Title: how much do you love bitcoins?
Post by: Queentoshi on June 13, 2024, 12:52:52 PM
Sorry I may be asking so many questions at once, but I am having a rush of related thoughts amd just had to share it for us to learn.
How much do you love bitcoins? But think about it, what kind of situation do you think can push you into stopping to hold bitcoins and invest more in it? please share your episode.
Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country? If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?
Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.

Not surprising, another one user who treat Bitcoin as their God and willing to die for Bitcoin.

If the government threatens to arrest people who hold Bitcoin, then I don't give a fuck because I use no KYC P2P and never send my personal document, so I'm safe!

As for family member that need financial support, just use your brain to answer that, if you're stingy and not happy to help anyone including your closest family, then you can choose to not give your money.

Love is a big word.  ;D

Don’t love money too much even if it brings you so much joy. Bitcoin has changed a lot of lives and has helped a lot of people but at the end of the day it is still money and we shouldn’t love it too much.

What is the point of using bitcoin if I won’t get too use it for the rest of my life as I am in jail? Bitcoin is great but I suggest we all follow the law.

If I had the money to relocate, I would but I don’t and that’s why I am investing in bitcoin. Don’t lose yourself too much in bitcoin and crypto. Don’t let it consume and control your whole being. It is our future but not our everything.

The situation that can actually make me to stop buying and holding bitcoin is simply when i stop having extra income to invest or probably when i run into emergency and need funds to settle them. i can't be buying bitcoin with pressing things at hand it will only make me to panic when i hold.

first of all bitcoin is here to give one freedom and also ease the hassle of going through fiat centralization. You can't simply be investing into bitcoin at the expense of your security. if my country actually bans bitcoin i think it will be appropriate for me to abide by the rules, moreover bitcoin can be use anonymously, so why publicizing it to get the government at my back, even Satoshi wouldn't want me to go to jail just to use bitcoin. i will anonymously use bitcoin and wait till the government relaxes its laws. Yes in a country that i think has strict laws i would love to move away to a more friendly country not because of bitcoin only but considering other things too.

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.

Bitcoin is just like fiat currency which is to be used for our financial benfits, it will be somewhat absurd or wicked to stack bitcoin when my family is in dare need of financial assistance, this has nothing to do with bitcoin.

How much do you love bitcoins?

More than i do for fiat and as long as it network remain ever the same solution to security, privacy and decentralization for every users.

But think about it, what kind of situation do you think can push you into stopping to hold bitcoins and invest more in it?

If there is no more security found in the network and the protocols changed for vulnerabilities in which is nearly impossible to see happened with the blockchain network.

Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country?

They are two different things, i will have to treat each accordingly to how it applies to the present conditions with the people.

If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?

Why should i be a scape goat for nothing, i can choose other alternatives to use bitcoin without allowing them to know, that is why privacy is important in bitcoin network or i relocate to another country.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?

Yes

Well, honestly, I believe in the potential of Bitcoin, but that's not my priority right now. Another thing is that if I do a transaction going to fiat, most of my earnings will come from cryptocurrency,
not Bitcoin, and this is why it's true that it's happening to me.

Maybe when I do futures trading I can use Bitcoin to USDT pair, although the earnings I get are USDT when the technical analysis I made is correct.

I love bitcoin enough that I don't get easily swayed by FUD and in fact, I just really love that whenever FUD happens, I almost always know that bitcoin will go down in prices and it's going to be a great opportunity to buy more bitcoins for yourself, ain't no way that bitcoin will be going down in an indefinite time, the brief or temporary price drops are a buying opportunity for many of us. I don't obsess too much about bitcoin though, it feels really stupid to me that you would go so much at that point in something that could easily destroy your life if you do it wrong, don't be too obsessed like me, that's the logical thing to do and much healthier thing to do when you're invested in bitcoin.

The only thing that will stop me from holding bitcoin is death or bitcoin crashes, which the chance of that happening is very slim.

I don't love bitcoin to the extent of relocating to another country in order for me to spend my bitcoin. There are decentralized exchanges which will make the use of bitcoin possible, the law will affect those using centralized platforms.

I will get out the funds that I wanted to use to DCA for that week, if my close family member is in an urgent need. I will skip that week and whenever I am more funds, I will double my DCA for that week.

I think if I were to rate how much I love bitcoin, it would be 8 out of 10. Why not 10? Well, it's because we know that bitcoin still has its disadvantages, but it is 8—meaning it has many advantages, and bitcoin has given me a lot of opportunity. It has made me independent when it comes to money since I was in college, and because of bitcoin, I have learned to become more money-oriented and business-minded. So in short, I love bitcoin because it changes my life and it keeps on giving more opportunity and, of course, money at this time. That's why, no matter what others say about bitcoin, I will never let go of it. I will keep on believing in bitcoin, and I will keep on supporting bitcoin until the end. And I think we all love bitcoin, because why are we here in this forum if not right?

I like your candidness and I must affirm that I too do benefit immensely from Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, and you know what they say about having a love for something; it makes you want to stay attached, grow and develop personally so as to accommodate more information on the subject matter of interest.
Besides the investment opportunities and savings opportunity of which is more private than using a regular bank for such investment activities, it is a strong hedge against inflation and the future currency of the world.

If there is anyone who love Bitcoin, I'm one of them because Bitcoin have actually helped me in solving real problem. I got into Bitcoin from the angle of usage and not just investment like many people here. Bitcoin helped me when our government placed embargo on FX, which made it hard for us to do international transactions. I came to find out about the investment aspect of Bitcoin later because I just thought Bitcoin was all about usage as a medium of exchange. It will really be difficult to measure how much I love Bitcoin because many things about me revolve around Bitcoin.

