Now crypto market is growing super faster along with Bitcoin. Altcoins are become so expensive. People who keep waiting to buy altcoins with cheap price during Bitcoin halving, are disappointed cause market is still on up trend. Sometimes little dump is happening but market recovery also done so fastly. So what do you think? Will altcoins ever cheap again? Or you are buying overprice altcoins?

Do you think altcoins right now are expensive? it's not altcoin season yet and most of the altcoins right now didn't get the new ATH meaning it's not altcoin season yet.
So it's still cheap for me this is just my own predicted price but I believe altcoin will surge these coming few months or this next year once we see the altcoin season that's the time we will see altcoin price pretty expensive.

What you must note is that altcoin still remains the cheapest coin to buy and it just depends on the kinds of coin you wanna buy, let say you want to buy already established coin yes, you must buy it but their prices are way more higher. If you wanna go for the cheapest ones then fine, you will buy but you must exercised patient for them to roll up as always expected in the market.
So, altcoin are still accessible and also remember that there are series of altcoin that are being launched every single moments, you could be lucky to jam a better one coin that could give you what you wanted.

I don't know where you got all that info from but trust me they aren't accurate. There's no rally yet for altcoins. The market is still grappling with Bitcoin rally first. We get to see alts push up in price when Bitcoin dominance in the market drops. Right now, dominance of Bitcoin is still at 51% (that's still very high) with ETH as its closest rival at 15%. We need to see Bitcoin dominance drop to around 40% or so before alts can push through. Right now, prices of alts are still cheap. This should be an accumulation phase for alts lovers. For those looking for alts to buy, they should be evaluating alts that are a part of the ongoing narrative for the bull market. Check what the Ton ecosystem is doing. Check what the BRC20 (Bitcoin ecosystem) tokens and Runes are doing. Do your research and don't take my word as a financial advice. I just pointed out areas my searchlight is on too.  Altcoins are cheap already. I didn't see any altcoins that is high for now and the only thing that high in some the altcoins is the transaction fee and because that people can't buy altcoins for and not the coins price itself. Anyone saying that altcoins is not cheap now then that person has not invested in any altcoins before and probably this the first time he wanted to invest in the altcoins ecosystem. And they is another method people are using to get into the system.

You can purchase an altcoin that is very cheap and later convert it to the coin you want and sent to the wallet. And also altcoins will still come down again so if you can wait then it is for your choice.

No I do not think that will happen again for us. The times for us to get cheaper alt coins will not happen because we are now going to see 'bull run' of them.

Not all altcoins are super expensive, there are a lot still that are cheap so if you're looking into altcoins, you need to allot more time in spotting them.

They will be cheap again once the bear market hits and some huge corrections do at this bull run. And I don't know if I'll buy overpriced altcoins but possibly I will.

I like the issue you raised about Bitcoin's halving that many believed investors were waiting for to invest in Bitcoin. I wonder how serious investors would wait for this time when the price of Bitcoin is so high already before they will now start committing their huge amounts of money to it. This is a big discouragement and could shift some radar to altcoins.

Now, the expensiveness of the old altcoins is normal, we all expected it and took the strike at the low levels and did not wait for this time. This is why it is better to have invested when they are still low to avoid discouragement like this, though it is never too late, many of them will still move more than x5 in this bull run.

Again, new coins and tokens will still be listed over time and this can help any interested investor to strike them when they are still not high in price. Who knows, they could be the talk of the town later in the future in terms of performance.

Not a lot of altcoins have gone to being an expensive one let alone overpriced. Maybe you are talking about ethereum where the gas fees are diabolical but it’s just one coin and there are a lot more cheaper coins you can still buy if you want to put some of your money into altcoins.

Most of altcoins are still affordable and I believe not all of them are going to skyrocket even with the celebration of halving

If you are thinking buying old altcoins is expensive for you and why don't you buy the new altcoins that have not yet made big pump? this will also help you to avoid being dumped like whales exit liquidity. You have various solutions to fix this but this totally depends on your perspective caused by i can't really say that if you must do this.

It will as long as bitcoin will go cheap too. I have been accumulating various altocins during the bearish trend after 2021 and so im only interesting to buy the new altcoins.

