Title: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Wiwo on March 13, 2024, 04:51:03 PM I thought that this thread is necessary at this point to address a number of things as regards to Fed war against centralized exchanges in Nigeria and what we as forum members should know that will help our motivation level, and also help us keep track with emerging technologies like Bitcoin and keeping trend on without losing focus.
This may as well be a wake up call for us not to keep our money on centralized exchange but in our wallet with private key seven which we can restore anytime on any wallet apps. Point is that, alot have been going on, and so many fuds and fomos have overwhelmed the cryptocurrency space in Nigeria most times this crisis has burned out our motivations to keep pushing for our goal which is to become one of the world's top cryptocurrency adopters and users, even though records already have that, but the action of the various government through the CBN have constantly killed our motivations and drag back developments in that regards. But here to let you know that giving up is not an option because you will only have yourself to blame if you allow this CBN naira crisis to border you or burn out your motivations. The cryptocurrency space has nothing to do with the government and only exchanges do, so I advise you to continue to keep building and never allow all the fake news and blog posts to eat up your time and energy, just focus on your Bitcoin accumulation and pay less attention to the news. Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Churchillvv on March 13, 2024, 06:28:14 PM Your concept of motivation to Nigeria local board is a good idea but perhaps from my perspective I even notice a more increase I. the crypto space than ever, since the crisis between the federal government of Nigeria and binance a lot of people have seem to have more interest in the cryptocurrency than before because they have come to realize that Nigeria government can't put hands in anything that doesn't profit so they have looked into it to find out how profit is being made in it.
Anyways, I personally im delighted to see how much increase is in the local board and a faster solution that has been brought in order to keep our concerns in flow, binance as an exchange has not had any effect on the local board because of the rapid solution seeking. On the other hands, motivation is just a driver of success in any sector but self discipline is the really deal. ones a person is self discipline enough to take action and do whatever it is that is expected of him then success is inevitable. Hence Nigerians should keep up with a good work and let's make a significant difference in the world from the cryptosphere but locally and and international. Na really good thing to encourage our crypto community for we country naija, but to me, e no dy necessary, because anybody wey don zero him mind say him one use this crypto make money no surpose lose hope, besides a true Nigeria never surrenders, I believe say government no go fit shut us out completely even if them want, because we get naija blood, we are rank among nations with the top IQ's in the world, if our government dy do humans development and investment, we for dy compete with the very best around the world, so I believe say we go find a way around am even if them try, so as e be so, na person wey give up nai lose, because no need to give up. Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: DubemIfedigbo001 on March 13, 2024, 08:10:48 PM When I take a look at the struggles of the fed to discourage and destabilize crypto activities in the country. I just wave it of as just another bluff from them. YES, the feds are bluffing seriously, like what do they expect?. They've made the country's habitation unbearable for the citizens and their centralized fiat less valuable. People have found a Messiah in crypto, especially bitcoin which is a store of value. Attacking exchanges will not end the use of crypto currency in the country, it will only make the users opt for other means of transactions like using other currencies and receiving funds in other financial institutions, converting it to Naira and withdrawing to their local banks. Funny enough, they can only attack centralized exchanges, not decentralized wallets, so they can only try, but never win.
They're fighting bitcoin which is bigger than them, I see their blindness and it amazes me how they fight what they would've turned into an opportunity to making serious gains from crypto activities in the country. Just look at ElSavador were boasting that they've already recorded over 40% gain in their holdings. Crypto is the future of money, and any positive feature that alleviates us citizens from government oppression is readily welcome. Crypto has come to stay whether they like it or not. The earlier they understand this, the better for them. The more they fight it, the more popular it is and the more the adoption in the country because everyone is trying to understand their fight with Binance recently, even crypto illiterates are now having a peak into crypto owing to recent developments. We dey 19 steps ahead of the government before them think one we the young bitcoin enthusiast done think 19 things. If them remove Binance, we still get 99 others. We no shake . We dey kampke. DubemIfedigbo001 Barikui1 Churchillvv You all have done well and also helped to show the overall feelings of the Naija cryptocurrency community, great to see and know that you guys never pay attention to mainstream and blog news which are most times fake news all with attempts to create panic within the 9ja cryptocurrency community. Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Mate2237 on March 13, 2024, 10:12:27 PM Federal Government in Nigeria is fighting a war without fruitful. I also read a news that Tinubu gives conditions to Binance before releasing their official. And the conditions says Binance has to provide top 100 users of Binance in the country before they will release the office and that has been on the table for discussion for days now but no good results as come out from the two parties. One thing Nigeria Government don't know about the cryptocurrency ecosystem world is that, if Binance release those name then the trust people have in Binance has been breached and the Reputation would reduce. Because the law of cryptocurrency is that even though you ask your customer KYC you are not to give your customers information to anyone. And once you do then other countries users will also see what happens so it will reduce their population of users.
