I have been trying to login my metamask wallet for something now, and it keep loading but is not opening, can anyone tell me on what to do please

Never got an issue when I check my Metamask on phone and browser extension and maybe there's an issue at your side.

Check all necessary things needed to watch since maybe there's an update on Metamask and your wallet version is not updated. Also check your  your network connectivity since maybe there's ongoing issue happened in your area and internet is so slow today.

Last try to restart your phone if you are using this then check if everything works fine again.

Metamask do not have login but you will use the seed phrase to access it. Or am I wrong?

Probably you updated it and the new version is too heavy for your present phone OS to load. I guess it is on phone. Update your phone OS to the newest version.

You really think that's the problem, if so maybe I will try and update it to new version  let me know if that's the problem I'm facing, I have been trying it for some time now but is not opening I don't know what's wrong, maybe I will try and do exactly what you just said let me see if it will work. With a wallet seed, you can import a wallet to another browser, another device, but there is a password to protect access to the wallet. Password is set up by a user but if a user lost the password, but still have wallet seed, he can import wallet seed and get access to the wallet again.

Wallet password is another layer to protect access to wallet private key and avoid easy steal of your cryptocurrency.

Maybe the problem is on the app? Or error. Loging in on metamask is quite easy since you just need to import a seed phrase or private key and make a password. Normally if it isnt loading then means its just a glitch or error. Im always using metamask and experience the same sometimes. Or if still persist then just relog or reimport your private key.

If you have the private keys of your wallets, just uninstall the metamask extension and install it again, then import your wallets afresh using their private keys. What you need to access is your wallets, so you should have saved their private keys properly.

Metamask have login, when you install the extension, you will be required to chose a password. After you login, then you can either create new wallets or import an existing one using the private key.

First make sure you are not logged in from any other device. When we operate a device constantly, at some point the device gets a lot of load and even the device starts to lose performance due to malfunctions. Hope it's not a outdated version? Check if there is a new update, and if you are on the latest then do the following.

You got your recovery seed written down? It might be the time to grab it.

Clear your broswer cache, or just uninstall the metamask wallet and reinstall it then open the add-on, it should work this time around.

If you are on mobile phone, you can clear the cache too or just uninstall the app and reinstall it again. Viola, should work now.

Make sure you redownload using metamask.io, just to be safe, this days you shouldn't trust any app stores online including the famous Google Play store.

Did you check your network connection properly? Sometimes it could be as a result of poor network connectivity so ensure you double check your network connection and if the problem persists then you should try and update your Meta Mask application to the latest version or try using a web browser and see. If there is no any changes then uninstall and reinstall the application and also restart your device am sure it should do but if it doesn’t then try getting a new device and try accessing your account from it.

If you open it via a PC or desktop with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, also make sure the browser you use is the latest version and don't activate VPN if you only open it for the Ethereum network. But if you open your metamask wallet to see tokens on the BSC network, try activating VPN if it won't open, and the reason I say this is because I see you are an Indonesian who sometimes needs VPN when you want to open something from an unfamiliar network. However, if you open it via an Android smartphone, make sure the Metamask application is the latest version so it can open more smoothly. Good luck.

Actually while I was singing in to my Meta wallet account, there was basic requirement to create logging password which I did. Just had to let you know that the Meta wallet security frame is supported with both logging access keys and the seed phrases.

So right over to Op, while I've just come across your thread, I just checked mine if I'd observe such encounter with you but there was no issues with mine.
Since it says loading I think it could be network issues or your mobile software being overloaded to process that your command.
You can try on other devices if it would work but if persists then I'd recommend you use a VPN to manoeuvre the bridging interface between your regional network and the wallets supplied network.

Buddy, it is not login it will be the import your wallet? Have you try to use your Gmail and password to enter on metamusk?  :P
If you have the backup or recovery seeds or the private keys then click on import existing wallet option and put the private keys you have for that wallet. The problem will be solved. And if you lose the private keys then you might also take it you have lost your wallet forever.

Possibly due to some big occured with your browser causing this, try importing the wallet with private keys on another browser or you can try importing on Android too which could be more convenient than the extension.

I am assuming you still have your keys cause Metamask doesn't store the keys, it's only you hold that.

Is working now I think the reason why I was finding it difficult to login is because my wallet version is not updated, so after reading this thread then I decided to update the app to the latest version, and guess what? I'm able to access the wallet now, at first I was thinking that the system has a problem, I never knew is just a minor thing. However I so much appreciate you for your opinion.

Typically, wallets that are not updated will experience some trouble. It's the same with the desktop wallets that I have been using, when there's a new release of software update and I haven't done so, the wallet won't load and that's why I have to download with the newest version or simply reinstall the wallet. Sometimes, if it's not about an update then it's mostly your internet connection or isp problem.

Lots of possible reasons why your metamask wallet is not opening despite loading on screen nonstop.

First I would think about my internet connection. Maybe you have bad signal that is why it is interfering with the opening of the wallet. Second maybe whatever device you’re using isn’t updated or working properly anymore.

Restart your internet connection as well as your device and go from there.

It is nice to hear that you were able to solve your problem, since with all the horror stories that we read about hackers stealing money left and right, it is easy to imagine that a technical issue is instead caused by some malicious actors that are trying to steal your money, but fortunately this was not the case for you and you recovered access to your wallet, so from now on make sure that your wallet is updated so this does not happen to you again.

The reason for not logging in to Metamask wallet may be that there is a problem with their servers. You can rest for a while and try again. Also make sure Metamax is open if the problem persists try resetting your MetaMask account by going to Settings Advanced Reset Account. Once your account is reset, restart your browser and try connecting your Laser device to Metamask again.

I'm glad that he's able to log into his metamask wallet, knowledge and experience is essential for someone to make right decisions, the problem was just a simple update issue, if he wasn't put through and didn't think of it, he'll never gain access into his wallet. A last option for wallet issues will be to import it and use seed phrase to access the wallet again, but I'm glad that it didn't get to that extent before he found the solution to his problem, knowledge is power.

Which of the devices are you using? If it is mobile phone app then it is working very fine and I don't know if desktop or laptop browser and another thing you have to check is your password, cross check your password again and another thing to check is the saved password if you did when inserting password at the veet first time of opening the account. And if is not working with all these then you have to delete the account and create new accounts then insert your seed phrase by clicking on the import account.

And I think with this last suggestion you can recover your old metamask wallet account.

I'm using mobile phone, is working very fine now, the reason why I was finding it difficult to access the wallet in because I was using the Old version of metamask wallet, then I tried to update it to new version of metamask wallet and now is working absolutely well. I'm pretty sure that I didn't forget my password I only have one specific password that I use in all my account, so that I won't forget it, because using multiple password in different account is not good reason is because you can easily forget them.

We should always forward to comprehend the current situation we've found ourselves, I know it's not easy but we should do our best to continue pushing and also providing aides for ourselves. We should our best to equipped the system and understand how to cope. Metamask comes with its own problem, I've encountered such some months ago but it took me just few steps to resolved such challenge, it's quite easy to acknowledge the fact there's key basis to understand in the system.
