Title: Which airdrops are you currently participating in?
Post by: Hamukione on April 16, 2024, 08:56:02 AM
Hey everyone!

Im curious to know which airdrops you all are participating in these days.

Personally I am participating in:

  • zkSync
  • deBridge
  • Scroll
  • LayerZero
  • NIM
  • PINCH
  • BLOCK
  • Random testnets

I am pretty close to capacity in what I can manage, what about you guys?
Any recommendations, or did you know of anyone of the ones I mentioned above?

Feel free to PM me, if you want a referral link for any of the airdrops im participating in myself <3

Good luck

/Hamukione

Well thank you for sharing this list with us.

It is always helpful to find an already compiled list of airdrops that we can participate in. With so many projects launching every minute it’s hard to keep up and it’s even harder to make sure that the projects you are interested in are legit and not scams.

We still have a few time before the halving takes place so we should do our best to participate in all possible airdrop events as much as we can

Pretty much of all among the list. But didnt know that one Pinch maybe I'll look into that. Also block airdrop has ended mate few days ago and they got a rough laumching with some prettt bad fud due to their delayed claiming of tokens from airdrop and presale. Hope they will bounce back cause I invested on their project from presale and even nft for airdrops.

Also check out scroll twitter announcement they release a news about session zero.

Except for PINCH others I have followed earlier especially zksync and LayerZero. There are so many new airdrop testnets that are now even more popular that I have followed some of them but don't know if there will be rewards or not but at least I have run the testnet.

I'm curious about the PINCH in your signature? In X not so interesting not many followers I do not know do not follow further.

Not quite well that I know those list but there are few I heard like Notcoin, ice network, buffalo

It is not necessary that you participate in all airdrops because some will never distribute and that will be a waste of time. You can pick some that you feel will be worth it and if you are lucky that they are and listed then you are lucky indeed but don't rely only on airdrop, if you miss some that you think are good project, you can buy them when they are listed.

Are these list, mentioned by them self with word (Airdrop) based news .

Airdrop now days, is not mentioned anything. It's being keep secret during their development, so we are only speculated by our self (Could be have some airdrop). Basically, we just tested their platform without knowledge there has some airdrop.

Then, they will share a news (If they have airdrop) after the test was over. Mostly at the time after their token being release on exchange.

have no idea how to claim airdrop to these projects but if they are not asking anything or letting us signup for something, i would be glad to just paste my wallet address. but the airdrops today are very suspicious. i still couldn't see why they would airdrop unless the project is still promoting.

i will add one:

ZKasino

Airdrop link: https://zkasino.XXXXXX.net/
Twitter: ~
Discord: ~

this is likely a scam. connecting your wallet may result in getting your funds out instead. someone should report this user since this is not the main domain.

I am participating in OEX test net and a few others but would also appreciate the link to the ZKsync airdrop but seems Block airdrop has already ended.

Me either, that's where I am interested with. I'm looking for articles like this: https://www.coingecko.com/learn/zksync-airdrop
Other than that, I don't have someone to guide me for where I should look for the airdrops that are on zksync. Those that are mostly into airdrops have got their radar where they're joining and it's just mostly all about luck and so, good luck and also be wary of the scam and fake airdrops.

It's been a while since the last time, I've never participated in airdrops. However, I have seen recently that many people are getting extraordinary results from airdrops. But of course, it was their blessing because of their tenacity in carrying out airdrops, which even I myself would not have been able to do consistently.

  • zkSync
  • deBridge
  • Scroll

It seems like you are doing it very confidently with this list. Should I try doing research on this? If you have time, this seems quite interesting. Haha
I don't think about getting really fantastic prizes from airdrops because it might be disappointing. Yes, maybe it can be done just to fill up some free time for a while.

I have not really deal with fear in airdrops. I always see them as something that people are using to make quick money and the risk involved is incalculable. Like as cryptoaddictchie said one of the Airdrop listed by you has been ended and you that listed it probably don't even know that it has ended and you want people to invest in it by pming you. That is pretty risky as well. I only tried once for a long time ago and I could withdraw the funds so I lost and since that time I just the it.

All the ones you mentioned are new to me I ha e note heard anyone and I am not even interested for the any. Op I k ow the tactics here, once a soldier is always a soldier. You want to send referrali ks to people so you are using this method to attract people so that anyone who ask you will sent the person the link and you use it to increase your chances. Good tactic but I don't think it will work here.

