Title: Trust Flag bug?
Post by: logfiles on July 07, 2024, 11:29:47 PM
This member (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=878630) is not on DT according to my understanding, but one of the flags he opened (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2772) with no support from any other DT member is active (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3345594) (though it should be inactive due to insufficient support). Can someone please help point out what's going on?

I am not disputing the flag. I am just pointing out an anomaly that could be with other flags we haven't discovered yet.

Yes, it should be not active anymore, as inactive flag or no support flags should expires in 3 years as per my knowledge (i might be wrong about the type of flags though)

It's active for you because you have a non-default trust list.
I can see it as active too but i dont have this user in my trust list. Or this will also work if one of my trust list includes this user?

That's a "newbie warning / type-1" flag, which requires only 1 net supporter. But TheUltraElite is not currently in DT, so the flag is not active by default. It's active for you because you have a non-default trust list.

This applies only to type 2 and type 3. Type one doesn't expire

That now makes sense.

Edit:

Or this will also work if one of my trust list includes this user?
Yeah, one of the members in your trust network has the user included in their trust list, and it's none other than the admin   ;)
