Hello all, Anyone starting with BTC this year, doesn't have the great opportunities from the past. It is not to late, but how do I get established with BTC and the community? Where to start that isn't just following everyone else, or too new for anyone to pay attention?

Welcome to Bitcointalk. There is no bigger Bitcoin community than this. It’s not too late to start investing in Bitcoin. Before you start purchasing Bitcoin, I recommend you look into the fundamentals of Bitcoin and how it works. There are some guides and books that will help you:

Hello all, Anyone starting with BTC this year, doesn't have the great opportunities from the past. It is not to late, but how do I get established with BTC and the community? Where to start that isn't just following everyone else, or too new for anyone to pay attention?

The easy answer is just to start doing it, start now your not actually going to actually understand it completely unless you have experienced it already. It's a good thing that you are already here in the forum where there are a lot of members who could easily help you get started on cryptocurrency, there are a lot of threads here on how to start buying and investing in cryptocurrency, I recommend starting buying and investing already and on your way in case, you encounter problem you could easily ask someone here the forum, there are plenty of experience member here in the forum that could easily help you.

It is never too late to start investing, there are so many opportunities in the market where you could easily make a huge amount of profit, you just need to do it and find it, you could easily start with a small amount DCA is already popular to a lot of traders because you could easily start at whatever amount that you have, start buying around 5% of your salary put it on Bitcoin every month or week something like that then just do that until you accumulate a certain amount.

You could also start exploring some things where you could possibly make some money, you could try altcoins in the market, leverage trading, futures trading, stock trading, etc. As long as you know your limits and do it in moderation you could possibly make good money and lower you risk at the same time.

Well, as they say, better late than never. You could have much better opportunities, it's true, if you had joined last year, but you are still not too late in my opinion because what we see in the market right now is a pre-bull run which means that we are yet to have the halving event but Bitcoin managed to hit a new all-time high before it to surprise the world.
So, the current situation is that it is correcting itself, we don't know where it might go to but it is declining as of now, so maybe you should start buying in portions to accumulate some of it before the halving event and then we might see some action coming in.

Every moment can be invested because Bitcoin is a reliable digital currency. You may be thinking that now is not the time to invest in Bitcoin but I would say that if you invest in Bitcoin with a long term plan then you always have opportunities.  The market may be in a very good position now, from this position you may be thinking that if you can invest now, then the market may dump later, but something contrary to your idea may happen. Since the market was already pumping, we had a negative idea that the market might dump but that idea did not come true rather the opposite happened and the market gradually increased. If you invest now then the price of Bitcoin may increase further in future and it is more likely so if you have enough investment opportunities you can invest at this time of year.

Just pay attention to your own accumulation at this rate. Because in such communities, not here, maybe somewhere you may land or will discover. There will be a lot of discouragement to you that they'd tell you gains aren't going to be great and you're already too late in the game. You know, such words like that which won't force your enthusiasm but instead they will shill you out some altcoins and tokens and memes that they've invested. With this, you'll focus on your own asset and you only have to read news, speculations and even if they're bad or negative then only take those positive ones that are going to be helpful with your DCA.

Start with researching those information's you are curious with since for sure there are lots of answer of the questions in your mind then try to digest it so for you to understand certain topic that can help you grow. Also search for better programs which you think can help you earn and if you are not sure about everything you want to try then try to ask something in this forum and for sure there are lots of people will give an advice about what is more better to do and if you should avoid doing those programs since either you are just wasting your time or that is scam.

Remember that starting up will be tough but if you are so eager to learn and can able to do a lot of research for sure everything will go fine in your side and you can grow with that as long as you show to people that you are willing to learn and also became adaptive on some changes that might happen in the scene.

If you want to get basic knowledge about Bitcoin then hopefully you can learn it from this forum. Moreover, you can find various content related to Bitcoin by searching on Google or YouTube which will help you to gain basic knowledge of Bitcoin.

