Firstly bitcoin isn't a gold coin because gold coin are physical tendered assets which the governments regulates while bitcoin remains digital asset and decentralized.
I actually heard about bitcoin around 2010 but just as many suspected to be unrealistic so I did too. The only mistake I did was to doubt the realistic of the coin because if I did is would had accumulated much huge values of bitcoin than the late time I realized the reality value and potentials of bitcoin and if I am to go back to make correction about bitcoin then I'd adoptor when it was first introduced with $0.00.
Any my advice to newbies is that they should believe that bitcoin is a reality to store values and there had been introduced lot of crypto currencies with the aim of the developers to scam adoptors so, be careful while investing on other cryptocurrencies aside bitcoin.
Talking about the future of bitcoin in 50 years time is undeterminable but it's sure that bitcoin would become more dominance and value as times goes by til then.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I got to know about Bitcoin in about 2013 and it was through some online engagement but notably through one of my FX brokers. Notwithstanding, I never gave it any attention until years later when I was using it as a deposit and withdrawal means but never invested in it until I joined Bitcointalk.

Quote
2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
With Bitcoin? I've never made such a mistake I would call silly because even though I missed the opportunity to invest in it, I was investing in other sectors. So, no serious hurt feelings.

Quote
3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
I would definitely start investing when Bitcoin was still less than $0.5, and by now, I would be a billionaire. ;)

Quote
4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
I started investing in Bitcoin in 2022 and I also started trading it actively ever since then. But I can't say I can still point to any favourite time yet other than my overall experience with Bitcoin which is positive.

Quote
5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Don't be surprised if my view is different from others. For me, though I see Bitcoin going positive, I don't see it as insanely high in 50 years as many take it. If Bitcoin can always be moving higher and higher to the point of hitting $250k, $500k, and $1m nonstop, what do we call that? I call it an embarrassment, an inflationary asset that needs urgent attention. The economy doesn't work as many people take it with their layman's understanding, they just want the money.

Also, the fact that Bitcoin is in the mainstream in the financial market will make it better behaved than before and will disappoint many expectations.

I don't think that I have stayed long enough in this Bitcoin space to have assumed that I have a lot of story in my past to share here but let's just delve into this and share our little experience.
Let's learn and laugh together guys, share with us the following about your experience with the golden coin Bitcoin:

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I have known about Bitcoin and crypto for a while now and to be precise I think it's been up to five years since I have known about Bitcoin but the truth is that it's just been mere knowledge and nothing more. My knowledge about it was just narrowed down to knowing that Bitcoin exist and that was it. what was even more popular was more of crypto than Bitcoin. It's now that I'm fully in the system that I now know what's bitcoin as well as what's crypto.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
I guess part of the main mistake should be that s spent too much time trying to learn everything before ever getting started. You can always start getting involved as a bitcoinner before everything there's to know about Bitcoin. Just get the basic and start off your journey and the rest of the knowledge will come as you proceed along the way. Kudos to this forum that made things way easier than it should have been.
3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
I guess this is almost same as the second question, If I was to go back in time, i would just start applying the knowledge i already had without waiting to get everything all figured out. The best way to learn is to learn while Doing.
4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
still anticipating the much talked about post having bull! I guess it's going to serve as a serious motivation that will help me to better prepare and stack up some good amount of Bitcoin before the end of this circle.
5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Bitcoin hasn't actively stayed up to 20 years since it gained it value and to make a 50 year projection from now isn't worth it. We can't even tell what will become of the world in the next 50 years.

No 1, I knew about Bitcoin during the time of MMM, though initially I thought it was one of this Ponzi scheme,  so I never gave it a chance of me engaging in it.

No 2. On the part of number two, I never gave it a chance, I never engaged in it, so I think that was my greatest failing, so my advice to newbies is, they should take Bitcoin investment very serious, because the earlier they start building their Bitcoin portfolio the better.

