Title: Bitcoin Will always Survive
Post by: MarissaLopez on May 09, 2024, 12:36:04 PM
Bitcoin is recorded as the first and most well known crypto currency in the world.not disputing the fact that there have been so many controversies surrounding it,it is still believed that Bitcoin will always survive and continue to be a leading form of digital currency cutting across the World globally.
   Although there are certain risk factors involved with Bitcoin but it's not been limited by that and most likely will tend to survive and thrive in the future,moreso reasons why Bitcoin will likely survive are thus;

1. Decentralized Nature
2. Security
3. Limited supply
4. Potential adoption.

Decentralized Nature: This means that no single entity such as a government or bank has control over it,and this makes it resistant to corruption or interference by any centralized authorities.

Security: Bitcoin uses cryptography to secure the transactions that happens in the network making it highly resistant to fraud and hacks.

Limited supply:  Bitcoin has a fixed supply of coins of over 21 million that makes it not inflated and scarce like fiat currencies.

Potential adoption:  Generally a massive number of business owners and individuals are accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payments thereby reducing it's demise.
In conclusion since Bitcoin has survived such attacks from government ,hacks, criticisers, scammers, covid, insurgency etc.bitcoin will still survive in the years to come even if the World war begins and it will do so due to its decentralized Nature, technological advancement and lots more and thus skyrocket to being the leading digital currency.

Bitcoin will remain a leader in any respect. In terms of market capacity, it may be displaced in the future. In terms of fees, there are cheaper blockchains. In terms of privacy or development, there are better projects, but in the end, Bitcoin remains Bitcoin, and with all the problems of scalability, there is still betting on it, which will gain it demand that will make it. Among them are among the best cryptocurrency options.

Keeping the technical aspects aside in layman's terms I would say it has survived for over a decade and faced all sort of challenges from being threatened to be banned to being called scam and being targeted as a medium of terror funding but it has survived of of these accusations and sabotage that's itself is enough for us to understand Bitcoin is not a bubble or weak asset and it would continue to sustain.

That is true and people should stop denying the inevitable. Bitcoin will not always be the currency at the top as technology will advance and we will be able to understand the realm of digital currencies better. For sure we will be able to create a cryptocurrency that checks all the boxes and even though this hypothetical project will replace bitcoin, it can not go unnotice that none of it would have been possible without the creation of bitcoin.

Despite the positive and a lot of negative events that had happened in the past years, Bitcoin is still alive and kicking. Based on the chart above, you can clearly see that it is very bullish and just waiting for us to fill in our bags so we won't miss the next ATH. Aside from being the pioneering decentralized digital currency, Bitcoin is also a future proof currency and investment asset. Achieving financial freedom through it is just a bonus or perk for being part of it's existence as long as someone is able to get even some portion of it on their wallets.

Starting from were the whole crypto started from so what do you expect from market control definitely bitcoin will control the markets. And even during the bear market, bitcoin will standout. And if you look at it other altcoins started from bitcoin. And that is why anything that happens in the market bitcoin is always responsible and will always determine the outcome of the market. It’s not necessarily you go for bitcoin because I will always consider my capital before investing. There are a lot of them that you can invest in is just for you to make the right decision when selecting your asset to investing so that you don invest and the next thing will be that the project will crash due to bear.

Bitcoin is the first crypto coin and is also used as a legal currency in many countries. so Bitcoin can never be expected to be a scam. Bitcoin is getting more and more popular day by day and people are showing interest in it. so it is certainly expected that Bitcoin will survive forever. many people are profiting by using long-term investments in Bitcoin, which is why many people are now investing in Bitcoin instead of keeping their money in the bank too. so now investing on bitcoin is a very smart thinking

In terms of fee and privacy, there are already some options that can be used in the Bitcoin network but only a few in the crypto community acknowledge. In the end, everything points out that most people are only after profit-making from the market.

I agree with some of the arguments you give that Bitcoin has been tested under all conditions, but if the role of the Third World occurs this cannot necessarily be credited. A world war that occurs on a large scale could turn off electricity and internet sources, this could affect the journey of bitcoin, because if that happens people will not care about investment but rather how to survive in conditions of chaos.

If world conditions are normal like now then I am sure bitcoin will continue to gain a place for humans because now we are starting to feel that this system has shown advantages than before. Bitcoin is a source of freedom for anyone involved in it because people can reach the stage of financial freedom independently.

Bitcoin has come so far and it has come to stay and nobody can remove it because of it decentralized nature, individuals and government have been fighting to stop bitcoin when it started to became popular but all were not succeeded and the Cybersecurity of bitcoin is very tight that no hacker can penetrate to the bitcoin server and change the narrative. And in all countries individuals adopt bitcoin massively than the government. The countries tht have adopted bitcoin are just few.

But there is a new trend that is going on the State level, countries are stated disturbing cryptocurrency exchanges by banning the p2p in their countries. Which is the lastest ways to crackdown cryptocurrency activities in the world since they can't control the decentralized cryptocurrencies then they went to the Centralized Exchanges to  list the details of people that are using cryptocurrency.

Decentralized Nature: This means that no single entity such as a government or bank has control over it,and this makes it resistant to corruption or interference by any centralized authorities.

p2p has made it more easy and simple to achieve, you don't have to go through a centralized institution or authority before you can be able to achieve the use of bitcoin.

Security: Bitcoin uses cryptography to secure the transactions that happens in the network making it highly resistant to fraud and hacks.

If you don't create a vulnerability for others to attack you of your asset in bitcoin, then the blockchain technology has all it uses to make that safety achieved along with the bitcoin protocols.

Potential adoption:  Generally a massive number of business owners and individuals are accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payments thereby reducing it's demise.

People chose to make use of bitcoin in their financial economy because of the various opportunities seen in it adoption in which other currencies or financial assets could not offer them including government.

These alone should tell you that Bitcoin is the best and will always be the best cryptocurrency that is here to give us financial freedom. With Bitcoin, you can save your money without any doubt and fear of inflation, because Bitcoin is decentralized and holding Bitcoin gives you profit because the price is volatile and it’s possible general global adoption and its halving theory will make its value more high and will always be recognized because cryptocurrency has come to ATH and Bitcoin is their pioneer and they can not survive without it because it’s price controls the entire market.

I agree 100%. There's inherent value in Bitcoin. You have pretty much summed up why. That said, I also think you can benefit from diversifying your portfolio and investing in altcoins as well. After all, when Bitcoin's value rises, the alts always follow. Naturally, one should study the alts out there and make informed choices. I use a crypto trading bot to ensure my portfolio remains balanced with the right percentage of BTC and promising and established altcoins to maximize my profits when Bitcoin reaches 100k.

Bitcoin's existence depends on human needs, so as long as people still have needs, it will not disappear, but if we no longer need it, it will soon be forgotten .

Personally , I believe that the bitcoin revolution is only in its infancy and that bitcoin could be around for a long time to come. But to say it will last forever, no one can be sure, so don't rush to draw conclusions for the future when we have nothing to prove. The world is constantly evolving, bitcoins have been created and I wouldn't be surprised if in the future something better than bitcoins is created.

Actually, no one knows for sure whether Bitcoin will always survive or not, because Bitcoin can still be said to be a new technology even though it is already a decade and a half old. However, Bitcoin can be said to have succeeded in becoming the center of attention of all groups and continues to be adopted.
So I think Bitcoin will continue to survive as long as it provides financial benefits because most people want it, and besides that Bitcoin has many other great uses for those who use and hold it. And only major disasters and full-blown world wars that cause the internet to malfunction or shut down make Bitcoin unusable.

In the context of war, we don't really need bitcoin because what we need is self -salvation.
Bitcoin There are no two of the many aspects that I realized for more or less even two years of time I was to learn it. In market capitalization, Bitcoin is still the best even though one day there will be another coin that is able to pass it.
In terms of hedge, I still admit Bitcoin as the best in the long run.
Privacy, Bitcoin is also the best. As an electronic cash system, Bitcoin is also very good.
Of all the advantages of Bitcoin, Bitcoin will not be a follower like another coin that follows Bitcoin.

I think that was a typo error, and what Yamane meant to write was 'leader in (many) respect' and I quite agree with his/her assertion. Whether another coin dethrones it in future as the number cryptocurrency, bitcoin will always be a leader in the industry. It's the first crypto to hit a trillion marketcap, first crypto to be traded as an ETF, first crypto to hit a billion transaction and many other landmark achievements.

This is difficult to know, I consider gold to be many times better than fiat, and despite this gold was displaced from its dominant position by governments that wanted to abuse the characteristics of fiat to their benefit, my point is that not necessarily the most advanced coin will remain at the top, and bitcoin is in such a dominant position already, that it will take a concerted effort or a coin that was so much better than bitcoin to replace it.

OP: I think it's not about bitcoin surviving, that is, your context, I understand, but, It seems that you always have to justify its existence, when it is no longer necessary, it is Bitcoin. So, that idea from the title of your topic, it is as if it were in crisis, or that something unforeseen could happen to it, I like the idea better, that no matter what happens in the future, Bitcoin will always be useful.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that Bitcoin will always survive. Everything dies at some point, and human civilization has been around for a very short time on the scale of the universe. But even if we look at humanity, there's no knowing how relevant Bitcoin will be 50 years from now, or especially further into the future. We don't know where humanity's development (or degradation) will lead us, and whether Bitcoin is a part of that future.
The features mentioned by op are important and relevant, and I expect Bitcoin to thrive for decades to come, but the future remains unknown and largely unpredictable.

Hoping that if we are all here getting older we have some Bitcoins to hodl cause we are all know how important Bitcoin is in our daily lifestyle. We can get a big profits someday.

