If you had to invest 5x $1000 USD now, what would be your 5 coins (except ETH) to invest?

Investing $5,000 in cryptocurrency can be a good idea if you're new to the market. I've decided to put my money into Solana, Celestia, and Dymension. But hey, it's all about what works for you! Just remember to think about how each project might grow over time. Do some digging on the tech, the team behind it, and where it might go in the future. Finding projects with real potential could mean big returns down the road.

quite high 5x 1000$, if it doesn't rise like this I will invest in NEAR, Polygon, cosmos, Celestia and Solana, by staking all these tokens I can give 2x profits also by giving an airdrop of these coins

NEAR still worth investing after these massive pumps?

I advised someone close to me to invest in AVAX and so far he is making nice profit from it, side by side with Bitcoin investment. I read a month ago or so on this forum AVAX was a good alternative of investment, and heavily hyped by some institutional partnerships like Amazon, so I thought it should worth to give it a try. I still believe it has potential to deliver superior results by the end of the bull run, so it may be still a good idea to invest on it right now.

I wouldn't split 1000$ into 5 altcoins, though. I prefer to invest 90% in Bitcoin and only 10% in altcoins. Therefore, in this scenario, 4500$ in BTC and 500$ in altcoins.

My choice Cardano (ADA)

Technically speaking, I like UXTO, because it's right. But we really understand that with ADA we have more expectations about the fragile ecosystem, but will still maintain the stance that the upcoming bull season will see ADA continue to maintain its position and strong price increase.

Picks major coins in this "special bull run", do not waste the opportunity which only coming only before and after BTC halving.
If I were you, I will invest it on Sol, Link, Avax, Matic and Atom. But if you only invest for a short term then it will be wise to buy BTC or ETH.
Also check some of the projects/tokens with Sol network, and do not buy any new meme token.

5x is huge to profit in short time, it's hard to pick altcoins which will increase 5x in shortly. bitcoin and eth will never hit 5x from current price in short time,
i am trying to suggest from you list, 1.sol, 2.matic, 3.ada, 4.atom, 5.avax, 6.enj, and 7.near, but you should only invest in btc and eth to release your mental stress.

I didn't not vote because my choice of AltCoins where I invests or which I'd prefer to invest such amount of money  was not included in the above. But if I'm just asked what AltCoin I would go Invest such amount of money on then it'd be Eth and BnB and no other AltCoins.
I don't invests on AltCoins based on projects speculation.

i would choose Vechain among the 5 and most probably some other else like Doge and some AI projects that are not on the list. the AIs are pumping since i would still get in if i have the money to invest in them. FET for example hit $3 recently it would grow more in time when the altcoin season speeds up. there are certainly a lot of altcoins to choose from but these are the few that i would be holding till the bull run is almost over.

$5,000 is a huge amount for me, and if I had to invest 5x $1000 USD right now, I would choose.

Cardano (ADA)
Ripple (XRP)
Polkadot (DOT)
Binance (BNB)

I believe these five altcoins or projects will provide huge profits in the long term.
Unfortunately there is no Bitcoin or Ethereum, if both fall into your category I would just go with these two.

Solana (SOL): It rose sharply and now is the time for some correction.
XRP (XRP): Not a good investment and best avoided.
Cardano (ADA): It always claims that it will be an alternative to Ethereum, but they have not made good updates in recent years.
Shiba Inu (SHIB): Avoid them, they are a bad investment.

Good investments are:
Chainlink (LINK)
Polygon (MATIC)
Cosmos (ATOM)
But I don't think it's worth a $1000 investment.

Of course, the main thing is that Solana, BNB, BGB, Matic, Doge, these 5 coins will increase significantly in the future bull run, based on my personal research, these 5 coins have received positive sentiment from investors and the community itself, so that makes me want to buy this coin for Bullrun preparation, don't follow me, just do your own research

All the coins you mentioned in your poll are good for investment. Since you have said that if I have to invest $5000 in any five coins other than Ethereum, then my choice is Solana, Litecoin, BNB, Polkadot, Polygon.  Although my investments are in Ethereum and Bitcoin, I have not yet invested in any of the coins I mentioned except for these two coins. But I think altcoin bull season will get good profit from the coins.

You made a wrong poll voting. You said you needed 5 altcoins to invest $1k each and you only make an option for just a single coin. You also didn't consider if the coin I have in mind is not among the options you listed up there? My simple advice, look into good coins among the 50 projects on market cap and you are good to go because they are nor safer than coins below 100 place in the market cap.

Here is my wish list of altcoins I will like to invest.
1. FTM: This coins was one of the best altcoins of their previous bull run but some how, the multi-chain bridge control by another team was hacked which led to investors to lost over $130m but the team are working with court to get back their lock coins and stable coins and with some new updates about the project and some airdrop.

2. SUI: This coin is a new altcoin that has not experienced bull run before and it has a solid team that are working tirelessly to improve scalability of the chain. Here are the rest of the coins I think you might need.

3. Near protocol.
4. Injective protocol.
5. Rune

From the options in the poll I would invest in Solana, Dogecoin, Chainlink, Shiba Inu & XLM. I just feel like those five tokens have a really good chance of returning big profits in the pending bull market. Solana has real potential, initially it was branded as the Eth killer. It could pump hard soon. Doge always does well when Bitcoin pumps. Link & Shib have high price ceilings & XLM should perform well.

I can see that dodge and solana has already started winning the vote, if I had 5000$ then I'm sure not wasting it on any alternate cryptocurrency instead ill invest all of then in bitcoin, I am most likely to get bigger returns from there and I have less to worry about the risk.

