Title: Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend?

There are times the price of bitcoin will not be that volatile but very less volatile within a close price range. There are times the price will fall, like during the bear market. There are some times that the price will increase. We should not always expect the price to continue to increase, there can be sometimes that can look like stagnation but the price of bitcoin will later surpasses that price and more vitality would be seen.

Can you post the transaction ID as proof, not saying that you didn't do it, it just that everyone can claim that they've bought bitcoins, if you know what I mean. You have to be careful about how you buy bitcoin, remember that even with all this hype and the trend of the price going up, the volatility of bitcoin and the possibility of it suddenly going down is a real thing and you might not be ready for the value of your bitcoins go down which could lead you to panic sell which in the case of you buying 2 bitcoins, it's going to be a big loss, make sure that you're ready of the possibility that the price will go down because if you're not, you will lose a lot.

As an emerging asset, the development and acceptance of Bitcoin will also be affected by various factors, including regulatory policies, technological innovation, market demand, etc. Therefore, it is crucial for Bitcoin investors to maintain rational thinking and long-term vision.

But I want to tell you that I am a woman, not a brother :'( :'( :'(

I don't know how much money you hold that is allocated to investing in Bitcoin. Buying 2 bitcoins at once indicates that you are very enthusiastic about this increasingly developing technology in taking advantage of opportunities that can generate profits when the price is in a bullish trend. I know, even though you have just joined this forum, your knowledge of Bitcoin investment is beyond doubt, it is impossible for you to invest large amounts of money without having an understanding of Bitcoin. Only by attaching the TX Hash can it be proven that you have carried out the transaction, it's not that we don't believe in your ability to buy 2 bitcoins. We need evidence such as TX ID or image attachments to prove these claims are not just empty talk.

We are entering summer and usually summer months, especially August. Are going to be very dry. I try and trade as much as I can but it seems there are no opportunies at the moment. Market is going nowhere.

The etfs are still adding bitcoin so it’s obviously bullish long term. We will see what will happen with the ETH etf. It’s very bullish that crypto has went this far in the financial world. It means that the long term growth will always be positive. But I feel the next few weeks and months will be nothing but sideways trading.

On what specific timespan? Because I'm pretty sure bitcoin generally hasn't always been in an uptrend.

But for weeks, it looked like the largest cryptocurrency was trading sideways at best.
A sideways market has existed and bitcoin has always experienced a sideways price trend in the past even before the ETF existed. And a few weeks is nothing lmao, try months.

Since this has always been the case and is one of the characteristics and expectations in business and marketing in general, the value of bitcoin will never remain constant. Instead, it will always fluctuate by increasing or decreasing in value. In order to know when and how to trade, purchase, or sell your coin, simply adhere to the Bitcoin road map.

Don't be in a hurry.

How long it has been since the ETF of Bitcoin has been approved and traded? It seems that the generation nowadays are always in a hurry and always want to see Bitcoin's action everyday.

It doesn't go like that but we're going in the bull run anytime soon and you have to do is to wait for it. It's not always green but it's also not always going to be red.

Yes, Bitcoin has been in sideways movement since the previous peak at around 73K$ after the approval of the ETF. Since that time, we have not witnessed significant movements and the price ranges in the same price area between 67-71K$.

Major price changes do not occur until a few months after the halving, and usually there is a stagnation in the price for some time before we witness significant increases. It is expected that we will continue this for a few months, perhaps until the end of the year and the beginning of the new year.

The current situation is a bit boring, but I do not expect to see a significant rise in the price before the end of the year.

But, Bitcoin will always in uptrend if you hold for long term period.

All these are happening only because you are considering a volatile cryptocurrency called bitcoin, if it does not appears like this, many would not be profitable in it and well as some will not find a means of coming in to invest on it, the same way which means we should always expect the rise and fall of the same coin on each market season, while we are expected to know how the trend goes and the way the market pattern moves in a direction we could easily go along with, make an investment and be profitable.

When it comes to valuing things in fiat, everything is in an uptrend with a long enough time frame. This is because the government spends money irresponsibly and has gotten themselves into enough debt that getting out of the position they’ve found themselves in is impossible. This will result in endless inflation and the destruction of the dollar.  There is no other way.

If its your first time then the advise that i could say is that you should really that get used to it. We arent that dealing on a market that pumps forever no matter how positive or negative the news or fundamentals would be but still it wont really be something that gives out assurance that it would be going up. Uptrend? We do have something that called a market trend on which there would really be bearish, bullish
and sideways or consolidation period on which it would really be something that will be happening in the market. This is why on the moment that you do find yourself that dealing up with this market
then you should really that getting used it.

Go with the flow and dont counter trade it because once you do find yourself having that kind of opposition about trend then you are just basically be putting up on a tough situation
or simply having those loses or negatives. If you are someone who would really be that tending to hold for long term then there would really be no issues.
It would really be just that depending on how you would really be handling yourself.

We are still not at the time it should be going up, I get that people think that we are going to get higher and higher, which isn't really that impossible and we may actually do that, but we need to realize that we are going to make some return for sure.

