Title: Withdraw your funds now on Maverick Games
Post by: Coin_trader on July 10, 2024, 02:03:57 PM
I’m not fully aware about their closure since I rarely visit their website. I use this website few years ago due to their promotion and I forgot some Bitcoin in there which is already have good value now.

I just received today the email about their closure since I rarely open an email from casino  due to tons of the, already spamming my email.

The closure will be on July 15 which is only 5 days from now. I created this thread to make an awareness since their ANN thread is not that active while it’s easy to catch an attention with this thread title.

Thanks for the update and I am sure those who had account over there already received same mail from the team, to me it would be better if this post is being discussed over there Ann. Besides I haven't come across that here maybe I will say is my bad for not coming across it here. But still I know people regularly visit here so they could catch it up except for those who are too lazy to open their mails, 15 is just few days now and the information is coming very late. Why not they informed people last month about their closure there are people who are not that active online how could the get this information about their sudden shutdown.

I’m not familiar with Maverick games. They are not popular with gambling community here.

Since you’re topic is very helpful I think it could be beneficial towards people who are affected by this. Is there any information in the email regarding the closure that they have? What is recent? Is it just because they are low funds or something?

They do send email last month based on other user comment on the ANN thread but I personally don’t received it. They made a post too on their ANN thread last June 25 which you can found here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5435912.msg64253648#msg64253648.

But just like I said above, The ANN thread has less activity so it’s just being flooded easily. It’s easier to notice this important announcement this way through the title.

Most probably not profitable anymore since they are struggling even before to attract customers due to their strict KYC implementation which is mandatory upon registration if you want to play most of their games and participate on promotion. This is the last info I get before I stop visiting this casino.

I think late information is another way to do away with customers funds that did not get this information within the short period of time that it was given to customers for withdrawal of funds.

I don't think that the shutdown plan of the casino came up urgently and they must have discussed on it for long. Which is the reason why early information was supposed to be given to their customers. I feel for those who will not see this notice.

Thanks for this information. But it is good to have the email account that you used to open a gambling site with you and receiving message on it. I guess the gambling site would have sent the notification through email to their users.

I have not used the site before. There are well trustworthy sites that I am using like Livecasino and Stake. I have the email that I used to register my account on the sites which can be used to receive email messages of anything necessary that the gambling sites wants to pass across to their users.

Hey everyone!

As you've noted, we're taking a little break from running Maverick Games -- we have some other exciting projects in the works and we hope to be back soon!

In the meantime, please withdraw any remaining funds by July 15th.

Thanks for raising your concerns about people not reading their emails -- we'll send another reminder, and I hope the clear subject line helps. It's always been really important to us to run a site that's fair and transparent, and that doesn't stop now!

Thanks so much for being along for the ride. You'll always be Mavericks to me!

Anna
On June 25 2024, they announced in the thread that we must immediately withdraw the balance before the specified date. I have never had any contact with the casino but your thread does draw attention to the fact that people who have balances in it need to take withdrawal actions. In this case, Maverick Games has taken preventative action by providing warnings and preventing unwanted things in the future, both in the ANN thread and sending users via email, but it is true that emails are full of piles of spam so they are easily buried with other messages.

Thanks for information,I think the remaining 1 week is enough for all users to withdraw their balance, but if they don't then MaverickGames has a strong reason.

Such a way to give value to their customers with a sufficient prior notice  not rug pulling with their money as they are about to wind down business. Very disturbing how on one hand this development would be sending all their workers back into the labour market to add to the timid number there. Scary economical times we living.

Yeah it's really bad for casino to ask KYC upon registration, some people can still accept to verify their phone number, but if they ask to submit ID card or something is a big no no. Is there any active and popular crypto casino with strict KYC? I don't think there's any.

I know this casino because @Dewi Aries was wear signature about this casino and he actively posting in the ANN thread, since he no longer wear the signature, so yeah possibly they run out of funds.

I also just got the email, actually it's a shame that their site will stop operating or maybe they really want to build a new business so they have to close their site so quickly, I used to be active on their site to take part in poker tournament promotions when they first launched the site they are on this forum and I tried to participate there, but after there was a change in regulations it was mandatory for all users to make deposits using the ETH network. Of course this was a problem for me because the ETH network was very expensive, I had asked them to open another network to make transactions much easier but they had not fulfilled it. That.

