Wetin go happen now, if person lost all access to him wallet. Imagine say, due to flood, crisis, fire, theft , person lost in wallet phrase, phone, laptop, drive or books or whatever related to your wallet recovery and safety.

For many area for the world , e get places wey dey always experience extreme weather condition such as heavy rain and flood, fire outbreaks, tornado, war and other situation.
If person lost all access wetin e go do. Make I ask you, wetin you go do for such situation.

As I just dey read this post laug won finish me, Oga just pack your load run because if you mistakenly loss your recovery seed phrase there is nothing you can do to recover your Bitcoin again.

When you dey backup your seed phrase, e dey advisable to make multiple backups and to keep am for different locations. By multiple backups, I no mean say both of them go dey the same building, if possible store am for different states. So if you lost your device or one location of your seed phrase to fire outbreak, flood, tornado, tsunami etc, the other one go dey safe. It depends on where you saved your phrases, some people do  copy it on a book or save in their phones but I think it's not efficient for maximum safety. Personally I would prefer saving it in one of my personal gmail not disclosed and always logged of from any gadget, to avoid compromising from any sources.

This is an interesting question but many would trash it believing it is impossible for such to happen.
Anyways @ OP, in such situation like this there is just nothing you can do.
There is no sympathy alternative retrieval for you but if you have your password of hand yes you can still have access to your wallet using another device even though you don't have your seed phrase keys.

So if you could have access to your email account you can as much retrieve your wallet after all the crisis or disasters.

If you lose access to your wallet, then everything is gone, there is no way you can access the wallet again. Things wey u mention above fit happen at any time time, na why when we dey back up your private key, make sure say u no put am for only one place, because if anything do that only one wey u get, then you don lose access to your coin be that.

Oga you no go fit recover your bitcoin if you no get your seed phrase, this kind of matter you suppose to take an very serious, or unless say you no get 1 naira for inside your wallet.

When storing your wallet recovery phrase, it is advisable not to store it only in one place. You can have multiple places where you can write it down and hide it. You can store it in up to 5 different places and there is no way you can lost all of it at once. Like me what I did was to write my own down in my diary and I use to read it like a book every morning and night, two months later I realized that I have memorized the recovery phrases and I can write them down in the order it is when given pen and paper. This is another option I have and there is no way I can lose that one too. Apart from that I have my phrase well stored in multiple places where only me can access it.

OP mentioned a volcano any you still say the solution should be to buy yam and burry it on the ground, now burry the yam for what reason? If fired can melt an iron what is just a yam or what ever? You've said all the necessary accordingly @sokani but can we also the other way consider if we also stores our seed phrase online as alternative after some hardwares storage unit, it could also help us recover those phrases in as much we could have access to our daily Internet accounts. I believe we usually memorizes our social internet accounts that we could get access to it whenever we wanted maybe on the facts that the passwords are very brief to capture.
If not for the risk that we could be hacked and get lost of our social accounts accesses these would had been a best option for a scenero like this because the above being mentioned can also be victimized if those disasters can take place.
The reality truth is that in some cases when we misses to do the right thing, then there's just nothing we can do and no remedy to wake the dead after death.

Baba you funny how you go get money for wallet and you no go get better place wey you go save your money, everything suppose Dey secured well it depends on how much you get and how serious you take am, Omo if you really get money for wallet even though say flood carry everything you no suppose lost your money for wallet, you get email Abi? If you wan save very large amount of asset, it is recommended that you buy a hardware wallet, but if you just like to save small asset for the main time, then use a non-custodial wallet, either mobile or desktop version.