I feel like we just need to give it some time, most usually the fourth quarter is when the increase starts during bull years, and because of that I feel like we have a few more months before we can start. I would suggest getting as much as you can now, before that bull run starts. Obviously, after a year or so, we will peak somewhere at the top, and I would suggest being careful because we are going to end up with a lot more stuff in the end, we should probably just see bear in 2026 most likely.

It’s hard to anticipate bitcoin taking an upward position all the time. That is not possible with such a volatile investment and having and unpredictable market. However, we still have this confidence that bitcoin won’t drop its price to its lowest, although it may dump at some point and experience price crash, but always know that bitcoin won’t settle anything less and invaluable in the future, but will still end up having a significant price that may have chances to soar high and skyrocket in the end. That’s how confident I am with bitcoin’s future.

This is how the market works, market has to face accumulation and distribution face, or consolidation in another terms. When you see that the market is moving sideways, it means the market market is currently taking orders Buy/sell orders and after that what will happen next is expansion in the direction of demand or supply side, depending on the side that has greater market bid.

Bitcoin is preparing its way for possibily another explosive movement to the up side and the longer it takes, more massive the movement would become.

No? Pretty obvious that since said surpassing of ATH, bitcoin dipped down once again to 60k. And even then, if you consider how Bitcoin dropped off from 2021s 60k to 15k a couple of months ago, it's pretty obvious. As for it moving sideways, I'd say it's pretty normal? We steamrolled over 40k and 50k after all, if we didn't stop to stabilize I'd be expecting a massive crash afterward that specific pump. And so far we've already seen it return back to close to 70k after all.

If you're asking in general though well so far it's been an uptrend. But there's always going to be a peak for something imo. Just in Bitcoins' case, we haven't reached it (at least from what I see).

We are yet to enter the half of the year and a lot of investors are s inquisitive to see a continuous uptrend in the price of bitcoin. Oh impatient souls that is now how Bitcoin it was meant to play. We ant be expecting just one forward movement continually with Bitcoin it was designed to vary in prices in real time. The volatility nature is what makes it a unique assets. Both upward movement and downward movement are important for the growth of the Bitcoin price. When it goes down it gives us a chance to be able to buy and when it goes up it gives profit for those wish to sell and take their little profit.

What i am certain about Bitcoin is that in the coming years the price wont be the same as it is now. It will be x larger than the price now. The x is yet unknown but larger is certain.

Bitcoin is a volatile asset so it can go up and down very quickly but don't forget that from both situations it comes out after some time. It cannot remain in just one position therefore if it goes down then don't worry about this dumping as the next step will be pumping because after each bad event there is a good event which can make you profitable.

In the bear market every scam project disappears but Bitcoin is the only currency and investment asset which becomes more profitable after every bear season. Bitcoin never breaks the trust of any investors but those are already disappointed who failed to understand its reality.

Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend?

There was a time rising and there was a time down. Furthermore, for some time in the next time we will still see that the Bitcoin price chart will move sideways before reaching the highest price level of all time which is above the price of $73,777 like the highest price at the moment that occurred some time ago.

I bought 2 bitcoins this morning and it is trending up.

What is your purpose in wanting him to put a transaction ID here?
No need to post the transaction ID if he does not experience problems with his purchase. We prioritize more privacy considerations even though Bitcoin transactions are very transparent.

His coin belongs to him.

Bitcoin is not always in an up trend, there are times when Bitcoin experiences a down and sideways trend. And currently Bitcoin is in a sideways position and I think that it will persist in the next few weeks, until we can wait for positive news which can increase the price of Bitcoin to a better level. However, now it is a pretty good condition to buy Bitcoin - even though there is a risk that there will be a price correction, if the holder plans to hold Bitcoin for a longer period of time, this is not too much of a problem for them, the point is to remain patient and is not influenced by the market.

It doesn't matter for Bitcoin and also for Bitcoin investors who are still holding Bitcoin until now if the price is only sideways without excessive correction in the market. Because it's still much better than all of us seeing a very deep price correction, although on the other hand there are also many people who hope that the price of Bitcoin can quickly increase in the next month because today is the last day of May 2024. And on the occasion I also want to know what your problem is with sideways, whereas there are many other people who now don't have a problem with this.

The price of bitcoin is very fluctuating, I have been paying attention to it for the last few years and there is also a historical price chart that we can always look at and in response to your question whether the price of bitcoin will continue to experience an uptrend, so in the long term I can say yes, the price of bitcoin if we withdraw In the long time since it first appeared, we can see that the trend is up, so don't ever hesitate to invest in Bitcoin because the trend is up, not down.

I believe everyone got high hopes with bitcoin most particularly newbies that we will see bitcoin price in a consistent price increase. I think that would only be possible if bitcoin stops being volatile, and create a fixed upward movement regardless of the condition of the market. However, despite of bitcoin’s unpredictable price, still we are seeing at the moment a slight upward motion for bitcoin, which I think is understandable since we are heading for this year’s bull run.

Yes, patience is the best solution for now. If you can’t do it, then I don’t think you’ll make it big here in the crypto market. Although short term investing with bitcoin is still profitable, but if we can make it big and be patient, that would be more satisfying.

