I was searching for making money online for free and I found to earn it through faucet on freebitco.in

What make me stay is when I find other promising way to earn Bitcoin which is signature campaign and after that I learn if Bitcoin is the most secure and promising asset, which make me to hold 99% of my money in Bitcoin.

If I didn't find this forum, I doubt if I would have Bitcoin in the present.

Where the hell have you been ?
Just went through your profile and man, you’re doing a great work with your writings and sincerely, I do admire how well and how sincere you make your writings.

Frankly, I think if not for the forum, a lot of persons wouldn’t appreciate bitcoin the way they do now and earning from signature campaigns has given people more driven focus to stay active in the r crypto industry.

Personally the first time I heard of bitcoin was during the era of ponzi if I’m not wrong and since everything about internet money as at then seemed like scam, I wasn’t willing to take the risk to invest but the forum has given more edge and reason to love and appreciate bitcoin.

Just like many people would tell you we all came about bitcoin because we heard that there’s possibility of income here. Many heard about this and immediately deemed bitcoin as a scam but for some, we checked it out and now here we are.

If we all came because of a promise of income then we all stayed because that promise was made true. I saw how my money grew and know that it would continue to do so in the next following years.

Way back I think that was 2013 I am looking for a side hustle online that will give me extra money and yeah I ended up on faucets as what most crypto enthusiasts are doing that time and yeah years after that I came to this forum and that is way better than doing faucets as payments on signature campaigns and Altcoin bounties are pretty decent in 2017 and that's when I earned good amount of money especially Bitcoin and now everytime I look at my transactions I feel like yeah I shouldn't have sold those Bitcoin I had before.

I stayed with Bitcoin because as years have passed by I learned things like it's potential as an investment asset and actually I like the idea of decentralization and stuff but with fluctuating fees holding it for long term would be the best way to avoid it.

That's really awesome, I'm really happy for you. I've seen OG's who have been in bitcoin for many years but they've had a hard time growing their wealth easily, there's an element of luck involved.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
Seeking an alternative source of income was what attracted me to Bitcoin. At first, I was introduced to some shitcoins which turned out to be Ponzi schemes. Many people lost money but I was lucky not to put in any money. I kept on searching until I was introduced to this forum by a friend. After reading and learning about Bitcoin, I was convinced that it was not like other pump-and-dump coins. I decided to remain in the crypto space because I discovered that Bitcoin is a reliable investment and has stood the test of time. I also decided to remain because of the privacy that Bitcoin offers. I have always wanted to keep my financial transactions secret and Bitcoin offers such privilege. Conventional bank workers have access to bank accounts and know how much a customer is worth. I prefer to keep my worth private for security reasons.

I'm sure the initial reason was almost the same, namely when we were looking for how to make money online, because maybe 10 years ago Bitcoin faucets were included in many online articles with the title making free money because at that time there were lots of faucets or also Paid To Click that paid with Bitcoin, but of course, it cannot be denied that at that time not many people expected that what was produced at that time would be of very high-value today, but what makes us stick with Bitcoin will vary, for me this is one of the savings that better than just putting money in the bank, even though the amount is not large, if you are patient and continue to save it, the value will increase, that is the reason that makes me stick with Bitcoin.

Covid-19 locked down brought me into bitcoin. Initially, I have heard about bitcoin in 2017, but because I had a means of income, I ignored it. When the lick down took place that was when I thought of looking for how to earn money online. Bitcoin was the first thing that hit my thought and I started making research.

Finally, I was able to know about this forum from someone which I was happy that I will be able to learn and know more about bitcoin. The potential of bitcoin after having the basic knowledge of bitcoin and this forum made me to stay, and be part of the bitcoin community.

No, BTC didn't bring me to Bitcoin in the first. I joined this bitcoin forum as a source of extra income when I was studying. But before that I have searched for various sources of income online even tried some sites in our country where we can earn our own domestic money by watching ads. Suddenly one day while going to computer class a friend of mine gave me an account but then I used to bounty on that account. I only did Bounty for about two to three years.