How much do you love bitcoins?
Love it if this a relationship I been with bitcoin since 2014 although Im break up with she at the 2016 bull run I made a comeback at 2020 so I love it so much hahahha.

But think about it, what kind of situation do you think can push you into stopping to hold bitcoins and invest more in it? please share your episode.
Stopping to hold bitcoin I don't bro I love it like what I said before, our relationship might not perfect and found struggle but I believe in it so Im going to accumulate more hhaha.

Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country?
I love my mother country aswell I mean Bitcoin and country has two different side.

If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?
Im not going to jail because of bitcoin I mean people are smart, Bitcoin has been banned by certain countries but look at now even in banned country bitcoin still exist in the dark.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?
If I am bitcoin billionaire then why not move to another country but if I billionaire I can pay the law. OOpssss

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
Close family member and close friend than I would stop my DCA I love bitcoin but real friend and real family is number one in real life after GOD. Beside that DCA can be wait since the definition is Dollar Cost Average you can buy anytime at any price

This is like asking if you'd help out a friend or close relative if he needed financial help and you were in a position to help. I understand what bitcoin is, but let's not make it more than it is. It's not more important than the lives of our loved ones.
If the financial need is very serious and the person is close to you, why not make the sacrifice? I mean, it's not like you're not going to make any money again to DCA if you sacrifice this one. We shouldn't look down on relationships. Bitcoin is money, most likely the best form of money, but it's still money nonetheless, so it shouldn't be treated more than it is.
We shouldn't let money take centre stage in our lives. The people who love us and matter to us should take priority in my opinion.

I won't betray my country but I won't consider our failure to comply with some regulations as treason, so I will still look to invest in bitcoin even if the government bans it. Because after all, when I encounter economic difficulties, it is unlikely that the government will come to help, but with bitcoin I can save myself and my family . I have good reasons to invest in bitcoin despite the government ban.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?

If I had to choose between my family and bitcoin , I would choose my family . I don't care much whether my government bans bitcoin or not because there will always be a way for me to invest in bitcoin even if they ban it , so there is no reason for me to move to another country and leave my family .

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.

After all , bitcoin is just money and if I lose it, I still have the opportunity and ability to buy it back at any time , but if my loved ones pass away , I will not have a chance to find them again. Bitcoin is just money, nothing more, nothing less.

Where is the idea of plural bitcoin coming from. What do you mean by bitcoins instead of bitcoin? Do you mean BTC, BSV, Bitcoin cash and other folks of bitcoin when you say bitcoins? I asked because you used it more than once, so it is not a mistake.

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
The essence of having bitcoin, investing, using DCA is to have money to save the lives of your loved ones. What then is the essence of having bitcoin and allowing your loved ones die.

I have been benefitted by existence of Bitcoin which has improved my standard of living and how do I saw how much I love Bitcoin ? It would be as much as one would love any person who have helped them improve their standard of living. Yes if any of my near and dear be it family member or relatives needs help I would give a second though and skip my DCA as making money is not the end goal rather helping others is the one which should be end goal.

Going to another country for bitcoin is a difficult decision. If i were to do it, it would only give me a lot of security for my family and also for my friends. If you have built up something over many years, you dont leave it so quickly without making sure that everything will go well, so thats what i do. I wouldnt want to go to prison because of money/bitcoin or assets, the time you have in life is too valuable. I would help someone in the family financially, or have already done so, and i would do it again and again if the family recognizes it and is grateful. So bitcoin is not everything for me, i always focus on the health of my family and friends and other people.

It is impossible to measure how much Bitcoin is loved because it is well-known that Bitcoin is one of the most popular coins in the cryptocurrency world.  Hopefully, you don't have to explain whether popular coins need love.  You are expected to avoid getting the benefits this bitcoin will give you from any other coin.  The lives of many people depend on Bitcoin to improve.  Many people think that loving Bitcoin means loving itself.

I don't get the question you asking, bitcoin is not an activity or hobby of mine so I can't see why the love world should be used, but rather bitcoin you can ask a question of preference, if I would prefer bitcoin over another commodity.

Anyway, I don't or have not though of any situation that would stop me from holding bitcoin and I'm not one of those HOLD LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT guy, I just invest because i find it as a profitable thign to do and besides long term holding is the beat approach to an asset with too possibility like bitcoin.

I would marry Bitcoin.
I would leave my country for Bitcoin.  Hell.  I would leave Earth for it.
I would commit Crime for Bitcoin.
My love for it is immeasurable and infinite.  May Bitcoin be Blessed and may it be the Love of our lives.

On a serious note now.  I think you are over exaggerating the situation.  We like Bitcoin for what it does, but I do not think it is healthy to 'love' it so much that you love it more than you love your country or your family.  If that is the case, there may be a problem.

Of course I would skip my Dollar Cost Average to help my family.  I am sure there are others who would not, but not because it is Bitcoin.  But because this is how they are, they would not give up things and plans for family.

My love for bitcoin is like that of a business man that sees an avenue to invest his money and make profit out of it, and wouldn't hesitate to seize the opportunity to make investment.  The love for my mother land is not in contention as I don't see that affecting my bitcoin investment, bitcoin is decentralized so government policies within my country wether positive or negative don't have any direct impact on my investment, also my bitcoin is my private business so no matter how hostile a country might want to be against bitcoiner, it will really not have significant impact on them, so the need to relocate doesn't really hold water.

DCA investment is not a one time thing, it's a gradual process which allows you make investment within your ability for a period of time, so a one time help of a family member that is in need shouldn't stop you from your DCA plan.