It will not always be in an uptrend position, and you have to look for its historical trend.
The good thing about Bitcoin is that we always have the opportunity to buy again especially during the bear market. A healthy market will always have its downtrend and that is normal, we can't expect Bitcoin to be on top always or else liquidity might not be good if the price stays on top.

Since the launch of a bitcoin exchange-traded fund earlier this year, bitcoin has recovered and even surpassed its all-time highs set during the 2021 bull run. But for weeks, it looked like the largest cryptocurrency was trading sideways at best.

Bitcoin will not always be on the uptrend and they’re are sometimes that it will be on the bearish trend too. What you’re experiencing now is he period of bull run that’s is about to start which eventually make bitcoin be on an uptrend trajectory and all other cryptocurrencies follow the same pattern. It only happen once in a while and the bearish trend always take longer time than the bullish trends. So these moments won’t be there forever to make you feel happy that your portfolios are pumping. Also prepare for the bear market and take maximum profit as soon as you can when you see the chance.

I am never surprised about what is happening in the world of Bitcoin now, I knew a thing like this might happen where the coin would be begging for liquidity to reach some certain high levels. This is mainly because of FUD and the fact that it has reached a high level that is discouraging for investment, as investors would not want to easily commit their money to it at a high and risky level.

Fine, the ETF saga helped Bitcoin to rise, and that happened before the much-anticipated halving which is now becoming a discouragement for the coin as Bitcoin was unable to hit its ATH after halving till now and it is gradually nearing 2 months now after it. The ETF filing of last year and the dramas attributed to it have changed the narratives in the world of Bitcoin which I believe is not so symbolic in terms of liquidity attracted to Bitcoin itself but only for the sentiment created.

Yet, after the ETF has successfully been approved, what has been so significant about the direct investment into Bitcoin through it? That has been my plight initially that people seem not to understand. This is because Bitcoin is accessible by itself without ETF, so the ETF that people hyped so much might not attract as many direct investments as people thought, just as we see today. Well, time will tell and we are patiently watching. Regardless, for now, nothing serious is to be expected unless the ATH at around $73,850 is breached upward.

I'm not him though I like to respond here but I didn't remember exactly so I researched and the results shows that it was approved in January. That is almost 4 months now and we already feel the positive effect last time even though it was very early but that was great because that means that we will still have plenty of time to witness more growth in the price of BTC.

I still agree with you about the generation we have today. I guess this is the effect of being too modern because it speeds up our life and the expectations of the people are now tweaked to be like that. About the bull run, I think we are still on it but its rhythm have only got slowed down due to some reasons.

No, there can never be a single angle like only uptrend or downtrend as most of the time the market would be sideways and occasionally uptrend or downtrend as that's how Bitcoin looks and moreover it's just a misunderstanding of new users that they think the market would always be upwards when they enter market during bull run and vice versa when they enter using bear market.

The fact that many people are eager for the price of bitcoin to increase day by day is not a consequence of the world developing too fast or anything . Simply put , today's young generation is investing with the mentality of wanting to get rich quickly, wanting to become millionaires without spending much time and effort. But things don't work out that way and those with a get-rich-quick mindset will soon have to pay the price with their own money.

Regarding the bull season , I guess it won't come soon because there are still many people in the market with a get-rich-quick mindset . What I mean is that when the market no longer had too many people believing in the bull season to come, many people became discouraged because they couldn't get rich as quickly as they wanted and they sold their bitcoins . At that time , the bull season will come to the shock and regret of many people. The financial market is like that, rewards are only given to those who deserve it.

If you look at the chart of Bitcoin it isn't always an uptrend, it has experienced so many dips or price decrease in the past.
Although I get your point that from beginning till now the price has increased so much, and every time it falls down it would bounce back even higher than the previous price, but we couldn't be so sure about it, we don't know what the future holds.

I bought 10 bitcoins today. Hehe,  just kidding... It's so easy to tell a story without any evidence just to brag. I'm sorry for what you said. Do you think the members will easily believe you in this forum? Although that's your story, so long as you don't show any evidence for what you say, what you mentioned will remain just bragging.

Now, let's go back to the topic. We are still in a bullish trend, although we are in the stage of consolidation in Bitcoin. Even if there is a short bearish, Bitcoin is also able to recover immediately in the market. We just don't know to what extent the ranging is being done now at this price, which can change the trend at any time.

For sure, but I don't see anything surprising, Bitcoin is not always skyrocketing to the moon or doing pumps and dumps like a shitcoin thank God. It needs to consolidate this current level now. But it doesn't reflect the actual level of its adoption IMO, its price is far above it and there is a large part of speculation that could evolve in the coming weeks or months. In the absence of big events scheduled for the next months I don't see reasons for going up further to be honest. If Ethereum ETFs are definitively approved, investors will want to diversify their allocation into cryptocurrencies in order to mitigate risks and capital will fly away from Bitcoin to land into Ethereum.

Even in the bull run, there are months that we could be in the negative, hence it is going down a bit, and it's the normal process. And we have to understand that no market in the world will be on continuous uptrend, even in stocks it's unusual for this to happen.

The thing with Bitcoin is that currently we are in the bull run cycle already, so we need more patience. Halving is done but we have to wait for it to take effect on the market. At least give it up to the end of the year, and maybe by that time we will see the price hitting around in the 6 figures already.