Then since the bounties were mostly scams ie mostly didn't pay I was not connected to this forum for long then joined again and started posting here. Since then, I have been slowly spending more time on this forum.
When doing the bounty I tried my best to earn bitcoins but couldn't. There was no other option but to buy bitcoins only with dollars.

Bitcoin was created to be a peer-to-peer currency, but most of the news about bitcoin that spreads on the internet is about its volatility and the profits it can generate. So I guess 99% of people are attracted to bitcoin's ability to generate profits. And what's kept people sticking with bitcoin so far is that people have really found what they need from bitcoin, which is profit and then privacy.

And you, why did you come to bitcoin? I guess profit is also what you are aiming for but I think once you have been in the market long enough and learn everything about bitcoin. You will see that bitcoin brings us more conveniences and benefits than just being a money-making tool.

I strongly agree with you, I have heard about it in the earliest days but at that time I was less than 10 years old so I didn't have the way to be able to go deeper into it but it made me curious about the world of virtual currencies. It wasn't until now that I got my first assistant job that I started to learn about the world of Bitcoin. I am eager to learn more about this fascinating world.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?

Not to burst the bubble but there's a lot of threads already about the same topic:

  • Why are you investing in Bitcoin? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3040159.0)
  • Why did you choose bitcoin? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2478289.0)
  • Why Do You Use Bitcoin? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4465.0)
  • What does BTC mean to you? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5484144.0)

But for majority, I think one reason is that we want financial freedom and that's why we are here. But it doesn't mean though that Bitcoin is going to be solution to all our problems, just saying.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin?
To be honest, Bitcointalk made me adopt Bitcoin eventually and it was possible because of the earning opportunity of the coin. I've known Bitcoin since 2013 (if I remember correctly), but I never adopted it then. By adoption, I mean buying and keeping it. But for usage, yes, I used it since then or a year after. But it was all about the buying and selling of the coin so that I could deposit it where it was accepted and withdraw it when needed.

However, Bitcointalk changed the narrative in 2022 when I started buying and HODLing it.

I stayed because the earning expectation which I adopted the coin for is positive.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
I learned about it from a close friend, and I was just interested in trying out a type of money that only exists in a digital form and is somehow worth more than the USD per coin (back then it fascinated me). To me, it was this forum and Bitcoin pretty much simultaneously, and that's still the case today. What made me stay is probably not something specific, but a combination of things. I got used to the forum, to this community. I really like that it's not as toxic as a lot of communities in social networks can be these days. And I also educated myself about a lot of economic matters over the years and learned to appreciate the sort of freedom Bitcoin represents and offers.

I have worked in finance as a financial advisor for nearly twenty years at this point.  I've worked very closely with many financial institutions and in particular I've worked with most all of the big banks.  I came to realize how corrupt banks were, and how bad the monetary policy was for most nations.  The decentralized aspect of bitcoin is what really caught my attention.  Putting the power back in the peoples hands was just such a very cool/new concept that it took off from there.

I found bitcoin roughly around 2013ish.

The idea of earning online is the number one reason why most of us know about bitcoin. Ever since we know about that, I don't think there are any of us who are not enjoying the grants(profits) bitcoin offers to its investors by learning how to apply a DCA strategy of investing in bitcoin

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin?
Good value, bitcoin is a good opportunity to earn real profit that is different from every other investment that claims to make investors to be rich very quick. The profit in bitcoin attracted me to it, even though then I didn't have much understanding about bitcoin but I just know it can earn me some profit.

I stayed because I saw good potentials in bitcoin and bitcoin is not what one should leave and go for any other coins because the potential that bitcoin has exceeds that of every other coins.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?

Just like a lot of other people in this thread, I was looking for ways to earn money online when I found faucets where we could claim free Bitcoin back then, the amount used to be low but it was at least something because Bitcoin's price was not this high at that time.

I stayed because I found it fascinating, I had never seen anything like Bitcoin before, I knew there were digital currencies like USD and EURO used online, but I never knew about cryptocurrencies and faucets introduced me to Bitcoin, and then Bitcoin and its features made me stay.

