Title: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip
Post by: shanhaigamefi on May 13, 2024, 07:46:57 AM
Regardless, cryptocurrency investors are always looking for opportunities to buy on dips.

Renowned analyst Michaël van de Poppe has recently provided analysis and predictions on the Bitcoin, Ethereum and altcoin sectors. The analyst said that Bitcoin is currently trading in a tight range and could rise to around $70,000 to $72,000 if it breaks through the $63,000 level.

As of now, Bitcoin is trading at $61,707, down 3.7% in the past week and down 8.4% in the last month. All eyes are now on the key data released by the United States next week that will determine the fate of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.

Not only you, almost everyone believe we will see a bull season after few months dips, just take a look with the past histories.

I mean, 10% rise is small if we talk about Bitcoin, there's nothing surprise if Bitcoin will reach $72K, that's just a normal thing.

All eyes are now on the key data released by the United States next week that will determine the fate of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.
No, the fate of Bitcoin didn't controlled by United States, there's no correlation at all. Even United States completely ban Bitcoin, there are still hundred countries accepting Bitcoin.

It is not something new, and everyone that understands Bitcoin market already knows this that bitcoin price will reach 72k and not just 72k,bitcoin price will hit 100k but nobody knows when we will see this prices, but for sure will see it soonest. The bull run will approach in no time and that is what all investors are waiting for before offloading their bags.

The current price is an opportunity for investors that don't have enough to buy more in preparation ahead of the bull run. I don't think that any even that happens will have much effect on bitcoin price, and if it does, it will only be temporary. Bitcoin have proven this times without numbers.

This is not the first or neither will it be the last we see people coming out with theorems whenever there a sign of the market turning Green, because at the time of writing this post, Bitcoin is currently been traded at $62,850, which is just a difference $150 before hitting the predicted amount Michaël van de Poppe. So let's watch and see how the market goes, because initially it will be our joy and gladness to see Bitcoin breaking a new All-time-High just few weeks after it's 4th halving.

That is why it is even scary, since when as things come up as people think in crypto space? The opposite always happen and Bitcoin likes surprising the hoards when they least expect it, anyway there is only one way to find out, let's wait and see what happens.

I think the deeper the correction the better for the market on the long run, if Bitcoin goes back to 40k range the possible uptrend will be more bullish, and now I think the only positive thing to look up to is the coming election, Biden needs to leave the presidence for another ruler who is going to put less stress on Bitcoin and the crypto market..

I know this may not have a huge impact on Bitcoin itself but the users of Bitcoin will always be able to breath, I am talking about those in the United States, in the end Bitcoin will still do what it always do, no bad news can stop Bitcoin now it can only slow it down.

Some may see the dipping of the market as a chance to acquire more bitcoin while some may lose confidence and start selling theirs. Just choose which one you want to be.

It’s not that difficult to imagine since bitcoin already reached up to $70,000 or more during its peak. At this point it is just a matter of “when” and not “if”. We better prepare and get ready for when the bull run properly starts.

speculation has been ongoing even before the halving about the much anticipated bull that's coming any moment from what's now seen as a temporary correction and what he's said here isn't any different from what's been said in the past.

I've not really paid attention to the kind of speculations that's going on as regards the fate of etherum at the moment but what's more certain about the season is that the post halving effect will play a great role in the most anticipated bull and regardless of what social media speculators airs out as regards this kinds of possibility is totally independent on how bullish bitcoin will get within the year.

You don't need to consult or listen to analysis from any analyst, bitcoin's price increase is inevitable and will definitely happen, the only problem is time. That's why people often advise each other not to pay too much attention to the short-term volatility of bitcoin, look at the long term and bitcoin will never disappoint us.

In mid-May, we had a lot of news related to inflation and everyone was waiting, but even if the results were not as expected, there was nothing scary. The negative effects will also be absorbed soon, bitcoin will have a correction because of them but then bitcoin will also recover.

I remember in 2022-2023, we had a war, inflation peaked, the Fed continuously raised interest rates but could not stop the recovery of bitcoin. And at the present time inflation has decreased somewhat, the impact from the war is no longer too much, so there is nothing to fear.

I agree with you, we have had all the worst possible scenarios in recent times, war in Russia, FTX, inflation, war in Israel... and bitcoin continued its natural movement, it is even well advanced, I imagined that at halving the price would be at 35-40k range. But it passed that and we reached ATH, an unprecedented fact... I'm quite bullish, this year and the next promise to be very interesting, just be patient.

I don't see anything new to what has been said by that guy and what you have just brought in here. It's true that we pass on these prices levels that we have right now and then we'd surely proceed to $70k and up.

Everyone is believing that we're going to see these surges in no time because we're passed the halving and that's where we all believe is going based on historical facts and charts.

$100k and more is gonna be hit as a new ATH not this time or year but maybe next year.

Your Bitcoin optimism is spot-on. Yes, absolutely! This is a great opportunity. The best! Famous specialists like Michaël van de Poppe concur that its all in the charts. BTC is about to explode. HUGE potential. Once it gets beyond $63,000, watch out. Its going straight up, possibly $70,000. I know markets, folks. I know Bitcoin

This future economic data? Undoubtedly significant. Remember, markets fluctuate like tides. Dont worry about short-term changes. Crypto is the future. Best is yet to come. So do this: be wise, have patience. This dip? Its gift. Hugest, most lovely present. Get Bitcoin now. Hold on. When it peaks, you'll thank me. Because patience pays off. Remember to win, not simply invest. Bitcoin is our ticket to big wins

according to Coinmarketcapitalization we can see the price chart of bitcoin in 24
hours now and says

Price performance  24h

Low
$60,769.84
High
$63,248.30

and so if what you said is true(or imean Micheal Van de Poppe) says after breaking 63k
we will see 70k and above again so are we waiting then?

