But, according to my awareness, this will be the first casino to use the TON blockchain. I have a few questions regarding your casino.

1. Why use TON blockchain?
2. How will you handle congestion on TON as it will delay withdrawals?
3. Other than Telegram, will there be a website?

And so the Telegram game is still the latest hype as we have seen a lot of this kind of gaming as of lately.

Ultimate poker (as part of ultimate bet) had a huge scandal in the early 2010s when their software had a backdoor and some people were able to see all player's cards..
So your name is kind of tainted because of this.  :-\ I would consider a slight rebrand if it's not too late and not too expensive.

We are Ultimate Poker, not Ultimate Bet. Completely different brand.

Infact, a few years ago there was a brand in Las Vegas that launched as Ultimate Poker and closed their doors very early on into their endeavor.

We feel that the name will not affect the brand whatsoever. Different Name, different Logo, different app and technology.

But isn't it hectic at all that you have to open your telegram account and then have to go through your app there? Whilst for having a website, you just simply input it and get directly to your casino. Or, it might be you have plans of launching your website soon together with your app?  Telegram mini-apps offers users a much better and swifter process as users do not have to register, share their email, password or any other private information to login. Similarly by integrating the TON wallet, transferring funds are seamless, both operations ie. Registration and Deposit/Withdrawals are done with a touch of a button.

I think for players wishing to play anonymously telegram mini-apps is a great alternative. Furthermore, the mini-app is not downloadable. You can play on any device desktop, mobile or tablet that supports the telegram app.

If i remember right, it was the same poker here about a month before. The result wasn`t great. I think it depends on telegram. It is not comfort to play in the telegram, when you can use different apps from PokerStart for example. Or at least the website for desktop gamblers.
But anyway - good luck, may be your version would be more interesting.

There are lots of successful casinos and pokers on telegram. Many were created a long time ago, it's made easier for some now due to the integration of wallets into the telegram application. Many crypto users spend lots of time on telegram already, so it's convenient to have your poker available there.

What matters is the amount of games offered, ease of withdrawal and protection of user privacy.

Mind to mention some of those successful casinos/poker on telegram? Do they have official ANN thread in this forum?
Ask about it because I've been in this forum and in this crypto gambling industry for years and still find it hard to see successful telegram based casinos.
Especially when it comes to specific game of poker, the fact is that there were so many failed web based poker sites during the past 10 years in this crypto gambling industry.
I myself still prefer web based casino than telegram based casino as it is still more comfortableand better to play casino games in a browser than telegram app.

Playgram is one of such successful casinos which operates on telegram, and their ANN thread is on the first page of the gambling board. I will rather not discuss competing services (pokers) on this thread, but with some search you can find a few.

That's fine, gamblers have preferences and it's good to have services for whatever each is looking for.

I think perhaps you don’t fully understand how some of these telegram applications work.
The Telegram mini-app are infact web based applications built on HTML5. Think of telegram as a gateway, much like Facebook-Connect. Allowing the user to register using their telegram login instead of full registration.

Ontop of which other applications can be synchronised into the poker app, like web3 wallets for immediate funding.

I agree with you that most telegram apps are rather simplistic and dont have a good UI/UX
We are doing things differently and hope to take this market by storm.

If you habe played on Pokerstars, GG, 888poker or any other reputable poker brand on mobile, i believe the experience will be very similar in UI/UX. Besides not having to download an app, or register the experience of playing will be very similar.

Desktop/Tablet mode: Absolutely! We are developing the game (or better put, already developed) to function natively on all devices including desktop and tablets of various sizes.

The logic here would be the same, login via Telegram, and instantly access the poker room auto-logged in.

Once logged in, youll have to choose a screen-name (as we dont want other users seeing your telegram handle name)

Other than that your in a very similar environment as any of the big poker brands out there

I can't say I like them very much, but they are not too bad either. Both are similar, they lack some features... they are still far from desktop poker apps in my opinion. Try it and you will see what it's all about.

And that's why I think that many of you guys are going to come by then.
I see that despite that there will be a desktop client, you will still redirect your users going to the telegram app. If that's how it is going to be to your progress and development, good luck. Because there are not that much poker-focused tables that have been seen here.

