I don't use Bitget but exchanges nowadays allow users to withdraw cryptocurrency cross-chain so make sure at Bitget, when you submit your withdrawal with Litecoin, you must do as follows.

Paste your Litecoin LTC address from Coinbase, make sure it is address on LTC blockchain.
Choose LTC as the network blockchain on Bitget.
Then submit your amount for withdrawal.

I believe it will work for you, if Bitget withdrawal actually works.

It should be related with your KYC, check your Bitget accounts, it's either you're not yet submit your personal information or the exchange reject your personal information.

AFAIK Litecoin have 3 different address types (L, M, and ltc1) and each of them are compatible, so it's not related with the address type.

Maybe check your account and its 2 factor authentication (if you have any) and if it is relating to the other account.

Have you tried copying and then pasting on a different exchange?
Maybe there is a character that you keep accidentally adding in and that is why the address keeps
on being called invalid. Double check everything in your screen and make sure that you are inputting all
the correct information.

They probably don't support the address format in question.

Techinically, it's possible to send from legacy to segwit (including native segwit) address or vice versa, however bitget is a fully centralized and custodial exchange. Their platform, their rules, thus they can always choose not to bother with some updates.

Similar happened to bitcoin, it took some time for a lot of exchanges to support segwit addresses particularly native segwit addresses (bc1). LTC also has two types of segwit addresses: P2SH (starts with M) and native segwit (starts with ltc1).

The first thing you must ask is the support for you to know the actual reason why you're getting this. As for the format, it's likely what that 'address' is specifying.
But if the address that you have from Coinbase is right and you just pasted it on your bitget account then it should be fine. So, if you can't give more details or what's the actual address you've used then ask the support for further information of that error message.

All possibilities were detailed in the previous comments, and contacting support is the best way to find out the reason.
What I would like to say is why not use your own address to receive withdrawals from any exchange before transferring them to another platform? I know that the process will cost time and transfer fees, but since you are using Litecoin, this will not cost you anything. This step is important to avoid any problems that may occur due to linking addresses of different platforms in one transaction. Some platforms can determine the source of the address if it is issued by an exchange. Other times, the problem is solved by making a refund to the same sender address. They are all possible possibilities.

I expect that you resorted to Litecoin for low withdrawal fees, but you must know the basics of dealing with the network.

Some exchanges doesn't allow withdrawals to addresses straight away, you need to add the address you wish to transfer into the address book then you might be added to authenticate via SMS or authenticator code then the address will be added then only you can make withdrawal to that address. Bitget probably follows that method and you can check their Faqs page to know more about it.

Withdrawal and transactions are very low in Litecoin, so why do you not use a vineyard address as you withdraw to it and then you send from that address to Coinbase.
Frankly, I see that newbies' topics about Bitget are indirect promotion, so I hope that this is not the real reason for this topic.

They're everywhere but it seems that it's becoming a popular exchange so let's give the benefit of the doubt when some newbies mention it that they want to trade there.

@op 1 month has passed and you have never replied even a single reply on this thread you've made.
