Title: Becoming A Confident Trader In The Crypto Space
Post by: MarvieJ on May 13, 2024, 04:44:32 PM
Last year my friend gave me some tough love. He said, "Step up your trading game, especially with futures trades. Stop relying on me for signals and missing out on opportunities due to trading anxiety. Take the reins, my friend!" At first, I thought my world had ended as a broke trader, but then I remembered, this is the year I'll become the trading legend I was meant to be! He sent me some online futures trade competitions, including one on Gate exchange. I was pumped, ready to show the world what I could do. But my inner chicken made an appearance, and I chickened out.

Not one to give up, he sent me another competition on Bitget - KCGI trade competitions. They had various sections, including copy trading, futures, and spot trading. I signed up for the demo trade section, ready to show traders who's boss. Well, I didn't exactly bring home the gold... I didn't even qualify for any prizes, only receiving 25 BGB for trying. But as they say, "If at first you don't succeed, try again." And that's exactly what I'm planning to do this year. The KCGI trade competitions are coming back, and I'll be there, ready to take the trading world by storm. Wish me luck, folks! When I succeed, I'll be bragging about it to anyone who'll listen!

good luck. i tried joining the competition before but what i see on the emails of those who joined are all just throw-away emails. maybe this time they will ask KYC to all those who joined, maybe things are fairer these days.

why i say fairer is because if we are trading the altcoin that sponsors the competition, it looks like they are the ones trying to direct where the market is going.

Nice story for another shill post for Bitget competition. Everyone knows that exchange competition are for whale traders because it always involves trading volume which is impossible to conquer with low capital even if you are using futures trasing since other user use futures trading too with high capitals.

This KGCI tournament or whatever kind of competition you are shilling for Bitget exchange is surely the same with other exchange competition. You should chicken out when participating on exchange competition since you are struggling on your trading while this competition will not help you to improve.

It's always been like this. But still, I'd wish him if this is true. Good luck with your adventure, I hope that you'll do well in the crypto space. And to all of those participants. It's a low-key way of shilling the exchange that he's been working with. I have not joined competitions anymore but before I do, I know I won't be able to make it compared to the others and even I try hard with or without those thresholds and limits, I never made it even for consolation prizes.

Lolz!! You don't have to brag about anything but try your luck. And since you have gotten the fundamental of trading then the next thing for you to do is persistent practice as your friend instructed and as you are doing is the best way to perfect the trading market. Really if you were relying on you friend and he was giving you signals to trade, you won't grow in this trading business and any day wouldn't give you signals then you loss well.

When you are doing it by yourself then you will master the trading tools and becomes a perfect trader in the future. And if you do well your friends will even ask you for some tools to increase their skills. I wish you all the best.

Trading is not actually a thing you could feel to be the best because there are smart and intelligent trader out there whom you can't actually compared yourself with although it all depends on the level of your knowledge and self education, that is to say, a self confident also attributes alot. There are lot of traders who are professionals and doesn't want to show themselves but when a competition comes up they always emerge as winners. However, I wish you good luck on your trading competition.

Trading is another way of making money in the crypto space but we must stop overthinking that this will surely give us wealth.
Of course, you can tell people that trading is good and show them your success story but don't brag and force them to do that. Remember that trading is not for everyone and it might possibly be going to happen that you will not succeed.
And some traders are right - don't get fooled by other trader's success stories because many of them are fake.

As far as I'm not one of your openent in the trading competition, I wish oti well and good.
Remember the demo isn't 100% reliable as there could be either emitted or added features to it and you must also understand the Demo would only give you some primary hints about the network background and not really going to be easy in a real time trading u like how flexible s d easy it may be in the Demo. It's just better you engages more on real time trading so that you can practically mastermind the system.

Good luck with your competition goals. I've never been a good futures trader myself and always envy the large profit they display on exchanges. When I copy a successful strategy, the ultimate demise of it gets started. That makes me wary of copying them. The problem with my futures trading is I make money on most of them but the profit are small and the few times I lose, the loss are huge. That's why I have limited myself to spot trading, even though I'm in loss compared to USD, I'd have more coins.

Your friend is right. As a trader, time is of an essence so if you need to take your time to consult someone else then maybe you are not in the right career path. Traders need to be decisive, quick and sure. You also wouldn’t want to end up disappointed with your friend if he had made a mistake that you followed.

Your friend is a real one, not giving up on you and instead kept on encouraging you. Keep trying and learning and most especially keep that friend for life   ;D

There will surely be one thing that you are so good at and that is shilling!

I mean, look at the neutral feedback left on your profile. It best describes your character, and it seems you haven't changed a single bit from the time of the feedback

Your risk management techniques needs to be worked on, if you get that right, then your risk reward ratio would be different. I can recommend some books to read and some Yt videos to watch. OP seems excited about the competition so I wish her well cos I heard KCGI is a fierce trading tournament but also exciting. She should update on her progress lol

You are very lucky you have a friend like this, this is really what a friend must be, helping each other to grow and earn together.
I also remember I had some friends before that I introduced them cryptocurrency and right now I can see them they already making some good money like investing and trading.