OP I had to check of your telegram poker player is set already but I could not access it. Possibly your beta test is still on as I could not find it rather the community group were what i could see. However,  However, I came across a post you made on your official thread about identity where you put passport. I would advise you put KYC there instead of using passport because most gamblers can not are not clear with the word but KYC is well known by them and they can relate very well with it.

Lastly, you can make post of your beta test on the service board so it could be visible to members who deem it fit to participate in.

So firstly, to address KYC and withdrawals. User anonymity in Poker is one of our founding principles. Players registering to any online casino room using crypto as a form of payment typically prefer NOT to disclose their personal information and with good reason. Therefore its a founding block for us. You autologin to the software using your telegram creds without disclosing your name, email or phone number. Login is done using telegrams API. Additionally, besides the only small hurdle of having a balance of $50 in your account to withdraw, you will be able too without admin interference. In all honesty we didnt even want that $50 min threshold, but because of freerolls and other promos we have to uphold some kind of minimum.

Lets talk security:

If you scroll up just a tad or join our telegram group we go through a thorough explanation of how we combat fraud, bots and player collusion.

In just a word, i can tell you that we use one of the most sophisticated RNG (Random Number Generator) a crypto based card shuffler for fair game. We use high tech captch solvers inside the app that eliminates the use of bots. Also people that use multiple bots dont have it easy with us as it means they will need multiple phone numbers on several devices to make that even work.

Just like other casinos here, I only found out about this thread when they launched their signature campaign here on Bitcointalk. I just know about your site and this thread because of your current signature campaign.

Anyway, aside from the signature campaign here on Bitcointalk do you have any other plans for Bitcointalk  such as contests, exclusive promos or freerolls for the Bitcointalk community? There have been a few poker/casino platforms that have hosted tournaments here and so far they've been okay. I hope you do the same.

You can check the games and round board for some contest and tournament ideas.

There are many ideas that can be offered to newly launched casinos, but let them do it gradually without being reckless even if your suggestions are also useful. Market competition between casinos is tough, but the most important thing for new casinos is to try to survive as long as possible and run promotions within budget. Over time, if the casino grows stronger, they can increase the promotional budget and try some other promotional ideas including contests and others.

I’m afraid you’re looking at the UI/UX design of the poker room, not the actual app. The numbers there are just placeholders. The Jackpot in question is a Bad Beat Jackpot, where a player with Quads looses to a straight flush. There are several conditions to meet to get the Jackpot paid out, like having a minimum of 6 players on the table and where both players are holding 2 cards in their hand to complete the Quads and Straight Flush.

The bad beat Jackpot will be available on some of the higher blinds on Hold’em tables only.

More details will be disclosed on all promos towards the launch here on Bitcointalk and also on our official channel on telegram.

By the way, there is some doubt about these apps or natives built Telegram casino or poker services which claim they are completely free from Know your client processes.
In theory, Telegram allows their users to chat with strangers and hide our telephone numbers to others by an option in the settings, however as far as I know, that is an option which is not enabled by default, so someone who is running a service like this one could have access to that personal information about the player/gambler. Am I right?

It would take someone to enable the privacy option on their telegram account for them not to show their number.

Also, regardless how straightforward these applications are compared to whole casinos, should not there be some place to read the terms or service of these apps as well?

You touched on 2 separate issues in regards to keeping your identity anonymous.
So firstly, when it comes to telegram, when using the telegram API the phone number of users is not available. If a telegram mini-app needs additional user information, they will need to prompt the user within the telegram bot to disclose the information. Otherwise, your left with only the users telegram ID (username) and nothing else.

In regards to KYC, we do not require users to submit any form of KYC before or after deposits or withdrawals. The point is to be able to play completely anonymously with your telegram account. KYC procedures require much more than just a phone number. Users will need to identify with a passport, utility bill and in some cases additional information.

Terms of services: We are building a website for Ultimate Poker and all information will be disclosed there. We are building Ultimate Poker to be as transparent as possible.

The website is an absolute must if you are aiming for more user base than just the telegram ones which the true users of telegram who use also other apps will be ready to join the Ultimate Poker.The website raises more awareness than just the telegram app although I strongly believe that together both telegram app and website can drastically increase the user base and speaking of user base we all know how important is for a poker website or poker app to have as many users as possible in order to make a great experience for both owners of the business and both players.