I love Bitcoin, and because of him, there were altcoins. But right now I can't afford to buy a large amount of Bitcoin. That's why I'm applying the DCA methods while I'm actually saving it in my wallet. Now, if I hope to make a big profit here in bitcoin in the bull run that we are facing, I don't think I will be able to make a big profit in bitcoin yet. Because I'm not like Microstrategy, Elon Musk, or Vitalik Buterin, who are capable of buying multiple bitcoins.

Maybe for now, I will first prioritize accumulating a lot in the top altcoins listed in the market that can increase my capital by 20x or more, because we know that this bull run will not be able to multiply Bitcoin's price in the market by at least 10x of our capital.

I love Bitcoin and I love my country. If it happens that my country bans Bitcoin, I'd secretly keep my Bitcoin while staying in my country. But I'm sure it won't stop there. Opinions change. One administration may be against Bitcoin. The next administration may support it. Or it's possible that an existing administration's opinion of Bitcoin changes before it ends.

Sacrificing money for the sake of relatives and friends depends on the situation. If it's urgent or a life and death situation and they've already exhausted all means, I can easily cancel my DCA. But if it isn't or if it's largely due to laziness or unnecessary dependency on others, I won't be sacrificing any.

Title: Re: how much do you love bitcoins?

If love means trust then yes. I am very convinced that nothing can make me pull out my investments from bitcoin unless it is time for me to take profit. I know for a fact that any dip in the market is just temporary and I shouldn't panic and suddenly take out my coins out of fear.
If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
It depends. Is it an emergency, a health one perhaps? If it needs urgent money then I would be willing to help but if it really isn't then I might tell them that I do not have extra money but this will only apply in extended family. Ofcourse my family is my priority over anything else.

Bitcoin has changed many things in my life, since I started investing in Bitcoin, there are so many benefits that I have gained from it. However, in loving something, we are always taught not to love too much, or in other words, love something without having to cross the line.
It's hard to describe what kind of situation made me stop investing in Bitcoin. Now I still hold Bitcoin to maintain my financial situation in the future, as long as it is still profitable I will continue to invest in Bitcoin without any restrictions.

There are state rules that must not be violated and the consequence is that you can be imprisoned. If the sentence is only a day or at least a week, it doesn't matter if you have to go to prison. However, I will also try to anticipate these consequences by hiding my real identity so that Bitcoin ownership cannot be traced.

Moving to another country is not as easy as you imagine, there are processes and stages that need to be gone through to complete all the documents for moving from one country to another. In this question I have to look more realistically between the benefits and ease of the process, there is so much to consider when moving to another country and it also costs so much money. If I had a large amount of money for mobilization costs to move, maybe I would do it because there I could continue what I have managed so far.

Bitcoin is illegal in my country where I live. Investing in Bitcoin is totally prohibited in our country. Still I love Bitcoin and Bitcoin is a trusted currency. It's not that Bitcoin is illegal in my country so I can't invest. I have been involved with Bitcoin for more than two years, so far I have not had any problems, I have maintained privacy and no one knows that I have invested in Bitcoin. Many people in our country have been punished legally for using bitcoins in our country. So be careful and invest in Bitcoin maintaining privacy.

I plan to invest in Bitcoin in DCA method for long term. If someone close to me comes to me for financial help, I will help financially to the best of my ability but I will continue with DCA. My plan is to continue investing in the DCA method till 2030.

I support Bitcoin, but I wouldn't say I love it. I generally don't love things, I only love people. I certainly would not be willing to go to jail over Bitcoin, even for one day. It's important to me to follow the laws and rules, so I try not to do illegal things. As for relocation, Bitcoin is also not something over which I'd change my place of residence, and it's currently very hard to do it in my country anyway.
So I just use Bitcoin and appreciate it, but a lot of things and situations are way above it for me.

I think that the word "love" isn't appropriate. I don't love Bitcoin. BTC is just a financial asset, why would anyone love a financial asset or currency? ;D Maybe you should change your wording to "Do you like Bitcoin?" or "Do you prefer Bitcoin?"
I don't consider myself to be a big patriot, but I definitely don't love money more than my country.
Moving away from your country, just because the situation is bad has nothing to do with loving your country or loving Bitcoin.
You just have to do the best you can to preserve your safety and your wealth. If there's war or government oppression, I would run away from my country, even if I had zero Bitcoins.

Because of bitcoin's decentralized nature, it has become almost impossible for the government to identify who are or who aren't using bitcoin. But I said almost because they can still somehow trace back the owner of an address and follow the strings.

Especially if you are using a centralized exchange, the chances of the government finding you has heightened. But if bitcoin is illegal in your country then it is most likely that centralized exchanges are banned as well. On the other hand, some people can still use bitcoin because they are very careful and discrete when making transactions.

Especially if you are using a centralized exchange, the chances of the government finding you has heightened. But if bitcoin is illegal in your country then it is most likely that centralized exchanges are banned as well. On the other hand, some people can still use bitcoin because they are very careful and discrete when making transactions.
in my country bitcoin is clearly prohibited as a means of payment, the rest is not a problem, trading or investing is permitted by the government. However, when the time comes to exchange it for fiat, the government can track it, because it is mandatory for KYC. On the other hand, in this way the government can collect taxes and generate income for the state

I love Bitcoin to the extent that I don't easily get moved by dump, we can not dispute the fact that Bitcoin has some it own demerits and merits too, as far as it is an asset, every asset has good time and bad times, we  bitcoiners are affected by either of this, although I woundnt say that I don't know anything about altcoin but sincerely my love for Bitcoin made me not be interested in altcoins and other new projects, the moment I find out that all coin are been control by the upward and downward movement of bitcoin, this made me to put more attention in Bitcoin, realistically overtime, Bitcoin has proven to us that it's worthy of our investment, so I don't think that there is any reason why we should not invest in Bitcoin, if it is about fluntuation, fluntuation and volatility is the concept of Bitcoin and it shouldn't be an excuse for us not to invest in Bitcoin, as Bitcoin is, every other investment has their own disadvantages too and i think most times what we see as disadvantage may be the reason for such asset existence.