It was unfortunate for me to not have any funds back then to buy Bitcoin but I have been around since then, and I believe the experience and knowledge I have is enough for me, I have also made a lot of money from this industry, no doubt about that.

This is probably how most of us started for sure. When the initial price increase started, there were some early birds whose money skyrocketed and they had a lot of money, so they started to offer people bitcoin for work, and we started to accept it, for them it was like "free" money, specially considering it wasn't as easy to turn that into cash back in those days, and what we did was simply just work for it and made some money.

I started around 2013 as well and I made some money off this forum those days, and that is how I got my start. This is very important because it shows that if we spend bitcoin instead of just hold it, that way we would be getting a lot more people. Nowadays everyone just buys and holds, so it is not really spreading that much.

On the moment that i do make out some search about on how to make money then i do end up on having those kind of Hyips and ponzis back in the past on which playing around 2016-2017 on which there are tons of
such sites that been existing on where you would really be having those kind of interest because it is really just that easy money on dealing with those doublers and at the moment that i have lose too much
money on that particular time then this is the moment that i have dig in deeper about Bitcoin or crypto as a whole and i have zoom out and see the bigger picture on the things that im really that dealing on with.
Im thankful for that because if i havent seen those hyips then i have missed out on investing into Bitcoin and some top altcoins that i do have now that been holding up for so long.

You would really be able to appreciate on what decentralzation+anonymous+profit making thing in one place on which if you have done it on the right approach or path then this is something
that will really be that rewarding but of course it will really be always depending on how well you had made out yourself on making up such decisions.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
I was into alts first then got somehow into BTC as well. At first I thought BTC couldn't give me 2x in the short term so I skipped it but with time due to the signature campaigns my interest increased as I was saving most of the funds from these earnings in the form of BTC and with time they started to increase and now I am sitting at more than 2x which I am grateful to Allah.

Although there is not profit always in the market as loss exists too. So keep loss factor in mind as well. With time I was left with some savings and as I was earning in BTC I planned to kept those savings in the form of BTC and I was already familiar with the BTC potential that's why I kept my funds into BTC form and I also knew bull run was going to come in lesser than 8 months so I stick with BTC and it proved to be a good choice for me

With high profitability in bitcoin compared to others, it’s not surprising why people get hooked with it. Even myself,  I don’t see myself leaving this forum particularly bitcoin, as best things only happened in my life when I started focusing on bitcoin.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
a friend of mine. So what makes me still survive in crypto? Because I saw how his own success, which really has the potential, can be achieved by other people as long as they know how to do it when they enter the world of crypto, which is actually not just related to investment. However, there are indeed several parts that can be optimized to gain profits from this crypto space.

Yes, it is true that traveling in Crypto is very difficult, in fact several times it has made me disappointed and hopeless here. You can even look at last season's bearish portfolio which made prices drop a lot in a short time. Then, however, it is true with self-confidence and conditions on how to optimize it in this crypto world.

I would be honest and go straight to it, it’s certainly profits and nothing else. It’s hard to find potential investments that can guarantee us some good returns, but I found it in bitcoin. Although it would not happen in an instant, but if you know exactly what you are doing, you will definitely get into it and make good amount.

Also, what made me stay here is the realization that there’s a lot we can gain from bitcoin, and by learning from this forum as well, which taught me a lot about financial security and stability, I realized there’s more to it with bitcoin in the future, as long as you take your time working on it.

I would say economic hardship, because I was very broke and was almost hopeless, I asked a fried the step to wealth because to me then, and knowing the country I am in, opportunities are not equal for every one, and it is very difficult for anyone who is not born to rich parents who can help them, to really just become rich or even wealthy. I was interested to know a solution, and that brought me here.