Regardless of the current market condition, it still reminds our minds of what happened after halving in the past years. It dumps yes but it rises again and makes another ATH history. We believe that every 5-year market cycle we are able to see another ATH, another breakthrough. This is the reason why despite the sudden drops, many were still calm and not selling their BTC because of faith and knowing that there is always a recovery after the dip.

Of course, those who are uncertain will claim that we are wrong. Perhaps, we don't argue with them because not all are able to see the strong support of the community which drives the price to rally again, they've been influenced by their negativity.

No certainty but I believe Bitcoin and this market in general, would be creating new prive ceiling this year. Of course expectations will still be associated with recent halving . The market price fell hard indeed but at least it sits on the resistance zone which gives me hope for a full recovery few weeks or months from now. I'd rather wait than to panic and sell my holdings because I don't want to regret things afterwards. The bull cycle is just about to start and there's more to hoping recovery.

It even fell down to $16k and that is enough for me to believe that Bitcoin is capable of recovery. What we experienced is just a part of its natural market volatility. What's best is to embrace it and if you have the means to do so, fill your bags more of it and wait for the uptrend to take place. It might not happen soon but there's this feeling that it will.

In the long run, I believe that all of us who are still here have never doubted the future of bitcoin. Bull season will come and bitcoin will hit 6 figures, and we are even very close to that. The recent corrections are making many people skeptical about bitcoin and the market's growth, but most of those panicking are newbies. But for those who have experienced the bull season before, they understand what is going on and they also see this as a great opportunity to accumulate bitcoin before the bull season comes.

The four-year cycle will always exist and the increase or decrease in prices is determined by the four-year moment, but most people don't realize this, they often get caught up in their trading and even panic occurs after the price drop like now, so if you know it This will definitely make you relax thinking that this is a normal thing that happens.

With less bitcoins for Bitcoin block subsidy in future halvings and future cycles, I think price impacts from future halvings will become smaller and smaller. I still see future impacts, positively, from Bitcoin future halvings, just impacts would be smaller than previous halvings and market cycles.

Will Bitcoin come to a day that a halving will no longer create big or nearly no price impact?

Honestly I don't believe it will happen too soon like next 5 halvings that is 20 more years from now, this period is long enough for me to invest in Bitcoin and hold it to get profit. I don't imagine a longer future than 20 years of investment but I will try to expand it longer with time.

Historically speaking the propulsion of bitcoin from a rock bottom is higher than its previous ATH, so yeah, if the cards are played right this season we might see bitcoin reach the historical 100k or even 150k this bull run, but the thing is, every bull run we have had since 2016 there had been a narrative the whole bull run or at least its initial run was pegged into which helped propel everything upwards. For 2016 it was ICOs, 2020s it was DeFi and NFTs, this year, RWAs and Memecoins seem to show promise, as well as ETFs but those can only do so much when it comes to striking confidence in the seasoned crypto investor's hearts, as well as interest in a newbie investor's side.

While I am very excited to see what this new bull season's about to offer, I'm a bit worried that we're at the final stretches of narratives and we might be scraping at the bottom of the barrel at this point, but it eases me to know that at the very least the market makers aren't going to budge no matter what, so in a way we're still safe and good.

This should be common knowledge for those who know bitcoin. People expected bitcoin to skyrocket immediately after the halving but from history, we know that it's not usually that way. I believe bitcoin would get t $70k and above, the time is what I'm not very sure of.
I see this as an opportunity for those who want to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin is a type of asset that when it's price dips, that should be opportunity for people to buy and make more profit when it goes up again, because it will definitely go up again.
For those that feel they've missed the opportunity of owning bitcoin when it was $30k, now that it's around $62k it can still be an opportunity for them because bitcoin might to to $100k in the next year.

We just have to wait for that to happen. Meanwhile, we can still buy more bitcoins at the current price, which is a good opportunity. When the price increases, we will miss buying at the low price. Many people are disappointed that they cannot buy bitcoin at low prices. Don't let us regret it because we were late buying at a low price.

With the fall in the price of bitcoin or the rise and fall of the price of bitcoin, we have more opportunities to buy it. Maybe after this month, it will be the right time for bitcoin to rise high, so prepare yourself.

$70,000 to $72,000 had been passed before Halving occurred. I analyze that the next price surge will reach higher than that price.
Instead of bothering thinking prices, it's better to monitor the market and make sure the price is still possible to buy before it reaches $100,000.

Maybe quite a lot of people still haven't added to their portfolio, and now is the right time. Currently, we don't know how the market will move, but I also feel that at any time a bull market could occur.

Right. If there would be significant price increase after this dips, I have high hopes that it would be above $73k already, higher compared to what we achieved before halving comes. Probably we can be more hopeful seeing $80k to $100k price range but most likely, it may take couple of months first before we will see this happening.

However, this should not be our focus for today, but make sure to take advantage the market while bitcoin has not reached yet it’s new all time high which I think will be possible when final bull run comes, if not this year, probably next year.

despite the source of this information I think about the only way that we can agree on bitcoin price is now we carry out our own research and the compare it with other persons then the results will determine if what they are saying is truth or not because sometimes when you follow the prediction of Bitcoin it fails and sometimes to it approaches the exact price of Bitcoin because some analysis does not come from a good source and you cannot believe on someone prediction because it can mislead you so I know quite well that cryptocurrency is a something that I know that have to use your understanding for its speculation.

Dips are necessary to clean the market and help it to prepare for next price discovery in a bull run. However, it's unrealistic to hope that price will grow sharply after a dip, and even if price moves like this, it will not be sustainable growth. We need a more sustainable growth with good preparation from re-accumulation that will take some months to finish.

Take advantage of dips to load more bitcoins, with discount price, is good for investors who are experienced and can wisely invest their money at entries which can help them to maximize bitcoin they can purchase with same capital.

I will also keep an eye on it because this release make good impact on the price if its on the side of crypto. Speaking of analysis, many analyst have made the same prediction, I also read this very same prediction from another person.

