Title: What exactly do MtGox / Mark Karpeles want?
Post by: sobriket on March 29, 2014, 06:29:22 PM
I guess the idea of entering the civil rehabilitation procedure is to reopen the business in some form. The whole procedure, however, has been so opaque that it's quite unclear to me exactly what objectives he has. To my knowledge he's never actually stated he needs this time to 'find' lost coins (other than before the procedure application was made).

And for example, what exactly cued the postponing of the investigation report deadline? Was it reports of depositors' lawyers, or his own intention? (Anarchystar, in his latest newsletter, says it's likely the result of one or more of his letters, but I'm unsure)

I guess nobody really knows...

This is why it seems crucial to me that there should be at least some reliable representation of depositors, someone that is actually willing to share information with the public, at a next hearing. Last Friday has been a lost chance (and this loss of chance is highly suspicious imho).