What do you mean by cheap like the price became so low way back 5 years ago? or more? Since what I think its not gonna happen since we are facing different phase of crypto which a lot of people is not buy and holding those top coins in the market. This is why we see that a lot of support for those top coins since there are a lot of whales support its price so it will not dump. If you still wait for a dump then maybe there's nothing or way to far before you can earn a profit with this since there's low chance that a big dump which can upset people totally might not gonna happen again. But if there's certain bad incident happen like a crazy big correction will happen then maybe everything in the market will change and we could able to see more dump to happen.

altcoin cycle is faster than the long established coin like ethereum and bitcoin if you think an altcoin is already too expensive or won't go down to its bottom floor price then you can simply ditch it and seek another altcoin. those are good starting point for investment in altcoin be sure to pick the right project though at least thats backed by big venture, moreover waiting altcoin to go down at the time of bullish like this is foolish thing to do, it won't go down anywhere near the price when it was bearish solana won't go down to $2 again worst scenario it goes down to $100 and thats it same with other coin that has gotten rally this time around.

There are so many altcoins in the market, so you have to be specific on the altcoins you are talking about, there are quite a lot of altcoins that are cheap and some more established coins that cost more. That being said, you shouldn't be looking at only the price when you want to buy altcoins, what should concern you is its utility and long term sustainability, and not its price.

Though during altcoin season new projects can pump very high and if you want to gamble, you can buy a few of them irrespective of their utility and see if you'd be lucky on some.

I don't understand your statement, I thought that Bitcoin bull season is what precedes altcoin bull season, and Bitcoin bull run has not fully kicked off, so I don't see how altcoins price is overpriced now. I believe that it's not late to start buying altcoins that you think will bull in this season, because when Bitcoin is bullish and investors are getting ROI they'll want to diversify and reinvest in altcoins, that's when the alt season will start and their prices will become high. It depends on the altcoins that you want to buy or that you are talking about. Since I invest only in bitcoin, I still see the price of altcoins very cheap for whoever wants to buy them now. If it is too expensive for, then you should buy the ones that are new and worthless.

The market goes through ups and downs in movement. If you are investing in altcoins, then you will have plenty of chances to invest. If you don't get the chance to join the old project, then you will surely be able to get a chance to invest in a new project. There will be plenty of projects in the short term to make a profit. I am pretty confident that most people won't buy altcoin at the bottom. People wanted to invest when the price was moving forward. My question is do you want to buy altcoins cheap or you want a project that is solid which you can invest on and makes some cool money. There is no point in putting money on low caps altcoins and get scam. There is another market manipulation I want you to understand, the crypto market is been controlled through your emotions. This year I have noticed that Bitcoin has pumped a lot. Along with that Bitcoin has been followed by several top tier altcoins. Bitcoin hit new highs, but the top alt coins were still far from past price records after the price increase. If you think you want to invest in altcoins, you can choose the top ones because the altcoin season has not started yet. At the end of the year we are waiting for a bull season to start, maybe then we will be in the beginning of the altcoin season.

I don't think that altcoins are cheap now because Bitcoin has not shown any increase yet so if Bitcoin is decreasing then no altcoins can become higher in its worth to touch the new ATH. I'm sure altcoin prices are still cheap. At least the price of altcoins will be a little cheaper compared to the beginning of 2024. The bull run season is in 2025. So I think this is still the early stage for investing in altcoins at low prices. I predict most altcoins will rise in the next bullrun season. To be honest, I did and that's not just once but a lot of times. I feel ashamed of myself when I did that because I was caught by the FOMO and the hype that those projects did. But past is past and I'm able to move on and learn from that experience as it's not going to happen anymore or if it does, they're minimal.  :D

I agree that due to Bitcoin dominance the market and as its effects, many altcoins get pumped but if you notice carefully then you can see that top potential altcoins are still 70/80% down from their ath that happened in previous bull run. So I don't think you'll find altcoins cheap again rather they'll keep increasing with time but you should keep your eyes on market so that you could buy altcoins with cheap if market start correction or you found any opportunity

Altcoins are increasing in value as the price of bitcoin increases but there are many altcoins that are undervalued. You can invest and hold them but you will have to sell them for a small profit. All altcoins are not the same. If you choose the top altcoins there is still time to invest, these altcoins will pump more during the bull run. The price may not be much but the investment opportunity will go higher.