Bitcoin is not always in upward trend but whenever it experiences a deep decrease in price then in future its price gets more favorable for all of its investors. If it was always higher in worth then everyone will not be able to buy it therefore people often wait for the downtrend to buy some Bitcoin and other coins.

We have to buy Bitcoin before the hype therefore don't try to purchase if price starts to grow as higher price is not a good choice for buying. Wait is the only thing which can help you to attain that price for which you have invested in Bitcoin so don't try to minimize your patience.

Even we are in the bullish trend, we will see correction comes to the market. At that time, we can buy more and accumulating more Bitcoin. Bitcoin gives us a chance to buy more by the correction so we must use that moment for our own good. Yes, we must keep buying and collecting more Bitcoin, even if that amount is small because when we still do that, we will have many satoshis that we can sell and makes a big profit later.

But Bitcoin will not always be uptrend because there will be a time for Bitcoin to stay for a while in a current level of the price or down for a moment. But Bitcoin will increase back after it is enough to stay at that level.

Its all a matter of perspective!

If you bought Bitcoin prior to 2016 and HODL'd it to today there is nothing to complain
about but if you bought Bitcoin in the last number of weeks I can understand the frustration.

But something to realise and remember if you are not trading then you will have to
HODL for at least the "medium term".

Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend?

again perspective

Yes - over time, medium to long term
No - short to medium term

It depends on the timeframe that you are using to look at Bitcoin that will determination if Bitcoin is in an uptrend direction or going downwards. If you bought Bitcoin at the highest price in a bull market, Bitcoin will keep going downwards in your own eye but for an investors that bought when Bitcoin was having a correction and then the price starts recovering, Bitcoin will be going in an upward direction. If you buy and hodl Bitcoin, you will always be in an upward direction after some years because Bitcoin keeps adding value. The value of Bitcoin will keep adding price as there is more adoption for Bitcoin, the more popular Bitcoin is becoming we can only expect for there to be more investors and it will make the Bitcoin price to keep going upwards.

It becomes a normal thing because after all it is not forever bitcoin will continue to experience a significant increase even though fluctuations continue to occur but that does not mean bitcoin will continue to rise in a fast time significantly because in the end there are several conditions where we have to hold back and that is a normal thing because this does not happen once or twice.

The problem for now is that many people think that halving will make bitcoin development skyrocket and bitcoin will rise significantly with a fast time duration after halving even though the conditions are actually not like that because after all, being in bitcoin is not an instant thing because we must be prepared to wait and hold every bitcoin we have in our current portfolio.

Don't mess around too much because what we need is to enjoy the time now in holding in the midst of bitcoin conditions that are tempting to sell because the price is much better than 2 years ago so our resilience and hodling power are needed now because after all when we try to sell bitcoin now then we must be prepared to lose considering that bitcoin that is released is sometimes difficult for us to get back.

I don't think it can be seen from the MECHANISM as you say, because it is quite strange and how can people who buy at the top will assume that bitcoin will always go down? talking about the trend we will see movements based on time periods, annual, monthly, weekly and daily, we can see that the bitcoin trend will be like what, whether bullish, bearish or sideways, it can be concluded.

To see the trend we need to look at past data and the potential that may arise in the future, such as in the annual and monthly trends we are in a bullish position, and our weekly trend position is in a sideways trend, so the trend can be seen, including in the bitcoin cycle it is an indicator to see a trend, not to look at when you buy.

Your advice to potential investors is worth considering: buying Bitcoin now can't be a good opportunity, but it's important to take a long-term view and be prepared for potential price corrections. Holding Bitcoin for the long term can help mitigate short-term market fluctuations.

Most potential investors are afraid of sudden price fluctuations as it makes them feel bad if they have bought Bitcoin at a price and then the price drops significantly from that point, even though they got some Bitcoin, they could get more if they had waited a bit more, but then again, as they say, no one can time the market perfectly, so one should make an entry whenever they feel the time is right because if you keep waiting for the right time, it would never come.

Exactly, there’s no way bitcoin with a volatile nature will keep making an uptrend nor downtrend. Instead, expect that its price will become more unpredictable knowing it could go up at the moment but then go down the next minute we see it. That’s how volatility affects the certainty of bitcoin price. However, we can also look at it in a positive way. With bitcoin’s volatility, we can see an instant uptrend that is beyond our expectations, and could sometime reach its new ATH when we think this is not the best time yet. That’s how amazing bitcoin is.

Yes, sometimes it looks bad and not really idea to purchase bitcoin, but that's when it looks like it is going to be something that we can benefit from. If you do that then you are going to end up with a greater return, it should definitely be something we could benefit from without a doubt. I get that it may not be all that great when you give it sometime, but we should definitely consider that possibility.

I personally believe that the best way to make money from bitcoin would be buying no matter what the price is, and not selling unless it's medical emergency. That's how you get rich, just buy, if it's 10k buy it, if it's 100k still buy it, keep buying it and do that for 10+ years, eventually you will be very wealthy.

