And how easy is to access to credit we could see that companies have real problems to hire workers. Those who want to work Will provide so bad quality that companies will have bad reputation. Maybe in future If things continue to go this way it's better to be worker because you earn more without liabilities. I can imagine situation when hotel resort need to pay just for the cleaner who really will show up and do quality work 500-1000$ daily and that's not joke. More and more people start to think how valueble are their time and often when company taking cheaper worker that might harm companies reputation and company can lose the customers. We might see that companies need to borrow funds soon just to pay to workers. Job is market based on current situation the value of money possible ways to earn easy money we will see rapid changes on the Job Market. And that's really happening and companies have no other options but to pay the price otherwise business can't function at all. And If it's large company probably some wall street office and it need to be cleaned or toilet need plumber or other issues for them paying the 1000-2000$ daily it's nothing. Or some cruise ship make a lot money to pay 7000 $ for dish washer it's nothing for them atleast the Job get done. And construction building well those wages Will be 20 000$ monthly and If u don't pay well you risk with bad quality work or Even that workers don't show up on time. That's our new reality in the future If everything continue to going same Direction off course inflation of money but workers Will calculate and add inflation so If prices going up people use smart ways like invest in crypto and make profit or Simply taking money credit and live off the debt because the work wages not equal with their value of time. Anyways If i will be the company holder i rather pay higher money atleast i get the Job done specially now days when the new Job culture are not showing up on time. The truth is there is a lot people who have a lot money they want to spend that they someone who always cook for them and drive for them and there is more money than actually qualified people who could offering service and at the end of the day people just want to get things done and specially new class of society who got no time to talk about how much it cost they just need service and If they need to pay little more they got enough money. Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: SamReomo on May 09, 2024, 07:54:48 PM I highly disagree with you, most of the companies and services try their best to give minimum wages to the workers and that's a bitter reality.
It's not easy to earn $1000-$5000 as a normal worker these days. In fact most of the companies are reducing the number of workers because they can't pay them wages. Most of the workers that work in first world countries often come from third world countries, and they agree to work for 8-12 hours a day for $200-$500 per month. By keeping those in mind, I don't think whatever you said is true, I know that workers deserve to get good salaries for the amount of effort they put, but I don't think the companies pay them well. Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: Riginac111 on May 09, 2024, 09:08:40 PM For the aspect of companies hiring workers lesser than their demand it is because of electronic device that is on right now because what is making companies not to hire a large number of workers is because many of the companies is using robot to work and a digital work will reducees manual work this time around so I may say that that is why companies is not longer working with the human being mainly in their company

Everyone isn't MrBeast. YouTube and other online ventures can be profitable, but to the extent you're making it out to be and it's not a easily done, so only a handful of people will make a living from it in comparison with the entire populationYes, we are seeing a gradual shift to remote work rather than the usual days work of coming in, punching on your keyboard all day and clocking out. If society gets to a point where the minimum earner is naking at least $500 a day, the prices of goods in the market will adjust to make that equivalent to $12 today. If there's a country that will pay me $500 per day as an office boy, I will apply and start to work ASAP. It's not easy to take a good amount of loan, banks won't give you money if you can't give a valid collateral. Even you get some, there's no guarantee you can multiply it by trading. Most people are conservative, they choose to study or work abroad in developed countries. I heard that many developed countries e.g. Canada and Australia are in recession and unemployed due to too many immigrants, so it's still not easy. Earning money is not that easy and, in many countries, it is all the opposite. I'm not talking only about Cuba: even in the USA, those who don't have a degree often struggle to pay their bills (that's why they fear immigration, hate graduates, and vote for Trump ::)). Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: jrrsparkles on May 10, 2024, 04:02:00 PM Maybe in one or two cruise ships, someone is getting paid $7000 which I don't even think is true but there are also lots of people out there who want to do the job for very much less than what the company is paying to the current employees so many labor workers are recruited from third world countries and they hardly get paid $500 a month.
Even if someone is having billion dollars to spend they are to going to spend it like you said, they only pay if the employee is bring more value than what he is paid. Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: blckhawk on May 10, 2024, 04:34:16 PM I highly disagree with you, most of the companies and services try their best to give minimum wages to the workers and that's a bitter reality. Those that even have the decency to do so, they're the bad companies but there's one more much lower than that and those are the companies that give out dirt cheap wages to their workers, they're never going to see any problem doing that because they know that no one really complains even if they overwork themselves. For someone that came from a third world country, I can agree with you that $1000 is a difficult thing to earn here, that's a top tier employee salary here but that's still not enough to make you survive from all the bills. It's not easy to earn $1000-$5000 as a normal worker these days. It takes years to build and a lot of money too before the YouTuber begins to see some good cash. And this is not all of them. I agree with you that there is a shortage of labour. Most of the western countries are outsourcing that jobs to people on the internet and they are mostly people from developing countries who are willing to do this job. And right now I think there is a shift in workplace culture with employees scattered all over the globe working remotely or in situations they have a hybrid work system in place.

