Title: Need advise.Doge transaction has no hash, money went no where, can't send again.
Post by: AHOYBRAUSE on March 13, 2024, 12:57:20 PM
Guys I need your help.

Over 1 hour ago I made a doge transaction at trust wallet.
After it took a while to confirm I clicked  the hash link in the trust wallet and it basically leads to an empty transaction: https://blockchair.com/dogecoin/transaction/9eee2ecaedb8e154ae273325af10eb7094df1af1abfe0947f0ae2419621a66cc
Also when you enter the hash at blockchair it says the transaction doesn't exist.

I also can't make a new transaction with the money which is still shown in the trustwallet app because when I try it says there is a pending transaction.

When I check my address it says the doge is still on it , 440 Doge to be exact. Thought if I import the wallet somewhere else  will work but it shows 0 balance on doge at the new wallet because the money is in this empty transaction that has a non working hash.

This is the wallet: https://blockchair.com/dogecoin/address/DQ1az1kTVrJXgsatXKKsy9dfbcNhiVKPyZ

Would be nice if anybody has an idea what to do here.

I actually check the transaction using the hash here (https://live.blockcypher.com/doge/tx/9eee2ecaedb8e154ae273325af10eb7094df1af1abfe0947f0ae2419621a66cc/) it say the transaction is still pending as there is yet to be any confirmation yet, as you can see the transaction is headed to this address; DSXj5JYmHKjWW5j7TsXzKVVZ8xrqaNL8KC so if that’s the right address then I will say you should exercise a little Patience and to get a confirmation.

What I can say is maybe the dogecoin doesn’t allow features like CPFP or RBF that we have on bitcoin network

Thanks for the link. I should have checked there myself as well.
Still it is so strange that blockchair doesn't show anything, isn't it?

Stupid trustwallet for using such a tiny fee without giving the possibility to increase it manually. Didn't imagine there would be an issue.
I have checked online and it seems there is no way to increase the fee after it has been sent already. Just my luck.

There's no other way than to wait until your transaction gets confirmation with that small fee, I tried diving into the Dogecoin reddit page and found a  solution, but I don't know for sure whether this method will work or not, you can try it yourself.

If that method doesn't solve your problem, we have to go back to the initial statement that you have to wait for confirmation.