I don't know about bitcoin when it is first traded on market, but i saw the price history of it when i search it on google and i was surprised because its price is very low on year 2009 it is a cents and now it is thousand of dollar, we can see its price in different status, but it is pointing only up high if we put basis on the year when its first traded on the market till today so even if it is not always uptrend sometimes it is bear season but it always bounce back with more higher.

This is a slow method to become rich and that is why almost no one wants to engage on it, as you need to be constant for years in order to see the effects of buying whenever you have some cash available.

And taking into account that the people of the current generation are so used to getting anything they want almost instantaneously, then it is easy to guess why they do not like a strategy like this, and instead prefer to take their chances with meme coins which promise them the fast results they are looking for.

There will be changes in the market for investors to make use of them positively, because they are very important to investors to purchase Bitcoin during the bearish season and sell when the bullish season appear, which are two things you will be experiencing from Bitcoin as a holders which are bullish season and bearish season.Once the price of Bitcoin is increasing at the moment, you don't need to join other holders to rush to release your Bitcoin because if you exercise patience at the moment for the price to increase more, you will going to make huge amount of income than those that will sold in an hurry. For you to succeed in the uptrend and downtrend you need to prepare well financially and mentally, because once you have the funds in your account when waiting for downtrend, then you can apply wisdom to know the type of coin to purchase and hold for uptrend to appear before you can achieve income.

Since the launch of a bitcoin exchange-traded fund earlier this year, bitcoin has recovered and even surpassed its all-time highs set during the 2021 bull run. But for weeks, it looked like the largest cryptocurrency was trading sideways at best.
In the first traded on market, Bitcoin price is very low and no one realizes that Bitcoin can reach its all-time highs. We already seen the new ATH for temporary and I believe that we will see the next new ATH for Bitcoin. The price now rise from the low price yesterday and that could be the price will still go up. The trend still go up although we will see many corrections happens so you must be careful if you want to trade Bitcoin pair stable coins. Bitcoin trend looks sideways but that's just temporary to gain more power to lift the price up. You can prepare your target price to sell so you don't be late to sell your Bitcoin and takes your profits.

I now trade Bitcoin 3 to 4 times a week and it is profitable for me
Whoa, nice to read that! I've always said that it is the smartest traders/investors who will earn more in Bitcoin. It is not always about how you know to HODL it or trade it for some sort of long-term system, but the best way you can be smart about it is to maximise your profit, and you may be making multiples of the income that those who are HODLing it are making. You can imagine what those investors who always buy Bitcoin when it moves lower and liquidate it when it shows a serious sign of a retracement or reversal would gain? For them, they would have made a huge amount of money because they would have completed many trades by now even as those who HODLs would have gained a little depending on where they struck the market. That is the spirit and I know this early enough due to my vast trading and investment experience. However, it is good for anyone trying to practice this to sharpen their analytical skills and make sure that their speculations have a very high degree of accuracy.

Well base on history Bitcoin has been increasing in value gradually in the past years despite the dip in those years Bitcoin kept on increasing and at that time it hasn't gain more adoption as now. And we believe has time goes Bitcoin will continue to gain more adoption, and there's still chances for the price to keep increasing. That's why we always advice most to have some good portion of bitcoin they are holding in their portfolio, than having other shitcoins.

And now we all expecting a new ATH which may occur from the range of this year to 2025 due to halving that took place months back , and I believe once Bitcoin began to surge in price to that new ATH, there will be no stopping it . That's why I still have this feeling of Bitcoin surging above the predicted price which is $100k , but we can't actually tell but still Bitcoin going to do what it's does the most , which is putting smiles on Those who Invested in it.

Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend?
Speculationally no, Bitcoin plays in the crypto market, digital online, price ups and downs definitely exist and happen, but don't ask when it happens.....!

It seems 'yes' it is true that the current Bitcoin price is still at the highest level, but it is possible that the Bitcoin price could plummet and fall to the lowest level. In general, once the halving occurs, the Bitcoin price will change, If I speculate that the decline will happen again it will take a long time, it could be a year or two now from now, that's just my speculation, the point is that the market has its ups and downs.

To answer the question in the OP "Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend?":
It's not guaranteed in any way.
On one hand, if we assume than the demand will at least stay on a constant level, then yes, we should expect a long-term uptrend due to:
- decreasing block rewards
- bitcoins lost forever
- USD inflation

But the demand is not guaranteed and could go down for various reasons, i.e. people get bored and will move to other types of investments, BTC get's overregulated or co-opted to the point it's no longer decentralised and censorship-free and loses its purpose etc.

As time goes the price of Bitcoin is getting more successful and more higher but this all is due to the higher demand which increases as nors people become aware of its success. At the time of its origin nobody was familiar with the reality that it will become so worthy in future that people will utilise it as a source of investment.

Sometimes the price goes so lower like that was in previous years when it was below 26k$ but people take advantage of such a huge dip by buying it at a lower cost, only ignorant people become afraid of dump while all others know better that the pump will possibly occurs after this dump.

You find it properly detail the content of the OP in a way that it would align with the title you’ve chosen for your thread but, after I saw your immediate comment on having bought 2 BTC, I got the idea that could have warrant your curiosity.