If bitcoin could survive early attacks and challenges that means Bitcoin is here to stay and it will continue to exist. Before now they tried to frustrate people from using Bitcoin bit all the plan didn't work instead Bitcoin is even getting more awareness everyday and it is making a positive impact in people's financial life. Indeed bitcoin is not a weak asset, with every challenge it still remains asset of good value.

Yep, and for me with all those years and challenges it proves that it is here to stay.
So many controversy, negative accusations and fake news has come but it is still standing tall, and the best part is even all those negativity it manage to climb up and always shows community that it would come back higher every time it falls down.
The price just keeps on bouncing higher setting new records of ATH every cycle.

Yes, because even after some more know, there will still be various FUDs about Bitcoin and various negative articles about Bitcoin aimed at bringing down Bitcoin and crypto in general. Or because it is true that negative news is deliberately created for various specific conditions and manipulations. There are many possibilities for this to happen.

So, in fact, what is there to be ashamed of about Bitcoin, right? Because basically it becomes a digital currency, if used as a transaction tool. However, in the end it tends to become a very valuable investment and many people get success from this. So from here there will probably be a lot of thoughts and considerations from various parties, especially those who don't like Bitcoin or don't like people who are successful because of Bitcoin, so we often encounter FUD that is always spreading.

So here, when we invest in Bitcoin, of course we should be aware of the various pluses and minuses, including the risks. So if someone seems to panic when the price drops drastically and the price has not gone high again, then there is no need to worry because the Bitcoin price will return to its target anyway, we just need to wait more patiently.

Sometimes, the attack doesn't comes from government, it comes from this organization and even firm that as something on the stock market that usually attack Bitcoin with their hateful comment, if the government really want to attack Bitcoin and they really mean it, I don't think we will have Bitcoin by now because they can really make Bitcoin go away if they really want to but some countries are innovation friendly, they wouldn't want to allow something that was build by someone for many years go wasted.

I just think that Bitcoin is doing what it's doing now because of fear from dump, you see that $62k range you are seeing that everyone is bullish on, if the government really want it to stop exist or attack Bitcoin, that price can crash to $20k because of the expectations everyone has for the bull run but they wouldn't attack it. However, the government wouldn't let people used Bitcoin the way it was intended.

It will survive because people trust it.
Despite some aggressive market attacks and some controversial discussions of the SEC, Bitcoin still gains positive responses from the community. It dumps due to some panic selling which is normal event but it rises back because many people stay strong and optimistic about the future of Bitcoin.

One factor that makes people become interested in this is the decentralized features. We believe that having this gives us more freedom and more privacy which fiat money can't provide. But if we talk about security, that is uncertain as we are prone to hacking and this it makes too risky.

Decentralized Nature: This means that no single entity such as a government or bank has control over it,and this makes it resistant to corruption or interference by any centralized authorities.

Security: Bitcoin uses cryptography to secure the transactions that happens in the network making it highly resistant to fraud and hacks.

We just have to stick to the ones that becomes favorable for us though it can be challenging for us. If you are referring to cryto that may have issues in the future, then you should mention altcoin. No matter the attacks on Bitcoin, I don't think the technology can fail. For some reasons, such as decentralization of Bitcoin and the fact that the founder of Bitcoin (Satoshi) is not known, the only way to stop Bitcoin transaction is if internet connection is disallowed, and it's  not possible to do that.

I actually believe that Bitcoin will continue to live. Although we can not predict the future.

Bitcoin is money, one of the functions of money is being a store of value - it means maintaining a stable value, or slowly increasing its value, or at the very least only slowly losing the value, like in case with fiat's inflation.

Suriving in any case is great and important, but losing 90% of value would be almost the same as losing 100% of value, especially those that only use Bitcoin as a store of value and not for payments. And there are many possible events that could wipe out most of Bitcoin's value, like a global ban on Bitcoin related operations for banks and other financial services. That would kill liquidity and kill the price.

You do have a point. The technology of bitcoin, I think, has more to offer. I mean, for sure, in the future or following years, some might integrate the technology of bitcoin, which is blockchain, which is a good sign that the technology of bitcoin can be used in more implementations, and of course, bitcoin itself. We can see many projects derived from bitcoin, and I think the only limit here is, yeah, the internet; without it, bitcoin or any crypto currency will not survive.

That's why I also believe that no matter what bitcoin will always reign, it will not stop to impress and shock us, and the time that all bitcoin is mined, we can expect that it is not the end; maybe it will be the start of a greater technology and implementation of bitcoin, and I believe in the people that invested in bitcoin that we will not let bitcoin fall down.

1. Decentralized Nature
2. Security
3. Limited supply
4. Potential adoption.
While these factors suggest a robust framework for Bitcoin's survival, its future is still uncertain due to factors like regulator challenges, competition from other cryptocurrency (less chance), and the technical and practical challenges associated with scaling the technology for widespread use.

Of course it will survive. But not in the way you think. Bitcoin will become institutionalized and heavily-regulated by mainstream governments. It will be quite challenging to obtain true financial freedom. Especially with KYC and surveillance all over the place. The days of true decentralization and censorship-resistance are coming to an end.

With the path Bitcoin is taking, don't expect things to get better anytime soon. We can blame people for relying on BTC as a store of value than a currency. "Wall Street" is now in the game, and it's already too late. Don't want to sound pessimistic, but these are the facts. I wonder if there's still hope for BTC?  :-\

BTC is an investment instrument and we are also a component of the market cycle too. Maybe the financial condition of society is still not good enough at this time. Yes, that's right, As long as there is a need and demand comes BTC will always be there.

Indeed, nothing is impossible in future evolution and new developments, but currently BTC is still in its position.

I don't like the idea of bitcoin being institutionalized because that would mean that it will never become accessible for the masses which bitcoin I believe is the one that deserves to have them as their way out of thickets we call poverty. Becoming an institutional investor tool will definitely make bitcoin go to more unprecedented heights but the problem is from the fact that institutional investors will also gatekeep this and it would become a big hurdle for small/retail investors to invest in bitcoin even with a little money because there's just too many blockades that are getting in the way for those people to invest. That's why I believe that it's a race against time now to acquire as much bitcoin as you can because you will never know when will you get more bitcoins.

Bitcoin must survive bitcoin has always been the king in the crypto market and the demand for bitcoin is increasing day by day. These coins can be used to protect privacy and make financial transactions online. Since cryptocurrency transactions are conducted through the blockchain network there is no proof of origin. That's why bitcoin reaches where money or dollars don't. Many countries around the world are legalizing bitcoin and governments are benefiting their countries through the use of bitcoin alternatively everyone is getting into crypto.

"Wall Street" is now in the game, and it's already too late. Don't want to sound pessimistic, but these are the facts. I wonder if there's still hope for BTC?  :-\

I also don't want to be pessimistic and spread Fud but I agree with what you said , the days of freedom and censorship-resistance will soon end. The government probably won't be able to control the bitcoin network , but they will find a way to regulate and control all of our bitcoin investors. I have said that if we want bitcoin to become popular, it is inevitable that we will be regulated. Many people are too subjective and think that the government will not be able to do anything to us and we will become free with bitcoin, they underestimated the government and now look at what the government is doing. We still live in a world where the government is the manager and controller of everything and finding ways to fight them has never brought us any good results.

Bitcoin's existence depends on human needs, so as long as people still have needs, it will not disappear, but if we no longer need it, it will soon be forgotten .

BTC is an investment instrument and we are also a component of the market cycle too. Maybe the financial condition of society is still not good enough at this time. Yes, that's right, As long as there is a need and demand comes BTC will always be there.

The world is constantly evolving, bitcoins have been created and I wouldn't be surprised if in the future something better than bitcoins is created.

Indeed, nothing is impossible in future evolution and new developments, but currently BTC is still in its position.

I am confident that bitcoin will be the asset that receives the most attention this decade or century, but that doesn't mean it will last forever or that nothing superior will be created . Many people are crazy about bitcoin to the point of denying reality, but I prefer reality , and as long as the world doesn't stop, it's only a matter of time before new , superior technologies are created. But that won't happen anytime soon and we don't need to worry too much about it, let's enjoy the present and our present is bitcoin . The more bitcoins we accumulate, the better our lives will be, which is what we should focus on.

Bitcoin will leave longer than human and one thing for sure is that the more Bitcoin getting old the more it become demand. Even though nothing is permanent in this world but still Bitcoin will remain for long time. If the generation nowadays keep educated about Bitcoin then they can share it to our next generations. Hoping that if we are all here getting older we have some Bitcoins to hodl cause we are all know how important Bitcoin is in our daily lifestyle. We can get a big profits someday.

If you mean live longer than human, then I don't agree. That's an exaggeration. In the first place, the network is alive precisely because there are humans running it. Without humanity, without activity, the network dies. Bitcoin isn't oxygen or whatever it is that's completely independent from human beings. Bitcoin is dependent on humans. It functions because of human activities.

But let's not even go as far as that. Bitcoin will one day become obsolete. Bitcoin is not yet even in its perfect form. It's still in beta. Something better will always come. It may not be within the foreseeable future, but it will happen. Nothing stays forever.

I have seen many reasons why Bitcoin will continue to surviving in the crypto industry, because it has been leading among other cryptocurrencies to make many investors to know that there are strong team behind Bitcoin, to ensure it survive in any conditions. when lockdown came during pandemic some years ago, many people thought Bitcoin will not going to survive in that situation in the world, because it was affecting Centralized currency to reduce the value but Bitcoin value was increasing massively through out the pandemic to prove to the world that Bitcoin will continue surviving as a decentralized currency. If you have the capital to invest in Bitcoin, I will advice you to invest in Bitcoin, because it will going to break into a new ATH that will make some countries to lift their banned from Bitcoin in their countries so that they can be part of the benefits of Bitcoin.