How much do you love bitcoins?
I love bitcoin but we should be careful how we love material things otherwise we worship it as God.

But think about it, what kind of situation do you think can push you into stopping to hold bitcoins and invest more in it? please share your episode.
I don't see anything stopping me from HODLing bitcoin or investing in it. Since I always accumulate using DCA strategy and i always make sure i have a reserve fund to help me achieve or settle some pressing need to avoid touching my bitcoin or slowing my accumulation process, so it's hard for anything to slow me down. I may even take loan to avoid selling my bitcoin HODLing.

Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country? If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?
It is not necessary to show up for your country to know you are into bitcoin when you know it is forbidden. You must have to be smart scale through it, by doing bitcoin anonymously.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?
Except there is no long a centralised P2P exchange or even Dex P2P, then I have no option than to go to a country where I can make use of my bitcoin HODLings

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
If it is a live saving attempt I will skip my DCA and solve it since family comes First in what ever we do. The love of money is the root of all evil according to the bible.

I still remember when I first invested in Bitcoin I probably didn't have much money but I had a bicycle that I sold and invested in Bitcoin. So you can imagine how much love for Bitcoin I can do like this. I tried to learn about Bitcoin early on and over time the more I learned about Bitcoin the more interested I became in investing. Maybe I don't have that much bitcoins but the amount of bitcoins I have so far I love my amount and I always try to increase my investment. I don't spend money unless absolutely necessary and most of the money I earn now I invest regularly in Bitcoin. I am optimistic about my investment and think that for a long time I will continue to invest like this and continue to invest.

Of course I would skip my Dollar Cost Average to help my family.  I am sure there are others who would not, but not because it is Bitcoin.  But because this is how they are, they would not give up things and plans for family.

I would even sell all my bitcoins if one of my relatives was in mortal danger, not just ignore the dollar cost average to help the family. People who compare and make a choice between bitcoin and home are people who have forgotten what the purpose of investing in bitcoin is. We invest in bitcoin so we can help our families and ourselves have a better life, not to worship it and never use it. So, when our loved ones need (urgent) help, there is no reason for us to hesitate in choosing family or bitcoin.

I also agree with some others, bitcoin is just an asset and using the word love is not appropriate for it. After all, bitcoin, fiat, gold...are all just to serve our lives, we don't serve them.

Don't overfeed to much on huge expectation and treat this as fun activities since if you let yourself caught with it then provably you will live into fantasies that sometimes hard to digest. Maybe best approach is to seek for realistic ones and just understand the whole situation of your investment then don't think that you love this to much since love for money is like love for evil. So take all things easy and enjoy your earnings from bitcoin.

Although all of us really want to earn but don't let ourselves eaten up by our greed and lets not focus on bitcoin only since there's wide opportunity outside waiting for us so think about that this is only a side income that can give us good profits and we need to be careful upon praising to much since this might give us trouble so just chill around then enjoy. But yeah would help my close family member if he have financial trouble if his reason is valid and it will help temporarily solve his problems.

There are a lot of things to say to explain how much I love Bitcoin but I would like to sum it up by saying that anyone who loves Bitcoin must have invested in Bitcoin. I think love is born from faith, you invest in bitcoin because you believe. Many believe in Bitcoin and have kept investing since its inception. There are many of them who have faith in Bitcoin and are still investing despite its current high value. As long as you have the faith and patience to invest in Bitcoin, you will love Bitcoin. Your love for bitcoin will slowly turn to hate whenever you lose your faith in bitcoin investing.

After reading the first lines of your post, I was surprised, and I had to quickly look at the nickname of the writer, after which I exhaled and realized who was writing it. :)
But seriously, I see so many people who idolize Bitcoin. I wouldn't be so crazy that I couldn't help a loved one for the sake of my savings. But unfortunately, if there are such thoughts, then there will always be such people.

The reason why I started investing in Bitcoin is not just for now but for the future and for some reason if during the process of DCA there's a need to assist a member of my family who is in a pressing need, I would gladly skip the DCA funds to render the assistance then afterwards I can increase the amount by ×2 so that it will cover the previous one that was skipped.

I think our family is also the reason why most of us venture into investments and businesses I don't think it's nice to see any members of our family suffer pains as a result of lack of financial support while we have what it takes to help them out, I don't mind using half of my investment money to save my family members because I so much cherish and love them like myself even though they have not really supported me in my journey as a Bitcoin investor.

Im a big believer in Bitcoin. Bigger than anything we've ever seen, disruptive, and the way money will be in the future. If the government goes after Bitcoin, thats a meh situation. Always have I respected the law. So you gotta think long and hard about what you're gonna do. Moving to another country is a big deal. It affects your life, your family, the full package; not just the money.

And listen, family always comes first if you have to choose between Bitcoin and supporting them. Always. We cannot negotiate that. Money's important, but its not everything. Real success is about looking after your family and yourself. Bitcoin isnt going anywhere. Family, it lasts a lifetime.

Here I thought you were serious because this is genuinely some of the people who are crypto/bitcoin enthusiasts sound like. I understand the 'love' for bitcoin to some extent. I am going to admit that it has definitely changed my life for the better and for that I am thankful but I don't think I can bring myself to commit things I would never do for the love of bitcoin especially if it will put me or my family in harm's way.