I bought 2 bitcoins this morning and it is trending up.
2 BTC is a lot and always seems unbelievable coming from just anyone but, everyone on the forum can’t be just anyone, you could be someone that indeed could afford even more but, it always seems a lot believable when you post a TRX ID to support. Although it ain’t entirely necessary but, it’s something that the rest of the users here like to see, especially when it’s coming from a newbie.

If your trying to have clarity and self satisfaction if Bitcoin is going to dump someday not to rise again, the I don’t see that having to happen. Neither is it always going to remain on an uptrend. If fact, in the event that Bitcoin only goes up, that’ll be a sign take profit in investment and get out. That’s what I would do but, the volatile nature of Bitcoin is what assures everyone the safety of their investments. You just need to know a lot more and believe in the choices you’ve made on your investment.

To answer the question in the OP "Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend?":
It's not guaranteed in any way.

But there's high probability it will. There's no guarantees you will wake up tomorrow, or that there will not be a world war, but we operate on probability.
Since fiat money is constantly being printed and undergoes high inflation, while bitcoin's inflation is already low and will continue to drop, we can safely assume that bitcoin will go up in price against fiat money, so it will go up forever.

But the demand is not guaranteed and could go down for various reasons, i.e. people get bored and will move to other types of investments,

People don't go into other investments because they're bored with the current ones. If the investment keeps being profitable you need to find something more profitable to move. Boredom has nothing to it.

We do know the potential of Bitcoin but we shouldn't really be that removing into our minds about the risks involved on investing on crypto even if we do speak about Bitcoin. The key on here is that you
you do only invest on the amount that you can afford to lose, never ever make yourself having that all in kind of investment because you are really that too bullish or something. Im not saying its bad but alwasy having that control and considerations because we do know that when it comes to this investment in crypto world which there would really be no guarantees. Bitcoin would be always that in uptrend? We do know that there are two market conditions on which bear and bull. So you would really be needing to be wise on making up decisions when it comes to entry and exits.

Be wise on the decisions you are making because one false move then you do end up on negative on which it would be causing up for you to hold up even more longer
which it would really be something that would really be testing out your patience.

Bitcoin will never show a consistent uptrend, one thing that people should not expect from bitcoin. Instead, let’s see bitcoin having its own ups and downs, but never it will disappoint us as it will always recover from its low value and surge high again until we see a stable price again. That’s how bitcoin moves in the market, unpredictable yet productive and profitable in the end.

Bitcoin has clearly its own flaws in the market, simply because of its volatile nature. One who cannot sustain its volatility that makes price unpredictable, might leave bitcoin and resort into other investments. But one thing I’ve noticed, those who leave and fail on their supposed to be profitable investment are finding its way back to invest again in bitcoin, something that bitcoin makes it more unique that people keep coming back to invest in it despite of its flaws and imperfections.

With all of the factors that you've mentioned, they're all benefactors for the demand. You forgot to mention another one which is about the Bitcoin spot ETFs, they'd surely be bumping the value of Bitcoin over time. And, it's not boredom when people are moving their assets to one another. For example, those that have made profit from BTC, they are going to move somewhere else because they're done with it but they're not bored. Anyway, even if people moves their money here and there, they'll still coming back to BTC at certain points of their lives.

Certainly, no. Bitcoin has never shown the market a consistent price increase ever since it exists. Although there could be a slight progress with its price within a week or two, but talking about months or years, that won’t be possible with bitcoin.

And as much as people have learned to embrace and love its volatility, seeing bitcoin pumping and dumping its price every now and then is never new to us. In fact, people would love to see bitcoin becoming more volatile, because that only give chances for us to get rich in an instant if we chose to accumulate and hold higher volume of bitcoin for the long term.

Even after the sideways action it remains in an uptrend with the macro time frame.  What seems to be true is the most sure way to judge BTC is on the largest time frames which is an eternal surprise that its so often the case, short term we move in bursts but the proper momentum comes from the macro long term moves.   So yes BTC remains in an uptrend but its idling in near and medium term also.

So when we want to see the movement of bitcoin, don't look at the daily movement or even the hour it will look very annoying and will conclude that bitcoin is experiencing a long and boring sideway because it only roams in the $60k-$70k area, right we need to look at the macro of how bitcoi gets great attention and moves well and normally for bitcoin, look at the weekly and monthly charts it is very good in my opinion.

Sometimes in the course of investing someone loses himself and someone feels that his money is not growing even though he sees that for one month, bitcoin has no significant movement, but he does not imagine if he looks at the last two years, bitcoin has increased more than 150% and that is enough for an investment that is not too long, impatience will lead to losses, he must learn to invest better in order to appreciate time and see how the macro bitcoin is broadly from his perspective.

Just like any other financial asset, there is no guarantee that bitcoin will always be on an uptrend. Although I am sure that bitcoin will continue to grow and its value will always increase, bitcoin is still an asset that has high market fluctuations. Many factors can affect the price of bitcoin, although it has long-term strength but its stability also needs to be considered. There are times when bitcoin goes up and there are times when bitcoin goes down, so you have to be more careful in using it.

true, and this even happened when the halving started. according to my observations in recent times the price of bitcoin has been stable between $65k-$70k, and no one knows when this situation will end. After this situation ends there are two possibilities that will occur, namely the first possibility is bullish and the second possibility is bearish. Therefore for now don't be careless in selling or buying.