And yes it not because what happened to Binance exchange that I go de-motivated to use bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. There are different ways one can use bitcoin or transact with it. We are still waiting for the real p2p with bitcoin. Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Obim34 on March 13, 2024, 11:35:16 PM Your advise and motivation is sincerely what we need now at this current state, let the government be aware their opinions and matter on ground dose not limit us in our Bitcoin journey.
The painful part about all this Fed fight is that atmost nothing we can fully beat our chest, on the outcome of all these restrictions, it shows there maybe more motive for them carrying out such actions. I believe at one door close, the other opens. Nigerians are smart enough no matter how they try compromising everything, we still smart enough to scale through. I don't even see any reason why federal government action on binance P2P should affect our cryptocurrency journey. Whoever that is long on this cryptocurrency should know better that this system doesn't care about any government fucking decisions because blockchain technology is unstoppable. For those that think all hope is gone there are many cex exchanges that is well functional and still active like I will always say kucoin is much well active. If where to buy coin is difficult for any body, they can buy coin from kucoin centralised exchange, and send to any DEX exchange and store for future use. No matter how government behaves or the law given to it citizens, it will never affect Dex exchange like metamask, trust wallet or even electrum wallet so lets not use because of their policy on binance and forget that there are many safer option .Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Promocodeudo on March 14, 2024, 08:56:51 PM I thought that this thread is necessary at this point to address a number of things as regards to Fed war against centralized exchanges in Nigeria and what we as forum members should know that will help our motivation level, and also help us keep track with emerging technologies like Bitcoin and keeping trend on without losing focus. Am very happy that people like you are here, this thread is very necessary because many of us has been a victim of this happenings but we keep moving without being discouraged, though the crypto market is an option and individuals are free to decide on the path to take, as for me I have chosen bitcoin no matter what, what really matter is the knowledge that we are accumulating everyday as days goes by. Nigeria government can not deter us from doing the needful as we always do, it is obvious that innovation are not welcomed in Nigeria and we dont need to bother ourself with the poor mindset of our leaders because there is always a way out of this situation which is making a choice on the best exchange to work with if is necessary. Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Makus on March 15, 2024, 06:16:21 PM Who give up naim loose guard oo, because las las na you go regret why you give up for this small issue. Besides na just binance naim our government don focus for this period and we hope make e no spread to other exchange. But even if binance no come back again other exchange dey wey you fit use take swap your fiat to coin or vice versa. And the main thing na besay, we get very secure wallets to save our fund so make this binance exchange matter no discourage you to forget say p2p still dey alive, if you get trusted vendor, you no go get any issue even when things get as e be, na only rates naim go low.

Based on the text that in written is bold, Binance will not do such a thing because the Federal government didn't come in a peaceful way to do business with Binance, but rather they used a violent way to address them by locking them up. Since Binance didn't accept to pay the sum that they requested, which means Binance is not going to reveal any names to them. This is why I said the government is showing their incompetency as a leader. If they wanted those names, of course they can get the names assuming they did not treat those Binance officials in a harsh way. When one door is locked, the other one is opened. I believe that some newbies here don't know that there are other good exchanges ou there, but due to what happened to Binance, they have known other reputable exchanges. Government no fit help us, so nobody go give up on cryptocurrency. I don’t expect any crypto enthusiasts to be moved that much from this news as long as they’re playing save and are not violating any rules set aside by the government on cryptocurrency use in the country. I just see this as a way by the government to make people feel or think that they’re really working towards stabilising the economy through this measure of clamping down on crypto exchanges which is just a minimal measure taken by them and won’t last for long. As a youth passionate about cryptocurrency, keep your heads high and focus towards making your dreams come true through the path you see to be deem fit of it happening. The government shouldn’t allow you forget your dream in the name of lost faith in them. Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: Y3shot on March 21, 2024, 11:23:00 PM For exchange to have a disagreement with the federal government this is to tell that the exchange is not the best place to store your bitcoin and people needs to also understand that the federal government having issues with exchange has nothing to do bitcoin. This should not let people to lose interest on bitcoin. Nobody can stop bitcoin because it is decentralized, it is beyond human control. It is only things that centralized that the government can have influence over.
Title: Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria Post by: 7juju on March 22, 2024, 06:25:41 AM For me bitcoin has faced more prosecution from the global scale and it never stopped bitcoin from rampaging forward. I know at some point it is demoralizing but I refuse to be demoralized because of what few individuals are doing just for their own selfish gain and not for the interest of the masses. This is the more reason I will continue in my bitcoin accumulation, because nobody attacks what does not have value and most importantly now that Nigeria government are trying to frustrate the Nigerian bitcoin community, because whatever this our government attack is something that has potentials.

It's just been few weeks after they took the whole crypto thing on their head and we can't hear anything from them again. Don't be surprised that with time, binance with function 100% in this country with zero regulation and almost everyone will forget about this whole season. Our people has this provide that water uses several sources to cover sea shores and that's what's happening in the Nigerian crypto space. Their are several alternative exchange outside of finance and they might have succeeded it regulating binance to the best of their strength but we still continue accumulating and increasing our portfolio regardless. |