You need to wait for the official information from the zkSync team, which will contain the details of the snapshot and the criteria for airdrop distribution. And then, it is possible that you will receive a sufficient number of coins that will bring you a good profit, if of course your wallet will be eligible for this airdrop.

My last participation was with oex test net project airdrop, but I don't get it done yet since distribution is upcoming after April 27 this year. Gladly, I was moving forward to the next Satoshi app project which is og tokens, probably also testnet coins with small drops hoping that soon it will become profitable just like those promising coins that enters the market of crypto. I'm quite interested on those you mentioned in this discussion, will going to check it in a few hours; wishing that these airdrops still actively giving out rewards.

In these instances, it is also undeniable that the airdrops that appear in this era have revived a bit. So, of course, the usual thing is to do your own research before participating in this or be vigilant. I saw something that I think is legit and has been filtered a lot to say it's legit. Check it out at https://paldo.io/.

Actually, I saw something else that wasn't listed on the website I gave you, because there are actually a lot of them coming out right now. It seems like you are the one who will be confused about which one to choose and do to have free airdrops.

I can't think of anything anymore because TBH, joining into multiple airdrops for me is a bit overwhelming especially if you are trying to update yourself to lots and lots of projects that has a potential to airdrop their tokens. Recommendations? I can't think of any, but maybe those projects that has a high valuation has a high chance to launch an airdrop to the community. Take note the word "CHANCE" because there are some projects that are what I call "heartless" and will not airdrop their tokens despite having a large community behind it and letting them use their testnet,

zkSync has been on the speculations for a long time, and many projects have been created under it already but until now, we don't have any confirmation to the team yet. Many said that it will be this year, but it's better if it's the team themselves that will say it. Unfortunately, I didn't participate on this one because I don't have spare money, so I choose to participate in other airdrops that requires lower amount of money to be eligible.

I don't have much time, so lately I've only focused on participation on zksync's retroactive. I see that the possibility of zksync launching tokens in the near future is quite high, so I only focus on working on this ecosystem, hoping to receive an airdrop. ;D

A lot of information on X has been leaked showing the possibility that Zksync already has the criteria for airdrop approval and has already taken a snapshot. But to be sure, I still participate every day until there is an official announcement from them.

This is an image I collected on X. This information has not been verified, but I find it quite close to the previous airdrop criteria of Arbitrum or Optimism. You can refer to know what you have done in it.

This is helpful but for now i will never participate airdrops im tired of receiving shitcoin and i am tired  of doing task but didn't recieved the airdrops coins, I'd rather participate in some listed projects in signature campaign than doing airdrops because i am not lucky on doing this for so long and never get profit. I don't know if there are true profit on doing airdrops but in my part i will not do joining airdrop again its a waste of time for me.

I am not participating in any of those airdrops and am not even aware that there is airdrops going on for those projects. The reason is because I don't go fishing for airdrops because of the challenge of scammers becoming popular in the crypto space. Last month, someone brought a topic here about TON airdrop and i tried it on telegram but it was a scam.

Not really, but what the OP mentioned is free airdrop programs (99% scam) and with shared projects, participants have to spend money to be able to expect future airdrops on other platforms that service. To be more precise, it's like retroactive on the network - a form of marketing, and users spend by interacting with the network, staking on a number of different platforms, there are also some things in the testnet stage that are free of charge but you still need to engage diligently.

As I am observing, there are a number of projects that have pre-launched snapshots and will soon airdrop them to the community. It can be seen that in recent years this form is quite popular and more attractive than interacting with social tasks.

Most of the time airdrops who require their prospects to invest some money, it’s more likely a scam. They are just trying to get as much money as they can before they run off with it. If a project is a scam and they did not require you to give any amount of money then there is no loss, really. Not all airdrops are free but beware of those who ask you for your money.

I don't see any hype about these airdrops, except for layer zero and ZKSYNC. What i am expecting is these two airdrop will be a big disapointment for the community as they have millions of users which will be really hard to make them happy with the airdrop criteria. If they let too many users be eligible, then the rewards will be lower, and the community will not be happy. If they harden the criteria and eliminate a large portion of the users to make the drop valuable, then a large community will be unhappy as well.