Some predictions say bitcoin is very likely to break $100k by the end of 2024, so what's the point of selling now?
If you are a long-term investor, what you need to do now is accumulate. Current market conditions tend to give you the opportunity to buy more, but make sure you have a backup plan if the market falls further.

Buying more and often is now recommended rather than selling, but of course don't do it all greedily. You should have a good investment strategy while considering a backup plan, this is good for expecting returns in the long run.

No one can guarantee that the price of Bitcoin will always be in an upward trend. However, at least throughout this year the potential for Bitcoin to be in an upward trend is very large because the market is in a bullish phase.

Despite the prediction concluded by the CEO of Binance, I think in the near future the price will still find it difficult to find $70k as its strongest support. Sideway may still last until the end of June and the price will be below $70k. I'm not against bullish predictions in the near future, but it's hard to get bitcoin prices above $70k when market sentiment still negative.

I can't say the upward trend is still ongoing now when the price is below the ATH. There are many bullish predictions regarding the current price of bitcoin, but in reality the price has shown a sideway trend. An upward trend can still be expected this year even though we never know what will happen, but still think positive and hold.

It is unlikely that Bitcoin will always be in an upward trend. More precisely, the word “always” is so big that we cannot even imagine how Bitcoin will behave, for example, in 50 years. Can anyone imagine this? In addition, it is obvious to me that the technology that underlies Bitcoin will sooner or later become obsolete. Even now we can already see this. Transaction fees are gradually increasing and native Bitcoin is no longer used by such a large number of people. Most likely, all users will use some kind of surrogate form of Bitcoin. Perhaps these will be lightning payments, perhaps these will be side-bitcoins like Liquid or Sovryn.

Long term? I do believe so. The real problem is that during period like these, when price isn't at the peak, people react too badly and that should not be the case if you ask me. People should realize that it is not that easy to handle and we should probably see it change a bit. I am not saying that we are going to end up with a high price right away, but it's never smart to sell.

Even if the price drops, buy more instead of selling so that you would do better, it would definitely help you a lot. I personally try to get as much as I can whenever I can, these days I can't get much, but for the past few years whenever I had some money, I bought some and I have profited from it as well. So, smart thing would be looking at long term.

This is why having a CEO that is bullish towards Bitcoin makes more sense when your business is focused on cryptocurrency. The previous CEO will always make statement that will give hope to the minds of traders because he love the market and the current CEO, making statement like this is very bullish too. He is trying to make news of him saying this to spread and it can give the market some uplift and I believe his prediction, I think the market is ready for another leg up and after the dip we could see the market rising up and it can pass $80,000. I do not understand why the market is falling this much as we are already out of the bear market but I see the opportunity to buy more Bitcoin and I will not be missing it.

You can't blame them, it's just normal reaction for investors and they might be newbies to be on the negative and thinking of not putting money because they are afraid of what they see on the market. On the contrary, experience and smart investors, knows a thing or two and they will take advantage of the prevailing market conditions and then be on the lookout to buy cheap BTC. It's no secret that this is the best strategy, for average investors and then for big whales. So there's nothing to be afraid of if the prices is taking a nose dive. You just have to react and go with the flow.

And that's what I'm trying to say, DCA is our friend or maybe if you just have a big money, then buy in bulk and hold for long term. Of course I have been holding for years as well and have paper profit. But I'm looking for long term, 2025 for me is the best time to sell, I just have to time the market or at least when the price is above $100k, sure fire big profits not just for me, but for everyone who might have been holding longer than me.

Well it does feel to me like price of Bitcoin is going sideways right now. We are at this price that is below 70k for some time now.
Binance CEO Richard Teng is 'bullish' for price of Bitcoin. He does think we will break out from the 60k and see gains of higher than 80k.
https://dailyhodl.com/2024/06/17/much-higher-than-80000-binance-ceo-reveals-bull-market-predictions-says-2025-to-be-even-better-for-crypto/

...., I think the market is ready for another leg up and after the dip we could see the market rising up and it can pass $80,000. I do not understand why the market is falling this much as we are already out of the bear market but I see the opportunity to buy more Bitcoin and I will not be missing it.

In a bear market there will always be rallies and similarly, in a bull market there will always be significant corrections. You can't expect that when we enter a bull market that the market just goes up vertically and everyone benefits.  To me, these corrections are necessary and a good thing, we will eliminate the weak hands and the price reduction is for the market to gain momentum to prepare for a stronger increase. You should remember that great rewards are only given to the most deserving people.

By the way, this is just one of many corrections in the bull market, you should not be surprised or panic if we face other corrections in the future before the bull season reaches its peak.

Bitcoin will always be in an uptrend, that's why work hard, save as much as you can and buy Bitcoin using DCA strategy. Many people need to handle the stress in their jobs and worrying if their investment will success or not, but if you invest in Bitcoin, you don't have to stress anymore since you're believing in long term.

Companies can bankrupt which make the stock price worthless, precious metal is not a way to make money, real estate require a lot money, while Bitcoin don't require a lot money and can give higher return.