No 3. on the part of number three, if I could turn back the hands of time, I would have engaged in Bitcoin investment earlier, by now, I would have been part of the early Bitcoin millionaires.

No 4. my best time with Bitcoin, I think it's this year.

No 5. I believe that Bitcoin has the ability of going up to 5 million dollars in fifty years time from now, that's why it's very important to me to accumulate as much Bitcoin as possible now, since it's very cheap now, because in the nearest future, I will just be looking back in happiness that i made the right decision now.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?

Around 2015 and 2016 I guess, the price was literally around $340  for 1 BTC as of that time, bought about 0.5 fraction of it for about N25,000 via p2p if I could remember correctly and dump everything into Ponzi scheme. Lol

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?

Don't be greedy, hold your Bitcoin jealously and do not invest in ponzi scheme as I did.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?

Still far from reality......

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
First, knowing about Bitcoin and getting involved into Bitcoin are two separate sittings, I knew about Bitcoin about 3 or 4yrs ago which clearly the internet and some physical interactions with a few friends within were the medium at which I get to know about it, but when we talk about getting involved with my funds by investing it was just at the pick of joining the forum but meanwhile I already had bad experience with a few Altcoins which shifted my center of attention to Bitcoin.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Make Bitcoin your priority investment other than any Cryptocurrencies, many has lost too much of their funds into different shitcoins that claimed to be potentially brilliant like Bitcoin.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
Get a better fraction of Bitcoin when the price was below $20k value in price.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
With the level of adoption, we expect to see a better reality compared to what we have now, by then every satoshi which is completely worthless will become very useful.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
Whenever i remember it i feel so bad that i didn’t give bitcoin attention back then. It was around 2017 or 2018 i am not so sure what year exactly, but around that time i was still in school that a friend of mine told me about bitcoin, that was my first time of hearing about it but when he told me it was an online thing i lost interest immediately, it was all because of the popular Ponzi scheme (MMM) that scammed a lot of Nigerians around 2016 that i didn’t give it a chance back then, i thought it was another ponzi project that was launched.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Bitcoin is a very powerful project and to think of what it has accomplished in a few years I can’t imagine how powerful it will become in 50 years.

Talking about it’s worth, in 50 years i thinks we are likely to see it go up in price above million dollars.

While Adoption and acceptance, i think a lot of countries if not all would have fully embraced it’s use and  increasing it’s adoption rate massively.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
My first year in the University was when i new about Bitcoin. After i heard some group of boys talking about it and how they want to get some.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Yes of course as a newbie i made so many mistakes. I can remember sending some of my BTC to an unknown address. Also at the earlier stage i bought 20$ of BTC as a student during the dip which i do not know how it happens back then i lost all my 20$ of BTC thinking someone had jacked my account when it was obvious that the price went to 0$.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
I would have wished that i joined the Bitcoin community earlier. By now my knowledge and level i would have reach would have been massive. However i do not regret i didn't as there is always a good reason for everything that happens. I still give thanks to God.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
It was December last year when the Bitcoin started gaining its price. This was my first successful investment and it was a dip then but when the price started going high i was happy because it was my first profit i had made.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
In 50 years Bitcoin would be 50x better than it is today. It is uncertain to know what will be the actual price but i a certain that the price will worth more in the coming years. If we invest now then we are sure to have good profit in 5 decades from now. Its a lot of time to for Bitcoin to reach 1 million dollars for 1.

1 i came to know about Bitcoin I think around 2016-2017, I read about it on social media and I heard some friends always discussing about it.

2 I bought some Bitcoin as at then, but it didn't take much time before I sold it, I guess I didn't know how much of value it was then, if I had known, I wouldn't have sold it.

3 going back in time, I would have accumulated more bitcoin, built my knowledge on the things i didn't know about bitcoin as at then.

4 2019 when I began to study and know about it much more.

5 in the next 50 years the value of bitcoin must have grown tremendously as the leading digital currency across the globe.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?

