Title: I Need Good Recommendations For Dexs On Solana
Post by: Joseph-P on May 16, 2024, 02:09:12 PM
Hi folks! Based on your trading experience, what other good dexs are there on Solana?

I've been using Raydium ever since I first started transacting in Sol chain and I'm looking to explore some new options. Raydium has served me well, but I'm curious to hear about other quality decentralized exchanges on the Solana network that you've had success with. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I aim to diversify my DeFi activities. I'm open to exchanges with unique features, competitive trading fees, and strong liquidity. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I only familiar with Jupiter, Raydium and Orca, there are still many Solana based swaps out there, but it's just riskier.

Since you've use Raydium, my recommendation is Jupiter since it's also have many selections and pairs.

In this list https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/decentralized?chain=solana , it seems only Meteora is another decent swaps, while the other swaps only have few coins and very low trading volume.

I regularly use Raydium & Orca, apart from those two DEXs there are no other DEXes on the Solana network that I use. For me, only the two DEXs that I mentioned make me comfortable in trading and also both DEXes have great fundamentals & adoption. Maybe the list from Alchemy can provide a little explanation about the DEXs on the Solana network, you can read it here: https://www.alchemy.com/list-of/decentralized-exchanges-dexs-on-solana

Just on coin provider, and see the list on Solana.

Moslt everyone are gonna to used the famous one, like Raydium. IMO, the experience are just the same people using dex-exchange for trading and swaping nothing else. So, basically just same things.

Better to search on the coin provider.

Well, according to CoinMarketCap you can check the dex lists and there is a SOL option there, which shows that Raydium and Jupiter have the two biggest market share. I am not saying that they are the best, because "best" is subjective and there isn't really any metric to calculate something subjective.

However, I can say that they are the most used ones, which should mean something. If all the people are using those two mostly, then there must be some reason out there for them to be used more than the others and it hasn't been just a day or two, this has been going on for a long time as well. So, if you really want to try, I would suggest starting with these two first, and see if you enjoy them or not, if you do then you have your answer.

My recomendations from DEX on SOL.

1. Jupiter
2. Orca
3. Drift
4. Raydium

I have frequently used them all and they are always giving me good impressions. They are nice, but I would pick Jupiter because it is the most popular dex among all users in the Solana ecosystem and you can also get more benefit from using it. Im very often in using jupter dex till this time.

I've provided you with a link to the list of solana dex. You can choose the one that is most suitable for you.

Based on my experience with Solana network I think Jupiter is a solid decentralized exchange (DEX) offering user better rates and deeper liquidity. Jupiter is had recently rewarded its users with generous airdrop and fortunately I was also beneficiary of it. In addition to Jupiter there are also other DEXs such as , Raydium, Step finance and Drift protocol. For detailed information , please visit the below given link:

Raydium is indeed good and one of the most recommended by those who have solana. One more I am hearing is mango markets which is said to be recommended for use if your focus is on trading.

Though I hear that sollet has low transaction fees accompanied with very speedy transactions as well

You are already using a good DEX, you can check Jupiter. It has more volume and good liquidity than others mentioned in your thread. I personally haven't used it but in late January this year it surpassed Uniswap. You can find the details about fees that they charge on this website link https://station.jup.ag/docs/apis/adding-fees

Raydium and Jupiter are the default way into Solana Dex. For staking and liquidity farming, my goto at the moment is Kamino finance. It's a great defi everyone should follow. They are also having airdrops for the users who use their platform. Solend is another popular lending platform on Solana, the borrowing rates here are much cheaper than on kamino finance, while lenders would prefer kamino.
I at the moment am focused on buying coins on presale with Solana which are provided by pinksale and my staking and liquidity pair farming needs of stablecoins and blue chip coins are fulfilled by kamino finance.

Raydium is the best in my opinion, obviously they all do the same thing but I like the UI of Raydium. It’s easy to use, it pairs well with Trust wallet. It’s my top choice but many people will disagree.

Very correct. The decentralized exchange within in ecosystem of Solana might partially not be so unique but the same because they shares the same blockchain networks.
But on the sequence to the Ops request, let me just say Radium, Serum and Orca and within the range for him to consider and also go on research on the coins provider to suit its preference and not just relying on recommendations of fellows where in the thread.