Yes you won’t see it happening too often.
On big Poker sites like GGPoker and Pokerstars, a badbeat jackpot occurs roughly 2-3 times a year.

In regards to the website, I believe it will not be ready on launch. As most of the graphics from the app will only be available from next week, and we need to design the website according to the app.

I believe it will follow within 2 weeks after the launch.

The first month of launch, we are not marketing our brand to get deposits, rather looking for players to test our software with our freerolls which will be running 24/7.

Once we have our website ready with all the terms and condition, so players can feel comfortable to deposit, only then will we actively gear up marketing, with heavy attention on PR on poker, casino and crypto portals.

This is fine, during the launch, I believe that the telegram app will be good and reliable.
I agree with what you said about having a website and players can feel comfortable about the legitimacy of the platform especially since this is a telegram app, some people won't mind also the website again.

Question:
There are already some telegram apps that you can play and most of them just seem embedded via HTML, so, is the ultimatepoker will be different from others? like improved UI? As I saw in the first post I assume it is a screenshot of the actual app, it seems to have a good UI.

I'm guessing you haven't played anywhere near as many millions of hands as I have. I have seen it several times. Poker against straight flush, having poker on the flop and losing against top poker, straight flush against Royal straight flush... you name it, I've seen it.

The funny thing about this is that if you are at tables with players who think and have experience, they don't usually jam their whole stack just because they have a poker without thinking that according to the cards on the table the opponent may have a straight flush.

I have been playing poker since 2002 roughly. Ive seen Straight Flush vs Quads several times, but really not too often at all. I am not sure on the precise stats but I’m assuming (and again this is an assumption), to get:
Quads vs Straight Flush with both players holding both whole cards (one card is not counted) on a minimum 6 hand table (5 players will not win the jackpot), i believe the stats are close to 1 in 500M. To see Quads vs Straight flush where one or both players are holding only one card in their hand to complete th quads  or straight flush would happen 100x more often, and therefore players like yourself, with many hours on the table, over the course of many years will probably see this outcome more often.

If you have more refined stats, I’d be grateful if you would share them.

What I was getting at is that, roughly, if we take into account all the people who can play on pokerstars it seems to me that this bad beat will occur more frequently than the 2 or 3 times a year that you said in the previous message. But to know accurate data we should have data on total hands played by everyone there in a calendar year.

But even in Pokerstars or GG, not all tables and stakes have the badbeat feauture. The jackpot is inclusive only on Holdem, only cash games and only from stakes of $1-$2 and above (or something like that)…

So the number of hands played in total in the brand is less relevant, as only the hands within the tables with the feature enabled should be counted.

Its interesting. I just read an article that one player on GG won the badbeat 3 times!
So perhaps i was over-estimating it ☺️

Never really played Poker before but will be interested in trying it out when this gets launched. I wonder how more difficult it is for a player with very little experience to enjoy poker.

For me, I think during the launch, there are still some flaws with it but rest only assure that it will get fixed and improved from time to time. I'm sure they will do it, if they are serious about their chosen niche.

Not all websites are legit but also Telegram is having a bad name in regards to crypto and a lot are saying that there are lots of scammers here. Ultimate Poker is a telegram mini-app where users can auto-login to the poker software automatically using their telegram credentials. In basic terms, with a touch of a START NOW button in our telegram bot, the Poker application will open and autolog you in without having to register with an email, phone number, name etc.

The app is web based (html5) and will work on any device, provided that you have telegram on that device.

If you have played Hamster Combat,a well known mini-app on Telegram you should know that it is almost the same,except here there are some commands to start and there is no Play with one click,speaking of which I would give a recommendation to the team here that in order to make the mini-app more user friendly you apply a "Play with 1 click" button to your app.This way would open more possibilities even to people that are not that up to date with Telegram technologies so far.

Yes! We are very familiar with the Hamster Kombat mini-app game and their very large success on telegram.
I believe I understand your concern with a simplistic PLAY NOW button in the game-bot rather than having several button options. Were looking into how to build the bot to make it as simple as possible to run, while also offering users a one click auto login where users can choose their preferred language within the software.

Its a great point you bring up especially for newer users to telegram mini-apps. And we will build the bot accordingly.