Even though I wish the OP luck in this competition that he's obviously shilling for bitget, I also doubt his chances of winning, since it's the whale traders that have the more trading volumes in these exchange competitions. It's a good thing that he's not relying on signals from his friend to trade and I'd advise him again to concentrate on improving his trading techniques and increase his confidence, so he won't be trading with emotions.

All I can say to you op is that the important thing is that you know what you are doing and what you are saying about that matter. Whether I join or participate as long as I can to qualify. Besides that, being a trader also really needs confidence as an individual.

Because if you don't have a confident there is no reason to stay or enter this trading industry, that's why we conduct analysis because we are confident that we can somehow predict the coin we hold no matter what.

Confidence is indeed necessary in carrying out any activity, but sometimes people who are not aware of their excessive self-confidence only show themselves to be arrogant and forget that above strength there is strength and so on. You may feel like you are the greatest among the others, but that is all just for your own motivation, not really recognized by other people. There is no need to show who we are to the world if we have quality, then the world will recognize you without needing to be asked. Any type of trading will not always be within your grasp. Other people also make entries in different positions, fluctuations and pressure will change someone who is optimistic into overthinking.

good luck :D

It takes time and some experience to get there, a lot of people hope to do better but they do not want to put the work in, which causes a lot of trouble, we keep seeing people wanting to get richer and richer, whereas they end up getting worse and worse because they just put money up on things that they do not understand, as long as people keep doing that then they are not going to get any better at all.

I personally believe that if people do not put up the work to get better and study for being a better trader, they can keep trading as much as they want and they would still not be any good at all. I get that it may not be simple to understand the work, but you need to keep doing it to get better, otherwise you will never be that good at all.

You have to trade intelligently trading is a platform where everyone's success story is not the same. There is competition here and it is difficult to succeed based on the competition of others. When you trade online, you are running a small business. You should not operate a business without a business plan. To trade successfully you must have a proper trading plan or strategy. Just as one can put one's emotions aside one can find a way to step into the chaos of the stock market.

Sure, if you are trading the coins of developers in competition, it is likely to be manipulated because the system is not free from subjective contributions, such owners might which for bull for the coin to hype it more while you are selling then you definitely won't get the position correct or the direction will be hinged even if it was suppose to be in same direction with your analysis.

Wish me luck, folks! When I succeed, I'll be bragging about it to anyone who'll listen!

I wish you luck and have a good trading experience this time and get the price.

If we are calm when transacting or investing with crypto, then self-confidence is the main key to achieving success, and it is very common for this calm to be created due to greater experience and knowledge, and they can easily take advantage of any market situation, So before trading with crypto, you should first study the coin you choose, so you know how the coin is developing.

Becoming a confident trader is not only by participating in trading contest, you should develop a trading strategy which you can be practicing on the demo account of any broker or exchange you are using. After you have master your strategy, you can then invest real capital and you need to only invest a little amount and start trading with it. After you have become more perfect and known how to manage your risk level, then you can step up your trading amount.

It is necessary to be confident in trading, but to become confident, there are things that need to be paid attention to and cannot be avoided. Your friend is right, don't rely on the signal that everyone gives. But more so, how do we want to study and analyze each indicator from the coin market chart that we will trade. because that is one of the basic things for every trader to have, the ability to analyze charts and markets, both TA and FA. This cannot be avoided or underestimated and that's why rely on signal. It won't take long to be successful because after all, if you want to achieve something higher, that means you have to be prepared with higher and harder efforts too, right?

Becoming a confident trader is not only by participating in trading contest, you should develop a trading strategy which you can be practicing on the demo account of any broker or exchange you are using. Exactly, joining trading competition is only one of the ways to test and develop the trading skills. For, this must be followed by professional traders that have been experiencing in trading. But if it is for new trader, it seems not conformed to the situation, because it is the competition. So, rather than joining trading competition early, it is better to  prepare ourselves to understand and also being more advanced in trading, with certain strategy and analysis.

Most newbie traders at this time are usually testing their strategies and practicing on the demo account. If you are trading on a demo account, you are still trading on the original market volatility, but not with real funds, and you can learn from other professionals, acquire their trading strategies, and test them on the demo account. If you make profit on that demo account and you apply the same strategy to the real account, you can make profit too. In my opinion, a demo account is the best way to practice trading. In the past, I never really thought it was, but I realize it.

Your buddy have really done you a big favour by not sending you signals because when he does, you’ll not want to learn again and will depend fully on those signals which never make you the legendary trader you can ever become. Signals are group though, but those are for people that are just looking to get some bucks off trading to fund their real projects. It works for them but also comes with his own risks and when the sender of those signals don’t do again or ended it, you’ll go back to square and it will be like you never learned anything all your life at trading. Becoming your true self trader is the best, don’t joke on it now matter how long I’ll take you to achieve that goal.

Competitions surely looks like it would be a good way to show the world how good you are, but also to yourself as well which is the more important part. I think it is clear that as long as you trust yourself and do as well as you possibly could, then you should be proud of what you are doing.

A lot of people do not see that changing all that easily, but if you keep on trusting yourself then you will be doing fine in the end, a lot of people will have a lot of trouble with it, and you will have a lot of people who doubt you, but at the end you will realize that you need that confidence in yourself to make that trading work. A lot of people lack the confidence and the doubt makes them make wrong moves.