Many coins have appeared, and many projects have emerged which are always said to be going to beat Bitcoin, but none of them have succeeded in realizing what they say, in fact they only copy-paste what Bitcoin has done and still fail to beat Bitcoin, let alone beat even close to Bitcoin they can't.
Bitcoin is the leader at the moment and there is no doubt about that, even though many countries are trying to make it regulated they cannot stop its development, it's just that more people consider it an investment rather than a means of payment.

The price just keeps on bouncing higher setting new records of ATH every cycle.
for those who says that bitcoin will die or will be gone in time are those who wanted to have a big chance of buying more chunks of bitcoin when the market falls badly and this is their advantages.
bitcoin is here to stay though we do not know how much it will grow in the long years but at least in our lifetime it will stay like what we did in the past 14 years.

Since its initial launch, Bitcoin has received a lot of rejection, starting from the government and many people. Many say that it's not scalable, it's inefficient, it's ineffective, and it's just a ponzi scheme. Furthermore, Bitcoin is associated as a system that could threaten the existence of the banking system, and there are many negative rumors which are the reasons why Bitcoin needs to be banned or eliminated. But even so, Bitcoin still exists to this day. It has gone through many trials and various negative things which have threatened its market. But the proof is that Bitcon is actually growing and recently it even scored its latest ATH last March. This shows that Bitcoin will continue to survive even though many people don't like it.

Much controversy has surrounded Bitcoin because it is considered a threat by governments and financial institutions around the world to the fiat money system and risks losing control of their monetary policies. Bitcoin remains the best choice for now and the future because it does not require or be regulated by a centralized authority and Bitcoin also does not have intrinsic value like fiat currencies.
The consequence of not being able to be controlled by the government, like fiat currency, whose value can easily be influenced by government regulations, means that the monetary authority or central bank's role is increasingly threatened due to Bitcoin's increasingly global popularity. Its value is determined by supply and demand, making Bitcoin development increase every year, in fact it can be seen its development as the cryptocurrency with the largest market value in the world.

Trust me, there will be always anyone saying Bitcoin will die every time the price of Bitcoin is crashing.  ;D
And even though this happens continuously but is not proven, one day they will still say the same thing. This idea is not something to be afraid of, but more like their dislike and desire to worsen Bitcoin's image, but they still can't. Because Bitcoin is Bitcoin, its meaning will still exist and will not die easily just because of various issues that have hit it so far.

We have experienced various Bitcoin cycles, from bearish to bullish and vice versa. And how Bitcoin has experienced periods of increases, crashes and sideways. Everything has its time. So, we no longer need to feel panic in any situation.

And until now, there are probably still many people who think that bitcoin is a threat to their country, so they don't want it, even though there are only a few countries that somehow recognize bItcoin.

   Although there are certain risk factors involved with Bitcoin but it's not been limited by that and most likely will tend to survive and thrive in the future,moreso reasons why Bitcoin will likely survive are thus;

1. Decentralized Nature
2. Security
3. Limited supply
4. Potential adoption.

The main reason for Bitcoin to survive is because it is decentralized. There is no body that can claim to be the father of Bitcoin apart from its true father, Satoshi. I was reading a very old thread and one person said in his comments, "To bring down Bitcoin entirely, then Satoshi needs to be captured". Since Bitcoin is not being controlled by anybody in particular, like the way this forum is being managed by a known moderator, then Bitcoin can not be brought down.

moreso reasons why Bitcoin will likely survive are thus

Bitcoin would keep staying on top other coins because it's a reputable crypto currency and  most largest in a scale of adoption that has also attained the greatest security mechanized features and also the potentialities to maintain stable valuability.

you can't really tell for sure, reason is because you don't know if there are still upcoming coins that can take the position of bitcoin, you can't really predict what will happen in years coming. However let's take for instance when bitcoin has no value, have you ask yourself that when bitcoin has no value which coin was at the top Before bitcoin came to take the place? you need to think about this before saying that bitcoin will keep staying at the top there are still a lot of coins that  are yet to be listed in the market, you can't really predict the future of those coins not until they are listed you don't know if they can overtake bitcoin, so all we need to do is to keep watching and see what will happen in years to come. I'm not saying that bitcoin won't survive but rather i don't think if bitcoin will still remain at the top forever.

The way Bitcoin bounces is unique. It proves this isnt a fad but a financial revolution. Bitcoin persists despite doubts, government control, and market chaos. That resiliency is decentralization's power. Bitcoin is owned by anyone, therefore no single point of failure. The system is powerful because its administered by and for the people.

The real genius is security and limited supply. Bitcoin's advanced cryptography makes it nearly unhackable. Trust grows from safe transactions. Since there will only be a limited supply of Bitcoin, governments cant create more and manipulate its value. This gadget is built to last, and more people utilizing it will increase its value. Its thrilling to be discussing a potential international currency's early days!

You are truly a writing genius, reading what you describe about bitcoin makes me feel like bitcoin is perfect like god, without any drawbacks and bitcoin was created to heal this world, LOL.

If you think bitcoin cannot be manipulated, can you explain to me why it has such high volatility, can go up and down 10%-20% with just one news about inflation, or a fake news spread in the market? With an asset capitalization of only 2 trillion USD, smaller than the market capitalization of an American technology company, and this is a free market. How can the market avoid being manipulated?
You're right, the government probably won't have time to manipulate bitcoin, bitcoin is being manipulated by market makers, whales, sharks, not the government.

Bitcoin will "survive" in the same way IBM mainframes have "survived". There's no reason Bitcoin won't stay around forever.

As for whether it will remain at this price level, or drop to $100 or go to $100,000, well, that's anybody's guess.

But when it comes to technology, centralized is the future of digital currency. The blockchain architecture doesn't solve any problems large numbers of people have. A centralized architecture is faster, cheaper, more secure, and can scale to the level that will replace every single monetary transaction that happens every day between humans.

But Bitcoin still "works" just fine, just like the IBM mainframes that power many banks do. But digital currency is still very young, and we haven't yet seen the equivalent of the PC let alone the iPhone in this business. There will be major changes yet to come.

But because this is only said with his mouth without revealing what is in his heart, the person is not considered a liar even though one day this will be proven when he starts to like buying Bitcoin at low prices. Because actually a person like that is someone who likes Bitcoin, just because he can't afford to buy it at a high price, he starts looking for ways to say bad things about Bitcoin.

The survival of Bitcoin will depend on the acceptance i.e. if people all over the world can accept the acceptance and universality of Bitcoin then Bitcoin will survive in the world.  Moreover, due to the limited supply of Bitcoin, there is no possibility of inflation of the Bitcoin currency.  Also it's completely decentralized so no third party can control it so I think for now if there are no other issues Bitcoin has the potential to last the world generation after generation.

I'm sure till today, not all people over the world already accept Bitcoin, Warren Buffet is among them.

I really doubt Bitcoin will keep completely decentralized till the last world generation because every halving events makes Bitcoin no longer profitable to mine for small miners. So, it's only big mining farms in country with cheap electricity will survive.

Bitcoin has experienced even greater DIPs in the past, these are just mere short-term market fluctuations, and I believe those who are considering Bitcoin for its long-term potential are not moved by the current fluctuations because they are all certain about the fact that it'll recover and surpass it's current ATH.

The only people that are mostly affected by this DIP are those who are considering Bitcoin for its short-term gain. Trying to time the market to see when the right time is to buy and to sell is a good example of considering Bitcoin for its short-term gain, which is a very unhealthy approach because when you've tried to predict the market and the market goes the opposite direction, it'll stir up your emotions and when that happens, you could end up making uninformed and illogical decisions.

Totally agree with what you said, they continue to use issues that are not good for everyone to believe in. Bitcoin cannot possibly be lost and will survive forever, because the creator has released all his technology from the pursuit of international financial institutions or the world that does not like this asset.

Yes, if you look at history from the beginning, Bitcoin is no longer just an arbitrary asset, Bitcoin has been able to compete with other assets such as large stocks in the investment world. If you look at the development of world stock growth and bitcoin, I think bitcoin has increased much faster so far.

Bitcoin is recorded as the first and most well known crypto currency in the world.
You might be surprised but Bitcoin is not the first cryptocurrency, the first cryptocurrency was eCash, created by DigiCash in 1990 but Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that had the best start and managed to take over the financial world and move it to another level.

Decentralized Nature: This means that no single entity such as a government or bank has control over it,and this makes it resistant to corruption or interference by any centralized authorities.
Bitcoin is decentralized by nature but it's not resistant to corruption and it's not prone to centralized authorities. In theory, with lots of power and finances, it's possible to gain significant control on Bitcoin.

I don't know if Bitcoin lasts forever but it's definitely going to last a long time.

We don't expect everyone to like Bitcoin. There are people that would still hate even though the government makes it legal for payment of services. Bitcoin is a peer to peer digital money that do not need a third party to process the transaction.
When looking at it on how everything about Bitcoin is broken down, there are people that are ready to influence others not to invest in Bitcoin. There are so many people who had become a millionaire buying and holding Bitcoin for long now.

I don't agree with this one, the points that are being pointed out doesn't regard every other factor that might cause bitcoin to crash a global disaster for one could easily do that elimination of bitcoin, just big monsoons, storms/typhoons and tornadoes and you'll see that things are so easy to destroy and how fickle and weak our technology is to the elements. Maybe in terms of the tech and financial related attacks, bitcoin might be able to withstand those but other things, that's going to remain to be seen before we can say for sure. Even all the stuff that you're talking about OP are pretty much things that remain to be seen to prove that bitcoin really is what you think it is.