If you have basic knowledge about investing then you can immediately start investing in your Bitcoin with any amount. I think you should invest in Bitcoin every moment rather than waiting for the best time to invest in Bitcoin for that you can choose DCA method to invest in Bitcoin. Currently the market condition is slightly crushed due to which the price of Bitcoin has decreased slightly. One of the best opportunities for those who have long-term plans to invest in Bitcoin is if they buy Bitcoin at this price and hold it for a long time. The benefit of holding Bitcoin long-term is that when someone buys Bitcoin at a low price, if the price of Bitcoin goes up, he makes a lot of profit from it.

If there's to blame with that spreading of information and mindset, those are the influencers that have been paid to do that because there are projects that want them to advertise and they receive hefty amount of money from doing so. And not just about the fee that they get for shilling it, they're possible offered for some commissions based on the sales that they'd drive onto that project. For that reason, many influencers don't mind the sake of their audience as long as they make money, they receive commissions and fees and stuff to make their pockets full in return of the loss of their viewers that seem to believe everything they say.

Welcome to the forum, it's the best place for you to start with Bitcoin. if you want to be established member of this community then you'll have to learn about Bitcoin. I suggest you to read topics of Bitcoin discussion, Beginners & Help, and Speculation board.

Those boards contain enough information about Bitcoin and once you have learnt basic information about Bitcoin then you can create your own threads and ask about the aspects of Bitcoin that you don't understand by reading other posts.

Overtime, you'll start getting better and better and if you start contributing good information then other members will appreciate your posts with merits. In order to rank on this forum you'll have to earn merits. Those members who make helpful posts get the merits which will help them to rank up. You can learn more about ranks and merits by reading this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0).

Start at your own pace if you want to learn with Bitcoin you need to invest time and effort of course, by the way, welcome to the forum, and you are in the right community because related to Bitcoin this is the other source of information you can learn can be the trend, news, trading, services, etc. So now it's up to you where you will focus on those learnings. Sometimes you want to earn as much as possible like the others but you don't see their process before having those earnings in BTC so the same way on your journey. Keep yourself prepared first making taking the risk.

Everyone can relate to you as we all started here from a scratch. However, I suggest know the forum first and explore. Study and always make an extensive research. With that, you will learn bitcoin a lot in the long run. Most particularly if you are here to learn investing, then do not hesitate to ask the forum members as they’re here to assist you. Eventually, you will learn from the experiences of the rest of the members.

No one gets late with bitcoin. But if you keep procrastinating, I bet you will definitely miss a lot of opportunities. While the opportunity to invest is on hand, start buying now and hold it patiently. As long as you are putting  an amount you can easily afford to lose, then everything will be fine.

As I type this I can see people have already shared the links you need to refer in order to understand the basics which is very important. It's never too late to enter Bitcoin but it rather depends how does you want to be associated with Bitcoin, either a long term investor, short term or day trader. If you are looking for long term most of the people would say you don't have to bother about the price but I would say this is the perfect condition to enter if you are daily trader as there is a lot of volatility in the market you can easily scalp but for long term you may wait for price to settle down as we may see bigger correction either during halving or post bull run that would be best period to enter as your profits will be multiplied more if you enter at lower price.

You should start at learning first before you buy BTC. For the community is you have to post or join discussions and contribute in this forum. You should also read the pinned threads in each forum board especially meta and beginners and help boards because that's where you'll find the forum rules ans other information that is important. If you have problem you can create a thread just like tbis and ask your question then many forum members will answer it.

Why you mentioned opportunity from the past if you are not part of that past, and just as you think that there have been opportunity in the past so it was with the risk and challenges of the past, so as a newbies I advice you to be focused on self development discipline instead of getting overly concerned with lost opportunities which in most cases only exited in your head and based on just assumption or stereotypes.
You are still on time and better you here now, so pick up and get started no matter how little you can and where you are, the journey is a long one so complains will only drain your motivation and energy for the race ahead.