I think if such predictions are being implanted in the minds of people via news and social media then market will definitely touch that point as people will become a little bit greedy mostly the new ones, when they will see the hype that BTC is going back to $73k then they will definitely put there money in and price will go up and they will be waiting for $74k or $73k while the real players would have booked the profit a little lower then that and must have exited from the market for another good entry.

Certainly bitcoin will recover back and make a new price Hight in the future, this is part of the volitilities in bitcoin and reason why the asset is valuable at all time, holding bitcoin is far more better when you are not checking or minding the market price at USD values on short term bases.

Although none the less, with time we are going to see alot of possibility after the dip and I wish to congratulate everyone what just buy in the last dip.

Well, I think a lot of people believe this. However, I feel that the current situation is one where we can increase the amount of investment we have. Maybe quite a lot of people still haven't added to their portfolio, and now is the right time. Currently, we don't know how the market will move, but I also feel that at any time a bull market could occur.

Definitely this is a dip and every dip is a buying opportunity. People just want the bull run to come fast which is not the way. There was a very strong bullish movement in last 10 months. So base on demand and supply theory and the history of bitcoin it was logical to assume that we will be hit with a dip for some months. Many took profits while the new ATH was gotten which should have caused the dip.

Now it’s time to accumulate and wait for the correction to be over.

It does not matter if it takes one more week or a few weeks before breaking out the range. Also, no one can say that this is the final dip before Bitcoin going towards the all time high again. It can dump a few more times too before moving out of the range.

My point is that no one can time the market perfectly but one thing we all are at an advantage is that bitcoin will reach new highs in this bull season so the current prices are the time of shopping where you can accumulate bitcoin as much as you can. After a few months, we shall regret that we did not buy Bitcoin at its current price.

Although I have faith in a new ATH in the near future, the fact is that we can't be sure about it. Maybe this is not the best forum to ask for predictions because we all love Bitcoin so we are all biased, and I cannot agree with those who claim that the 100k price is a sure thing, even if I believe myself that it's gonna happen.

Left the future aside, the fact is that I'm not worried about present dips. It was not exact science, but many people foresaw a dip after the halving, it has happened before, and has nothing to do with the next move, normally upwards. In fact, I would say that it is even healthy, the shakeout I mean.

We are all hopeful that it will bounce higher after all BTC always does this after halving. It better be higher because I think a lot of people already risk their savings hoping this halving will bring the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them.  Its the waiting for it to happen that is however going to test the patience of those who are impatient.

Is there any upcoming Bitcoin event that I am missing? As you mentioned, everyone is waiting for the upcoming weeks, so expect something. For a few weeks, Bitcoin has shown negative movements; it's like something Bitcoin takes a break for fueling. And the altcoin market crashed unexpectedly, if you compare it with Bitcoin. So once bitcoin started pumping, and I hope alts will recover so fast as well. But the question is: when will Bitcoin start pumping? We know someday Bitcoin will touch $100K, but we don't know the timing. So holders will be gainer always. For me, we may see a green candle in the next month. Because already took enough rest.

Some may see the dipping of the market as a chance to acquire more bitcoin while some may lose confidence and start selling theirs. Just choose which one you want to be.
When prices decline, of course there are two types of investors. some have lost confidence in bitcoin so they panic and sell, there are also those who use this price drop as a discount price for buying bitcoin. Basically it's up to us to choose, but if he is a true bitcoiner of course he will choose the right choice, namely taking advantage of the decline as a price cut because he believes this decline is positive before the price jumps higher.

Quote
It’s not that difficult to imagine since bitcoin already reached up to $70,000 or more during its peak. At this point it is just a matter of “when” and not “if”. We better prepare and get ready for when the bull run properly starts.
We have just gone through the bitcoin halving, of course if you look at the history of previous halvings the bull run will occur after a few months after the halving so the bitcoin price to reach $80k could also happen in the next few months just don't ask when, what we need to do now is prepare before the bull run happens so that we don't regret it later when the bull run happens.

Not only you, almost everyone believe we will see a bull season after few months dips, just take a look with the past histories.

The analyst said that Bitcoin is currently trading in a tight range and could rise to around $70,000 to $72,000 if it breaks through the $63,000 level.

I agree with you, bitcoin is bigger than just one country, and the op saying that the fate of bitcoin will be determine by data which is to be release by a single country is wrong. Just as you have rightly said, even if United States ban bitcoin or whatever data that they will release doesn't support bitcoin that doesn't change anything. China banned bitcoin yet nothing happened, bitcoin is bigger than what some people thinks or imagined. There are many more countries that are adopting everyday and many others will still follow, trying to make one country as having authority over bitcoin is wrong from the Op.

its obvious, from the chart shows that we have exactly matching pattern to previous bullrun and currently getting some price correction and its totally normal and inline with whats reflected from the past chart,
i'm sure that we gonna go as high as $100k after this price dips and the price surge will probably happened at the end of the year but to be frank there's no way to determine exactly when the price surge gonna come anyway.
one thing for sure, couldn't go wrong with buying at current price dip because we might double the investment if the bullrun were really to come.
many people are probably doubtful due to the market showing rather weak price movement towards bullrun but thats totally okay.
previous bullrun peolpe are also full of doubts before they see that the price has grown to the height that they don't really expect.
the doubt will eventually subsides and will turn into euphoria once they know that the price keeps surging and surging though undoubtedly in every bullrun there's price limit.

It's yet to know that Bitcoin will surge or it will get more dips but if I'm not wrong then it's the time when weak hands will continue selling their holdings and also the ones who have been holding their Bitcoin that they bought at previous bull run's ATH.

Institutional investors want to see more dips because they want to accumulate more Bitcoin at cheap rates. I'm 100% sure that anyone who invests in Bitcoin now will have potential profits if he/she holds the investment for 1 and half year. Of course long term holders will gain more profits.