I've been thinking about this, I wonder if bitcoin becomes stable will people continue to support it or will most people abandon it in search of another alternative asset? Many people always claim they love bitcoin because it is decentralized, gives them privacy... but I believe the biggest purpose is still profit, not because of any other factor. So, if bitcoin is no longer volatile and no longer profitable, I think there will be a majority leaving bitcoin.

From the beginning, if bitcoin had become a peer-to-peer currency, I believe it would not be as popular as it is today because not everyone cares about privacy and decentralization. In this world, money is still the top priority.

Most likely it people would go check for other alternatives when it comes to which would be the most profitable however I think bitcoin can be used as it was intended to be used. It would most likely be used just as a normal currency instead of an investment.

I really don't see any connection between Trump and bitcoin, he is not a bitcoin supporter or the creator of bitcoin. I heard that he declared his support for cryptocurrency and was willing to accept election donations in cryptocurrency, but that action was just his ploy to get votes. That is not enough to prove that he will bring real benefits to bitcoin if he is elected, be careful what politicians say.

Until whenever there will never be a coin that is able to replace Bitcoin because as far as developments have passed there are many other coins that are not able to survive. Even the closest coins that have large market capitalization are also unable to make competition in terms of prices on the market. And vice versa with the level of security because Bitcoin will be much safer when intersection in a place that is proper and not left at the intersection on the Exchange.

Until whenever I have never seen the price of Bitcoin stable and because this is what makes Bitcoin increasingly the best asset. Something stable can be controlled and it is not the purpose of Bitcoin to be created because Bitcoin will always be speculative on its journey. There is always a process of correction and recovery in its journey and until whenever it can never be separated in the market.

Bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency world, and it will remain so for as long as this world exists, and the popularity of Bitcoin will continue to grow day by day. Bitcoin is very advanced in all aspects and people invest here always with trust, Bitcoin provides security to people and what transactions are very confidential. Currently, we can see that there are many cryptocurrencies all over the world, but they become many scams, but only Bitcoin will remain and it will never cheat anyone. The current situation of Bitcoin is that we will be able to place it in a better position in the future, as the demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day, so its popularity is high. Bitcoin is the best currency among the best projects that get a lot of benefits by investing and trading and trusted currency that has no alternative.

True, Bitcoin will still be popular as it's not all about the fees but the value and worth that it has got currently. And removing that worth isn't going to be taken away any moment now. That's why even if we've seen that the fees have been so high, many of us won't be worried about its price and that's why it will survive because it is here to stay and this the center of the entire crypto market.

Many years have passed but from the start of development Bitcoin is the king of all crypto coins and still it is one of the most acceptable coins due to which no other coin has ever taken the place of Bitcoin.

In case of security there is no more better secure asset than Bitcoin and the access to your Bitcoin investment is only possible if you have security keys with you.
I think Bitcoin is not stable and due to its unstable nature we are able to make profit from it but if its value was stable then we will not be able to make money through Bitcoin investment.

Bitcoin reigns supremely in crypto. Many pretenders have come and gone, but none have touched Bitcoin. Not only money, but trust. Bitcoin is the top dog because people worldwide believe in it. No asset is more secure than it when properly secured. Thats why its always first. How about price swings? A strength, not a weakness. It makes Bitcoin the best investment because of its excitement. A tool, not simply a coin. Tool that displays real-time market sentiment. Bitcoin is designed to recover from losses. That makes it the best tool for skilled players who want to win large. Bitcoin is the future.

By "IBM Mainframes", are you implying Bitcoin will become obsolete in the future? I know altcoins have better features than BTC, but none can outmatch its level of security, reliability, and censorship-resistance. Given that Bitcoin has come a long way since 2009, it's hard to imagine it will die anytime soon. Institutional adoption is increasing at a very fast pace. What I don't like is that most people are relying on BTC as a store of value than a currency. It will never be able to replace Fiat this way.

If Bitcoin survives, I hope it never becomes centralized. We should stop selling our BTC to institutional investors if we want to encourage self-custody. If they acquire all of the BTC, then you'd need to trust a middleman to buy/sell the cryptocurrency (something Satoshi meant to avoid in the first place). The future is unpredictable, so lets hope for the best. :)

Potential adoption:  Generally a massive number of business owners and individuals are accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payments thereby reducing it's demise..

I think about the adoption of BTC for its development, it is real that it is currently increasing day by day, it's just that market conditions will continue to rise and fall and most argue that fluctuating and speculative prices are also a common condition and can easily change in an instant like today. Maybe with this condition we can also see a consistent and inconsistent investor at this time whether he survives or will change his investment pattern.

IBM mainframes are not obsolete, and they are still a multi-billion dollar business.

They are just no longer the "hottest thing" for most consumers, that's all.

I know altcoins have better features than BTC, but none can outmatch its level of security, reliability, and censorship-resistance.

As we've discussed in another thread, Bitcoin is no longer "censorship resistant" by itself (e.g. without mixers etc.) because of chain analysis. Criminals no longer use Bitcoin because of this--they will get caught if they do.

Even if it were, most consumers simply don't care about that, as is shown by the fact that almost all Bitcoin investors get Bitcoin through a broker or app, which is centralized.

Bitcoin is indeed very good for its stability as a project, and it's broad network. But lots of products can match that, and do. Again, 99% of Bitcoin investors rely on a centralized database governed by a single private company to hold their Bitcoin. That demonstrates they simply don't care about "decentralization" and all of that stuff.

Quote

Bitcoin will never replace mainstream daily transactions, and it was never meant to. Such a currency would need to scale to levels thousands of times larger than Bitcoin, and the blockchain architecture is intentionally slow by design (https://medium.com/@stephen-r-thomas/blockchain-is-slow-and-expensive-by-design-c822e8a9465d). The problem it was trying to solve was ""censorship resistance"", not trying to be a common payment method.

If people did what you are suggesting, the price of Bitcoin would drop by 95%, so... people aren't going to do what you are suggesting :).

Bitcoin is going to be fine, but it's not going to be the last word in digital currency, that's all. There will be new things that will be even cooler than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is recorded as the first and most well known crypto currency in the world.not disputing the fact that there have been so many controversies surrounding it,it is still believed that Bitcoin will always survive and continue to be a leading form of digital currency cutting across the World globally.
   Although there are certain risk factors involved with Bitcoin but it's not been limited by that and most likely will tend to survive and thrive in the future,moreso reasons why Bitcoin will likely survive are thus;

All these things that are happening to bitcoin improves my confidence towards the crypto industry despite us not having any solid narrative to peg the bull run to at this point. The fact alone that bitcoin is at a stage in its cycle where it's "too big to fail horribly" makes me want to hold on to my cryptocurrencies, cause as with every dead airs in a bull season like in the past few years, there's a very possible chance that we could lose everything, especially when the market makers lose their shit and pull their money out of the industry.

For now, I guess what we could just do is hope and remain confident about the sole fact that bitcoin's too big to lose now, and that there is a good chance we'd stumble upon a market defining narrative soon enough, after all, bull seasons usually go full speed a year after the halving, so we still have ample time to hoard and HODL.

Sidenote: there's nothing potential anymore about bitcoin's adoption, it's not a matter of "How?" anymore but a matter of "When?" for a lot of outside ventures since people are quickly noticing the benefits that bitcoin was able to provide its loyal investors.

We all here have seen the development of Bitcoin which is very good and have believed that anyone who can invest in Bitcoin of course they are very sure that by investing they have prepared themselves for a better future, this is true with the price of Bitcoin which has high volatility. is very high and can change in an instant, so we will be able to see which investors can survive these market conditions and there are also those who choose not to continue investing and instead leave the investment.

Bitcoin is King, people can never get satisfied or better still end the critics about bitcoin and I'm so happy to inform y'all that bit coin is not prone to individual critics, misconceptions and humans skepticism.
Bitcoin has the ability to sustain its reputation and value all by itself. And no matter what happens,People fail to realize that they'll find it very difficult to filter the best roles or function that bitcoin has for all to themselves;bitcoin is not been biased to users in anyway, people who fail to realize this and apply the instant change....its a choice,it's vividly up to them.

I believe that with the birth of Bitcoin, its mission is higher than its existence as an asset class. It can change the way this world works. Do you agree with me that since Bitcoin was born, there has been the formation and development of blockchain technology, and this technology will be the core technology of the 4.0 world later.

When there is a new asset like Bitcoin to compare with fiat money, invisibly, low-class people like us gradually realize the exploitation of the ruling classes. Thereby, we can change our behavior regarding personal asset management as well as choosing the type of assets to accumulate for the future. It is not an exaggeration to say that Bitcoin is a tool to liberate personal finances from the control of traditional financial institutions and governments. It allows users to fully control and own their assets without having to rely on any third parties.

There is a more macro problem that the existence of Bitcoin can fight inflation and economic recession if more countries use it in the future. However, I think it is difficult for large countries like the US to use Bitcoin as a replacement for the USD because this will limit the FED's influence and ability to control the world. Bitcoin is suitable for small countries that want to be self-sufficient and less dependent on the USD.

I've been thinking about this, I wonder if bitcoin becomes stable will people continue to support it or will most people abandon it in search of another alternative asset?
Most likely it people would go check for other alternatives when it comes to which would be the most profitable however I think bitcoin can be used as it was intended to be used. It would most likely be used just as a normal currency instead of an investment.

You just need to look at the percentage of people who are looking at bitcoin as an investment and the percentage of people who are using bitcoin as a currency. You will know that if bitcoin was not volatile, did not generate profits, it would not become as popular as it is today. Or you and I, do any of us want bitcoin as a currency or do we also want bitcoin as an investment?

There will still be some people who use bitcoin to enhance their privacy and use it as a currency because they are really useful. But what I want to say is that it will not be as common as what is happening now.