Although I think my best picks for altcoins would be monero, Ethereum, BNB, dodge and tron. I guess thses few have Bern around long enough.

A thousand dollar each is quite a very big amount that I would have love to use and increase my stash in Bitcoin but I would go for the 5 below if that's an option for me;

Here will be my options because I don't like most of the coins in the market not for any other reason but because I don't feel like buying them ven if I have a whole lot of money (extra) cash to invest.

The coins that I recommend have not risen too high compared to their lowest price in 2023 so the potential for high prices is still there.

I’ll take the risk in buying SOL and XRP, and will also have a budget for the meme tokens as the hype is also with them.

The market is getting better now, and I see altcoins as a better options now to invest with so you can earn more compare if you will invest with Bitcoin.

Choose the best altcoins and don’t just settle for the hype, try to analyze the trend as well.

There are so many altcoins in the market which you can put the fund and make good earnings without you having to think too much.
Matic token is one of the good altcoin in the market you need to hold for the moon.
You can also go for Shiba Inu, Doge coin, Memeland and many more that will surely give you reasonable profits in the market.
Make sure you do your own research before you invest in anything.

Solana is the very first coin I would invest on, followed by Avalanche, Polygon, XRP and Shiba. Solana project has the ability to pump very well in this bull market and that's also the opportunity that Polygon have. I love the both projects more.

Based on the coins offered, I will choose SOL, XRP, ADA, LINK, and MATIC. However, I feel that it is a very good coin and has high upside potential in the future. Although coins like XRP have a slow rate of increase, I believe that XRP will have a high price. It would actually be better to include ETH and BNB in the portfolio, but since the OP didn't give that option, I think I'll just go with what he mentioned.

well there are certainly rumour that XRP is looking for ETF but I guess its a stretch to say that they gonna get it soon or at least get approved because the ongoing lawsuit personally I would exclude XRP from your list and its already a good list.
personally though since my risk tolerance is kinda high with investment i will eliminates ADA and LINK from my investment and replace it with newer investment like MANTA and STRK these are probably better so the list made up of SOL, XRP, MANTA, STRK, and MATIC and thats already awesome enough in my opinion.
one thing though, some of the coin mentioned might already be reaching their all time high so thats that, since usually after all time high the increase gonna be slowing down.
so therefore finding new coin that is still on its early stage is gonna be a great idea when it comes to investment since they have bigger chance of becoming the next big thing that could overtake many coins out there.

Currently all the coins in the crypto currency market have made their price correction but there are some coins like XRP which could not make the price correction till now. But there is no possibility of XRP market growth until next XRP ETF so if I am asked to keep $5000 in my portfolio and invest in five projects then I will invest in following projects.

Among the alt coins, the best coin to invest in is (ETH). Ethereum is the most trusted alt coin. However, since you asked to invest $5000 in 5 projects other than Ethereum. Anyway, BNB, SOL, ENJ, MATIC, ADA, will choose these 5 coins. However, if I had $5000 dollars, I wouldn't invest the entire amount in alt coins. I used to invest mostly in bitcoins, a small amount in altcoins.

Go through important points and earn oneself to be more stable and strong in the market. Out of the mentioned altcoins, I'm only sticking to investing withe ETH and BNB because they've been in the space and their movement depend mostly with Bitcoin. $5k is huge figure and spending them all on solid and dormant projects is never a wise decision, rather there are more complex level of hitting harder in the system. These are altcoins and most of them listed out are no longer promising based on the new projects swinging into the system every single day.

Finding projects with great potential is the biggest challenge for anyone entering the cryptocurrency market because the market has become highly saturated and among all the projects available and new projects launching every day, you barely understand which projects you should choose for your investments so that you don't lose your money and also get some profit in return for your investment.

Knowledge about the market is a necessity for anyone getting into cryptocurrency trading because without it, your capital would be gone in no time as you would find projects promising great futures and luring you into making investments and then running away with the funds days after that.

$200 is enough money to net 1 altcoin besides the king yes, so my choice is Solana, matic, Doge, Ada, Xrp. by the way why don't you add it right tron(trx) or bnb?

I understand and I assume you want to invest in coins with low prices, good fundamentals and many communities that use them on a daily basis, that's wise. I only answer based on my daily needs in using altcoins and some of them I save for one day if I really need it.

My advice is that $200 you can dca each coin when there is a correction, it can increase your decimal amount more and adjust to your analysis, we are both trading and saving but the profit in buying I think each will be different and enjoy your day.

I will just concentrate on bitcoin because I'm sure investing this amount of money in Bitcoin in this bull run one will have good profit. Bitcoin is the safest crypto to think about for investment,  apart from ethereum I don't think I will have any mind to go into other cryptocurrencies for investment because this is a time one needs  to be careful with investment . It is better to invest in something that is very reliable.

You have 5K dollars you invest in 5 to 10 coins but according to me if you have 5K dollars you can invest 1K dollars in 5 coins I can tell you these coins  -

Polygon, ICP, RNDR, LINK, XRP can be my top 5 coins this season because of their unique use cases and demands in the market. It doesn't make sense to invest in 5 projects that have the same usecase in the industry. From this 5 project polygon is the best layer 2 of ETH, ICP provide decentralized storage solution, RNDR for decentralized computing, Link CCIP is something new in the market which can be used for cross chain messaging, XRP has an infrastructure that can be used to develop a payment network.