I think the analysis is quite basic and worth referring to. If you have bought at a price of $ 60,700 yesterday you should just hold it according to the directions that have been analyzed by Michaël van de Poppe and the process is like that and why a reputable analyst will always maintain his integrity in giving information.

What you don't do is follow the signals in the telegram group that always buy this coin now, even though if we check the price has increased by more than 10% after posting. Beware of signals that such models will be fatal as a result, let alone the market again declining phase.

Right. If there would be significant price increase after this dips, I have high hopes that it would be above $73k already, higher compared to what we achieved before halving comes. Probably we can be more hopeful seeing $80k to $100k price range but most likely, it may take couple of months first before we will see this happening.
$73,000 exact numbers when the candle chart is green from the current price situation. $80,000 will be the target price that indicates the highest achievement will begin if the market does not experience obstacles as happened lately.
Hope to expect the latest more dominant achievements may be 2025 even though in the next few months we have a desire to occur positively.

However, this should not be our focus for today, but make sure to take advantage the market while bitcoin has not reached yet it’s new all time high which I think will be possible when final bull run comes, if not this year, probably next year.
ATH is a new incident that will definitely be achieved according to us is optimistic. It is true that we don't think too much about it. If it does not happen this year, it is still possible to happen next year. Instead, it's better to focus on efforts to add volume regularly.

I also believe that bitcoin will go into a correction and bitcoin may double in value during a bull run. Bitcoin ups and downs It is normal thus bitcoin boasts its new record. Many investors are buying and holding bitcoin as the price drops making it a great time for them to buy bitcoin deep. Now if you don't it's not worth investing in anything. Investing in bitcoin is less risk of losing your money and it will be a nice in the future.

If we zoom out the chart and look at the long-term picture, bitcoin has only had one trend over the past 15 years: bitcoin has only gone up and up. And because bitcoin is a financial market, short-term corrections are normal and not surprising. If someone takes the time to study how financial markets work and about bitcoin, people will realize that bitcoin will increase in price and will reach ATH over time. And we don't need to listen to any expert explanations or analysis.

The worst scenario we will face is that history will not repeat itself and we will not have a bull season after the halving. But in the long run, bitcoin will still increase and increase over time.

to say that the fate of bitcoin is determined by news from america seems to be an exaggeration, because the bitcoin market has performed well in recent years, even though at some times it has dropped significantly, but if we look back bitcoin has had an upward performance. and even as american authorities crack down on crypto platforms there, the bitcoin market is still growing. even though there is still an impact from news coming from america, i don't think it is so significant that it causes bitcoin to experience a serious decline, only a slight correction and that is a normal thing due to the market's response to the news.

All eyes? Hahaha, I don't think the US data is having a lasting impact on Bitcoin other than Bitcoin traditions, news and data like inflation and others. Fine, the US news is key since the USD is the most paired currency with Bitcoin, and it is most popular and mostly traded at the same time, but yet, in my experience, it often has limited effects, the news' effect subsides soon enough.

What I envisage for the cryptocurrency market, especially for Bitcoin is a tight-range market for now. You will be seeing it hitting some higher levels thinking it would go further, but it will soon slip back to selling and hit some lows thinking it would sell further, but would again reverse higher and rebound to hit higher levels once more. It will continue over and over again until $73,850 is breached on the higher side, or $56,450 is breached on the lower side for either buying or selling continuation to happen.

Many people believe that after the dip bitcoin will reach another ATH price, but there are also investors that didn't believe on it because it needs time, we have different sight with regards to bitcoin investment we also have different limitations and emotion when market is on dip, that's the main reason why some earn and some people lose, we don't really know what's next or how many years will come before we can see another ATH all we can do is just prediction. No one can tell us the correct price because the nature of btc price is high on volatility and i believe that all we need is patience to earn.

I can totally see why people feel optimistic that Bitcoin will reach a new all-time high after this latest price drop.  Plenty of folks seem to think it's a prime buying opportunity right now.  But you raise a fair point - not everyone sees it that way and  some investors remain cautious, wanting to see where things land before making any big moves.

At the end of the day, reasonable minds can disagree on this stuff.  I don't think either view makes someone naive or foolish.  It really comes down to your own investing style and stomach for risk.  But one thing's for sure - Bitcoin keeps things interesting! Its price swings tend to spark lively debates, thats for sure.

It would really be always a roller coaster like kind of behavior yet this market is always been like this or really that in default on which means that you should really be that mindful on the moments that it would really be making out some significant movement whether it would be dropping or pumping, then you should really know on when to enter and on when to exit. The main concern on here is to make money or profits with these
market movements or simply with the volatility. Speaking about new all time highs then Bitcoin didnt fail us to give those kind of surprises on which means that in every cycle on bull run event then we do see those new heights. The only thing that we should really be have in mind is to have those at least realistic number predictions or speculations and not into those numbers which are really that too far.

There are really just those people who are really that too positive into things on which the speculated numbers arent really that something realistic anymore.
You should mind yourself to be that placing into the bottom on which you could really be able to maximize that profitability.

Bitcoin price keeps surprising us whether it’s bound to move upward or backward. What’s important is, despite of those inevitable news and updates effects, we all know bitcoin price won’t stay low forever, but it will always recover and skyrocket in the long run. However, the problem is bitcoin has always been mysterious that’s why it’s hard to predict accurately what will be the next move for bitcoin. But if you keep hodling your coins, you’ll have no reason to lose in the end.

The fate of bitcoin doesn't depend on a single authority whether whoever that influencer mentioned in OP or news from a certain country like US. It will have it's influence but its not the entire thing is my point.

As of now we crossed 66K already and at this pace 72K is just a couple of days to reach but I have a strong feeling that we yet to see another correction before the actual bull lands.

Bitcoin can be accessed by all people in the world for those who know how to do it mate, the US does not have the largest number of Bitcoin users, so don't be afraid of Bitcoin, there are still many people out there who will buy Bitcoin at whatever price is offered on it. they will buy the market. It's best if you don't have Bitcoin yet, you can immediately buy Bitcoin in large amounts because soon the bullrun will come.

