Title: Hiveos detects card but doesn't work Post by: Woodoo8 on April 22, 2024, 01:08:34 PM Good morning guys, I have hiveos with 5 identical xfx rx 580 8gb cards, one is detected but does not undermine and the second one crashes while the other three undermine. By disconnecting the first one all 4 work. I tried to load the bios again but it doesn't work.
Do you have any advice for me? THK Title: Re: Hiveos detects card but doesn't work Post by: miner29 on April 22, 2024, 05:49:33 PM Try rearranging cards and use this to determine if the problem follows the card or stays on slot 1.
If it moves with the gpu than that gpu is suspect. If it is always the 1st card regardless of which one is in it , it could be the slot or the riser. If cards all on risers be sure to swap/replace the one not working and see if it stay or follows. Also try running without adjusting core/memory just default values (its ok generally to limit power but even this can be removed to confirm the card mines /does not mine. Try to determine is it the board / slot / riser / gpu and swapping them around and tracking if the problem follows the gpu or not. THK Hive OS may not be the reason for this behavior of video cards. I recommend using standard settings without overclocking. If errors occur, then each video card can be checked separately, and then the raisers and power supply can be checked. |