Money, I will not lie, I started learninf and discoverinf bitcoin because of money, and as I remember I first do that when I was in my 1st year in college and from there I met my classmates that are expert when it comes to bitcoin or crypto currency and they know a lot of things that could make them extra income even they are just a student, thanks to them I have also given some opportunities to earn my own money and one of them is in bitcoin, from there I amazed how good bitcoin is so I continue exploring and learning bitcoin and even now I still do bitcoin for extra income or money, but I'm really thankful with bitcoin because it has given me a lot of opportunity and make me independent when it comes to financial. And now I look at bitcoin as a partner, and thanks to it, I could buy the things I want and need.

Wow, lucky you!
You were so lucky that you didn't lose your bitcoin before realising how precious it is. Some lose their bitcoin and after some years they will realise how precious what they lost is.
I have heard about bitcoin for long and I was encouraged to buy bitcoin by my friend who lives in UK. But due to high level of Ponzi scheme then, I missed out the opportunity of joining early enough. Even when I became more enlightened I couldn't join because of wrong mentoring. But since I started the bitcoin journey, I haven't lost carelessly again.

Pandemic. Or at least a few months before it at least. I needed ways/methods to earn money. Initially, I was hanging out in r/beermoney looking for methods shared by others, saw some posts about crypto stuff but I initially ignored it. Some of my friends though started recommending I do it as well, so there I did. I initially sold my holdings before the pandemic crash hit so luckily I didn't lose out much, went into crypto games (Axie) for the next couple of months and only after that did I come back to DCA in Bitcoin again. And well, I stayed cause I bought really low lol. And so far it's only been going up ever since, so only profit so far.

Can't really recall what made me get to know Bitcoin as its  been several years to be honest...

Maybe a gig that wanted to pay in BTC and ended up googling it and lead me to this forum...

Perphaps it would have been gambling and discovering a new currency to use there, or maybe it was a search to do with free money and ended up knowing faucets which lead to knowing Bitcoin...just too many endless ways how I got to know of BTC.

That's interesting to know. When you say "centralised digital currency," do you mean currencies like CBDC or which? In fact, I personally started learning about digital currency through the emergence of bitcoin, another crypto currency, and then the development of other forms of digital currency.

We can say that you still have everything ahead. Today's children are also learning about Bitcoin, but even now, I don't think their time has passed. We all come to our own time. I have known about Bitcoin since its inception; however, I did not think at that time that it would be as popular as we are seeing now. Several years passed when I came across this forum on the Internet, and only after reading a lot of information here did I begin to believe in Bitcoin. We can say that everything took a long time to learn, and I was skeptical, but now I can tell my children, whose age is close to yours, when you learn about Bitcoin and direct them in a more information-oriented direction.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
I needed to invest some money i got from a job i did then and the profit was really huge it wasn't the regular profits i do get often and i wanted where i could invest it and after which i will be able to get some profits from it passively and so i mentioned to one of my friends about my taught and he suggested bitcoin to me since i was looking at the long term so i quickly bought into the idea and then got to invest but before then i made sure he made known to me everything that i needed to know within the bitcoin space and the dynamics as well so i just had to make sure after that which he has show to me i went back on my on to further make some research after which i was able to get more knowledge on what bitcoin is all about and then i go to understand it better and till date I've got some bitcoin holdings of which i have benefited from and i can say for sure that there was never a point of regret venturing into  bitcoin because i didn't just depend on that which my friend has mentioned to me but i made sure i was able to further add to the knowledge i have gotten and for everything i was doin i knew better and my decisions were well informed because i had made sure to get additional knowledge to that which i had already to invest profitably and properly.

Initially I was introduced to a friend who was already familiar with Bitcoin, he said if I wanted to get Bitcoin I could work on one of the forums and platforms that held bounties first,
to this day I still persist in participating in bounties and airdrops, because I think hunting for crypto and bitcoin can make money and can help my family and partner's finances

If I'm not mistaken there is a thread where some members did an interview but I forgot the thread, it's about the first time knowing bitcoin.

Of course I came not by myself, behind it all there are friends who have known bitcoin for a long time until he said it was so profitable to invest in bitcoin that I was interested and learned more at the end now still surviving because it can produce and also still remain for HODL.

There are many true stories about bitcoin for the first time ... On social media platforms there is already a lot of education about this even starting from the basics, more people will know about bitcoin.

