experience, which ASIC you bought and at what price and how much you pay for electricity and maintenance.
In Russia, mining hotels do not work with small miners, and do not allow them to enter the mining site due to safety reasons.
And there are risks when mining equipment can be confiscated, because there are no laws on mining in the country, which, according to some experts, ranks 2nd in the world.