I think the third question best talks more on the topic which is self explanatory itself, if i can have the opportunity of turning back the hands of time with bitcoin, i would have invest and be among the whales who would have been holding to this time ever since inception, but to the greatest surprise of many of us now, we all get to know about bitcoin when the whole thing has already been a boom and worth a reasonable value before we heard about it.

First, I got into Bitcoin late around 2019, and secondly, I lost a huge amount of money on some forex investments years ago when I was not really too into Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. If I could go back in time, I would have just invested in Bitcoin with that huge amount of money that I lost in my forex investment. If I had known that that was how that investment was going to end, and if I had also known about Bitcoin very well, then I would have just bought Bitcoin, deposited it in a self-custodial wallet, and stored the private key in a place I could not reach it for eight years. By now, I would have been a millionaire, but I made the mistake and lost the money.

My best time with Bitcoin was the last ATH of 2021, which made me realize the potential of Bitcoin. I believe that in the next 50 years, 1 Bitcoin will not be less than $500,000.

It was towards December period 2013 I heard about Bitcoin that was the period I got admission into the university most persons in school then was talking about it I didn't have any idea about it or how Bitcoin look like before I later heard about it early 2014

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?

Yes the silly mistake I made then was not investing into Bitcoin because I first thought it was one of this Ponzi scheme of a thing I never wanted to invest then because I have lost lots of money concerning online investment then because I don't really know what Bitcoin was all about I never knew how potential it was.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
Now that I have know more about Bitcoin how potential it is I would have stack and accumulate more Bitcoin using the DCA strategy and hodl for a longer period of time for Bitcoin is more profitable in future.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
It was 2022 I started having more knowledge about Bitcoin investment since I have heard about it for long I thought it will just come and go just like other Ponzi scheme then, so when I got how legit and reliable Bitcoin was I started my Bitcoin investment journey.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
I believe by then  Bitcoin will hit great ATH, more people will want to invest into Bitcoin.

If I were to start again with Bitcoin, I wouldn't be greedy with my gains and would sell when I felt I'd made enough profit. I'd learn to enter the market early during the bear phase and keep my profits in USDT, not fiat, during the bull market. Timing is crucial—there's a time to invest in Bitcoin and a time for altcoins. No altcoin is worth holding through a bear market, so I'd sell at any price once I knew the bull market was over. If I had another chance, I'd follow these strategies for better results.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I was introduced to bitcoin by a friend, and that was in 2022, Sapa been dey brush me then.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
I did not make any silly mistakes because I had guidance from the person who introduced me to bitcoins and I was able to ask him easy questions. The person did not just introduce me to bitcoin but he also introduced me to this forum where I was able to read and learn from other people's experience so that I can avoid making some silly mistakes, it has really helped.
Most people who have made silly mistakes in cryptocurrency investing in bitcoin are people who did not have any guidance, either from any individual or from this forum.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
The percentage of people who made mistakes in their bitcoin career is high and probably above 50%. As of today people still make mistakes even the experience and old investors. It will surprise you to know that a good number of people even those participating in this discussion do not have a bitcoin portfolio and are not doing DCA even with as little as $10 per week. If you sample opinion, you will see several reasons, some of which will be convincing. But I see it as lack of trust and confidence in bitcoin because even those that have fine reasons why they don't hold bitcoin have other areas they invest their money especially in physical assets. I don't have a problem with investing in physical assets, but as a bitcoiner or someone earning bitcoin, it is morally expected that you have some bitcoin you are holding no matter how little they are, this shows that you believe in bitcoin. So, I call this a mistake that I made in the past and I know some people are still making it now.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
If know what I know now and still given the opportunity to go back in time, I will save all my money in bitcoin including money I earn in fiat but not in budget for immediate use.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Just like every other lover of bitcoin, I expect bitcoin at $1m 50 years from now, the reason I am saving some of my funds in bitcoin in expectation of a better day ahead. Within my active years of service, if I can have some who numbers of bitcoin saved, I will know that upon retirement I will be a millionaire in dollar. This is my plan for the future.