Lots of altcoins were still not able to reach their previous aths and I doubt it will all happen soon. Each altcoins have their own unique cases but in general all of them seems to be not yet increasing constantly with only a few ones almost touching their ath. So yes altcoins are still cheap now and if you are looking to buy some this might be the perfect time to do so before they all pump in the next few months. You wouldn't want to miss that event.

I also don't want to miss this event. The bullrun season hasn't started yet and I'm already collecting some altcoins. I chose to bet on buying altcoins rather than buying bitcoin. This is a risky bet for me. I have bought several potential altcoins such as rndr, fetch.ai, tia, manta, ton, kaspa, and ondo. That's true but for top altcoins. Cause most of top altcoins aren't touch New ATH yet but they pumped a lot. But others altcoins are still cheap. Altcoin are always cool to buy but it depends on the specific altcoin you want to buy and hold, let say going for the establishment coin are never cheap to buy such ethereum or BNB they way back expensive to acquire currently. There are some newly launched altcoin you could buy that are very cheap but most times you can be sure of the people behind the project because most of them could tends to have good intentions towards the project but at last have evil agenda to scam, so to me it's advisable to buy reputable coin irrespectively of how expensive they could be it is more better.

You have to be more specific, which altcoins do you mean because currently there are thousands of altcoins on the market with various prices from the cheapest (cents) per unit to the most expensive (thousands of dollars), but market habits that will never change are when prices Bitcoin goes up, altcoins will too and vice versa, when the price of bitcoin goes down, the price of altcoins also goes down

I guess the OP is talking about those days when Altcoins hit rock bottom and not long ago SOL used to trade under $8 before surging, not about coins which are cheap because we know that you don't invest into Altcoins by looking at the value as cheaper coins doens't mean higher profit as this was the widely misunderstood thing in the past. I think we will see the season which OP has mentioned only during bear market not in midst of bull season.

I always research first before buying an altcoin even if it is a top altcoin and also always look at the market situation. currently the price of btc is increasing after the halving and some of the top altcoins are rising and some are at stable prices. If we always wait for the price to be even lower then we will miss the train.

You have some valid points even though some are not thorough or could mislead. What makes altcoins to be unique is that they often have their seasons and even when some altcoins are buying at random times, others might be relaxing, but when the time of those that initially bought ends, those you never thought they were going to buy will start buying. That is the difference here that is expanding the opportunities of making more money in altcoins.

You can imagine what happened to PEOPLE recently, the DAO token initially sold so well but started at a low level a few days ago, but before I knew it, it had moved 5 times of its price. Ethereum and Bitcoin are expensive but they are also more worthy coins than others and there are also some other altcoins which can give us huge profit as compared to Bitcoin and they are lower in price now but Bitcoin is so expensive that everyone cannot afford its investment.

We will soon see another pump because previously as we have seen the bitcoin to reach 71k$ so altcoins were also pumped in worth but now with decrease in the amount of Bitcoin altcoins are also showing decrease which is a better time to hold some best altcoin.

There are still cheap coins available in the market and these coins have good potential. It is the lazy attitude of OP that he is unable to find those gems. Big coins have already surpassed that level when they were dirt cheap I agree on that point but there are a few gems and those gems have been discussed in the forum that are still low in value and have the potential of giving good returns.

If you want to invest in altcoins, it is wrong if you look at them as overpriced. Because you thinking you’re paying too much than you’re ought to. So you may want to change that mindset and rather hope that what you invest in can grow.

There are too many altcoins and the average altcoin is usually cheap. So I don’t know which altcoin in particular you wanted to buy but understand that you have several options to choose from.

Maybe I don't find it lazy attitude but he has no confident to buy know since maybe he has lack of knowledge about certain alts that currently can be consider as good to buy since they have potentials to rise.

So I guess what he need to do is to dig more deeper knowledge since if he continue to ask like that without doing any actions then provably he will just get confused with the suggestion and get afraid by misinformation then will not do any action which he might regret later on especially if the alts will pump.

