I find it difficult to single out just one thing in bitcoin. For me, it is like a multifunctional financial tool, the application of which will differ depending on the situation and goals.

In the long term, bitcoin is a speculative instrument (still, at some point all will sell this or part of it) combining the function of a bank (savings) deposit and a protective asset against inflation.

But basically and simply put that bitcoin is an online money and even google would give you several different meanings and definitions of bitcoin but personally, when I hear bitcoin, first thing that rings in my head is that, bitcoin is an “online money” and I don’t know if google has this definition but that’s the first thing that rings in my head when someone ask what bitcoin is.

For me, Bitcoin can give me the freedom to manage my own assets without interference from other people, be it banks, financial institutions and so on and this is truly freedom and control completely in my own hands.
And besides that Bitcoin is anonymous because I need transactions that do not have to be printed in my bank account which makes transactions difficult and time consuming, and Bitcoin is the solution and can also carry out transactions without time limits and country restrictions.
And the most important thing for me is to own or invest Bitcoin very profitably when the price rises and also for my future or old age. For some bitcoin is freedom and survival. It is security as much as it is hope for other people. Bitcoin has managed to turn a lot of people’s lives and make them better. As we are all different, we all approach bitcoin in different ways. We started all differently and I am hoping that we all end the same way: successful and happy.

For me, Bitcoin is all about eliminating the middleman.  Banks, governments, and all that jazz - they slow things down and skim off the top.  It's about control over my money and the right to privacy.  I don't want them to know absolutely every cent where I spend. At first on this forum I joined bounties and earned money in alts and those alts were so unpredictable that sometimes I lost half or full of what I earned. But when I started to earn in BTC and started to use that BTC for holding purposes I realize the true capacity of BTC and why holding BTC is far better than holding alts. Then slowly slowly I learned about it and still learning. BTC has made me more profit than any other alts. Even if it's a few bucks but profit is profit.

I would say in the long run BTC is the best choice over any other alts but I might choose ETH for some reason but still BTC is my first priority. It has a scarcity factor and demand is already increasing. Governments are allowing it making it legal. New tax and rule and regulations are being made for BTC and overall crypto industries and many new countries will also accept BTC ETF which will bring more adoption so all these factors are main reasons that keep me loving BTC plus BTC is the king  8)

At that point of time I didn’t know the actual value of the coin. I just exchange my cash for BTC, use it to gamble, win and then again exchange it to cash. As someone who works in finance bitcoin for me was and has always been about change in the way money works.  I have come to learn through my professional career what a scam big banks are.  How corrupt big banks are (JP Morgan Chase with 40 billion in financial fraud violations since the year 2000 for example).  Bitcoins' decentralized nature is what really attracted me to it, and CHANGE is what I would say bitcoin is for me.

It is very appropriate to say that investing in BTC will become double in the future For BTC myself, I am quite sure and the growth rate itself, we can see the progress has been very impressive when compared to a few years ago, let's say the value of BTC in 2023 was only 33K and now it has doubled to 66K with only 1.7 years of waiting. For corrections it always happens but it is normal because that's how the market works, there are ups and downs. It's a no-brainer once.

Bitcoin for me is :
- A very volatile currency and a store of value.
- A currency that offers direct person to person transaction from all over the world without the use of any 3rd party payment processors or even banks.
- An opportunity where you can put your money to protect from hyper inflation while earning profit at the same time.

I really believe that the problem of high transaction fees will be solved and then Bitcoin will be used regularly in stores and cafes, and by various music companies to sell a song or a ringtone. I really believe that most of the people in the world, not just 219 million as it is today, will be using Bitcoin and enjoying the benefits.

Bitcoin's transaction fees need to be low to increase people's interest in small transactions. When someone goes to pay in Bitcoin to buy any product from any store or any place, it will not be a perfect payment method for anyone if a high amount of transaction fee is charged for it. For example, if a t-shirt costs $20, then if $5+ transaction fee is deducted, it will cost $25, whereas other payment methods will charge a much lower fee. so of course reducing Bitcoin fees is very important. Right now we have around $1.50 fee most of the time, and for many of us it's acceptable for our needs, but for those people who would want to buy a ringtone for $2 paying $1.50 as a fee would be too much. Same can be said about a cup of coffee or tea. But the fees were as high as $40 or even $60 couple of times in the past, as far as I can remember, and what we have now is already a big progress. I think if fees were around $0.20, it wouldn't be a problem for anyone.