Let's learn and laugh together guys, share with us the following about your experience with the golden coin Bitcoin:

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I got to know about bitcoin through my brother, who introduced me to the crypto world far back in 2016, but I lack the knowledge that we can easily invest in bitcoin and hold it for the long term since I have less experience with how blockchain works.

Quote
2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Yes, I made a mistake by not investing in bitcoin earlier when I knew about it due to lack of proper guidance. I will tell a newbie to start investing in bitcoin since the price is not that expensive yet. And he or she shouldn't invest his whole money in bitcoin so that he or she will not mess up his bitcoin accumulation journey.

Quote
3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
I will make sure I am holding enough bitcoin in my possession, and even though I am not accumulating bitcoin again, I will be okay with the one I have accumulated. I will also make sure all my family members invest in bitcoin. By now, everyone will have been thanking me for giving them the update that will change their lives.

Quote
5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Bitcoin will be fully adopted in the world, and no one or government will want to stop its citizens from using it because bitcoin will be seen as what will change the world for the better. In the next 50 years, bitcoin will be taught in schools so that people will have early knowledge about bitcoin and how it works.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?

I heard about Bitcoin in early 2019 but I didn't get to really know what it is all about not until December 20th 2024 that is exactly my forum registration date which a friend actually introduced me to and that was when and how my research about figuring out what Bitcoin is started.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?

The mistake made which am still not very much happy with myself is  refusing to have figured out or research about what exactly Bitcoin is as earlier as at 2019 when I heard about it which probably I must have known more than what I knew now about Bitcoin but nevertheless I wouldn't let my pass mistake take much of my time by seeing it as a lesson, what I will tell every newbies is to join the moving train (Bitcoin) by investing with as little as they can with dca strategy either weekly or monthly as it please them and how hold for as long as possibly 4 to 10 years of probably having the compounded value of their investment over time as Bitcoin has proven beyond every reasonable doubt to be and have a solid foundation.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?

I would have been able to have and  know more than what I have now.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?

With the love and commitment I have for Bitcoin every time is my best time.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?

It must have made several All time high as at 50 years with a more wider spread adoption far beyond expectations.

I got to know BTC through one of my brother that based in the city in 2020, and he explained everything to me about BTC and he spend some times in the village to ensure I got it before he return back to his residence state in Nigeria.

It was not a smooth journey at the beginning, because I was still finding something difficult to understand the way the price of BTC was dumping and the BTC in my wallet will be devaluing in my wallet, but one year later I became very perfect about BTC investment, and my brother was very happy that I got it right after the impact him impacted me.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Yes, the mistake I made in my BTC journey, I used to trade my BTC when the price just newly pump up in the market, thinking it will still go down immediately but the price will continue pumping higher after I have sold all my BTC, which was the mistake I made then, but right now, i don't rush to trade when the price of BTC just hit high in the market than to wait for the price to pump more before I can trade to take big  profits.

Buying Bitcoin with your school fees wouldn't have been a good idea considering that fact that Bitcoin investment is not a get rich quick scheme where you accumulate Bitcoin with your little amount and expect to get rich soonest, for you need to be readily prepare before investing so it will not affect your personal life and your Bitcoin investment journey, for you will need to set aside your discretionary income and your disposable income, with your emergency, reserve and float fund readily available so you won't sell out your Bitcoin hodling when emergency may occur. Also with your DCA method it will help accumulate more Bitcoin either weekly or monthly as the case may be.

I first came to know about Bitcoin in 2017 through TV news in my country. Basically I was not very curious about money related matters at that time because my family did not give me that right. I was passionate about studies and family wanted it.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?

To be honest, if I had the opportunity to study more about Bitcoin at that time, my financial situation could have been better. Even investing in my country's historical market system through fiat would not have wasted time and I would not have lost so much money.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?