I would mention a very important point: The acceptance of people or those who want to own bitcoin is a very important point. The best product in the world can fail if people dont want it. I cant imagine that happening with bitcoin, the network is now far too strong for that and many people have understood how good bitcoin is. You write important reasons and I would confirm that. A small example of mine: I wanted to change cash from another country and went to a "big" bank (Im not a customer there). They didnt change it for me because Im not a customer and because they have to check the money for authenticity and they also didnt have that much cash on site... then I take bitcoin and no matter where I am, I can use it.

This can all be achieved if someone understands the bitcoin journey process itself and that is the reason why people must understand it first before trying to invest. There are many people who experience losses when investing and it is based on wrong skills and knowledge. Even though bitcoin always provides a recovery process even though it is badly corrected, because the understanding of investment is not good, people make the wrong decisions.

Bitcoin has become the best investment in the crypto space and bitcoin has reached the highest value of its price ever. Someone who has patience in holding for the long term will continue to get maximum profits from the investment they are making. What needs to be done is not to panic under any circumstances because bitcoin has a repeating cycle that can bring new prices.

Bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency world, and it will remain so for as long as this world exists

That's a big statement right there. We don't know how long the world will exist. An asteroid might hit the earth tomorrow and boom, it's all over for us even though there can be other planets with aliens and whatnot, or, it may exist for millenniums to come. So, in case it exists for a very long time after us, do you think that there won't be any other people with more vast thinking abilities and skills to create something better than Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

Based on how fast the technology is advancing, I doubt there will be things that might be better than Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the future, people might abandon Bitcoin and start using other technologies and coins and payment methods with more advanced technologies. However, I'm just talking about possibilities, we should say that Bitcoin can remain the king of this industry but we can't say it will for sure.

I honestly feel like the advantage Bitcoin has over most or all other cryptocurrencies, is that, apart from the fact that it was created by a very important person, it was created by an anonymous person. It's program can't be changed, fixed, or edited, therefore making it difficult to influence. The only thing that influences it's worth is the investor's investments. The more the investments, the higher it's prices. The lower the trust people have for it, the lower it's price. Bitcoin, can't be changed, making it an alternative, no company or government can take it own it, it's just there. And since that is it's nature, that's one reason I know, it'll always survive.

I didn't know that. Please excuse my ignorance, lol. I guess Bitcoin will become the "Linux" of crypto, while the rest will become the "Windows and Mac" of the industry. I'm fine with that as long as Bitcoin stays true to its principles of decentralization and censorship-resistance.

I know most people will prefer altcoins because of their high performance and cost-efficiency. That doesn't mean BTC will lose its market dominance, though. With "Wall Street" in the game, expect Bitcoin to become a "force to reckon with". :D

Bitcoin will never replace mainstream daily transactions, and it was never meant to. Of course not. But what can you say about L2 scaling solutions (particularly, the Lightning Network)? They allow people to use BTC as currency with cheaper fees and faster settlement times. I know it's not perfect (full of bugs). But it gives us hope that someday the masses will use BTC the same way they use Fiat for day-to-day payments. On-chain scaling is not a solution because it increases centralization in the long run (higher bandwidth, and storage costs for nodes). Who knows how Bitcoin will perform in the future?

What is a non-blockchain digital currency like Haypenny currencies (https://haypenny.net/) if not "an L2 scaling solution"?

In the future, there will be two things:

1. Truly decentralized blockchain-based cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and just a few others that are safe enough to invest in because they have a very large server pool.

2. Pure digital currencies not based on the blockchain architecture, that are fast, cheap,  and can be used for tiny transactions like that of a vending machine.

For me, there's not really any room for "centralized blockchain" because it makes absolutely no sense.

I wonder how Bitcoin and the BTC blockchain are going to work when the electricity grids and the internet start shutting down. Maybe OP has a ground breaking idea about how to make the blockchain work without electricity and internet connection. ;D
OP, you are using the term "scarce" is a wrong way. Bitcoin is scarce, not the fiat currencies.

The first block was mined in 2009. Bitcoin has a 15 year record of reliability, security, decentralisation, continued upwards price trajectory. Of course not. At least not in the next 10-20 years. I think Bitcoin will last until all coins are mined. That's if developers continue to improve the Blockchain (and it stays decentralized and censorship-resistant).

I'm yet to see if CBDCs will ever become a threat to the very existence of BTC. Governments might go as far as making Bitcoin (and crypto) illegal just to force everyone to use their CBDCs. Just like what China is doing now. I dunno. Maybe I'm thinking too much. Nothing is guaranteed to last forever. So we should enjoy BTC while it lasts. :)

Decentralized, censorship-resistant are key characteristics to make Bitcoin is unique compares to thousands of altcoin in this cryptocurrency market. Altcoins can be Proof of Stake, Masternodes, Supernodes, Smart contracts, have bigger block sizes, quick confirmation time, and bigger Transactions Per Second (TPS) but they don't have these two important characteristics that only Bitcoin has.

If Bitcoin blockchain and network maintain these important characteristics, it will remain as a most favorite cryptocurrency.

for those who says that bitcoin will die or will be gone in time are those who wanted to have a big chance of buying more chunks of bitcoin when the market falls badly and this is their advantages.
bitcoin is here to stay though we do not know how much it will grow in the long years but at least in our lifetime it will stay like what we did in the past 14 years.
Are there still people who do FUD like that? I believe that nowadays people in investment have more open eyes. or people who are aware of technological developments and follow Bitcoin news will not be easily incited by news like that.
except for those who are just starting to enter and those who are still looking for information and happen to meet people who don't like Bitcoin. those who have experienced how Bitcoin grows will not be easily affected by bad news. they know the potential of Bitcoin and that it will continue to grow in the long term in the future.
We have seen different people here in forum , some claims this and some claims that but the reality is that we already knew there is FUD coming from everywhere .
but like what you said, people with knowledge will never fall from this but we also knew that there are  newbies and other investors that does not have deep understanding about the market.

It is very wonderful that cryptocurrencies give us not only money, but are also useful in real life.
When I traveled to countries where card-to-card money transfers are prohibited, I used USDT and LTC to receive and transfer money with my friends.
And I really liked the feeling that this is exactly how the meaning of cryptocurrencies was conceived: this is complete freedom from centralized and stupid laws.

After all, if I earn money myself, then why should I be limited in sending them?
I want to be free in this, and blockchain technology gives me this opportunity. I love the crypto world :)

Yes. we all want to be free in this too. It's up to the government to decide whether to relax its usage cases with their magical regulations. Of course, we want convenience in everything we have now and in the future.

I am very confident about this blockchain technology, which in the future will become even more real in terms of its use.

Lots of people trying to stain up the reputation of bitcoin since they are trying to defame it to promote what they think that can give them more benefit but bitcoin prove them wrong for so many times that all of those negative claims by haters and person who doubt is totally nonsense at all that's why its better to ignore any negative thoughts which is not helping us since they are just a total disturbance which gives us stress. How many times we read about bitcoin is dead in this forum but those words has been many times been shut off especially when we see bitcoin is having another big rallies especially when there's a halving event came or there's good news like adoptions will came.

When I hear about these things, I remember the time when mainstream media was completely against Bitcoin and they were always doing their best to try and show Bitcoin in a negative light, calling it a scam coin, a currency used by criminals to fund their crimes, a bubble, and a lot of different things only to make people think that Bitcoin is something very bad, and to be honest, the mainstream media is still not very much in its favor and you will often find them saying negative things about it.

However, none of their tactics worked backed then and the same will happen to those who are trying to say negative things and spread negativity about Bitcoin, it won't affect the popularity or adoption level of Bitcoin but they will only regret doing this in the future instead of becoming a part of it.

Bitcoin is recorded as the first and most well known crypto currency in the world.not disputing the fact that there have been so many controversies surrounding it,it is still believed that Bitcoin will always survive and continue to be a leading form of digital currency cutting across the World globally.
   Although there are certain risk factors involved with Bitcoin but it's not been limited by that and most likely will tend to survive and thrive in the future,moreso reasons why Bitcoin will likely survive are thus;

There will be no success without trials along the road ,and after scaling through all these obstacles and you succeed at last, this is where the joy comes in, Bitcoin is a believe system that works, in as much as people will continue believe and have trust in the system, it will survive any threat by a group of people or Government, reason being that Bitcoin is truly decentralised and can't be controlled even by any individual or any government entity.

I would be very careful when using the word "always". So you say that Bitcoin and the BTC blockchain could even survive some nuclear Apocalypse and the destruction of planet Earth? Really? I wonder how Bitcoin and the BTC blockchain are going to work when the electricity grids and the internet start shutting down. Maybe OP has a ground breaking idea about how to make the blockchain work without electricity and internet connection. ;D
OP, you are using the term "scarce" is a wrong way. Bitcoin is scarce, not the fiat currencies.
The technical detail is that if there is no electricity where you are, then that means YOU cannot use bitcoin, but bitcoin would be out there somewhere as long as there is even one computer that is running the blockchain, which is of course not a priority at this point because if there is only one that is left then we are talking about something that would take some time and we should consider the situation as definitely something that will take some time, and that is why we are going to end up with getting a lot better results if the world isn't in that situation.

Obviously we are going to see the improvements and that is why I think it is a lot smarter if we could just focus on how to make money with realistic future in mind.

No one can give a sure guarantee that Bitcoin will survive in the future, but the adoption of Bitcoin will only keep Bitcoin as the most popular coin in the world in the future. Moreover, due to the decentralized nature and limited supply of Bitcoin, there is no control by third parties, meaning there is no opportunity to increase the supply. Since there is no scope to increase supply and decentralization it has no control over third parties so it has no possibility of inflation in future. So I see a high probability of Bitcoin tickets in the near future.

