Title: Is anybody disappointed after the BTC halving?
Post by: virtualdn on April 22, 2024, 09:52:26 AM
So, we had the halving. Many people were predicting BTC to the Moon, $100K and such, none of those happened. Are you disappointed?

I'm not disappointed* since I'm a long time HODLer but I was curious to see if you were expecting something else. The market seems undecided now.

*made an edit since some people seem to be reading the title only

The market seems undecided now.
"The market" seems right on track compared to the previous 3 halvings (https://www.blockchaincenter.net/en/bitcoin-rainbow-chart/). Give it time :)

Many people were mislead by the halving hucksters, but it happens every time and there really is nothing that can be done about it.

I am very disappointed, but not because the miracle didn't happen overnight, but because people like you who have witnessed at least 3 halvings until now think that halving is some kind of magic.

I'm not since I'm a long time HODLer but I was curious to see if you were expecting something else. The market seems undecided now.

Considering the timing of your topic and all the topics you publish from time to time, I would conclude that you are quite disappointed that the price of BTC has not already reached $100k - because that is your exit point, right?

Give it weeks or months. Do not think bitcoin price will just skyrocketed immediately. But halving was on 20th of April and today is 22nd of April. You want bitcoin to have increased significantly in just two days after halving? If you make findings about the previous halvings, you will see how you are wrong.

Have you read where I said "I'm not disappointed?"

There is no exit point for me, sorry to disappoint you. I don't plan to exit from BTC.

People should reply after reading the whole post not only the title.

I will be disappointed if I don't see a massive sell-off from those who are disappointed because an overnight miracle didn't happen.
I guess these are short-term investors who expected to double the capital in a couple of weeks

If you weren't disappointed then you wouldn't have created this thread. I'm guessing you're also getting impatient and you created this thread to see if more people feel as frustrated as you.

From what I see, there are some investors who gradually started complaining and being disappointed that the market did not increase when the halving ended. I'm also watching this closely as I see this as a sign of a bull market. I think when a lot of people are frustrated, complaining about bitcoin not going up in price, they want to sell all their bitcoin. To me, that's a sign the bull market has arrived.

Too many hateful messages, locking this topic since I was expecting a nice discussion not such comments.