Believe me - I always regret that if I had known about bitcoin forums earlier, my life could have been better. I might have a few bitcoin circles full.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?

I came to know about this forum through one of my friends towards the end of my student life and by then it was too late and I am now a jobber and a small bitcoin holder as well.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?

I mainly focus on depositing bitcoins following DCA method and want to fill at least one full circle. On a regular basis I continue to deposit a portion of my disposable income into Bitcoin each month through DCA management. I expect Bitcoin to cross its ATH shortly. I am more optimistic that it can touch $100k within this year. While it is difficult to predict what will happen to Bitcoin in the next 50 years, I can say that there may come a time in the future when people will have a lot of money but not be able to buy Bitcoin - either because of insufficiency or because holders will not sell. Most investors concentrate on holdings.

I got to know about Bitcoin in 2016 and joined this forum in 2017 if I can remember correctly and since then the only mistake I had made so far was to try to use Trust wallet at the instant to HoDL my coins. Well, I lost the phone in which my trust wallet was, I didn't know where I wrote the seed phrases and even though I tried to recover the or should I say download the trust wallet again, I lost the former along with the little coins I had in it.

I don't know what I would have done differently because I didn't know better until joining this forum and learning about the best practices to keep my wallet safe.
My best journey with Bitcoin has been receiving payments for jobs I have done in Bitcoin and then I trade and withdraw to another wallet or diversify to another coin to trade later or hodl till further notice.

Bitcoin in the next 50years is going to be a massive revelation in that there would be more adopters and more newcomers as well as it being used as a common means to facilitate payments upon completion of transaction and services rendered.

Let's learn and laugh together guys, share with us the following about your experience with the golden coin Bitcoin:

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I knew about bitcoin since 2014 but never took it seriously not until 2022 when I did my first transaction through trust wallet.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Yea I actually made mistake during transaction from roqque to trust wallet but not bitcoin actually rather TRX which was sent mistakenly from an intended network to another network. Uptill date I haven't received it.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
If I had the power to turn hands of time, I would have took bitcoin accumulation seriously by buying it in balk and stack.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
My favourite or best time with bitcoin was when I started to receive bitcoin from signature campaign in this forum.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Bitcoin is the future and the future start now. I believe by 50 years time people would be super rich through bitcoin. If only they can take accumulation process seriously without procrastination and self doubt of when to start buying. For now is the best time to buy and stack bitcoin .because the opportunity to buy bitcoin at affordable rate will be not be possible when bitcoin would have emerged to $1m or more.

The advice I have for the newbies is to always make judicious use of any given opportunity expecially bitcoin Investment. They should stop procrastinating because that is an element of backwardness out of laziness. Time is money so they should use their time well and also lean how to Focus because lack od focus is also a barrier to success.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I learnt about Bitcoin during those days there were restriction to FX in our country, so I had to ask questions on how to send money across borders. Bitcoin came through for me as I could send money with ease. Buying it was a little challenging though because it was mainly through agents, most of which were scammers. It was when Luno, NairaEX and Binance became popular that it was easier.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Each time I look at my wallet in those earlier days, I feel like crying because of the volume of Bitcoin that have passed through me yet I didn't hold. I was just buying and using to pay for subscription and other services abroad. Some of them were even invested in projects that turn out to be scam. My biggest regrets is not holding any of those Bitcoin. By now I would have been comfortable financially.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
if everything play back again, I will rather hold most of those Bitcoin that use them the way I did.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
My best time in Bitcoin is now because I am now holding Bitcoin as I have decided that I will never run out of Bitcoin again.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Bitcoin is the future of finance so the price and influence will be huge as time progresses and as we experience more Bitcoin halving, the scarcity will increase leading to higher prices.