Or you can just look at the market and see that the movement is a pattern that would likely be recreated from past price movements, that's what most of these institutions and crypto influencers are basing their predictions on, they're not on some kind of baseless prediction so you don't have to be too skeptical about how they're doing their things. I can agree with you about not having any full correction yet though, I think that there's going to be a really big price correction coming, I guess we just need to split up all of the money that we're using for investment just so we can cover that possibility.

Let's just wait though, as per what I read, it was due to the good news that the inflation rate is somewhat slowing down in the US. And with that, the whales and retail investors moving in because of this positive news.

First order of the day though is not $72,000 but $70,000. This whole number is somewhat hard to break, but once we got into a good momentum and reach that price then obviously the next jump will be a new all time high next month.

OP is not saying that the fate of bitcoin depends on any authority, what he is saying is that news about inflation, interest rates will have an impact on bitcoin in the short term and that is true. Bitcoin is clearly being affected by inflation-related news, let's not try to deny it.

If you think that bitcoin is completely independent of the outside world and is not affected by any factors from the world economy. What is the reason why bitcoin skyrocketed to 66 thousand USD? And is it just a coincidence that when CPI was announced, bitcoin immediately increased again? By the way, what evidence do you rely on to prove that bitcoin will touch $72k in the coming days and it will not be affected by any news?

I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip
We know that everyone has their own speculation and understanding of Bitcoin after the halving occurred. We understand that it is everyone's right to consider how to consider it, experiences that have occurred after the halving, changes in Bitcoin are certain, but not for spikes, most likely towards a bear market.

But whatever happens, we remain committed to our own speculation, maybe it's for the best, for me a fall is more promising than a surge, Basically I hope the best for all Bitcoin users, whether they are in investment, trading and so on.

Perhaps your right all along. Bitcoin has recovered in the last 24 hours and its doing extremely well now. I always tell people who are panicking that they should take a chill pill. Its a matter of time we would see the price of Bitcoin back to the ATH. Even so, it is not certain that the price wont drop a little before it reaches there.

Since so many are predicting 100k on or before December then the best time for Bitcoin to reach 8k should be in June. This is my speculating if we dont see the price of Bitcoin around 78k to 85k in the middle of the year then it may not reach the 100k target by December.

We do appear to be hitting up on the top side of the downward trading range that's formed over the last 3 months.  That makes me think that a move up here would breakout of the trading range and allow Bitcoin to retest the all time highs.  I suspect it's a very likely possibility that we'll see Bitcoin take another leg up to around $85K over the next 2 months.  Then I think we'll see the distribution of the mtgox coins finally, and after a short digestion period we make a run for $100K before the end of the year.  This may be my wishful thinking here, but I wouldn't want to be sitting on the sidelines right now.

New investors are coming to invest in Bitcoin and the number of Bitcoin users is also increasing. The Bitcoin bull market attracts more new Bitcoin users to invest in Bitcoin, as we have seen in the past how quickly the number of Bitcoin users grew. The current stage of the Bitcoin market is very interesting, as the market rebounds after every Bitcoin correction, which proves how much interest investors have in Bitcoin. So I expect Bitcoin to go back to new ATH very soon

There’s still a big chance for Bitcoin to reach that price, probably we are just waiting for the right momentum and timing in the market. There’s also a big speculation going on with Bitcoin, let’s see if it will create an up trend in the coming weeks. Don’t just sit there, do some actions that can make you more ready once the market started to pump again, better to play long with Bitcoin.

There’s also a big speculation going on with Bitcoin, let’s see if it will create an up trend in the coming weeks. Don’t just sit there, do some actions that can make you more ready once the market started to pump again, better to play long with Bitcoin.
For now, we still have the opportunity to continue accumulating the amount of Bitcoin according to our abilities and we must be able to try as much as possible to be able to accumulate it so that we can enjoy the profits when the price increases later, if we just sit back and don't do anything, of course we can only look at other people who have achieved success and indeed it would be better if we could invest in the long term in Bitcoin to be able to profit from it.

Nothing wrong with wishful thinking besides it's following some form of pattern that indicates a growth so you're still good with the prediction that the price might be able to go up more than the current all-time high, I didn't know that the Mt. Gox coins would be distributed this month already, I thought that there's going to be some procedures that would involve claims and documents for proof that you've got something stolen from you by the hacks that happened to Mt. Gox. Damn, I do hope that you're right about the price going 100k beyond this year, just recently made a bet with my friend over a bottle of beer about this one, he doesn't have the belief that bitcoin would be able to go to that $100,000 milestone this year and I've taken that bet with him and so far with all the things that's considered about the movement of bitcoin price right now, I think I'm going to win that $100 bet from him.

As of now, Bitcoin is trading at $61,707, down 3.7% in the past week and down 8.4% in the last month. All eyes are now on the key data released by the United States next week that will determine the fate of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.

to say that the fate of bitcoin is determined by news from america seems to be an exaggeration, because the bitcoin market has performed well in recent years, even though at some times it has dropped significantly, but if we look back bitcoin has had an upward performance. and even as american authorities crack down on crypto platforms there, the bitcoin market is still growing. even though there is still an impact from news coming from america, i don't think it is so significant that it causes bitcoin to experience a serious decline, only a slight correction and that is a normal thing due to the market's response to the news.

Do you remember in 2022 when the war broke out, inflation in the US was at its highest level in the past 40 years, the Fed raised interest rates...and how severely was bitcoin dumped? Not only bitcoin but the entire world economy will also be seriously affected if the US economy has problems. Decisions like the bitcoin ETF, lawsuits surrounding the SEC and the market have significantly impacted bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Therefore, it is impossible to deny the significant impact of news from the US on bitcoin or the cryptocurrency market.

I believe that bitcoin's rise to 66k USD in the past 2 days is a positive impact of inflation showing signs of decreasing and there is no better reason.