But after some time I heard from their thread that they will close their site and stop operating, it's very unfortunate, but whatever it is this thread seems important also for users who may still leave their money on their site, sometimes not many of them pay attention to threads or emails them, so they are often late in claiming their money at the end of the day, hopefully this thread helps any user of their site who is active on this forum to immediately withdraw their money from this site.

This update of yours may save many people from scams.  But to be honest I don't know much about this site and I have never used this site and I don't have any funds here.  But many people can use it so this news will be very useful for them.
You can open a topic on Reputation about it and it would be appreciated if you did already

Trust and reputation matter a lot to those who care about running a smooth business. They will also want to give their customers their best, as long as their service exists.

There are some companies that could have just vanished without notice, and customer funds will be missing without giving them prior notice to claim up whatever they might have forgotten.

It's good Maverick made the decision to reach out; it will also add to their credibility, and when they are ready to come back, the public will be happy to use their service again.

Scam how? Maverick games did send an email to all their customers so all those that have working emails should be able to receive this update and also made an announcement in their thread here in Bitcointalk after a user brought it up. If they wanted to scam they would have done it quietly - they won’t even bother with the mail or even give a date for users to withdraw their funds from their site.

I also think this is the best board for this thread since it’s just to notify gamblers or those that haven’t visited their thread since about the closure.

P.s. they have the notice at the header of their site.

I have never used the gambling site but it is a good reminder for people who are not active on the casino but still have funds on it.

I remember last month someone posted that the gambling site would soon close, the guy was looking for another sportsbook that is using the same odds provider as Maverick Games. anyway, if anyone is curious what odds provider Maverick Games is using, it's pinnacle solution.

There could be pressure from the government to stop operation, maybe there are a restrictions from the region they're operating from in running this kind of business or new law in place, However on the other hand, This platform has done well in notifying its clients about their closure of business, and that will mean well for their business should they decide to come back into operation sometime in the future, this will have created a kind reputation in their running of business for them, unlike those platforms that will have their business closed without even letting their customers know about it, and they will go thin air with people's money.

It is refreshing to see a platform that gives users enough heads up to take out their funds before the site closes down. It is fair to assume that most people with a significant amount will keep tabs with the email and the memo here. There will be few in your situation who have not used it for a while and have some amount there, hopefully they come across one of the memos which should be sent across their social platforms.

I doubt it's pressure from the government or something related. They probably didn't earn well enough to continue staying afloat as op himself mentioned above which is usually the case with lesser known crypto gambling sites.

Also, they most probably won't return in the future since they learnt a harsh lesson about how competitive the crypto gambling world is these days.

It is nice you have put up this thread for all to see. You say that the announcement thread is not as active as it used to be meaning that not many visitors there so nobody would get this update if not here which you have done and the title is very captivating that anyone who sees it would click to read more of it. As for the mail things, this is why I always prefer to use email because of things like this so that I do not miss out when an update comes from them. If I may ask the OP, did they state the reasons behind their closure? Sorry for the question I am curious to know what happened because I believe it is far beyond strict KYC measures about them that scare gamblers away from them.

No KYC is some luxury most  cryptocurrency enthusiast desires of the platforms or gambling sites they do patronize. After all, this is some of the advantage cryptocurrency holds and with it been the bases to some of the many cryptocurrency based gambling facilities, having a strict KYC policy could result in low patronage for sure.

Also, they most probably won't return in the future since they learnt a harsh lesson about how competitive the crypto gambling world is these days.
It’s only advisable with the mails going round that users haven’t gone through KYC from a previous time and those looking to do so, consider their options based on what holdings they’ve got and look for a more reliable Casino or Sportsbook to play at.

There is a couple of reliable gambling sites on here, like Stakes.com, Spinarium.com, Sportsbet.io, Deulbits.com and a couple of others. You’ll fine fair odds as well but, ensure to DYOR as well.

Rarly hard of that casino in here but then you have done well to inform the community about their closure I am sure you were able to withdraw your balance since you left the account inactive and you said you hard a few bulk in there that have generated good value.