Is there any chance that we can withdraw this amount from the UltimatePoker? For example, can users withdraw immediately the $10 from UltimatePoker, or does it still need to be wagered first?

I think their post should be considered primarily as a marketing campaign that gives users a free trial of the app, not as a cash giveaway. In other words, if you get these free $10 poker chips, you will most likely only be able to use them in the app. I haven't seen the exact terms of use for these poker chips, but I doubt that UltimatePoker will allow users to withdraw these free chips because it's just not profitable for them.

I think interest in freerolls on bitcointalk will grow over time and you will need to keep going every week. If this is a one-time event, then I think a lot of bitcointalk users will missed the freerolls on the X platform too. Many users are definitely waiting for it and I hope this event is not just a one-time event on Bitcointalk. I really believe that something that is free can attract the interest of many users, so this idea is definitely a good and useful one for those who want to get to know your casino.

More free stuff = more engagement therefore, it will attract new users here in the forum. In this case, more freerolls would be better for the casino as it will create an excitement towards the community and it will encourage users to return and play on a daily or weekly basis.

More engagement = more chances of establishing a loyal user base because many here always find free stuffs like the freerolls. It will be beneficial for the casino to have this consistently.

Earlier, some poker rooms held freeroll tournaments for the users of this forum, and it's worth noting that it really attracted attention. So, I think it's a good idea, especially if you plan to do it weekly. The only wish is to choose a time when the most number of participants can be online. There were already some cases when many users were sitting out during a tournament because it started late in their time zone.

Well the only time I played during the free rolls this past 10 days in August there I didn't notice anything wrong regarding the game software, which for me is a very good thing compared to other providers like Stake which uses a third party provider and let me tell me how truly F*CKED up that software is, I have lost way to many times having 2 aces and going all in against a single person without any cards on table showing, something has not happened to me here in the software they use in here, I can understand that you can lose one or two times with 2 aces going all in against someone but I can never understand how can you lose so many times in a row when you have the best pair of cards starting the hand.

For data security and other related settings the Ultimate Poker can answer better than me as they know what they are doing.

I think it's great to have some freerolls, but if you wish to keep players on the site you need to make it interesting for poker players. The thing is that many people will play freerolls, but only a few will stay after that... Just take a look at Stake poker, a recent example.

Every beginning is difficult, I hope you will deal with everything on the way and make a good poker place... We definitely need a good crypto poker place. Well, good luck, and see you at the tables.

Bonuses and freerolls are attractive and does the job of bringing some potential new players, the quality of the poker service will keep those players after the bonus or freeroll. Some will be there solely for freebies but there are some users to be filtered out of the whole, rate of conversion of those users from visitors to players is important for the success of a the platform.

The last message was sent on Monday, so we should be expecting the announcement on the launch date next week. I'm also hopeful you're right that they're busy behind the scenes developing the software and do not want to share an update till there's something important to announce.

Ultimate Poker is going forward full speed, absolutely nothing to worry about. However our dev team is requiring more time to thoroughly QA the entire software and functionality. Our UI/UX team has also more work to complete on several minor issues, but as stated on the channel a launch date will be set soon, hopefully on Monday or Tuesday an announcement will be made.

We did not anticipate a delay, however building a software and design from the bottom up and ensuring that telegram API is working correctly may cause some delay

So my apologies for that.

On another note, we have very positive feedback from our internal testers. Ultimate Poker will be the first fully-fledged poker software running on telegram mini-apps.

By the way, I just noticed that your app is available only from the mobile version of Telegram. Do you have any plans to make it available through the desktop version as well?

I can see there's one just completed and another coming up in about 10 minutes, although I can't enter that one now. Ultimate Poker really is providing lots of opportunities for playyers to get in and try out the gaming experience.

Same question as this. A desktop version is important, as lots I users access telegram through that. Anyone who has a desktop likely has telegram on mobile, but it helps to be able to access it from both.

Were working on completing the desktop version.
Once complete, youll be able to login via desktop to the mini-app for a much better gaming experience.
Most pros and players that sit for hours prefer desktop.

I don't know if it's just me or not, but the interface in the hand history tab is incorrectly displayed. As you can see from the screenshot, the cards overlap information such as date, hand ID, pot, and combination.