Research have it that Bitcoin has been in existence for decades, and it never ceased  regarding the challenges so we can not really predict the outcome in the near future. Though Bitcoin has helped a lot of people out there, and have contributed in one way or the other it has save lives as well, we just hope it should not be corrupted someday as many has been working on that. I pray they never succeed with that plan.

Yea, you are f**king dam right bro, Bitcoin will always survive, because it has proven over and over again that it's here to stay, just as the chart above illustrated, it shows that is actually getting better as The years goes by, so in other words, it's just like a fine 🍷 wine that gets better with age.

Another thing that makes Bitcoin very much special too me is it decentralized nature, to me, the privacy is priceless, though most government of some states sees it as a threat, due to the fact that they can't be in control, but the truth is that Bitcoin is here to stay, because it's the future of money.

Lastly, those set's of people fighting Bitcoin, thinking they can put it down, they actually knows that it's impossible to do so at this stage, so what they are doing now is that they are just discrediting it publicly, just to slow it adoption process, but I believe that in due time, everyone, including the haters will accept it, even though it's not their will.

In conclusion since Bitcoin has survived such attacks from government
You are very wrong that Bitcoin has survived the attack from the government, if the government attacked Bitcoin, it would have been a different story today. I can assure you that if the world government attacks Bitcoin today, it will not survive and even all the decentralised mechanisms around it and sites/platforms related to it will all be pulled down. This is because there will be a total clampdown on it (Bitcoin) and all the businesses around it including exchange.

You can imagine how huge the panic selling of Bitcoin would be by then, and it will get to the level that you will not be able to sell your Bitcoins again because no one will be willing to buy it from you. It is not until this time that you can say "the government has attacked Bitcoin." Restricting, banning and finding ways to regular Bitcoin transactions for the sanity of the world is not an attack, only that you guys are not appreciative of what the government is doing, particularly for not clamping down on Bitcoin.

The story is different if we talk about one government or all the governments of the countries combined, because 1 or 2 governments will never be able to stop or destroy bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized. If a country bans or seeks to eliminate bitcoin, miners will move to another country, like the Chinese government did with bitcoin, but things will become serious if governments join forces and attack bitcoin then surely bitcoin will be difficult to survive.

But I somewhat agree with you that many people are underestimating the power of government, if our government bans bitcoin then we will see how difficult it will be to use bitcoin. Many people do not see the power of the government because they come from countries that do not ban bitcoin, if someone is living in a country that bans bitcoin, they will feel the power of the government.

That's the only problem that I believe will occur in the future for bitcoin because of its high
fee when there is congestion making many of its users  changing to other altcoins for this matter
but aside from that as the security is concern? people will continue supporting bitcoin an so this
will stay many years from now specially as the last sets of bitcoin is yet be mined?

I think Bitcoin is not stable and due to its unstable nature we are able to make profit from it but if its value was stable then we will not be able to make money through Bitcoin investment.

Bitcoin gains hype and market appreciation because of its volatility and earning potential but in time is changing its course to a stable price, hell you are right, a lot will leave Bitcoin holders, even traders. That is why I no longer hope for price stability but rather stay what it has because this is the reason why people keep on coming and continue giving support.

From the beginning, if bitcoin had become a peer-to-peer currency, I believe it would not be as popular as it is today because not everyone cares about privacy and decentralization. In this world, money is still the top priority.
I notice nowadays that people don't care about their privacy. Indeed, losing privacy is still okay when it talks about money. Not all but I believe the majority.

Indeed, Bitcoin is worse for privacy than pure centralized digital currencies like Haypenny (https://haypenny.net/) currencies because of the public ledger and chain analysis.

Of the blockchain-based currencies, only products like Monera actually maintain your privacy natively.

With the amount of market capital Bitcoin has gained and the popularity it has become, it is hard to believe that Bitcoin will ever die in the future. The entire crypto market depends on Bitcoin. Many countries have declared Bitcoin as a legal currency because it will live forever and has no chance of dying. Bitcoin is a very strong currency and that's why people now trust Bitcoin more than money.  This is a huge achievement in Bitcoin so Bitcoin will never be lost unless the internet is lost

We believe it would because it has been proven already several times. Many times it dumps and many people say it will die but they are absolutely wrong because we even see its price increasing more rather than seeing it dying. Until there is strong support from the community, we can never think about dying but instead, recovery from every drop.

If Bitcoin hasn't survived I don't think we would had have anything like the crypto industry/altcoins or they would haven't been this popular. It's because Bitcoin is surviving so people can assume that they have a chance with altcoins by investing in them. If you're betting against any cryptocurrency to not be around in decades to come, it shouldn't be Bitcoin because it doesn't only have the first mover advantage but because of its uniqueness, if you observe there isn't any successful replica of Bitcoin. What we just have are failed wannabes and that's why Bitcoin will always have an advantage over the rest of the market.

We shouldn't consider this features to be a weakness but instead a strength because it's because of this featui that Bitcoin is surviving in the midst of all the attempts aimed at it. Without Bitcoin been decentralized, it would had been killed a long time ago. The decentralized nature of Bitcoin is restricting the government from using regulations to disrupt the growth of Bitcoin. The limited supply of Bitcoin is also among the reasons Bitcoin is been seen as a good investment by many people and its potential adoption is what is keeping the hopes high for the investors. The government has tried to bring down Bitcoin but hasn't succeeded and soon they'll have no choice but to accept defeat that they can't bring down Bitcoin.

1. No major world government has ever tried to "bring down Bitcoin".

2. Bitcoin is perfectly legal in almost every country in the world.

3. A major country like China could take control over 51% of the hashrate, which would give them absolute control of Bitcoin. They haven't done this because they don't want to, not because it's impossible.

I get that some people need to feel like they are "fighting the Man" when they invest in Bitcoin, but the actual fact here is that Bitcoin is as mainstream as any major US stock like AAPL or MSFT. Nobody is going to make it illegal, or is even trying. Investing in Bitcoin today is as easy as buying any normal stock.

While you might think it will help, spreading misinformation like this about Bitcoin will hinder Bitcoin's adoption as an investment and drive the price down because many serious investors won't be excited about fighting the government.

What government exactly? Different governments got different takes on Bitcoin.  But most governments just wanna get they piece of the pie - track payments, tax gains, etc.  That could make Bitcoin more mainstream even if it makes the Wild West vibe fade a bit.

So yeah, some regulation seems likely but outlawing crypto probably is not happening... Except in a few countries.

What government exactly? Different governments got different takes on Bitcoin.

Lets not act as if the government from different parts of the world hasn't had their fair share of beef with Bitcoin and the crackdown of either Bitcoin trading/mining then the crypto industry in general, an attack on the industry could be said to be an attack on Bitcoin as they're only going through the sidelines since they can't fully achieve their desires plans on killing Bitcoin.

  • In 2013, China restricted financial and payment institutions' involvement with Bitcoin (https://www.gov.cn/gzdt/2013-12/05/content_2542751.htm)
  • Nigeria is reportedly stepping up its cryptocurrency crackdown with a proposed ban on peer-to-peer trading (https://punchng.com/nigerias-cryptocurrency-conundrum/). Bitcoin is the most traded crypto in Nigeria so you get my point.

There are some countries that using Bitcoin is illegal and they have their punishment for defaulters while some other countries have lifted the ban still there was a time when they didn't permit the association with Bitcoin in some way (trading or mining). My point is irrespective of how some government are trying to fight the adoption of Bitcoin, a time will come when they would have no choice but to accept it as some other countries are doing currently. Nigeria is one example and the country is not only fighting the trading of Bitcoin but crypto in general with the restrictions place on crypto trading exchanges (delisting local currency from their platforms). I know they aren't technically fighting Bitcoin but they're pushing the awareness and adoption of Bitcoin backwards with their restrictions.

People prefer to choose Bitcoin because its high volatility. If the price is getting stable, people won't have a chance to earn high profits anymore. Sure, many people probably leave Bitcoin, they will move to something more profitable. However, I'm sure the price of Bitcoin won't be stable, it is uncontrolled and it is purely determined by the demand in the market. If we always have high demand of Bitcoin, the price will remain increasing.

I notice nowadays that people don't care about their privacy. Indeed, losing privacy is still okay when it talks about money. Not all but I believe the majority.
Not everyone doesn't care the privacy. I think privacy can't be compared with money. If I must choose money and privacy, I surely will choose privacy.
I believe you will do the same, right?  :-\

Each country does really have their own taking or views towards Bitcoin or crypto as a whole but just like you've said that they dont wanna just get left behind on the game.  :)
The only thing that you should bare up into your mind that there's no guarantees that you would be able to see Bitcoin would be on the top or #1. There's no certain about future and this is why always still
consider about on the involved risks and really just that invest on what you can afford to lose. Its always been that recommended that you do really know on how to make yourself that
having that diversified investment not only really just that limited to crypto or Bitcoin but also in other traditional business as well.

We dont know on how long this market would really be that existing on which it would really be still varying on the demand and recognition on which we know that Bitcoin does have the biggest support from the community and since this is the KING or Father of all crypto then there's no doubt that it would really be sitting on the top of the ranking. The only thing that we should remember is that we do really need
to have that risks management on which this is something that you would really be needing. You cant really just that make yourself that focus on a single point because once it do fails
then you do have that kind of back up.

That is only seldom to happen in the market so no need to worry of that. Instead, just invest on bitcoin on what you can afford to lose so that you will still have enough fiat left for your survival, and not to force selling when the market is congested because obviously, you will end up at loss.

Bitcoin, despite of its flaws and uncertainties, people still chose to prioritize bitcoin over altcoins. And it will continue to happen in the future most especially if majority will be educated how valuable bitcoin is, in terms of being a currency and a long term investment.