I believe those that have account on maverick will by now withdraw they remaining balance or keeping the last date in mind in other not to lose their money, one thing that excited me about this situation is that, the casino gave the clients enough time to withdraw they funds from the casino before their closer.

I think they've established a good reputation already in this community, so I'm not surprised that they made aware of their intentions through their ANN thread and the OP posted it here for those who are not aware of.

And just like before, I think they will come back and will have a brand new name again, they used to be btb88 then Maverick Games.

I guess that their shutting down must be due to their strict regulations on KYC and their customers started to loose interest in their gambling services like the OP did. The OP didn't complain about them being a scam casino when he was gambling in their site so their planned closure could not be because of bad reputation, most probably they're not making profit anymore.

I commend Maverick games for giving notifications to their customers to withdraw their funds before their closure. I also thank the OP for starting a thread on it to disseminate the information so that gamblers that have funds with them and are not aware of the information will take note and do the needful.

Well, at least they announced the closure, even though when it's not really a long time in advance.
Other casinos would have take the closure as an opportunity to scam their players, like for example betnomi did their players super dirty.
I wonder why they are closing, casino and sports betting is such a lucrative business once you have a site running and accumulated a certain player base.
Maybe they were just too small, I for example have never had any interaction with this site, and I know plenty.

I'm not really sure that why they are ending their casino but I'm pretty sure that they might be having difficulty to run the site and it might not be profitable for them at all. Those casinos make profit when they have 100's of thousands of players to millions of players and if a casino like Maverick Games doesn't have enough active players then instead of making any profits they might makes losses or have to pay their employees out of their own pockets. In such conditions a genuine casino closes its service and gives money of the players while a scam one just exit by looting the money of the players, similar to what Betnomi did with its players.

This is a good update, thanks, though I do not have an account with them but I feel for those who will lose their money if they don't move it out at the stipulated time. A thing like this had happened to me before, so I know how it hurts. I also hope casinos can stop needless info, it may be annoying at times. The spamming of one's email is one thing I do fear in opening too many casino accounts, I've learnt my lesson, which is why I make sure that I block the ones I do not use anymore or have a single dime in to avoid me losing vital information from the ones is have money with.

By the way, were you able to withdraw your money? I asked because departing establishments like this may play funny at times, they may pay some and not pay others.

I'm aware of their closure, but it's nice that you created this thread to inform those who haven't read their email and have not visited their ANN thread. Well, I'm happy for you that you were able to withdraw your bitcoin before the site officially closed. This thread is actually very helpful for those who have kept their crypto on that specific site so they'll be able to withdraw it on time. I don't understand why they closed; I believe they were a good site as I really liked their odds. It seems like they lacked marketing and did not reach the expected audience?

Great information, @OP. I feel bad that they can no longer keep up with their service and have had to close. At least this topic will also create more awareness among those who are using the casino but are not aware of its closure. I have heard about the casino only in someone's comment, but I have not used the casino, but I think they also did well to inform customers about their closure of service via email. If it were some bad company, they would not make an announcement but would just close.

Thanks very much for the update bud, I believe that the users of this casino who are on this forum; and possibly have missed the closure email they sent will mostly be grateful to you for such a vital information..

I am not a user of this casino, but I sure have seen that name around on the internet on different places, and I guess this forum is one of such places.
My concern and curiosity Is drawn to their closure date, when was this closure email sent really? And why has rhey made the closure so sudden, and didnt even leave enough room of time for their users? I mean announcing a closure of a average big casino and leaving just 5 days deadline for customers to take action is very scammy if you ask me, how about those that must have gone offline and hoping to return in about a month or two, what happens to the balance on their accounts?

I received the email on the same date I created this thread. They said that they sent email last month while other user confirmed it on thread but I honestly doesn’t received anything.

I decided to create this thread for the purpose of informing user like me that doesn’t aware of their closure but have funds in the casino since some user on this casino is probably not active anymore since this casino doesn’t offer any good promotion lately.

Last 2 days until the closure.

okay.. let's get this straight; they sent you a email about their closure? That's the cutest thing I've ever heard! What you had left in there wasn't much, but if it vanished into thin air, you'd regret still.
On the other hand, it's sad and devastating for them to run bankrupt and decide to fold up... The struggle just to create a brand, with everything wasted on the domain and website all gone. [I haven't even seen 'em anywhere before]