Hmm interesting, so you mean that there was no incident that happened with you that brought you here by any chance or intentionally, TBH honest most of the time this happens because of coincident as in my case i was worried about my pocket money then I started exploring different things and from there to here its a long story but I wasn't aware of the economics and financial markets but haha this effort of getting pocket money was one of my life's greatest change.

In a long journey, there are always many good and bad incidents and this makes a great story. Hehe, i know this is not a story-sharing thread, but form one's point of view it is.

Gaining Bitcoin is more likely getting a good amount of profits as well, as the value of every bitcoin is like a thousand folds of USD when converted. So obviously, we all come here for significant amount of profits, something that is hard to find when we only settle in our day job. Although the process how we get here varies, but still we end up with a common goal, that is to own bitcoin that will completely change our way of living.

Oh well, I guess your case was different since you were fostered in a second-world country; The whole story lies in-between the level of infrastructural inadequacies at the time... It was appalling! I had a cellphone, but it wasn't smart so all I could do was just flip by any documentaries about cryptocurrencies...
If everyone had a clear foresight of what this was gonna turn out, maybe we wouldn't have any Bitcoins left to be mined today... right?

I didnt get into Bitcoin because of some wild fantasy of lambos and mansions (though sure, that would be nice).  For me, it started with forex trading.  I was searching out new markets to expand my portfolio.  Thats when I discovered Bitcoin and this whole cryptocurrency universe.  It felt like entering the Wild West of finance - thrilling and risky, but I wanted to dig deeper and  this seemed like a completely new type of asset I had to wrap my head around.  Could these digital coins and blockchain technology fit into my trading plans somehow?  My curiosity was piqued so here I am.

it is a money opportunity and I stay until it is still there.
And I'm sure that the majority are of the same story and we can't deny the fact that even rich people invested in Bitcoin because of the profit potential and these people will remain as long as it is still profitable.

Bitcoin is not a scam nor a Ponzi Scheme game, people must know it and see what it changes in their lives.

The idea of earning online is the number one reason why most of us know about bitcoin. Ever since we know about that, I don't think there are any of us who are not enjoying the grants(profits) bitcoin offers to its investors by learning how to apply a DCA strategy of investing in bitcoin
Yes, I have to agree with you. With the inflation that we are currently facing, settling into a single source of income is never reliable at all, that’s when I decide to explore online opportunities to earn and gain, and that’s where I saw bitcoin that is being hyped. Although I have to admit that my first impression on bitcoin is just another ponzi scheme, but after in-depth research and studies, I learned that bitcoin is far from my assumption. And that’s when I started knowing about this forum from a friend of mine where all my fears and hesitations have been cleared up and finally trusted bitcoin.

It was fun when I first knew Bitcoin from the faucet. I had no idea what Bitcoin was and just playing with the faucet. Until finally I found an exchange that could help me to traded Bitcoin and I could sell it for fiat.

At that time I didn't believed it but I continued playing the faucet and I was able to gets more capital which I used for trading. Until finally crypto grew rapidly and became popular so I could get more coins to traded. From there I try to continue to increased the number of Bitcoins I have.

I persist because I believe Bitcoin is a way to change my life. I've got it, although not much, but I'm still trying. Until now I am still trying to have more Bitcoins.

Faucets in the early days are worth joining with but now, they are just a waste of time. Maybe there are a few left working but the majority seem to be scams. One reason why people are not interested in this anymore.

In past years, doubts were certainly on our minds, and only a few had the guts to take risk buying but now, that is kinda be witnessing the growing demand which is an indication that more and more people have opened their minds to accepting the reality that bitcoin is a good investment, not a waste of money like other people are saying. Perhaps, it is proven wise and this is how it attracts more people because it is known and bold to us how profitable it is when managed carefully.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
I first learned about crypto when I joined an airdrop group, because at that time many of my friends were looking for coins from airdrops. Well, after I joined the group, I indirectly had to study crypto more broadly, so I discovered that the mother of all coins is Bitcoin, which is why I was interested in studying Bitcoin more deeply. Not long after, my friend introduced me to this forum to study Bitcoin, because in this forum we studied Bitcoin completely and it has a lot of history.