Their is always opportunity I bitcoin and it is never late to invest in bitcoin.  But I will advice you, before you go into bitcoin you need to try your best to have a good understanding of bitcoin. Some not just think of making money in Bitcoin,  Bitcoin is easy and interesting when their is a good understanding about it. Bitcoin is volatile which can be very risky especially for people who don't understand the volatility of the market.

So, I will advice you for you to take your time to understand bitcoin well and not to rush it just because of the profit that is involved.  When people don't understand bitcoin very well they found it very Challenging to invest bitcoin successfully because their main interest is just to make profit from Bitcoin.

The start should always be understanding Bitcoin. Only after understanding Bitcoin that you decide whether it is worth buying or not. Should you decide to buy, forget about the past because there's no way we can bring it back. Focus on the future instead, the longer future. Hodl is the key especially at this point when the price of Bitcoin is already high. There's still a lot of room to grow, so just make sure you're hodling Bitcoin in a storage that you and you alone are in full control.

I believe OP must have heard about Bitcoin being lucrative and good to invest in. This is not all about BTC. It can as well be a risky investment. Hodling and learning to cope with the market during the bear season is what OP should learn. Understand this and you are good to go.

Bitcoin investment is never to late, but when you are investing, I will recommend you do your own research before investing, don’t invest just because of what people say, make sure you take your time to do your own research. Just make sure you read and ask questions about bitcoin, ask questions about things that you don’t understand be for investing, and also you should know that no matter your rank, people are going to give you attention, if the question which you ask is reasonable, so don’t think because your account is new, they won’t value you.

Hello all, Anyone starting with BTC this year, doesn't have the great opportunities from the past. It is not to late, but how do I get established with BTC and the community? Where to start that isn't just following everyone else, or too new for anyone to pay attention?

First, to get established with BTC you need to either have fund to buy BTC and DCA if possible, or look for a BTC-paying job or offer services or goods in exchange of BTC.  When it comes to establishing your presence in the community, all you need is to be actively participate in the discussion.

For a starter, you can read the pinned topic on this board and in this board:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0.  Make sure to understand what is stated on each pinned message and if you have some confusion, you can always ask the community and I am sure many members here are willing to give you their thought about the subject matter.

The start should always be understanding Bitcoin. Only after understanding Bitcoin that you decide whether it is worth buying or not. Should you decide to buy, forget about the past because there's no way we can bring it back. Focus on the future instead, the longer future. @OP is asking how to established with BTC, and the only way to get established with BTC is to have a holding of it through buying or working and have BTC as payment or sell items that accept BTC as payment.  I agree that understanding Bitcoin is very important first step, but he will never establish his BTC venture without having BTC in his portfolio.

I think one doesn't automatically get established with BTC by simply having BTC. Having exposure to BTC doesn't necessarily mean you're established with BTC. The way I understood OP's question, he/she seems to be asking how to dive deep into "BTC and the community." Establish denotes a certain level of firmness or permanence.

I know of a number of people who don't really understand BTC but they're exposed to it one way or another. One hasn't even heard of Satoshi Nakamoto or of Lightning. I don't think they're established with "BTC and the community."

Its never too late for anyone to begin from somewhere in bitcoin, we don't have to tarry waiting for better chances to come, this may actually be the best we could have waited to see and missing on such opportunity will be disheartening upon us not to have utilize it for an investment, some times, what looks like it may not really be it, if we are not liable to take risk and invest by starting from somewhere, we may remain same way and keep watching several opportunities passing by.

It also need a proper participation on any public forum since they can learn a lot of knowledge about bitcoin and crypto if they are actively engaging with community and learn something new that they can apply either on their trading career or on investment side.

For sure once they learn a lot of things about bitcoin there will be something on their side that they will be challenge to learn more since there are exchange on the effort they made which is they can earn a sustainable profit in future that can possibly help to change their lifestyle in good way.

You can start as you have done, by creating good topics like this one where you ask sincere questions about whatever bothers you on the subject of Bitcoin.
Although I think there's boards specifically for talking about other cryptocurrencies here and other interesting things that may concern politics, soccer, off topic and the likes.

By expressing yourself more, you will learn faster and better and even be known about.