Don't blame yourself for not accumulating bitcoin when you first heard about it in 2010. People hate what they don't understand. So many of us here failed to accumulate bitcoin the very first time we heard about it. If the person who bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins knew the price of bitcoin would be this high, he would have held his bitcoin for a long time without selling it for a penny. We have seen what bitcoin has done; we should make use of this opportunity and accumulate enough bitcoin for the long term so that we will not regret for not accumulating bitcoin now that the price is still low.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
Earlier those days when I start to dey hear about Bitcoin I been dey so much confused on how I go take start to dey buy Bitcoin. Although those early days I thought Bitcoin was basically for trading only so along the line I manage to join this forum and I can't remember how, so from there I learnt a lot from the forum that I knew Bitcoin is worldwide and you need to choose what you want to use Bitcoin for. From the forum I see many threads whey dey teach people better things about Bitcoin investment (like buy the dip and hold thread), so me self read the thread and I also learn many things from the thread, so now I done know say for person to achieve big as a bitcoiner him need to invest for long term.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
Omor the truth is that I have been scam (though it's pass tense) and I know history can not repeat it self.
Quote
3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
Well like I said early that I was scammed while I was trying to invest in Bitcoin. However what I would have done is to correct the mistakes that I ones did earlier the days I heard about Bitcoin that made me to get scammed.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
Besides I don't have any best time for now but I think I gladly say that my best time is every time.
Quote
5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Well, Bitcoin is a good store of value now and to my observations, nothing will ever change the worth Bitcoin have now, so if Bitcoin can be a good store of value now it means it will be more valuable in the next 50 years.

1-] Bitcoin is everywhere, as long as we are in a digital environment we can hear about crypto currency. However I heard about Bitcoin from internet and I was motivated to do Bitcoin because of that I heard about it and since I decided to join the crypto space I have no regrets about it.

2-] Although since I have had Bitcoin education from this forum there is no mistakes that I have made, everyday I make sure I cross check any transaction I would do before I continue (confirm) so that I won't end up doing anything that will result to a mistake.

3-] If it's possible to go back to the old days I would be happy but it's not possible to reverse the world, the reasons why I would be happy if thing goes back to the past is that I could be able to acquire more Bitcoin because 4 years ago Bitcoin was low, I will use the opportunity to buy enough Bitcoin and hold them till now.

4-] I didn't not regret my actions at all because everytime is the best. For a bitcoiner to buy Bitcoin, if we are waiting for any best time before we starts to buy Bitcoin we will wait and continue waiting , so now is the best.

5-] This is a very interesting question mate, 50 years from now we belief that Bitcoin will high more than how it is right now, so if 50 years is added to Bitcoin and in the life of a bitcoiner there will be a lot of achievements if we continue to invest.

Firstly, I use to hear about Bitcoin when I was under 15 then the value of Bitcoin wasn't this huge and back then I  don't actually know the worth not until I friend of mine who is into Bitcoin explain to me how it works and how he has been making profit that was 2018.

Yeah, I think a silly mistake I made was not investing when my friend to me about it cause the DCA method would helped and maybe I wouldn't have been where I am today but I still believe there's hope since there's life.

Omo if I go fit turn the hand of clock ehn, I go invest waiting no good for Bitcoin but it's impossible so, I will just have to keep on pushing and take advantage when it is necessary and I won't let that same mistake repeat again.

I think my favorite time with Bitcoin was ending of last year when I joined this great forum and one of the thread was like a question " what do you think will happen to Bitcoin", low and behold the price has gotten to new ATH this year.

I can't actually tell what will happen cause it's been created or invented  by human so anything is possible but with what am seeing now I think it will be much greater than it is right now and that is our hope.