Let's not over exaggerate things here, we love bitcoin for many reasons but that we can compare to our lives, family and friends, if you do not know the value of this people in your life you are likely setting yourself up because when the unforeseen happens you will have to call on bitcoin to help you.

Everyone in the cryptocurrency world loves Bitcoin. I don't see Bitcoin as a bad thing because Bitcoin is a coin. In the future, Bitcoin will be a middleman of all. There will come a time when there will be nothing to imagine without Bitcoin.
There will be a time when bitcoins are declared illegal in their own country; even if they hold bitcoins, Babi will employ them secretly. The love for Bitcoin will never wane, no matter how many obstacles it faces.

But if the market is not good I don't think then people will try to love Bitcoin because people are more profit oriented.

I can assure you that you will be willing to take drastic actions so that you won't jeopardize your source of income, or you won't make it vulnerable for anyone even the government to tamper it. Perhaps you may be young, and you may not understand this because you do not have a family or severe responsibility in hands. Bitcoin is the reason why I'm here and besides is there anybody who wouldn't like Bitcoin? Because if not for Bitcoin the name cryptocurrency may not have been on existence because it was through Bitcoin other things came on board, and also there are a lot opportunities and advantages investing Bitcoin so I will forever cherish Bitcoin because is my number one.

The acceptance of crypto by majority of the people is due to the existence and success of crypto and one cannot ignore the uses of Bitcoin in real life and the economy of an individual. Bitcoin is the top priority of individuals for investment purposes and those who have no Bitcoin is because they cannot afford to buy it.

Bitcoin is the only opportunity about which the doubt of success disappears because we have witnessed its success from years and those will be more successful who are a part of Bitcoin investment from the course of maximum years.

1. Arrested because of dealing with Bitcoin? If they would really be able to trace it up then good luck but we do know that this isnt something that could really be that possible not unless
if you are really that a fan on making huge transactions on centralized exchanged platforms on which its KYC verified then its an another story.

2. Migrating into other place just because your country is really that investing to bitcoin and having that kind of prohibition or restriction?
It would really be just that a hassle thing for such consideration.

3. When it comes on helping your family members then it would really be just that depending on you. If you are someone whose really that stone cold
when it comes to situations or someone whose in need then you wont really be having that care and just that simply reject or ignore such condition
but for me i cant be able to resist specially if its inside the family which needs up help.

My country has recently become anti crypto and that hasn’t made me consider moving to another country. I can still find ways to trade bitcoin without getting into trouble with the law.

That is exactly why they are not making it illegal, don't you think a nation who has their own currency, would make their currency weaker by allowing another currency to be legal there to be used? Of course they would, but they realized long time ago that if they put time and effort into making people stop using it, they could just tax it and make an income. This is as simple as that, they just realized that taxing and getting money from people is just a much better option.

This is why my nation not only allows you to invest into it and hold it, but allows you to accept it as payment too, not in some crypto way, not a special thing, you can accept dollar, euro, yuan, whatever foreign currency if you want to sell for that, and same goes for crypto in a manner.

What evidence do you have that people are moving to El Salvador and the Central African Republic just because they want to use bitcoin as legal currency? Barriers to language, culture, lifestyle, especially family, will many people be willing to leave their families just to use bitcoin legally? Also, is it easy to move to another country and become a citizen there? Because as far as I know, immigrating and becoming a legal citizen is not easy. Not to mention the security situation and income levels in those countries...there are a lot of things to consider before making the decision to emigrate. I don't think many people dare to do that.

Like you, even a government ban on bitcoin cannot stop you from using bitcoin and intending to move to another country. So I'm really skeptical of anyone who says they're going to move to El Salvador and the Central African Republic just because they want to use bitcoin legally.

By the way, I don't know what the situation is in the Central African Republic, but their attempt to make bitcoin legal tender failed and they made an announcement about it.

Too big fear when you want to make an investment will make you lose the opportunity to reach the stage of financial freedom. While other people have been going so far for investment problems in Bitcoin as long as they have the ability to buy. Investment in Bitcoin can be run anonymously and no one knows if you can keep it a secret and most importantly the security that needs to be improved. Moving other countries is not easy because we cannot get citizenship easily, except only moving as people who do not settle and there are many arrangements that we must pay for permission to live there.

Simple because we live not always to rely on investment but sensitive to the environment around the surrounding is also needed let alone related to helping family members. The purchase process using DCA can be applied in accordance with financial capabilities and if for the planned week cannot be purchased then we can take the opportunity in the following week.

There are a lot of things one needs to consider before taking hard actions. If someone is earning through cryptocurrencies and they know that the government or the authorities are making things difficult for them, they might think of relocating to another country only to continue earning money, but to do that, one needs to see if they are earning enough money to be able to cover all the expenses and still do good living in the other country.

It is only worth it if you are earning enough money to be able to bear all the expenses including travel, residence, food and drinks, and everything else and still be able to save some money or send money to your family if they aren't moving with you, and if you can't move the family with you, it would only be a temporary thing since you can't live without your family forever.

Sometimes, when I enthusiastically talk about purchasing altcoins, people assume I don't like Bitcoin. In reality, I believe the timing for investing in altcoins and Bitcoin differs. Bitcoin tends to perform better in the early stages of the market, especially during a bear market. Currently, it's an optimal time to invest in new and undervalued coins. Bitcoin remains the leader in the crypto market and sets the tone for market speculation.

I love BTC as much as I love my other investments and assets. But my love for Bitcoin can't be compared to each of them as they're all unique and valuable to me so I'd just say that they do have their equal and fair share of my love because if you're into it, you have to love all of them. And the only time that I'll stop investing into Bitcoin is when no one gets to hold it anymore. No individual, no financial institutions that holds it anymore and they've expressed all of their frustrations into it. But that's very unlikely to happen especially today that we've got an ETF of it already.

Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country? If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?
If it's just for a day, it's fine but if it's going to take my life time or half of my life, that's a different thing to do. I know that our love for BTC was there but it is incomparable to the love that we have for our country. There are people who are going with this rough situation that their country has banned Bitcoin and all they wanna do is to keep it in silent.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?
Possible, to a country where I can enjoy freedom of holding. Or if not, I'll not tell a thing or two to anyone that I still have it and I'd stay lowkey.

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
Really depends on the situation but I've done that before without sacrificing my strategy to DCA.

If the government want to arrest people that are into bitcoin and send us to jail, I will happily continue my bitcoin investment and trading in the prison. After all bitcoin doesn't require a special environment to be traded. Unless we won't have access to our mobile devices in the prison yard. But if they give a particular date before they start hunting people down, I will gladly relocate to a nearby country that's bitcoin friendly and reside there. There is no faking it, my love for bitcoin is very deep. In as much as I love my country, I won't sacrifice  bitcoin for my country. Half of what bitcoin has done for me my country hasn't done it for me.

On your second question, I will never use my investment money and give to anyone who said he/she has a financial challenges. It's just like a farmer who has eaten his seed before the planting season. When the harvesting season will come he won't have anything to harvest because he didn't plant because he has eaten his seed. That relative should go and look for money elsewhere, if my investment brings profits tomorrow, I will help him and pay the debt from the profit I will make. If I give him my investment money, both of us will be poor and nobody will help me tomorrow, so it's better to sacrifice one than lose two at a time.

Bitcoin gives a measure of freedom that's all. Love isn't attached to it because it's something inanimate. Bitcoin can hardly even make you rich these days so it's nothing special except to early adopters.

The word love is very deep. Investors or we like bitcoins only purpose is we will make money from it and nothing else. But I don't love Bitcoin so much that I'm willing to go to jail or even relocate for it. Our country government is against bitcoin ie bitcoin is illegal so we have to use bitcoin safely. Many kids have already landed in jail because Bitcoin is illegal. I don't want to be like them.

You have mentioned an important point. There are many investors among us who start investing in DCA method and after a few days they sell their investments due to family financial needs. In such cases, their investment does not last long. Before investing in Bitcoin, plan your investment so that you don't have to sell your investment to meet your family's financial needs. But I will not hesitate to sell my bitcoins if my family needs financial support If he is a close member of my family.

You are right that government officials tend to be slick when it comes to matters like these. They know what they need to do so that they can benefit from something if they aren't able to get rid of it. Now, suppose they can see that they aren't able to completely eradicate the use of cryptocurrencies among their people. In that case, they will think of regulating them and taxing people who use them instead of trying to keep them away from them.

In our country, so far, they are hesitant to do it, there is no clear ruling about cryptocurrencies or their usage but the State Bank have ordered banks and  other financial institutions to not allow transactions related to cryptocurrencies, so whenever a transaction such as that is found or suspected, the account is blocked and the funds are confiscated.

I'm sure this will change, but it is going to take some time though.

Well I love bitcoin let's get that straight, but to the point of fanaticism and being a maximalist even when it comes with ideals? Fuck no. There are people who like bitcoin and see it for what it really is, and then there are people who think bitcoin is the second coming of jesus christ or some shit, and are either argumentative against those who shoot them down on their broken logics, or are spiteful against newbies when the reality is that we've all been brainless idiots in this industry once.

I don't have a love for country, I love what it looks like but not to the point where I would die for it. Same as with bitcoin, I love it because it does something for me but to die and get arrested for it? Nah, I don't want to, miss me with that shit lol.

I love your response sir and this is one straight up and very realistic answer op must have gotten here on this thread.
Most persons, especially in a country like mine, are already forgetting that, bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency and as such, can’t be controlled by anyone but I wouldn’t have to blame them if they’re already forgetting this, because with the recent development and actions of the government, it seems bitcoin is already losing its sweet savor of decentralization.

Bitcoin shouldn’t be worth dying for because you’ve been living since before bitcoin was invented and that should be one major reason why shouldn’t die for it.

If your family member has a pressing need for money, it’s left for you to decide to give or not and not making it seem like DCA is the reason why you’re not giving as DCA only requires a consistent buying regardless of the buying amount.

Maybe only health related problems that can stop me from hodling Bitcoin because when one is going through health condition that can make one lose life, using all the hodling money to solve health conditions is worth because health is wealth and when one is in a good state of health it is possible to continue hodl bitcoin again.

If my country will not be conducive for me make investment that will be of good benefit for me then it is better for me to shift to a place where can invest without interruptions.  Even if I decide to stay back in my country their is no gain because I don't think I will benefit from the government,  so it will be better for me to found myself in a new location.

I don't love it, but I have enough understanding to trust and put my investment on it.
Maybe when the time comes that I am comfortable with the profit I made on investing in Bitcoin, but to completely stop holding Bitcoin, I don't know, it depends on the situation, financially, ie..

No. As I said, I have trust on it. If ever there will be a restriction coming from the government, I will make a move to make myself safe from getting involved like avoiding any crypto sites who have KYC. Most likely it will be the reason for getting tracked in this kind of scenario.

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
No, because I believe that if I want to help my family, close family member or anyone I know, I should help myself first. Skipping the planned DCA or the investment might greatly affect the plan and financial status I'm expecting. It will be a no good for me and this kind of situation, especially in our country where a family member will ask for a financial help, the money they owed will never be paid. It's only a miracle if ever they pay you the money back.