I have not heard this in a long time and like the advice :)
It's funny how all these guys have appointed themselves experts of Bitcoin but where nowhere to be seen when price was worthless and few believed in crypto...but today have become the loudest!!

Btw, I do agree we don't need the so called consultants because we already know that Bitcoin supply is in a limited supply and price is going in one direction..which is UP.

The corrections take place when there continues huge gain therefore after reaching to 73k$ the price of Bitcoin goes towards the phase of correction. Now everyone is feeling well because of the surging phase where the price becomes more valuable for all investors to take profit but most of them will wait more to enhance their profit.

The better feature of Bitcoin is that whenever it decreases in price then it does not mean that forever it will be lower but it has the capacity to turn greenish after some time. There is no more secure asset than Bitcoin so don't try to find another opportunity because there will be huge risk but Bitcoin can minimize your risk during each bull season.

It is possible to change the current trend momentum, because it is possible that every month from now there will be a change in terms of its price in bitcoin, and others will follow it
with more altcoins too, for sure.

This is what I have seen in previous bull runs, according to the research I am doing at the moment, as if history has always repeated itself in the past few halving's. That's why we don't know how the whale manipulators will do that in this bitcoin industry.

I mean it is clear that people will talk about short term, but they do not realize that short term could benefit from long term as well. Think about it this way, unless you are doing like margin, futures etc where you could get liquidated, then it means that you can hold.

So go ahead, buy whatever you want, however you can afford, if you are right and it goes up then you can sell, and if you are wrong then just buy more and hold. So that is why long term matters when trading, people who are analysts try their best to make whatever they can, but if you know what you are doing and your only aim is to get richer and richer, and not get rich quick, then it means you could do this without a problem at all.

agreed with this, people too fixated on the short term volatility like current price dipping but actually in the grand scheme of things most specifically bitcoin historical chart prices, we are still up higher more than ever, current dipping even doesn't give a dent to what bitcoin has achieved over the course of years.
honestly there phrase holder always win exist not without a reason, at the end of the day people who bought at the very bottom around $20k right now already having good profit of 300% increase, these people are holder that even with many negative news around bearish they are diamond hand that refuse to sell it at such low prices.
the long term investment with bitcoin is always good, from current chart itself we always see that price consistently increases.
even people who bought at ATH back then are profitting already.
just really can't go wrong with long term investment, just be sure to buy low when there's bearish.

What is certain is that after this short term Bitcoin price pump and dump, that the only place that it's going is up, it's obvious from previous experiences that after halving, it'll be price dip and after that it'll be straight way to bull run. This is why many old time investors are not bothered about the short term price dip or speculations, because after all said and done price surge will lead us to bull run, and we don't need a prophet to prophecy this fact. Maybe price surge might start sooner than we expect, presently it's at $67k, so breaking the former ATH might happen soonest, then there'll be no major dip till after the peak of bull run.

Personally, I don't focus on these ranges and I don't trade bitcoin. 60-70k is a range we've visited a couple times over the years and it's not something I'd react to as a bitcoin holder, unless I had a very good reason to do so. It's the 80k+ that's interests me and this is where the real fun begins, when we go above 75k and people start to FOMO.
IMO bitcoin has a potential to go towards $100k and that's going to be the main resistance line because it's such a big and round number, like $1k used to be in 2013. That's where many people will decide if they want to continue holding bitcoin or if they have enough money already.

Precisely. Bitcoin price increase is inevitable so we should not be bothered too much whenever bitcoin price touches some dips because clearly, that is a good motivation for bitcoin to reach an all time high after. We have seen this on the previous years so this isn’t new to us anymore.

Bitcoin is highly volatile so never expect that its price will stay high or low consistently. But for sure bitcoin won’t settle for any low or less value, but it’s price will always appreciate in time, we just have to wait for the right time when it’s suppose to happen.

Its a fair estimate if we have many attempts to sell that fail we are due to test the highs. That is what is occuring right now and if we dont surpass 70k properly its going to loop around once again.  The difference this time is we have made a new high on the weekly bars after declining for a couple months in a row quite clearly a low high each time; a sequence break is significant and can lead to a new paradigm.   So this week is different but my greater  hope is it leads to greater things.

I would not assume much higher until we both pass 70k and prove it to be a new low that people buy at not sell as this has been the case since February.

If am to respond to the thread’s title, I would say it’s pretty normal to expect a highs and higher highs after a dip. It’s just how the market is. It’s never stagnant and doesn’t stay at the bottom, it might have a period of consolidation when the market ranges about a point but there after, it’s sure to pump. Lately, it’s been able to pump to around $67k and then it dumped a little. I hope to see some progress in price through the coming week.

I would not assume much higher until we both pass 70k and prove it to be a new low that people buy at not sell as is the case since February.
$70k mark isn’t being too ambitious, in fact, it’s a nice place to start marking when the bulls would be ready to pick up things and should it happen sooner, we might just be preparing for another ATH even without the bullrun fully materializing.

This is not the first time bitcoin is rising this high and dropping even below $50k so even though it feels good seeing the market make some gains, I will not allow the excitement get me distracted from the main thing which is buying more and making good use of the dip. The time I feel we can be rest assured that the halving induced moves have started is when bitcoin makes a new ATH. When that happens, my projection destination is $100k

I do not know what you are seeing at the 80K+ but my area of interest is 100k which is my pre-halving projections. When we reach this price, I expected some sell off from people who would have been waiting to do so. The only people that will be able to resist the urge to sell at this price are the long term holders.

Basically everyone thinks the same way, that is why it didn't drop all that much and right now trading around $70k levels after the dips. Everyone knows that we are going to go up, we are going to have a great result eventually, which means that we are going to keep investing. If everyone is aware that we are going to end up with such a good result then why would we not care about buying some more? That is what we are going to keep seeing and that should be the most important part of it all.