Thank you for bringing this topic which I have learnt so much from the experience of others. It is interesting to see that we all have our various stories to tell about our journey in Bitcoin.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I have heard about Bitcoin for a very long time but I never paid attention until I joined a PGD program where I met a coursmate that happens to be my roommate. He was deeply into crypto trading and doing very well in it. That was how I developed interest in Bitcoin.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
It took me coming to this forum to learn about holding bitcoin and if I had learnt this part first, I would have held most of the money I spent in trading. I was told it was like my school fees to be able to learn and master the market. Assuming I held those without trading them, it would have been something reasonable now as the price of Bitcoin have risen significantly. I will advice my fellow newer members to concentrate more on holding for long term than looking for fast profit.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
Like I explained above, I would have held my bitcoin rather than trade them away. I will not regret though because without mistakes, one will not learn very fast.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
I think this is my first time experiencing bull run in Bitcoin so I will say my best time should be now because the small I have bought and doing pretty well.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
I am hoping that Bitcoin will do very well 50 years from now and those of us investing in it now would be made by then. I don't know what price to expect but it should be something very big.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Not so sure if my favourite time with bitcoin has really taken place, I shouldn't be in a rush to say anything for now till I witness what I wish to term my first bull run as an active hodler.

Anyone who have been in this space for some time now and have studied the past and present performances of the bitcoin market will have much reasons to be optimistic about bitcoin future in the next 5 decades ahead. For now we just keep hodling.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?

I got to know about Bitcoin in late 2016 when I was searching for information about TBC coin which was supposedly better than bitcoin. I had zero idea about both Bitcoin abd TBC at the time.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?

Aside from selling too early and not accumulating enough Bitcoin over the years, nothing beats it.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?

I would accumulate more Bitcoin and not sell the ones I had over the years. Should have been worth a sizeable amount now.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?

Best time was when mempool used to be almost empty and bitcoin was dirt cheap (sub $1k).

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?

I would definitely love to see more adoption for Bitcoin as well as technological improvements that that makes it lightening fast, seamless and extremely cheap to make transactions on the Bitcoin network.

1. It was my friend that told me about Bitcoin in the university 2018.

2. Yes I made a very big mistake when my friend told me about Bitcoin I refused to invest i told her Bitcoin has gone far already and that at that point it won't grow anymore so I invested on one shit coin for 3 years and I later lost everything.
I will advise my follow newbie to start and concentrate only on Bitcoin and choose a long term investment using DCA method.

3. If I was to go back in time, that 2018 my friend told me about Bitcoin i will invest on it and on a very long term investment using DCA method.
Till today I regret investing on that shit coin I was thinking Bitcoin won't grow again I thought it has reached his pic, if I invested on Bitcoin from that 2018 till date using DCA method I would have been successful in Bitcoin investment, I deeply regret not investing that 2018.

4. I just started Bitcoin investment last year, after what happened to me 3 years ago when I lost my money on shit coin I stopped anything cryptocurrency investment I just started Bitcoin investment last year with the help of my friend my best year in Bitcoin is yet to come.

5. In the next 50 years Bitcoin would have grown so big and those that will hold till then will be so successful.

I would rather answer the question which is there in the title of this post and the answer would be familiar with what others would answer which is I would have saved as many Bitcoin as possible instead of selling it for dirt cheap price which I had sold in the past. Everyone would say same answer because no one would have spent it has they known it would have made them billionaire.

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
Well it was the bull run of 2021 that brought me into cryptocurrency but I did not buy Bitcoin then. You know there was so much hype then and many people started investing in cryptocurrency. Some made big profit while some made big losses especially those who were unable to sell high.

