Not that wallets or providers do not allow double spend after 1 confirmation, it is in bitcoin protocol that does not allow it. According to that guide also, Blockchain.com can make double spend after 1 confirmation but which is also wrong. Blockchain.com do not even has RBF at all. It is a close source wallet.


The guide is to promote 1xbit which we tell people not to use.

The article is even more about RBF but I was unable to fully read it as what I was reading there has already pissed me off from the beginning. Moderators please delete it is my suggestion.

The OP is new to the forum and instead of reading the forum rules and familiarising himself with the forum, he is already making posts and sounding all smart. Well, the moderators can be of help. The gambling board have lately become a victim of off-topics and thankfully, it's interesting that the forum mods are paying keen attention there and moving most of the topics to where they rightly belong. If the OP continue in that direction, it is a matter of time before that account get wrecked.

The article is about how to get scammed by installing a script that supposedly double spends coins when instead it empties your wallet by hijacking your sending address!

The scammer OP  knows very well how the forum works, that's why he locked the topic, and I doubt he is at his first try, I've been seeing these scripts for years so probably he has been doing this for a long time even here.

Just report the thread.

If you read the report information, no need to think about the accuracy of your report is not gonna effect your report-result compared to the successful report you're made. Usually a typical thread like this you can report with fully information example:

"The thread is cleary for shilling purposes on some casino and can leading to spam activity" try to redirect the thread, article and other in a simple way on report thread. Then next, just depends on the mods.

Usually, my report was work (If explained the full detail). The thread are either getting deleted or move out.

I saw 4 megabyte PDF but I did not download it. I only read what is on the website and I did not do anything more than that. This my device is not used for wallet purpose but I will not like to download a malware file. I was also thinking it might be a malware file but forgot to add it to my post. Thanks for telling us.

looking from the way he make up everything, you would have agree with me that its like a planned work, this people of 1xbit are more desperate and mean, i don't know why he make the thread locked because he knew already that he will receive the very best reply that will make all his mission unaccomplished concerning that post, all i can suggest is to report to the moderator so it can be either deleted or moved to off topic.

As already written just hit the " Report to Moderator " button and it should be getting deleted soon.
It really looks like a Scam and also maybe the googledrive file is infected with something like Trojan or Malware.
Thats why i have not clicked the Link in the Thread.
Also everything or anybody that promise you a fast profit from this or that is mostly a Scam.
I reported that thread also.

Thanks for creating this thread, as due to your actions and reports many others have reported it too, and now that thread has been deleted by the moderators. Nice work. We should only report such threads, because I when see such threads, and realize they are trying to spam here, I usually report them to the moderators by writing few lines, as afterwards, its the moderator's decision to delete it or not. My report accuracy is almost good, as I usually not report much but only few times when I am sure that they are spamming.

I was unable to see what's was on the post, as Mods has already deleted it, but after reading the replies I get to know that there was some pdf file, its great that you did not downloaded it, we all should not download such apps, if you have only single device, a VMware would do the work even.

I seem can't access the thread you provided so it seems it's deleted which is good in my opinion. If it weren't deleted yet then I would also say the same thing which is to report the thread and wait for mods to delete it. It seems it's the best choice we have since we can't do anything to the thread especially if the op of that thread locked it so we can't reply in there which in my opinion is good so people can't dpam it with useless replies. I think that this person will post again since the thread is deleted.

I guess the main point of this post is to funnel people's attention towards 1xbit, which is at the end of the whole post just so you read all what the OP is to say. The best thing to do to these posts is just report it and the mods will pick it up from there.

I see that there has been some kind of 'resurgence' to anything 1xbit related. It could have been that they're trying to promote that scam site again thinking that our hate against the said platform has since died down.

Some of this beginner's are just looking for an easier way to be smarter than people who has been already existing here, not all every guide or anything posted by some newbies I do follows especially when I am working from same device I have installed my wallet. So of those are likely to be a kind of link to phished someone during loging our wallet or want to make some bitcoin transaction it could automatically changed our details.
Whenever I noticed newbie emphasizing more guide and whatever I became so conscious with their post and any other external material posted as guide to click them

When I saw the topic notification on telegram, I knew the OP was up to no good.

I think there should be a thread in the meta where these types of topics are reported on the forum. I wouldn't be surprised if the OP of that  isn't on other Internet communities looking for his next victim.

I'll add the user to my track user list so that whenever he makes such nonsense and scam filled topic, I'll be the first to report to the moderators even before anyone gets to read it.

I saw that he just created another double spending topic on gambling board(link below), in total he currently have 3 threads posted on gambling board.1 about double spending and 2 about $500 free gift card.

From the looks of that guys purpose is to spam thread on gambling board. perhaps a punishment is required?

This, and that ought to be the end of this thread.  OP, I'm not blasting you but you've been here long enough to know that when you spot shady stuff like this (and props to you for doing so) you should just report it to the mods and let them handle it.  By calling attention to it, some ignorant noob might just make himself a victim to whatever scam that jackoff is trying to pull (though it looks like they've already nuked it).

No, no, no.  That would clog Meta beyond belief.  Anything that looks like spam, a scam, or something that goes against the rules of the forum should be reported to the moderators with that handy little button put there just for that purpose.  Jeez.

I'll just go with my second option of tracking the user and making to the moderators whenever they make a scam post.

I can't even view the thread. I guess it has either been deleted or it's in a board that I've on my ignore list. Well, from the topic on it; anyone who will fall for such is also a greedy person themselves. I have seen him spamming since yesterday and thanks for the ban. But I have seen what I think would be another of his alt accounts starting to post online attack attempt again today.