I know that it is going to surprise with more great levels eventually, that just means that we are going to touch $100k levels which will not be all that complicated, it will be something that will take some time but we are going to get there.

Are you sure that everyone who advises you to buy more bitcoin now has a budget that they can always invest whenever the opportunity arises?
I'm not sure that all of them have the budget to invest, in fact I can be sure that some of them only suggest other people without daring to do it themselves because they don't have a budget and are also afraid that the price is too high.

I understand that sometimes other people can only suggest the best for others, while they themselves are unable to do so for some reason. If someone has a budget and a stable income every month, then it may be worth it for them to buy more bitcoin now and hold it for the long term until their profit target is reached.

Situations like that where everybody thinks alike are usually traps because that attitude pumps longs and it doesn't take much to start a liquidation cascade. When rich people see this it's an opportunity to liquidate overextended levered retards, which is why bitcoin has to increase slowly but surely. When you see a FOMO rally its time to get out or cold storage and get ready for the bear market.

I also think we'll get a new ATH this year, but it could go to $80000 or 85000 and end it there. Don't wait for it to hit a new high to buy because by that time it will be too late.

That is trust and faith - people believe it as it happened in the past when ATH came after halving and that kind of belief is still on their minds despite the drops. Whether it is true or not but I would agree with them and I was also expecting ATH in the coming days.
Their optimism drives them to keep calm and stay strong. But those who feel uncertain will make themselves uncomfortable.

We can say that every drop is a buying opportunity but of course, we can expect everyone will take this especially when they're done already. And I assume that most of us have filled our bags already during the last major correction.

Furthermore, if we spend time understanding the market, we will know that this market has no experts, only cycles and investor psychology. Not only you, almost everyone believe we will see a bull season after few months dips, just take a look with the past histories.

The analyst said that Bitcoin is currently trading in a tight range and could rise to around $70,000 to $72,000 if it breaks through the $63,000 level.

I believe that this dip will soon give way to a price surge that will usher us into the bull run proper, Bitcoin price as of now is over $68k, and I believe that it's only a matter of time and we'll see it's price to reach and pass the last ATH. My speculation is that we will see a $100k price this year, then in the peak we'll see over $150k ATH.

It is true that Bitcoin has gone beyond the control of the US, their input in cryptocurrency can not be denied, but as of today, Bitcoin adoption has increased that many people from other countries are now keying into it massively.

Learning about Bitcoin is very important to be able to make the right decisions when investing, because when we have a good understanding of investment, of course we will be able to do our own analysis and not just listen to other people's predictions, but if they don't take their time to learn about Bitcoin and only listening to other people's predictions, then when we follow other people's advice and it fails, I think this will be very painful because we have entrusted the investments we make to other people, even though we already know that almost no one can predict correctly.

There is a lot of resistance going on at the current moment between 69,000$ and 70,000$. Bitcoin is stable around that price range, but isn't able to surpass the line yet to remain stable above 70,000$. It seems to be just a matter of time until we reach there, but it's still not possible to forecast when it's going to happen exactly. It's possible to have weeks or months of waiting until reaching the ideal scenario for this bull run. Many investors are full of expectations, but at same time many others are impatient and fearful of what is going to happen next.

Whales play with the sentiment of the market and manipulate the events on their own favour. Since we don't know what is going on the backgrounds of crypto market, there is nothing we can do besides waiting patiently for the right time which will inevitably comes at some point... In my opinion the market is too quiet for a bullish season. That is a signal things can change drastically in a very short period of time.

You are right Bitcoin behavior this season is something we couldn't imagined and it's this behavior that is making us to have the believe that Bitcoin is going to hit $100k  and it will be a thing of joy if Bitcoin hit that amount and we invested in it. However, it is good to be positive all the time but sometimes it is also good to consider the negative side of something, what am saying in essence is that what of Bitcoin dip beyond our expectation and imagination because there are people who believed that Bitcoin price can not go below $40k again forgetting the fact that Bitcoin is volatile in nature and we don't know the intention of the team.

I think most of us believes on it, and most of us are waiting for it to happen.
It manages to create a new or break its all time high record this year, and we still have more than half a year to see if it would set a higher record this year.
Hopefully in the next bull run we could see it happen.

My expectations might also be almost the same as what you stated above. All possibilities can come in this market but if it says 40k will drop it seems very unlikely at this time. Even if this happens, the market will catch fire and coins other than BTC will all return to their original prices.

Everyone maintains this unless something extraordinary happens in the market, triggering action by BTC owners who have a large number and capacity to sell them. But that is very rare.

100K preparation in progress until now.

Not only you, almost everyone believe we will see a bull season after few months dips, just take a look with the past histories.

The analyst said that Bitcoin is currently trading in a tight range and could rise to around $70,000 to $72,000 if it breaks through the $63,000 level.

There hasn't been any breakout from bitcoin since this thread was created, bitcoin is still trading below $70k and it is moving sideways creating a depressed market for traders and investors. But I agree with you, sooner or later this correction will have to go away and the crazy bull season we wait for every 4 years will come. The only problem is that it is only a matter of time and those who can wait until the end will receive the rewards that bitcoin brings.

It is true that Bitcoin has gone beyond the control of the US, their input in cryptocurrency can not be denied, but as of today, Bitcoin adoption has increased that many people from other countries are now keying into it massively.

It is true that the fate of bitcoin is not controlled by the US, but I will not deny that the macro news of the world's largest economy is affecting bitcoin. But whatever those effects are, negative or positive, they are short-term, they cannot and never can stop the growth of bitcoin.

I think most of us believes on it, and most of us are waiting for it to happen.
It manages to create a new or break its all time high record this year, and we still have more than half a year to see if it would set a higher record this year.
Hopefully in the next bull run we could see it happen.

While waiting for the potential bullish run, ask yourself - what are you doing to prepare for this possible rise? Just like when the OP created this thread this month alone. He said btc was trading more than $61k level, and look at how much we have now, more than $67k. So not even a month, we already saw the increase of btc. If you bought in that level, you are already gaining profits.