2. Did you make any silly mistake? if yes, what was it and what will you tell a newbie?
I don't know if I can call it mistake but when I joined, I started with altcoins like BNB, ShIB and others because I was told the price of Bitcoin was too high that will make more money from altcoins. Well, I feel it is still a mistake because if I had bought only Bitcoin then, it would have been better for me because some of the coins I bought then are dead now and I lost heavily in those ones.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
This will be easy for me to put all my resources in Bitcoin. Assuming I kept buying Bitcoin from 2022 when the bear market finally started, it would have favoured me so much.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
I am yet to benefit much from Bitcoin as most of my Bitcoin are still held and not sold because I believe the future is looking promising for Bitcoin In that case, I believe that the best time for Bitcoin is still in the future, maybe when I will cash out some of my Bitcoin and really enjoy the money.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
My expectation is that Bitcoin will get to over $100,000 in the shortest possible time and after that target should be $500,000 before we see price go as high as $1,000,000. We don't know if this will happen with 50 years from today but we just keep expecting and see what the future have to offer.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
If am given the opportunity to go back in time I would have started my Bitcoin investment them and by now I would have  acquired as much Bitcoin in my portfolio

Na when I Dey school I first hear about bitcoin, I sabi people wey Dey trade that time, but no be say na big money him Dey use trade, I just Dey observe the guy that time, before me self come go Dey do reason come Dey learn myself. E no funny that time because I lose plenty money, most of the money wey dem Dey give me as I Dey school, na trading I Dey waste am on top. D one wey pin me pass be say, Dey get one break wey I go, as I reach house dem give me money for house rent for school, I but the money for trading, I lose all and na fear cause am. As I lose the money I went on break, I no trade again because I need to gather my house rent, as i pay house rent finish wey I balance I come go back to trading again.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
Seriously I would have invested in bitcoin earlier than when I started investing in it, and I for don put money for some strong altcooins wey pump well.

My biggest mistake in Bitcoin was not being able to start investing earlier before now, although their is nothing wrong starting when I did but it would have been more profitable on my investment on Bitcoin if I had started at the beginning, although the reason was that Bitcoin was very new and people did not really understand it that much so the doubt about the potential made people to have a double taught about investing on Bitcoin but however I'm very happy to have started the way I did because irrespective of the number of years I have missed but now I have been able to accumulate a reasonable amount of Bitcoin in my portfolio.

Although if I'm to go back in time or turn back the hands of time I would actually start accumulating Bitcoin right from the day one because by now I would actually have more than 100 Bitcoin because the price was more affordable then than now but however we cannot dwell in the past so no matter what the price has become now we will continue to invest on Bitcoin, meanwhile knowing what will actually become the price of Bitcoin in the 50 years to come could actually be impossible but however their is a certainty that price will be so much higher compare to what it is now.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
When I receive my bitcoin from signature campaign Bitvest

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
I see bitcoin as a bomb which will explode in the market. If anybody does not accumulate now, there will be a massive regret from those that didn't see it's future coming. expecially when the price will have gained alot popularity and surged in price.

Let's learn and laugh together guys, share with us the following about your experience with the golden coin Bitcoin:

1. How did you get to know about Bitcoin and in what year was that?
I got to know about Bitcoin in general from a friend and that was in January, 2020 but never made any move towards it till 2022.

3. If you are to go back in time, what do you wish you had done differently?
I wish I had known about Bitcoin earlier. Precisely when it started gaining prominence and even invested in it. Back then when any thing new that has to do with money is regarded as ponzi and coupled with my past experiences, it just limited me from benefiting from it.

4. Your favourite or best time with Bitcoin?
For me, the best time with Bitcoin will be this year, when we experienced the ATH.

5. How do you see Bitcoin in the next 50 years?
Bitcoin has been beating expectations since it's inception in 2008 and I believe it's still on that motion, so I see Bitcoin becoming a powerful financial tool that the government will have no choice but to recognize in the long run and that instead of setting up regulations that will hamper it, they will adopt, especially in those countries whose currency is not so strong.

No be lie, most of us for no dey the position wey we dey so, our lives for don change for good and assuming say this know wey we get now, assuming say na before by now, the kind Bitcoin wey i for get for plenty, i for don hold enough Bitcoin wey for do me and my future children and and grand children. Because wen I know about Bitcoin e never too tey and i dey regret why i no put interested since i was told but I'm still glad that i know and I'm part of if now, even if i don't have enough but there is still time.
