Title: Who was in charge of stabilisation!?
Post by: zby on December 19, 2011, 01:02:03 PM
Where are the self-assigned stabilizers now?  I tried moving my asks in an orderly retreat - but I had no chance in the face of an attack with this volume.

You could be back in the clear soon.

I dampened it a little, but no way I can touch that volume.

ayee, its slowly come back down to about 3.48 after a few small cash-outs.  I'd imagine there are some around looking to get cashed out who are not speculators. I'd speculate it holds at 3.35 for atleast a week and may even move up from there. Barring any large margins getting pulled. ;p

*yawn* You guys are speculating about a few bitcents change in price. Wake me up when Bitcoin is at least in double digits.

At this price the percentage gained from cents is quite big. From $2 - $4 is a double, that is the same as $10-$20, or $15-$30
From $3 - $4 is 50%

Whoa there! Please check your math.

I do, however, believe that we are in a strong rally.  There might be a correction coming soon, but I can see $4, $5 and even $6 in January.

There's a decent size pile starting to build up north of $4 now. The correction may be a while off.

Wow... having to eat my words already.  $5 coming before New Year's and $6 in January.  :)

Looks like those stabilizers need to hack a couple of exchanges, as nothing brings the price of BTC down like news of a major hack.

TradeHill-USD still hasn't caught up to MGX and the other exchanges are all over the place. So, $5 by the end of the day?  ???