It will take more than 100 years from now for bitcoin mining to end. However, even if the mining ends, the miners will not withdraw from the mining because the transaction fees will be enough to fill their profit space. This means that in the near future we may be a bit concerned about Bitcoin transaction fees or congestion, but no blockchain can offer the same security as Bitcoin, which is why people looking for a decentralized platform to keep their assets safe are more likely to use any blockchain other than Bitcoin. Although the fees will be high, they will still use Bitcoin. At that time the number of investors will certainly increase and some investors may be diverted. I think Bitcoin will be in the leading position in this space for as long as there is crypto space exist.

That’s not actually a problem if you don’t pressure yourself on selling your coins and just hold them for a while until the market gets back to normal. After all, we don’t often experience congestion in the market and I think the developers are doing something to avoid it as much as possible.

Bitcoin will continue to survive as long as we are here to keep the demand. Otherwise, if a lot of people will leave bitcoin and shift into another crypto, bitcoin will come to its end and there’s no way it will continue to exist in the market. Just simple as that.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that governments of countries that have legalized Bitcoin are investing in Bitcoin with great success. But the popularity of Bitcoin is increasing day by day, people are showing interest in Bitcoin and the amount of investment is increasing. Many times it is seen that we are too hasty to invest. If we invest in bitcoin investment because of our addiction to become an overnight millionaire, we must be patient and have a long-term investment plan if we can invest in this way. I can get a lot of money from this investment. Many times we lose patience and we should not lose patience because if we invest Bitcoin with patience then through this patience we can get as much success from our investment.

Of course, it does not escape their eyes, especially if it is legal and recognized as in El Salvador. Yes. So far the stage of development of BTC in terms of adoption shows a good level of development where currently when looking at the development of considerable interest also whether from various countries that have carried out reforms in terms of following the development of the digital-based financial world and institutions, both large and small.

True, we should not be too quick to draw conclusions and hope that by investing in BTC we will get rich quickly, because everything takes time and process and on the way and of course the emotion of investment if not controlled properly is very similar to market volume, this is where the assessment persists or not.

If a country bans or seeks to eliminate bitcoin, miners will move to another country, like the Chinese government did with bitcoin, but things will become serious if governments join forces and attack bitcoin then surely bitcoin will be difficult to survive.
You are correct about this, if it is a selective government clamping down on cryptocurrency, it will never be efficient and even the citizens and residents will be in that same country doing cryptocurrency...lol This is so possible with VPN and other ninja tools and they will never be able to suspect them not to mention of tracing them to face the law. Even in China, many people are doing cryptocurrency despite the tough stance of the government about it. This is to the point that early this year, China's central bank warned that hundreds of billions of USDT were transacted within a year, even as recently, an illegal underground banking operation transacting in the USDT was raided (https://www.theblock.co/post/294777/china-busts-1-9-billion-underground-banking-operation-using-usdt). Can you imagine? This means that a selective country clamping down on cryptocurrency cannot work but coordinated clamping down on it. This was what birthed my reply to the OP, even as he never mentioned a selective government but generalised them.

True, we should not be too quick to draw conclusions and hope that by investing in BTC we will get rich quickly, because everything takes time and process and on the way and of course the emotion of investment if not controlled properly is very similar to market volume, this is where the assessment persists or not.

how do you think this level of recognition and adoption will influence other countries' views on Bitcoin?

Bitcoin will remain a leader in any respect. In terms of market capacity, it may be displaced in the future. In terms of fees, there are cheaper blockchains. In terms of privacy or development, there are better projects, but in the end, Bitcoin remains Bitcoin, and with all the problems of scalability, there is still betting on it, which will gain it demand that will make it. Among them are among the best cryptocurrency options.
That is just temporary though, fees are going to go down again no matter what other projects like Runes or BRC20 on top of the blockchain. And as we have seen, the fees are down in the last 2 weeks or so.

You don't have to wait till the last set of Bitcoin is to be mined. We've reached almost 94% already, and most likely the next 5% will be mined in the next 3 block halving. So for sure some of us could still be alive and witness the 99% being mined and the 1% will be +/-2140.

That gives us confidence that Bitcoin will stay long and be able to survive from the dips. This is the reason why investors prefer to invest in Bitcoin over other investments in the trust that despite the unstable price, it has a huge chance to rally back. Yes, nobody has such interest when they see the market price is declining, they will ignore Bitcoin for sure. But as we can see, it is a life-changing opportunity that we must not ignore instead a thing to be involved with. Many people become rich already from this and I think it was an obvious proof that investing in Bitcoin has a profit potential.

Well, there was definitely been some governments giving Bitcoin the side-eye or outright getting hostile and  China with those tight restrictions comes to mind.  Cant deny that.  But we gotta look at the full picture here.  For every one government getting their heckles up over crypto, there is another one rolling out the red carpet.  Or like in the EU and the U.S. They seem more interested in slapping some regulations on rather than outright bans.

Its a lot like how the early internet faced pushback too before becoming just another part of everyday life.  There is still some hurdles for Bitcoin, but the momentum is real. So Im not sweating it too much.  Governments can only resist new tech kicking down their door for so long.  World is changing, Bitcoin and crypto are gonna be part of that change whether the powers that be like it or not and  it is what it is.

I agree with your points, these are the things that make Bitcoin strong. But I think the most important thing is that Bitcoin is now accepted by a large part of society. I don't think any government can stop Bitcoin, but if the internet is cut off worldwide, Bitcoin usage will drop. Bitcoin won't end, the blockchain will continue through satellites even if there is no internet, but there will be no practical use for it, so there will be no point. Other than that, Bitcoin will be a part of people's lives for the next century.

Bitcoin’s acceptance to the world is now inevitable. Bitcoin is now here for good and will continue to survive until everything will end up smooth sailing. Although majority of the government are still not open on legalizing bitcoin, but I believe this is only for now since they are still reluctant or in denial about the hidden potentials of bitcoin. In the end, bitcoin will still be accepted by majority, we just have to be patient for now.

The only issue about potential adoption is the high transaction fees. I think Bitcoin would be more valuable if transaction fees were really tiny and one can make a $1 transaction and receive at least $0.99. Some people who implemented it took it out for as ample as this reason. Because you have to wait for the transaction, yet, you pay some really high fees.

A world war that occurs on a large scale could turn off electricity and internet sources, this could affect the journey of bitcoin, because if that happens people will not care about investment but rather how to survive in conditions of chaos.
If they'll ever be a third world war, the state of things would deteriorate and they'll be more casualties that own Bitcoins than survivors that own them... can you imagine a scene where an aircraft crashes and the people around are the first to get to the scene? They'll be left with no choice than to get away with anything they can lay their hands on... That'll just be the fate of most careless people.

Edit:
but in terms of trust, I think it is difficult to make bitcoin worth zero
It's actually impossible at this point already. Bitcoin has had undoubtedly a good start, and most importantly, a promising return.
I'd rather lose to the game for being too stubborn on when to buy, than not buy at all.

basically bitcoin is very dependent on the internet and the internet of course requires electricity. if there is no both then how can bitcoin be used. there is another thing if the government simultaneously makes a decision, even though it is a difficult thing to happen, but nevertheless the authorities can do everything, and the people can only obey the regulations set. but in terms of trust, I think it is difficult to make bitcoin worth zero

I agree with you that bitcoin will always survive. The limited supply of Bitcoin creates a deflationary characteristic, where the value of Bitcoin tends to increase over time because demand continues to grow while supply remains constant. This can result in long-term value stability and maintain user confidence in bitcoin. Because limited supply can encourage further adoption and use. Scarcity and potential for long-term value growth is what attracts the interest of many investors. It is possible that bitcoin could disappear or no longer have value but the possibility is small. And I can't imagine that if bitcoin disappeared or no longer had any value, that would definitely have an impact on most altcoins.

If someone invests in Bitcoin not more than what he can afford then he can continue investment without worrying about the other expenses and a Bitcoin holder should also remember that its price can change anytime and it's normal therefore we should not decide under such circumstances to sell our Bitcoin.

Although fluctuations are higher in case of Bitcoin but still its buying percentage is higher than any other coin is because it never becomes a scam and has never disappointed its investors but those investors work with patience when the conditions are against them. Bitcoin is a trusted and reliable investment source but greedy people cannot get anything from it and also those for those Bitcoin will be risky who don't have learnt anything regarding it.

In terms of mass adoption of Bitcoin, the issue of costs should not be a barrier that should be used as the main reason, because the amount of costs that you give is a very small amount and even in some countries such a small amount cannot buy a piece of candy :D. What I want to convey is that you can pay attention to these fees with the amount of Bitcoin that you will bring into the transaction, you will definitely find a difference in the amount of fees based on the number of Bitcoin units that you transact so I assume that this is always adjusted by the amount that we transact. So this should not be a reason to stop our own desires in terms of adopting Bitcoin at this time and forever.

Well, for those who want to use it as a means of payment, that’s the challenge. There’s that need of it being able to be sent in a short time and at a tiny cost. While Bitcoin wasn’t designed to compete with how other transactions are carried out (speed and cost), user would appreciate it was faster and cheaper all at once.

That is the beauty of the technology in BTC. There are many things that can be used from the technology, its characteristics also make it easier for users if needed at any time. for example, in sending and for Bitcoin transactions, it is recognized that it is faster and cheaper, but at certain moments the fees are a little expensive, even if the network is congested and congested.

Well, to survive, as OP also asked above, I think it has become an open secret. As long as you are a user, BTC demand will continue to move and become more expensive in the future.

All of us hope so but no one can guarantee that when World War III starts Bitcoin will survive or not and hope that such a war will never happen. The only thing I'm thinking about now is how to continue collecting bitcoins and not thinking too far about what steps to take in the future. Bitcoin has experienced several very difficult events, but it has survived and given its best ability to strengthen to its highest value. This is what underlies me to continue trying to collect rather than talking about a future that will not necessarily happen.