As time went by, I started to be interested in bitcoin until now, this keeps me going because bitcoin is an asset of the future and many people have successfully invested in bitcoin. The history of Bitcoin over the years also makes me believe that bitcoin is a good investment. Although I discovered Bitcoin late and have not been as successful as others, I believe investing in Bitcoin will allow me to achieve financial freedom one day.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
I guess that 99% of all bitcoin users (this is not statistics) are drawn into this industry by greed, namely, to invest $1 and take back $2 (x3, x4 and so on). The rest, 1% (approximately) are interested in the technology itself. Over time, more people (out of 99%) become interested in the technical part. But still, initially, people are attracted by the explosive increase in the price of bitcoin. This is my opinion.

The reason for me to stay was the opportunities that bitcoin provides (one of which is financial freedom) and the fact that I don't know any more attractive financial instruments (that meet my needs).

A lot of us are using BTC today because someone introduced it to us as something we could make money from, even if that narrative isn't true in every case, i am happy someone told me that.

Coming into the network and having the desire to find out more about it will change that narrative and that is what happened, it is great to discover the real purpose why BTC was created, to be a censorship resistant and decentralized currency, one that is totally free of any central control, in order words, what initially brought you to the network shouldn't stop you from understanding its true purpose.

I'm also pretty sure that most of us started with bitcoin because of its profits. But what makes many people still stick with bitcoin to this day is not only because of the profits but also because of the many other benefits that bitcoin brings.

I don't deny that I was attracted to bitcoin's volatility in my early days in the market. But after spending some time researching bitcoin, I realized that bitcoin was providing many use cases that I desperately needed. Ignore the profit factor because this is what we all want, not just me. What interests me the most is that bitcoin has made me my own bank and I have full control over my assets, and this is my favorite use case when it comes to bitcoin. I don't hate banks, but I have never felt secure depositing much money in the bank or storing too much cash, and bitcoin has helped me solve my long-standing problem.

everyone have different objectives that brought them into cryptocurrency investment, why some persons go into bitcoin is due to they love its kind of investment.
Cryptocurrency investments myself while I joined this cryptocurrency mostly Bitcoin is because the investment don't really have a third party, it's you that will monitor your investment properly, so therefore I believe that the investment of Bitcoin is something that will give you comfort to stay in cryptocurrency investment if you understand the concept and also make a profit for the first trip of the investment.

As anyone knows, having bad payment processors is probably a great reason to start in the crypto world, it is usually quite important because we are talking about something that's a little bit more important there. I know that not everyone will think the same way, but that is just the way it is. I had trouble getting paid, and I was looking for work and that's how I found here.

Few people had some stuff they want someone to do, and I said ok, and I got paid easily and that was the end of the story for me. Never been back to fiat ever since, I have been earning my income for about 7 or so years I think, not sure exact date when I started because at the start I gave big breaks, but it has been quite long time since that happened for sure.

Yes, almost everyone learns about Bitcoin from their relatives or closest friends, I was also taught it through my closest friends. You also have a very similar storyline to what I experienced. My friend said that you could make money on this forum, but at that time I wasn't too interested because social media alone wasn't enough in terms of followers. BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
There is only one thing that brought me to bitcoin which i wouldn't lie about it, which is to become rich. I heard rumours that people who are into bitcoin are super rich. That triggered me to invest in Bitcoin, though I was sceptical about bitcoin when I invested in it, and didn't become rich as I was told I was not happy about it, and that led me to invest in shitcoin which was the worst of all because my money disappeared from wallet because all where rugpul. But I didn't stop there, I continued till I have learnt more important about bitcoin and the usefulness which all was learnt in this forum.

and what made you stay?
Staying is an understatement, you should have asked me what made me love and rely on it. For me Bitcoin is decentralized which means it is not controlled by any entity but through the blockchain. It save fiat against inflation when invested. It doesn't require and update or upgrade like a normal banking system which requires you to always com to fill forms and all that. It can last for as 100 years and above provided you have your pass phrase for those that uses Dex. but requires password and backup information for those using Cex which I wouldn't even advise anyone to keep there money in cex because Cex may shut down one day just like the rest of them that was hacked.

