At Infinitecoin we are not just looking to provide solid initial short term gains for members, we are looking to create the long term reach necessary for global adaptation. Infinitecoin (IFC) has the potential to be widely adopted as a global peer-to-peer digital currency, it has the capacity to ease the distress caused by a retracting global economy starving for a money supply which is restricted to hard limits, without theft via inflation.


To achieve success Infinitecoin’s new management team is taking IFC in a completely new direction with a new business model to encourage rapid expansion and development.

We have the ability and strategy to take Infinitecoin to the average consumer. This is something not done effectively in the past for crypto coin users. Cryptocurrency, in the past has been solely the realm of the tech savvy and we believe we can use this overall weakness in the cryptocurrency community as our own strength at Infinitecoin.

We are the crypto-currency for the masses!



China - Our predominant distribution is currently in China and we intend to continue to work with China to further expand this market, we have now put in place an official IFC China manager and representatives to overcome the language barrier and to develop further initiatives and growth in the region.

USA - We will take on a more aggressive approach in the US to penetrate this market; we will develop new consumer goods people would use at home on a pc, android phone, tablet and services which consumers would normally do at a bank. Merchant services are difficult and expensive to setup and run. We want to make these systems as inexpensive as possible for maximum global saturation for Infinitecoin.

Europe and United Kingdom – This is also an integral part of the counterbalance strategy with many forward thinking countries in this region and highly tech savvy consumers. An aggressive approach will also be adopted in this region. We will be looking to this region with it willingness to be innovators and adopters of green technologies to help drive development which we will access and distribute globally for the benefit of the planet.

South America - Primarily Brazil, but Spanish translations in addition to Portuguese for our services as well as a carefully planned strategic push there would be beneficial. A more aggressive marketing campaign and investment focus should be focused to these areas. South America has many countries with financial instabilities which could be eased by having a system like Infinitecoin available to fill the gap where the banks fail.

India - This is already a largely technologically proficient area with a large population and large technology industry. I believe our plans for IFC will be widely accepted by the Indian people because of its ability to empower small business in addition to India's large appetite for stores of wealth like precious metals.   

Africa - This will be our keystone. The mobile banking industry in Africa is exploding with more than two thirds of adults, in Kenya alone, utilizing mobile devices to make monetary transactions.  Infinitecoin’s ease of use and the development of our mobile services will allow us to compliment this already established industry. The cultural and lingual diversity will create challenges. As we continue to develop and implement our strategies the Infinitecoin team will prioritize the recruitment of team members to help bridge the language and cultural barriers.

In each region we will look to drive rapid innovative development with our new expansion strategy.

We will penetrate industries such as gaming, trade services, media and consumer markets with online stores offering all kinds of goods. One key strategy will be our focus on the mobile phone application market, including financial and trading tools, point of sale systems, and gaming. We also plan to offer support for e-tail cart plugins to support IFC so it is as simple to setup and use as any other cart system. We will also look to penetrate the resource markets and enable seamless currency transfers to lower costs of raw materials and encourage more diversity in global manufacturing.         


STAGE 1:

The first priorities for IFC development involve basic infrastructure restructuring and development. The previous developer missed some chances for improving the client which are considered standards for current wallet systems. The client will be brought in line with these standards before additional client development can begin. Strengthening this infrastructure before we create our media push is integral. Possible errors from user load increases should be solved before they happen rather than resulting in a bad first impression for new IFC users. The following stage 1 projects are listed below by priority.
 
Advanced Check-pointing (1.8.6)
       
As the block rewards drop for miners, this produces an environment where the hash rate for IFC may be left at  levels which might be exploited with a 51% attack from an entity with a sufficiently strong network. In the short term an advanced checkpointing system will be utilized to manually ensure that the block chain has not been compromised and automatically remove bad blocks by excluding them from the checkpoints disabling a 51% attack. Long term we hope to possibly integrate a proof of stake (POS) system to help automatically secure the network multifold by requiring attackers to need a minimum 51% of all coins in addition to 51% of all the hash rate of the network. New More Reliable Block Explorer
 
Development of a brand new more stable INFINITECOIN block explorer is nearly complete and will not only allow IFC users to more readily check transactions, it will provide 3rd party services which use block explorers to calculate meta data for IFC a more reliable place to parse data from. Additionally there will be other services making the IFC block explorer more useful in addition to increasing dependability.

Client Update 2.0
 
For this client update we plan to fix a few things never addressed by the original development team. The method of node connection will be updated to be in line with the latest updated Bitcoin and Litecoin builds increasing security, speed, and reliability. Transaction fees will be increased to a default voluntary fee of 10 IFC. This will be the default setting in the client, but can be changed if need be. It is recommended to pay this fee as it helps secure the IFC network, and paying it can ensure you faster transaction confirmation times. There are no plans to integrate proof of stake (POS) systems for this release.

STAGE 2:

In stage two we will begin constructing some of the project management systems which will enable the IFC community to organize their own projects independently, but with the assistance of the IFC community, and while providing funds back to the community for further project development and the betterment of all involved.




This system will allow investors to assign team leaders to issue asset shares. It will be decentralized and p2p with 3rd party centralized organizational structures added to support GUI's and make web based interfaces possible. Each project team member will be assigned an agreed-upon amount of shares by the team leader who controls the asset creation. The budget will be controlled by the team leader and used according to the investors interests. Upon completion of the project ROI will be manifested for the main investor as well as project members holding shares. This system will enable a decentralized cellular like organizational structure for projects and simplify reimbursement for team leaders and investors while maintaining proper control over funds for all involved. A certain percentage of revenue will be expected to be donated to IFC project development for maintaining the client, forums, and asset  control systems. After a reasonable ROI is reached asset holders may have the option of selling their services to the IFC community for the use of generating profits for development, while also providing vital service structures for the public at reasonable prices in addition to more available jobs which are paid in IFC.

1. Start up infinitecoin-qt, wait for it to load, then exit.

2. Put infinitecoin.conf (see sample file above) in your c:/users/**yourcomputername**/appdata/roaming/Infinitecoin

3. restart infinitecoin-qt, and you should connect and sync.

4. For solo mining, launch cgminer or whatever mining program you like and begin mining.

Infinitecoin was taken over by Tecshare in December 2013 from it’s creator fisheater. In the time since substantial work has had to be undertaken to sure up the client and reset the infrastructure. In late January, once the client issues were fixed to a satisfactory level, it was time to form the new management team to set in place wide foundations for Infinitecoin’s growth. Since this time major projects have been organized and development is ongoing for, new sites, client plans, global outlook and clear directives for the future of IFC. This is simply the beginning, our team is spread over every continent and is looking to expand dramatically in the next 12 months to enable success with our new internal modelling. This will form the new backbone for IFC and will drive rapid innovation and advancement.

Creating a development roadmap is good start.  Most of the initiatives on the road map seem like marketing based projects or what looks like bug fixes, or optimizations in code.  I don't see anything significant in network improvements.

This keeps miners from maintaining the network.  IFC is stuck in dead waters (not wind or sea currents).  You need more transactions to get more rewards per block for miners to start mining again to secure the network, you need more miners to adopt IFC to provide a floor as a community, increase awareness and promote the currency.  IFC still seems to ignore miners.

But this is a good start.  Hope to see more significant initiatives in the future.

Exactly when do you think it will be mined out?

I was just quoting the roadmap.  IT was what they stated.  I don't really care at this point and I don't really want to to have to go through the effort to do so.  I'm here to see how development is progressing and if they make significant changes.  I'm hopeful but skeptical.

It would be nice to see this coin resurrected from the ashes.
