What's holding you back from not taking 100% of the balance after recovering it?

Literally nothing if we're going to be honest. Especially when the one who offers this kind of service has no reputation on the forum and his account is worth nothing.

In addition, if someone has a wallet that is protected with a strong password, the chances of unlocking such a wallet are practically zero, unless the owner cannot remember some details of his password. However, it is possible that someone has found a way to "extract" such passwords in some other way than through the brute force method.

walletrecoveryservices[1] offers a cheaper service, they ask for about ~20%, but with certain conditions and a certain length of the password, otherwise it will be a waste of time and resources.
Therefore, perhaps reducing the price, add your HW pic next to the account name, and being willing to put an amount in escrow are all this will help you gain trust.

Yup as hugeblack  said you must gain trust first to offer such service. Otherwise why would one prefer newbie with couple of posts for these type of service. But that being said, every legit person have too start from this situation. So until you gain enough trust, you must put some amount in escrow.
