Title: Testnet Bitcoin (Native Segwit)
Post by: Trebz28 on May 08, 2024, 09:37:16 AM
GM, fam!

It's been a while since my last post and I think this is my last resort.

I've been looking for a testnet bitcoin to test some dapps, a Bitcoin Layer 2 to be specific and tried a lot of faucets online that promises for some testnet bitcoin but haven't received any from those. By any chance, do you guys know a legit faucet or if ever you have some, my grandma will gonna appreciate if you can send to my bitcoin testnet address?

Here's my addy: tb1q5508uj6h55fzwej2syv9mdruzq38sw86avqq53

Thank you so much guys!

There are other Bitcoin test net faucets.

https://bitcoinfaucet.uo1.net/
https://kuttler.eu/en/bitcoin/btc/faucet/
https://coinfaucet.eu/en/btc-testnet/
https://tbtc.bitaps.com/

I've  actually used https://tbtc.bitaps.com/ it did work once then but it did not work after that once  although I don't know if it's  now  working
And I did used
https://bitcoinfaucet.uo1.net/ => it didn't work

It only these that I haven't  tested:

https://coinfaucet.eu/en/btc-testnet/

You already have 1.6 tBTC. Isn't that enough?

Thank you so much guys! Publix passport benefits (https://www.publix-passport.com)
For testnet Bitcoin, you can try the faucet at testnet.help, which is a public test network where you can request up to 0.0001 BTC every 24 hours. Just solve the reCaptcha and agree to the terms to receive your testnet Bitcoin.

And looking on https://mempool.space/testnet/address/tb1q5508uj6h55fzwej2syv9mdruzq38sw86avqq53 (https://mempool.space/testnet/address/tb1q5508uj6h55fzwej2syv9mdruzq38sw86avqq53), he own 2 tBTC on that address before creating this thread. So if 1.6 tBTC is really not enough, OP should consider using regtest instead where he can generate as much block as he wants.