There's a lot of cheap altcoins that aren't overpriced yet, if you happen to see those that got the huge value I think that's old and stable. Most of the altcoins are way down than their ATH when there was a alt season previously. So you can ask this question to yourself after next bull season of alts, answering yourself, "damn those were really cheap, if I had bought those at that price." Altcoins are too much related to the market of BTc and whenever there will be a dump into the BTC price the altcoins will also come to a much cheaper point.

So after halving there was a good opportunity to invest in altcoins when there was an ongoing dump in the market but now the market seems to be balanced and starting its journey for a positive growth. So in order to get an insight of altcoins study the BTCs behaviour closely.

you want cheap coin you wait another bearish, its the rule of thumb.
if you missed buying it now then in the future there will obviously come a time where all the coin price tanked you can buy them at heavily discounted price but there's this one disadvantage of being too late where the price despite in bearish probably still higher than the previous bearish price because thats just how it works.
the only chance right now to make investment is when market having sudden correction when price dips more than 20% thats the right time.
i've seen plenty of altcoins having just that moment, like manta where they lost 50% of value.

If you look at CMC you will see how each project experiences ups and downs. But no one can ever truly predict the market. Don't wait for a bearish season. I don't know how you can think that alts price are not cheap as it is now, have you taken a look at the market lately and see how cheap most of the alts are now, look at alts like Tia, DYM, Apt, Wormhole, inj and a whole lot of them are very cheap as we speak.
I don't think you will see alts any cheaper than what they are now. If we are going to witness a bull run after btc halving i think this is the time to buy some of the great alts for the upcoming bull run.

Crypto market analysis is very difficult. But I think the price of altcoin will definitely be cheap. But it's not very soon. After the current bullrun ends. And waiting till then is difficult. If you want to invest in altcoins, Matic can be your first choice. Because the value of this coin is still much lower than the last bullrun.  Last bull season. Matic was priced at around $3. I think there is no something so different with the previous bullrun season.
Although it is quite surprising that Bitcoin reached a new ATH before halving but everything looks normal after the halving happened.

Why people feel disappointed?
After halving, we already have a big decrease of crypto prices. It was when the price of Bitcoin dropped from $73k to $56k.
At that time, the prices of many altcoins freefall. Why they didn't buy altcoins at that time?  ???

By the way, it is good if the market keep growing and we have a constant uptrend. We know it is not the best time to accumulate crypto coins, it is the time to prepare taking profits. What's your definition of cheap altcoins? If you are looking for top picks on coinmarketcap then sure it might be reached its new ATH and you considered that an "overprice" altcoins. But, there are still so many altcoins that are still considered "cheap" and underrated to trade, so might as well to check those out. Altcoins are vulnerable for such high pump and dump market movement, it's pretty much normal.

Price is relative, to some people entering Crypto now, the price is not that high since they are buying these tokens based on what they were told that moon only, people that have been here and see the price of token move from $1 to like $20 will feel it is too expensive. I missed out on $Doge because I believe the price was too high and Elon Musk kept pumping the price last cycle. No it's not growing super faster. That's so exaggerated, and if it's true then we are at $100k now but nah. We are still stuck at the $60k glory. I still appreciate the recovery made of BTC these past months. There are alts who also made an increase along with BTC but I think many of them are still affordable.

BTC halving is a positive event, so it's a bad idea to wait or expect that crypto price will dip during it but it looks like there is a miracle that occurred on this current halving round, since there is no positive effect yet that takes place. They should not waste this moment because I'm sure there are people who will think twice and ended up waiting for another decline again.

If you didn't buy them cheap, you won't buy them when they are "expensive" either. Because the expensive price you are referring today can be cheap next week when you realize it's not going down and that was near bottom compared to where is it that day. OP is right to some extent, altcoins are very deadly investment and equally they are high return investment project depending on where you bought it, if you buy it at lower price with low market cap, a small liquidity will give you an insane profit so big that you will never imagine but the are rare these days, this is why you must be careful and do proper research and buy when the price is low, you may buy in the middle of somewhere and some people will dump on you.

The only altcoins I can recommend for someone to buy is top 10 altcoins, you will see Solana, BNB, Matic and some later 1 coins over there, you will have peace of mind buying them in the middle than buying altcoin that aren't even popular yet.