Humankind is more important than any riches that I can get, I would had already had some Bitcoin that I can hodl if I give out the money to help someone in need of it. Sickness can lead to death and I would not want that to happen to someone that I know because I would still have to contribute to the burial of the person so why did I not help when they were sick instead of waiting until they die before I helped in the burial. I love Bitcoin but my love for Bitcoin can not be more than the love I should have for people around me. If I only love Bitcoin, it would be that I am obsessed with money and greedy to only want to make money. I coud be in the same situation in the future and I would want my health to be considered first therefore I will help with my money.

Not only health, life...many things in this world are many times more important and valuable than bitcoin. After all, bitcoin is just money, nothing more and nothing less, and making money after losing it is not too difficult but there are things that once we lose, we will never find again. So OP comparing bitcoin to patriotism or helping loved ones is a lame comparison.

But it cannot be denied that I have seen some people doubt their closest relatives because of bitcoin, they consider bitcoin above all else, even the love between parents and children, husband and wife...They give up everything around them and only have bitcoin, bitcoin in their head, and that makes them no different from someone who only knows money.

Everyone that have invested or even do trading will take serious and be committed to it because the moment you show commitment so your skills will also improve the same time. And who will not love bitcoin for long now their people that have stocked to their investments, and they don’t do any other thing even jobs they are so committed to trading or holding bitcoin and their is no other love that anyone can show than to trust what ever they have faith in, because if you don’t love your investment their is no way you can succeed, and bitcoin have been available since 2009 and see the great thing bitcoin have accomplished for them self, this is just a sign that you won’t lose when you invest in bitcoin. And if you either do short or long you will still make money if you follow the due process.

But I still don't believe in the action of buying back Bitcoin when I see a decline in the market, although there are also quite a few people who take advantage of this when correction conditions start to hit the market.

One may not be able to express his true love completely on bitcoin not until they have invested in it, people use to say that, where your treasure is lies your heart, if your a bitcoin holder, then you will realized the relevance of your asset, holdings and how profitable its going to give you some earning opportunities, this will all be part of the reasons why you would make it a priority towards taking everything concerning it with all seriousness, because with bitcoin, you cant afford to make mistakes as such could cost you, people love bitcoin mostly because of the opportunities it provides for them to make profits and also have privacy and control over their digital currency.

Of course when I don't have additional income I will stop buying bitcoin, because for me, without additional income, buying bitcoin will backfire on me when my needs are not met. Not holding bitcoins anymore when I need them most. Because bitcoin is the best money, our goal in investing is also to make a profit and when I get the profit I want I will sell and buy again when the price goes down.

This is a difficult choice, but I will continue to follow government regulations. But I think this question is too much. Because bitcoin has no government control, it is free and private. Even if the country prohibits it, we can still hold Bitcoin and can still invest.

Doing dca on bitcoin is good, especially in the long term. However, if my family or closest friends need money because of an urgent need, I will help them first. I really like bitcoin but I also don't want my family or friends to have needs but I won't help, especially if it involves lives. Of course, delaying doing dca is a wise choice because doing dca can be done at any time but helping family or close friends is considered much more important.

Love is not madness; there are things we do for life. There are things we don’t do, regardless of how much we love them, for example. Know I like bitcoin, and the love I have for it won’t stop now unless we stop existing, but for all these conditions you are bringing now, we don’t pray for such things to happen, but if they do, seriously, I won’t do it because I have myy own personal reason I will no go, although especially the one of sleeping in the prison yard that is kind of Something, which you also know will be hard to do in someone's life, although I don’t know for others, is impossible to me.

That depends on your faith in bitcoin. I agree that there are some people who, after making money, will leave the market and choose another path, but there are also some people who stay and continue their investment journey. It can be said that it all depends on each person's thoughts and vision.

I made profits during the 2021 bull run and then I also started accumulating bitcoin from the bear season from 2022 until now, and I wouldn't mind repeating that in the future. I don't see any reason to panic when I see bitcoin drop more because that's how financial markets work and how we make profits. But one difference is that I will not invest all my money in bitcoin like many years ago, instead I will diversify with other assets.

As long as Bitcoins aren’t a threat to my country, I will definitely invest and trade in the coins. The main reason for which the government is hating bitcoins is due to not being able to collect the tax from the coins. This seems not to be harming the nation in any manner. Moreover, first of all, we need to see our growth, then the country’s growth. So it’s fine investing in the coin. Bitcoins have given huge returns in the past few years; hence, the love for Bitcoins will always be there in the heart for all the investors and traders.

The first part got me rolling in laughter, but to the serious one I think I’d personally leave my country if I and my families lives are at risk because of holding Bitcoin.
Some countries already look like they might be on this path, Nigeria arrested some Binance employee’s for silly reason if you ask me although some took a back door out the country.
What I’m saying is if my country makes Holding Bitcoin a crime worth jail term and I’ve got the means to relocate my family and I then why not what has the country done for its citizens to warrant such ridiculous law.

There is no doubt for people who have made big profits in bitcoin so they can buy whatever they want. There is even a new trend of people who have just invested their money in bitcoin now, such as the equation of increasingly widespread adoption. It is not without reason that people increasingly believe in this asset because from the beginning of the journey until now, bitcoin has provided real evidence of maintaining value so that money will continue to be productive if placed in bitcoin.

A person who is consistent with investing in bitcoin must have experienced financial changes for the better, but they must dare to survive in any condition. Some people may actually sell back when the market is down and it is based on panic because they do not know the cycle process that is occurring.

governments will not be able to control the development of Bitcoin in their countries. Currently, Bitcoin is increasingly popular both for those who trade and for those who invest. The more people's trust in Bitcoin increases, it will show that Bitcoin is increasingly accepted and liked.

actually, the government can still take taxes from this industry. not on Bitcoin holders who will be very difficult for the government to control. but on those who trade on local exchanges. those who make withdrawals and it will be charged to the exchange. The effect is that trading costs have increased and even exchange withdrawal fees have become more expensive.

