Generally if you want to buy Bitcoin then of course you can use the exchange to make the purchase.
You can use other exchanges such as Binance Exchange, KuCoin Exchange, here is the most suitable exchange medium for trading that you can do safely.

The topic title and the details of what you want are vague, as you need to customize more information such as the goods that can be traded, the available payment methods, fees, who will pay for it, how will the shipping be, or whether they are digital products.

Or do you mean that you want to trade cryptocurrencies? If this is what you mean, then you want to exchange, and then you need to allocate the appropriate fees.

Your post title and post content do not match. Are you looking to trade in Bitcoin?

If you want to trade bitcoins then you can easily buy bitcoins with those dollars by converting the currency USDT in your country from various exchanges. Moreover, the way you talk about trading with others, no one will believe you and no one will even trade like this.

This types of transaction often leads to scam where you have state with you want and another person will come exchange with you

or trade with you, there is no transparency here and besides why do you use the title "buying bitcoin" was it supposed to be so if I may ask you?

If you need to trade or buy bitcoin why not you visit bestchange to explore the best feature you needed instead of wanting to trade here.

LocalBitcoins was the website to go if you wanted to sell for cash a few years ago, but I wonder what is the new leading platform to do it nowadays.

As I have been told, there are groups on Telegram where people contact in order to meet and buy/sell BTC face-to-face, but I haven't proven it myself and I would advice you to be careful when you deal with strangers.

Why would I not use Binance because I have never been scammed from here till date. I have always seen Binance Exchange as a positive aspect because it is definitely the safest if you want to buy Bitcoins from here. And you can use other exchange mediums like Coin Exchange, ByBit Exchange etc. from here you can collect bitcoins in the safest way.