My point here is that - we can always speculate on what may possibly happen to this market. But our actions are equally important to take advantage of our speculations. If not, it is useless to speculate without doing nothing and just observing the market.

yes we believe that new ATH will be created and surge will happen but now the price is not so higher like it is 67k$ which is lower as compared to previous ATH. There are lots of predictions according to the different speculators but the time will shows that which prediction is accurate.

Few months will be required for making the prediction about hype accurate so we should be prepared for each type of Condition and if we don't see another ATH till the end of this year then we should not loss our hopes but should wait as halving does not show sharp changes.

buying at this time is too risky because the price of bitcoin and some altcoins is high. To be honest, right now I'm confused about the market situation because the halving started a few weeks ago but the price of bitcoin is still stable. Yes, until now the price of bitcoin has not shown any signs of increasing drastically because for the past few weeks the price of bitcoin has been stable between $60k-$70k. if I have to buy I will not buy now and I will wait for the halving moment to end and wait for the bearish market.

If you want to buy BTC, it's best to do it now, don't think about the issue of the increase because BTC will automatically rise when the time comes, unless you buy something other than BTC. Yes, you have to diligently look at the BTC price, if it shows a decrease, prepare a stop loss immediately, otherwise the decline will continue and the value of your assets will fall too. just my experience.

Some issue of those people who are hesitant is that on the moment that they would be tending to buy then they would really be waiting up for the bottom price on which they would be simply pertaining about that huge dip or correction on which i cant really be able to blame them specially to those who do have those past experiences on previous cycle of this market on which it did really happen. This is why they do assume out that it would really be happening again into this current cycle and this is why they would really be hesitant on making up some buy position on this current 70k price mark on which they do believe that it is really that still high on making entry. They've been thinking about maximum profitability on which of course it would really be that a normal approach but come to think that we do have some fundamentals that did happen into this cycle which it didnt happen in the past on which it might be a solid reason that we might not be able to have that huge dip or correction.

So decisions would really vary from person to person whether they would really be making some act now or would really be waiting up a little further.
So it would really be on someones choice imho.

You don't have to buy all at once or in an all in fashion, just got to make sure that you're buying in small quantities, remember that in bitcoin investing, the key is the consistency in your investment no matter the price, you might argue that the price is too high and you don't want the possibility of seeing losses but think also about the possibility that the dip you're looking for is what you'd consider to be the highest price, then at the end of it, you waited for nothing at all.

Your speculations were absolutely right. Although i have believed a long time that after the dip there would be a new ATH soon. However, there has been some increase in the price of Bitcoin for days now and today we say it at 71k which means that we should be expecting a bull run soon enough.

If it continues this way we would see the price go to 100k before the end of August. And it is quicker than we expected, very close to the previous ATH, once some green candles comes up again then we would see another increase by weekend.

It will get new highs but just how far and deep is that dip will remain under debate for an extended period of time.  We havent yet cleared that debate and it could go on for months yet.   Im more optimistic when everyone gives up and its really just because their nerves are tested and they got tired of waiting for all the tries to trade up to succeed.

2024 cant be called a consolidation year, its risen alot but the gains are better off being confirmed and tested where and for however long its necessary for the longer term strength of BTC.   Erratic shorter term volume whatever the pricing just doesnt rate as important and it will give way to whatever trend is in play over the bigger time periods such as months, quarters even years.

Im convinced halvening is something that resolves in its influence over a year or more, we speculate in the short term but actual moves are glacial imo.

Well, it is truly good to be positive but when you think negatively at times too, it is good at the same time, do you know why? It will prepare you for the unforeseen circumstances instead of being too relaxed. We should not believe everything will be rosy with Bitcoin all the time because, there are situations where our positive beliefs will always be right and at times too, it may be wrong. The market is highly uncertain, so nobody can know it all, which is why we should be dynamic just as the market is.

What we should do overall is to continue to be speculative to know what could cause certain issues against the buying and what will help it to rise, but we should never be sentimental about this. The moment we see the market behaving otherwise is the moment that we should either close our trade or divest so that we can rethink on what to do next instead of wasting money cheaply. Bitcoin as we see it today is facing liquidity challenges, to be honest, who knows when this will last? It will take a breach and sustainable staying above $73,850 for me to take Bitcoin seriously on the bullish path again.

You can imagine, since March, it has not even been able to reach that level again after many attempts. I do not think it will do that any time soon even though this month is so promising for the coin in my view. Nevertheless, it seems to be at a crossroads now where strong support and resistance are playing vital roles in stabilizing it at a point between $55,000 and $73,850. Let's wait and see.

It requires a large amount of capital to be able to buy all at once and it is not certain that when we make the purchase the price is in a declining condition and we could buy it when the price is heading towards an increase and this will make the profit we get less than those who buy in small quantities but buy it By being consistent at any price, I think we will be able to make a profit when the price increases later and in my opinion it would be better if we could buy it at any price and also use funds that we can hold for a long period of time.

If we invest anywhere, the risk will always be there. It's all up to you, do what you think is best, we can't tell you when to buy this asset. Remember that investment requires a long time to enjoy optimal results from what we invest in Bitcoin assets. If I were you I would buy it without delay, even though the current price feels very unpleasant for us as lower middle class people, I will still buy it every month and continue using the DCA technique until the time and price I target I will get in selling the asset me and of course I will enjoy what I have started planting today.

There's a lot of pre-delivered advice - they're even willing to tell you the strategy. One important thing is – understand the risks and control everything with mission, not ambition. You are right about; there is no quick path to success - it all takes time and sacrifice. If today you are ready to accept volatility as a consequence of investing - then you should be really ready to get the return.

The best time to invest is when you have a budget and when you are ready to take all the risks. There is no investment without risk - everything is risky, but you have to learn how to recognize risk and even know how to minimize it.
