Title: Whatsminer M31S fans
Post by: Tiki1469 on June 10, 2024, 10:58:20 PM
My Whatsminer M31S miner fans are running, but HiveOS says they aren't, so the machine mining is suspended. Anyone know how to fix this?

Try moving your thread to Mining support (http://Mining support) board, you are mostly like going to get quicker response and help from experienced members in that board that here.

Maybe, there is misconfiguration?
It might also be useful if you can copy the Logs and post them here so that they can be looked at.

Are you mining in hiveOs? I would suggest better mine on the different mining pools you might be mining directly to HiveOS?

other mining pool can be find from this link below.

Sometimes this kind of issue fix by changing mining pool so try ckpool if the test is unsuccessful then you have a hardware issue.

Why would want to use a shity firmware that can't even read the fan speed properly, and on top of that you pay fees, what benefits does Hiveos or any other Whatsminer aftermarket firmware offer that the stock firmware doesn't? the stock firmware is jam-packed with the vast majority of features that any person would require, so if you want to fix your issue roll back to the stock firmware, otherwise, you are going to need to seek support from HiveOs guys.