Now this asset has become the target of many people and is marked by massive adoption occurring throughout the world. Some companies also hold more bitcoin than individuals and they see quite a lot of hope in bitcoin. So instead of being busy looking at the future, it's better for us to take the opportunity to invest because at the next ATH we are at the right moment.

Bitcoin is already surviving every stumbling blocks on it's way to becoming the dominant digital cash, that will take over from all the digital fiat. In the early days of it's creation, people were skeptical about it, including me, it was called a Ponzi scheme in my locality, but as the years went by, it's reputation has continued to increase and more people have seen that it's a store of value, hence the adoption continues to grow. Although I believe that most people that hodl Bitcoin, is for investment purposes, to collect profits from it, because it's an asset that continues to increase in value, hopefully in the future, it'll be used more as a digital cash to make payments for items.

I do not doubt the existence of bitcoin, simply because I am a bitcoin investor. I believe that it will not only last, but in the future it will become as popular an asset as gold or more. But to expect it to become a means of payment or become a currency, I don't think that will happen. Transaction fees as well as bitcoin processing speed are issues for it to become a currency. If it were you, would you be willing to spend a few extra dollars as transaction fees when your bills are only worth a few dozen dollars, let alone bills that are only a few dollars? Second, governments will never accept a currency that is not controlled by them, which not only makes it impossible for them to control the people but also makes it difficult for them to control the economy. It's hard to believe that bitcoin will become a currency in the future while it remains a decentralized asset.

If the internet stops, the world will still be functional because we don't even have an internet on the past but maybe a lot of people are going to get affected negatively for a while, since I believed that many business are now tied into it.

The use of BTC is still the same, though yeah that its acceptance have gotten wider now. Let's only hope that this momentum of BTC continues, so that we can also only enjoy at all times using the generous amounts of profits that we can get out of it.

Yes you are right that bitcoin is dependent on the availability of the internet however do not disregard the fact that the government can easily cut off all our internet and even ban certain websites or applications no matter how widely used they are all around the world.

Just take China for example they were able to censor different kinds of content using their firewall. Facebook, Instagram, even Gmail are some of the biggest used platforms in the world but is banned in China. Of course I am sure there are plenty ways to slip through its security but I am sure that no one will appreciate extra steps just to do access something. Not to mention the possibility of the government finding out.

They have the power to cut off possible way for users to use it that's why lets hope for the best that our government will not have any negative mindset just like other country leader aim to stop bitcoin dominance and they want to insert their own interest. But for sure majority will always have final say regarding on this since if we see those officials doing power tripping and disallow user to use bitcoin then we have power to eliminate them via voting so next time if people will just unite together that they should use those bitcoin friendly politician then we can be more better with that.

But I guess we cannot experience this since so far we can see that bitcoin is doing well and I think negative minded politicians can stop this since majority will always win also for sure that they will not make a bad move because it will cost something to them and might they cannot get a seat on government again.

Fees are still a factor in why adoption isn't going fast. Those days that fees rise to $10 ( and more), I don't think it is encouraging to spend and use BTC to buy. Indeed, it was not the excuse why but the lack of trust really mattered.

After all, and all the factors concerning the adoption, still, no reason why Bitcoin will never survive. As long as Bitcoin remains useful to the community, it still gets strong support. Of course, corrections happen always but it recovers then because that is how it works. Some are selling and dropping the price but on the other side, some are also buying and uplifting the price again.

That is the simplest reason because there are many people who hold bitcoin with a better level of confidence. Bitcoin has gone through several bad events from economic problems, starting from Covid to problems with inflation and recession, but Bitcoin's strength in defending itself needs to be appreciated. Bitcoin is the king of other coins because its price continues to increase and even ETH which has a fairly large market capitalization is not able to surpass it. There is a greater level of trust in bitcoin and now people see bitcoin as the best asset ever.

This level of trust is what makes bitcoin increasingly sought after and people begin to see the opportunity to reach the stage of financial freedom from their bitcoin investments. When compared with the previous system, even though bitcoin is very speculative, bitcoin has a much greater level of superiority.

Government can't block bitcoins blockchain, government can block binance or any exchange to exist in that nation, meaning that you will only have p2p, or foreign websites that you have to trust. However, in that situation there were plenty of years we had and yet nobody really cared, we figured out a way, we did it with paypal or something and still moved on.

I think it's clear that nations realized that taxing it instead of banning it would be a better thing. That's what a lot of states are doing at USA right now regarding even weed, if 50+ years of spending tens of billions of dollars failed to stop it, might as well make it FDA approved and legal to tax so there would be benefits for the public at the very least of it.

At certain moments? Bitcoin transaction fees are always a little expensive. But despite how much the fee gets too, it beats the banks because the transaction fees is the price you pay for owning your money. And it’s not necessarily faster because it depends on how much transaction fees you’re willing to pay. The more you pay the faster it is, less you pay then prepare to receive the Bitcoin you transferred but in 12 hours or more.

1. Decentralized Nature
2. Security
3. Limited supply
4. Potential adoption.

You made a very vital point there

The only issue about potential adoption is the high transaction fees. I think Bitcoin would be more valuable if transaction fees were really tiny and one can make a $1 transaction and receive at least $0.99. Some people who implemented it took it out for as ample as this reason. Because you have to wait for the transaction, yet, you pay some really high fees.

Well, actually, what you mentioned is correct, pal. As long as there are people who support Bitcoin and believe in it, it will really survive. Just like in the food business industry, as long as there are people who are hungry, there will definitely be food at your food business.

It's the same with Bitcoin. As long as there are people who believe that Bitcoin is a good long-term investment and even in the short term can make a profit from Bitcoin, Bitcoin will really survive, but once those who believe and support Bitcoin disappear for sure, it will not be able to survive.

why is bitcoin the king of coins and bitcoin always survives in the market in my opinion because bitcoin holders still believe in bitcoin they don't give up bitcoin, if all bitcoin holders let go of bitcoin then the throne of bitcoin will fall, you can correct me if I'm wrong.
Bitcoin has become very popular that's why there is so much demand for Bitcoin. As time goes by, more and more popularity of Bitcoin will increase and if the popularity increases, the price of Bitcoin will increase. People who use Bitcoin trust Bitcoin for which they invest in Bitcoin. And if  If you didn't believe in Bitcoin, you wouldn't invest.

Not always. Only when there's hype. After the dust settles, fees go back to acceptable levels. The Ordinals and halving craze can't last forever. If you're smart, you'd take advantage of the low fees to open a channel on the Lightning Network. You won't have to worry about fees rising anymore, as fees on the LN stay low forever. Assuming the channel stays open until on-chain fees decline again.

BTC can survive if it stays decentralized and censorship-resistant. Institutional investment comapanies and CEXs might acquire most of the circulating supply, but they'll never be able to participate network consensus. Hopefully, miners aren't bought (bribed) in the long run. We can't predict the future, so lets hope for the best. :)

I think that I used the right words, that’s why I said “always A LITTLE expensive”. Outside being a little more expensive is it being very expensive like when the fees grew as much as $50. I’m not sure if we can get the fees to be as low as a few cents, but despite what the fees are, it’s worth the decentralization. It’s just not realistic for lower amounts at that point.

Since Bitcoin first appeared until now, we can all see that the development of Bitcoin is very good and currently many people are trying to have Bitcoin as their investment because they know its advantages and will be able to benefit from Bitcoin and of course they do all that. for their future and if there are some people who don't believe in it, of course they don't understand Bitcoin well and also they haven't studied Bitcoin so they don't believe in it and will never invest in Bitcoin.

Many are a bit worried now, seeing that BTC has experienced a very large increase from the beginning until now, especially if BTC owners carry out massive selling actions, causing the market to collapse.

But apart from all the concerns mentioned above, I'm sure BTC will always be here, especially for those who believe in BTC and for those who don't believe it probably won't last long and will continue to abandon it.

bitcoin will survive even when the government bans it because you can't stop someone's freedom to access bitcoin and use it in their transactions. even in a country like bangladesh that bans bitcoin, there are still many people who use bitcoin for their transactions, even though breaking this rule can result in someone being imprisoned, but people are not afraid of it. this is one of the reasons why bitcoin will survive because even at its lowest point there are still many people who want to use it in their transactions and that's what keeps bitcoin alive.

Bitcoin cannot be regulated by governments. Bitcoin is still being used in countries where it is banned due to lack of government control. It is banned in Bangladesh because most people here don't know about Bitcoin and people here are not that much aware about modern technology. If the people of this country know that there is a possibility of future profit from Bitcoin then they will invest here without realizing it.  So the government of that country has banned Bitcoin to prevent people from getting scammed. But the government of all the major developed countries with bans have a different thinking because the majority of their people can keep their money in the bitcoin because the country's economy may collapse so they could ban Bitcoin. Bitcoin is widely used in all countries and will remain so.

My main reason is because currently the digital era is more advanced and all transactions are digital without having to pay directly, therefore Bitcoin can survive and be more successful even though we have to be careful in digital transactions.

Bitcoin is an electronic cash system and because it has a limited supply and no authority to control it, it depends on the internet to survive. And it can be mined by anyone and is the mining rate the same for everyone. If the owner of bitcoin wants to mine, then he will have the same amount of mining as common people can mine. Because of this, everyone believes that no force on earth can destroy Bitcoin. For this, you can invest here blindly and if you invest for a long time, you will get huge returns from here. According to Bitcoin's algorithm, it will never collapse. If all bitcoin users boycott bitcoin at once then its death is possible in terms of price.  Which never seems to materialize.