We've done our best to make good stands in the market. Airdrops enchanced the market for most traders who couldn't afford to bagged huge pieces of coins in the market. It's stated to be the point of concentration for most traders inother to make gains. Airdrops are scams but there's still presence of legitimacy in most of these projects. I've participated in more projects than I could possibly think of and only few have have been promising and legit.

Some things have been snapshotted and some things are in the process of being tested in the final stages to reward users, and these projects are all large projects in terms of scale, so there are risks in terms of capacity the possibility of fraud is low.

It didn't make all the participants happy though, the previous FOMO also had too many participants so a small portion of the winners would have a big reward. But I also agree that these services are benefiting a lot from capturing participants' interactions and spending, a game in which own always wins.

My list isn't super long because I've come to realize that you don't need to try and hit every target. You just need to pick few projects and just double down on them rather than spreading yourself too thing. In no particular order, here's the list:

EtherFi (Season 2)
EigenLayer (Season 2)
Ethena (Season 2)
Zircuit
Zksync

For some of these projects, I did participate but in a much smaller scale.

it is what it is though at the end of the day, they probably just gonna harden the criteria at the cost of having backlash however if their criteria proven to be reasonable then i'm sure people will be more understanding.

sometime you know some airdrop are making weird and ridiculous criteria thats where they gonna have the backlash but zksync and layerzero so far has already been having massive backlash in twitter anyway there are many people that saying layer zero with its criteria gonna eliminate massive amount of people.
therefore when it comes to retroactive like this with undisclosed criteria before hand i just quite pessimistic, i guess the point based retroactive airdrop just seems more reasonable to do but maybe thats just me though.

hopefully many of us eligible for layerzero and zksync, tbh, layerzero might be among the one that have big potential.

I have never ventured into airdrop projects before. I really don't know how many of the projects you mentioned are quality projects. As far as I know people fall prey to scams in airdrop projects. There is no way to tell whether the project will be good or bad by looking at the initial state of the project. I am always wary of airdrop schemes, there is always a possibility of hijacking of personal information when such scheme is added where there are various documents besides important wallets. Airdrop projects are suspicious to me so I stay away from them, I prefer to invest in coins like Bitcoin.

You can still tell somehow if it’s complete bull or has some at least a little potential to be good. Of course you need to look at the team and what they are promoting. People want to just participate in every airdrop but I think that’s a waste of time and instead should find potentially good ones instead.

That’s true but this is why you still should be wary when participating in events such as airdrop. Most people think it’s extremely beneficial because there is not much to lose when you participate in airdrops.

Airdrops are like us helping to test a platform or a chain, even if it is confirmed like a retroactivity that allows you to park enough funds and be as active as possible. Sometimes it can be delayed and not on time during distribution. I myself prefer to follow several active retroactives that are running according to my ability and not focussed on a network, as you wrote. Time constraints and the main thing is the distribution of capital in other types because there are many types of airdrops. sometimes cheap and free ones are even listed on the exchange first and distribute more ;D, like the developer likes to pamper his users. It's better to work on airdrops because you can do it while lying down or travelling, meaning that a little time can be put to good use. Moreover, meta points, even though it is rarely active, the following capital includes independent liquidity additions ;D to pump points. If you like research, it's better not to expect and multiply work because many tasks cannot always be expected as well as capital waiting lists and registers sometimes become a lot of money. Just enjoy the airdrop hunt, because the legit ratio is different depending on God and the developer who knows :D

Indeed, airdrops are a way to get coins for free and practically, but I personally am very bored of participating in airdrops, because most airdrops have problems with token distribution, where the tokens we receive do not match what was promised, besides the distribution time. it's also very long, therefore currently I'm not at all interested in airdrops,

And the airdrops I know that is currently working from my end is, truecoin, Blum, Hamster Kombat and Tapswap and pi network token those are the ones I know for now and among these ones it is only Hamster Kombat look somehow legit and all the rest are fake. Some people are saying that Blum is own by a reputable company so it will do well. Omen that airdrop is fuck shit for me now. Until I see a change in it.

After NOTcoin Tapswap came out and many people put their trust on Tapswap and later the airdrop.was said to be a scam airdrop so many people have stopped mining the airdrop.

Good luck

/Hamukione

I don't know anything that you have mentioned above because I have never participated in any airdrop. I don't know why I'm not interested in taking part in the airdrop because I think it's just a waste of time and what we get is not worth it. but sometimes there are some airdrops that provide rewards that are high enough to make me try to participate in the airdrop program. maybe after this I will PM you.