I got into Bitcoin when I needed to send across borders as there was FX restriction in my country. I tried several options but none was a success until someone suggested Bitcoin and behold it made the entire thing easier, cheaper and faster. Bitcoin actually helped me then and on many occasions, I have used Bitcoin to pay for goods and services across borders and for that I'm grateful. Now I have seen that holding Bitcoin is also another wonderful opportunity, it even make it more addictive for me, the reason I'm so passionate about Bitcoin.

Because as far as I remember, in the early days bitcoin was given out for free through faucets, games...it was even used as rewards for ponzi projects, HYIPs...I was quite surprised when some people said they were looking for a new payment method and were attracted to bitcoin because hardly any businesses were using bitcoin as a payment method at that time.

Even in these days, many businesses have used bitcoin as a payment method but most of the newbies to the market are also attracted because of the profit story of bitcoin, they didn't come to Bitcoin because of its benefits. Only those who have been in the market for a long time and have spent time learning about bitcoin will gradually become interested in its technology and use cases, and newbies will come for greed like we did.

I had the exact same situation. I needed to transfer money to another country, but in my state there is still a restriction on such operations due to sanctions. Crypto, of course, came to the rescue. I used not only Bitcoin, but also Litecoin for transactions. Everything went successfully. To this day, crypto helps me out in this way. I am glad that there is such an opportunity.

I can say one thing: crypto is definitely not about wealth. There is no need to be as naive as others. This is not the direction where you get huge amounts of money.

That's a very wise choice, as a newbie alone it's easy to fall into the scammer's sayings, it will be much easier if you have someone with experience to lead the way.

Greed is human nature. It drives us to construct skyscrapers, launch rockets to Mars, and gets us in Bitcoin. Who doesnt like money?  But Bitcoin goes beyond getting rich quick. Its a new money system that empowers people rather than huge banks and unscrupulous politicians. Thats huge, friends.

Perhaps you got Bitcoin after hearing about a guy who made millions from a few thousand dollars. But I'll bet you stayed because you started to understand what this technology really means. Your vision was a fairer, more transparent financial system open to anybody with an internet connection.

That does not eliminate risk. Crypto's volatility isnt for beginners. However, folks ready to learn, adapt, and accept this new technology can gain great advantages. Personal progress, future improvement, and financial gain. Let the haters call us greedy. We know better. We see the larger picture. We're pioneers, inventors, and risk-takers.

Profit.
I purchased Bitcoin because of the possibility of market price increase over the years and that simply means profit. I stayed and became still with my holdings because of profit as well. No big profit will be earned by a single night alone. Some people are even holding their investments for a decade or more because its market price has the potential and such capability to do so given that more countries, as time passes by, are recognizing and considering adoption of this technology in general.

However, Bitcoin is more known as a form of digital asset and not merely an alternative mode of payment for daily transactions. Some people find this idea negatively but personally, as long as people benefits from something despite on what way it is,  they're still good with its existence. This industry is still young and further development could take place in the future. Simply another reason to continue being involved on blockchain technology.

It was my brother and friend who brought me into bitcoin, but I didn't stay in the first instance because I couldn't understand anything about bitcoin back then. I didn't even have a smartphone back then. He asked me to invest in it that it has a wider potential to grow but I didn't even understand anything he was saying. But after much persuasion I invested. After about a month I asked him to give me my money and he sold it off and returned my money. Some years later I started hearing bitcoin being the talk of everyone in the neighborhood and how bitcoin is changing the narrative of money transaction. Funny enough my brother/friend has turned to a millionaire, according to him he never sold the bitcoin he bought for me back then. He was the person that refunded me and kept the bitcoin for himself. That was the moment I decided to go back to bitcoin and vowed never to leave again.