I can vouch for the fact that it's not as easy as it seems to get YouTube channel monetized and we have no idea about the youtubers who couldn't get any cash even after putting in lot of efforts. If we speak of job market and shortage of skilled labors yes there has been dependency from developed nations which is fulfilled by people from developing or underdeveloped nations but we see more people are taking up remote jobs and other means which will widen the gap between the demand and supply of skilled labors because now I see them getting educated and taking up much prestigious jobs. This is not happening. Job opportunities are scarce and its takes decent amount of effort to actually hire people especially groups of people to do a decent job which is why there is an outsourcing companies to take care of it. More and more people start to think how valueble are their time and often when company taking cheaper worker that might harm companies reputation and company can lose the customers. Have you ever been to a 3rd world countries? If you have not then you totally have no clue about what you are writing. I could tell you that in a 3rd world countries especially those with huge number of populations, its pretty normal to watch hundreds of people swarm onto a walk-in interview when there are only like 3-4 people that will be hired in the end. Thats how scarce jobs are in 3rd world countries Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: btc78 on May 10, 2024, 07:46:48 PM More and more people start to think how valueble are their time and often when company taking cheaper worker that might harm companies reputation and company can lose the customers. As they should to be honest. Workers need to be taken care of regardless of the nature of their jobs. Whether it’s physically taxing ir mentally taxing, they all deserve a good pay for what they do. But companies avoid that as much as they can. No matter how good their employees are, they’d still won’t want to pay them properly and that is why people are resigning. But at the same time people still keep their jobs because they have no choice so even if they do not deserve that kind of treatment they still accept it for the sake of earning. Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: bluebit25 on May 10, 2024, 09:18:37 PM (...) The reality is that people struggle with different jobs to pay for life expenses, the few standing at the top looking down think everything is simple but going through difficult things that companionship is always measured with salary :) No one wants to work miserable and get low pay, and conversely, idly jobs get high pay at the expense of good qualifications. I don't know where you live to talk about such high salaries, and see how many people have access to that job. I don't know that in some countries with leading economies they pay for those services which may be large in cash but the cost of living also suffocates them, not everywhere is a luxury like Dubai, so be realistic with your abilities and work. As well as sympathizing with the difficult times the general economy affects businesses, not every field receives positive results in sales growth. Title: Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how Post by: Renampun on May 10, 2024, 09:35:55 PM It is difficult to make someone understand what the impact of paying a salary is to someone who has never founded or built a company at all. If you have a company, you will definitely pay attention to the cash flow of that company. Imagine paying a high salary but it turns out your business is not full of demand, will you be able to maintain the business? Of course not, however, company finances are not as easy as you think, you have to think hard, you even have to hire the right people so that the money you spend to pay employee salaries every month can be on target.

From where I am, this can only exist in a dream. Here, companies aren't having a hard time looking for workers. Despite extended working hours, too much work loads, no overtime pay, less than minimum wage, uncomfortable work places, toxic setup, cruel bosses, and other disadvantages, jobs remain coveted. One vacancy can have hundreds of applicants. Jobseekers are even submitting applications to companies that aren't hiring.

But at the same time people still keep their jobs because they have no choice so even if they do not deserve that kind of treatment they still accept it for the sake of earning. An increase in a company's revenue doesn't necessarily mean an increase in the salaries of workers. Employers will always stick to the minimum wage even when they are making so much profit. Shareholders and the top management staff would rather increase their dividends and allowances than increase workers' pay. With the rate of unemployment in most developing nations workers are willing to take pay below the minimum wage just to survive. The employment market is highly competitive and workers are willing to take what they are offered. I hope you've come up with this theory based on what's happening in reality. This might also be the effect of the growing popularity of artificial intelligence. Most jobs that would have been handled by humans have been delegated to machines who perform these tasks effectively and efficiently. This has caused the reduction of human workers in some organizations. Many people here live in richer countries within Europe or the USA, Canada, Australia, erc. So it is hard to see the context of "bad workers," because they do exist, but generally everyone has a basic level of education so they are not functionally bad, maybe they just have some traits that need fixing like lateness or poor spelling. It can be a major adjustment for people ending their stay in the education system to adjust to how the real world of business actually exists. However if you are talking about certain parts of Africa or Asia, where people are often lacking the most basic knowledge or skills, then that is a problem that their government should be helping to solve and is not entirely the average workers fault. |