And if observed from bitcoin investors they will see when the decline occurs say as something bullish not just to convince the holders or traders but indeed people who understand bitcoin when seeing the decline is a momentum to buy again and again.

So it is indirectly bullish to buy when the decline, that's what I can get from investors who say bullish when the decline, which means bullish to buy.

But sometimes people are misguided, saying that so that they become liquidation material for others because they buy during a decline, it is actually the right time to buy.

Experienced people would really be having that kind of approach on which they would really be that optimistic into their bags on which it would really be just that a normal approach to have.
Telling people that they should be buying now which it isnt wrong because they've been here on this crypto space for long then they do already have the idea about the movement.
Somehow we cant really just that anytime believe on what they are saying but rather we should really be still applying our own analysis based up with our experience but somewhat
it wont really be that bad on reading up others experiences and suggestions too but when it comes on making up decisions then you should really be that sensible on whats
that realistic and whats that delusional. You would really be able to find for yourself on which one is viable and ideal.

true, and this even happened when the halving started. according to my observations in recent times the price of bitcoin has been stable between $65k-$70k, and no one knows when this situation will end. After this situation ends there are two possibilities that will occur, namely the first possibility is bullish and the second possibility is bearish. Therefore for now don't be careless in selling or buying.
Possibility or no possibility the reality remains that each circle we are to experience a bull run after a halving which will them followed by a bearish market which is usually a full period in the market for investors however, it always create an opportunity for investors who are patient enough to start buying using the DCA strategy in preparation towards another bullrun.  Just had to make it clear that because a halving has  happened doesn't mean bitcoin price wouldn't dip anymore within that period but however it dips it's always recover for a bull run.

Having a CEO that is a crypto lover is good for any business really, because it allows companies to make money however they can on it. It doesn't matter if you are a crypto company, or you are just a furniture company, if your investments stay at bitcoin and bitcoin goes up, you can get richer with it and grow your business bigger, and when you grow bigger you make more money and invest more into crypto and keep that cycle going.

I do not know much why it is down right now neither, but I am not worried about it at all, I find that to be normal and nothing big and I believe that we are going to end up with a greater return without a doubt. It may take a while, but it is going to end up being 80k and even 100k and even more than that eventually.

It may take a while, but it is going to end up being 80k and even 100k and even more than that eventually.

If you want to take a CEO as an example, Michael J. Saylor would be more suitable than Richard Teng. The CEO of a leading centralized exchange bullish on bitcoin is neither surprising nor admirable. But a CEO of another industry investing and being bullish on bitcoin is notable and sounds more appealing.

But investing in bitcoin will not guarantee us becoming rich or our business becoming more developed. We need to evaluate the current situation as well as the business's budget and balance the use of capital for investment and business. They should not be lumped together because the high volatility of bitcoin will sometimes cause our business to suffer if the budget is used incorrectly.

No one wants bitcoin to fall because it reduces our profits, but we also know that bitcoin moves in a parabolic pattern, so we don't need to panic. Instead, we should take advantage of this moment to accumulate more bitcoins if we have any money left, otherwise sit tight and everything will return to normal soon. Bitcoin reaching $80k or $100k is just a matter of time.

Agree with you. Of course, it would be good for a correction to occur before the bull market occurs. This will provide a strong impetus to move higher and this usually always happens, and we hope that, Because currently, the wait for the bull market is clearly still quite long, and it is very possible that something unexpected will happen, and we hope that there will be a correction, but whatever happens will not give up the opportunity in time that there will be a fairly high increase in time in 2025.
Waiting and buying and holding is what needs to be done now before it happens later.

Always is the wrong word because inevitably every absolute rule is tested.   I would say already always is incorrect because BTC did stay below the 200 week average for some time and that is the bottom line for most people.

BTC did fail to keep an uptrend even on the longest term view that is a reasonable view to take.  Certainly shorter term BTC often has harsh pull-backs and does lose its bullish element for months often enough its wrong to presume it cannot happen now or ever.

After a boom, a fall is inevitable. Saying that Bitcoin will always go up and never go down can be nothing more than a false thought and wishful thinking. Know that even the crypto market cannot be stable, no coin can ever stay up forever, whatever coin goes up, it also goes down, even if it is Bitcoin, yes it can be said that the market, after going down, goes up again and if one trades it is because they have a good opportunity to buy their favorite coins and profit.

People who are new to the market panic when the market goes into such a condition and in that panic, many people get unprofitable and sell their coins at a loss because they are new to the market. If you have never seen such a situation before, don't worry, it's a part of the crypto market, and experience is gained by working so my advice to those who are new in the market is that they should not trade large amounts but trade small amounts with good coins so that they get experience while in the market.

This is the way to go and yet a lot of people never understand how the market works. I have to say, it is quite clear to me that if we are not careful with what we are doing, then we are going to end up with a lot of mistakes and that is why it is quite terrible to not see how it all works. If you "know" how the market works, then you will be happy when it goes up and you will be happy when it goes down.

You are happy when it goes up because obviously you made a profit and everyone is happy at that point aside from people who regret selling and not holding. You get happy when it gets lower because you find a good entry again which will go up eventually so you are happy that you are capable of buying a cheaper bitcoin than a month from now.