How could bitcoin be a threat to your country? It would be pretty hard for bitcoin to become a threat to anyone to be fair. It is a good thing, it also allows people to see and understand how financial system really works on a smaller scale, because you get to see a single market and you get it. Think about all the people in the world who got richer and richer thanks to stock market, and that exists in every nation because every nation has their own companies and economy.

Now, we have just one market, which is crypto market, it works from all over the world, and you get to be able to invest into it, and learn how the system works. We basically made our own system when the stock market business people didn't accepted us into their world.

I don't know if this is an exaggeration or not because you said you like bitcoin more than your own wife, I hope your wife doesn't read your post. :D But no matter how much we love Bitcoin, we still need to have good controls so you can invest in Bitcoin responsibly. Afraid of loving you too much, you don't think about your wife's needs because all her money is invested in bitcoin. So when there is a decline you will panic and sell bitcoin which causes you to experience a loss.

If you are a Bitcoin lover, dumping shouldn't make you lose, in fact it's a good idea to be able to buy more at a cheap price. Because as long as you don't sell bitcoin you won't lose, so hold onto bitcoin until your goal is achieved.

How much do you love bitcoins?
How much do you love a computer, a lathe or a paint brush? Bitcoin is not a girl to be loved. :) Bitcoin is a (financial) instrument that performs certain functions.

But think about it, what kind of situation do you think can push you into stopping to hold bitcoins and invest more in it? please share your episode.
As soon as this financial instrument ceases to fulfill its functions, it seems to me that there is no point in continuing to use it.

Another thing is that bitcoin can be used to use several functions (speculative, investment instrument, cross-border money, and many others).

Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country? If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?
This question is similar to the question “who do you love more? Mom or Dad?” It seems strange to me to talk about bitcoin in the context of love. Do you love dollars, euro or yen? But this is just a means of payment and exchange of goods and services.

If bitcoin is pursued by governments, arrests will certainly not be limited to one day.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?
People move from one country to another, where the business environment is more favorable, and therefore, moving to another country due to restrictions on investing in bitcoin I don't consider it something fundamentally different.

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
There are too many unknown variables in your question. The final decision about help will depend on many factors: what is the situation in which the person in need finds himself, what is the relationship with this person and whether he is worthy of being helped. Counter question: will you help financially a lazy person or a idler or a gambler with a gambling addiction? Are you ready to sponsor their entertainment and senseless purchases and waste of money while sacrificing your financial interests?

I love Bitcoin because it’s real money, it can’t be counterfeited & no more can be printed. It’s decentralised, no individual or small group of assholes have full control of it. There isn’t really anything I don’t like about Bitcoin, most of my money is invested in Bitcoin.

I love Bitcoin more than my wife because I spend far less time with my wife than I do with Bitcoin.  So I can say without a doubt that Bitcoin has taken over most of the time in my life.  But in the current situation Bitcoin is giving me a lot of panic because in this dumping situation I have invested more than 1000 dollars in Bitcoin and now I am in loss instead of profit.

No, my wife doesn't know about this post till now but if she knows she won't cook rice for me anymore so I have to starve.
Yes, it is true that one should not be afraid of losing by investing in Bitcoin but should be patient and wait for the next market correction. I am now waiting for the next market correction and it remains to be seen how long this wait will be.

Sorry I may be asking so many questions at once, but I am having a rush of related thoughts amd just had to share it for us to learn.
How much do you love bitcoins? But think about it, what kind of situation do you think can push you into stopping to hold bitcoins and invest more in it? please share your episode.

Love is a word that I reserve for my family, friends and pets, so I do not love bitcoin, I see bitcoin as an incredible invention and a useful tool to resist the terrible economic decisions that governments all over the world are taking, and the only reason I would stop holding bitcoin is if for some reason it was changed to something that went against its ideals, the rest of your questions can be answered by simply saying that I will always put myself first, after all if I do not do it then who would? So I am not willing to go to jail over bitcoin or lending so much money that it will put my own financial future at risk, still I have never linked my identity to my bitcoin holdings, so even if the politicians on my country went crazy and passed a law like that, I am relatively safe.

I don't love Bitcoin, neither my country or the local government. If the government threatens Bitcoin enthusiasts, I will have to find an alternative to cope with the situation in front of me. If I'm in possession of a considerable sum of Bitcoin I may really consider leaving the country and going somewhere where Bitcoin adopters are respected and allowed to operate freely.

However, if I don't have a large amount of Bitcoins, I might have to just continue using it hidden from the government's eyes or to get rid of my holdings to invest in something else in the present moment... The thing is that I don't own any loyalty to Bitcoin, neither to the government. I'm just thankful for the existence and for being able to have access to the first, while I having disdain for the second.

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.
That sounds like an emergency, therefore the DCA plan has to be delayed until the emergency with the family or friend is finally resolved. I believe we have to love individuals, instead of loving money, so we can use money in our favour and in favour of our beloved ones pursuing happiness, welfare and personal development.

My life is my life and I am planning for every turn event on it. I might give some help but don't expect a lot from me.

We all face something in our lives and these people that are asking for help might also give some help to us in the future. I'm not closing my doors but if I can't help them with the entire thing they're asking me.

I'll still give some but I'll focus to my life and that's the best that I can do for them, if they ask for more, sorry but that's it.

Then if you're in panic, give more time to your wife. She should be the one to help you at these times emotionally.  ;)
