Amount Scammed: 50€
Payment Method: Amazon Gift Card
PM/Chat Logs: I won't bother posting the screenshots, it's been like 3 weeks since he replied so I have no hope in having the money back, I may post the messages eventually if that's really necessary
Additional Notes: This won't do much, this is just a warning to not deal with this guy

Edit: Trust Flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3311

There is no evidence that you paid the user. Or is there any post that he posted his bitcoin address that you sent the bitcoin to? If there is any, let us know the address. If you have the message of it, screenshot it and upload the image on this thread. I mean message of it on this forum and not elsewhere.

But I will leave a neutral feedback for now. If you have evidence, I will change it to negative trust.

Do not trust newbie accounts because there are many of them that are only here to scam. Or just use an escrow next time.

OP paid Etshy with Amazon Gift Card, I am not familiar with this payment method but I think it will be difficult to prove that the payment was really made

I'll just post the screen of the message where I sent him the code, the rest of the conversation it's just me talking to no one because he never replied me after that. https://i.imgur.com/n7lGwGw.png
Yeah I know I was dumb but fortunately I tried with a small amount, this thread is mostly to warn other users to not deal with him.

Sad that you had to learn the hard way. If you ever want not to lose any money on the internet in this fashion. Do not just trust anyone who has nothing to lose. The person you trusted had a low ranking account that he can easily abandon.

He has several past scam accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3157528.0). I don't know why you had to trust him without using an escrow service

Please, OP, can you create a type 3 flag against the profile? I will help you support it.

Also tagged.

This user has always been sketchy, he was selling scammed/stolen physical gift cards for awhile, moving on to full scamming was only a matter of time.

anonimogmr, created a type 3 trust flag. However, due to insufficient support from DT members, it is not yet active. Please, members support the flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3311

@anonimogmr you might want to add the trust flag in the OP.

Added trust flag in OP. Yeah I know it was dumb but I was just looking for a quick deal, and since he is an old member I trusted him. I usually don't do this type of deals, guess I should have sticked to that rule.

That's really low, to be doing this kind of thing for 50 Euros isn't that surprising but at the same time surprising that they're still doing it for that much amount, I guess when you're so desperate about making money, you will take all the opportunity that you can get lest you want those opportunity to slither away. I'll support the flag to hopefully make sure that warnings will be more credible at the least. I'm not blaming you for what lead you to this OP, I'd probably make the same mistake as you if this happens to me and I'm in the same situation.
