In this forum you will get hundreds of people making the most outlandish claims, just like the one you just made. The usual problem is the same as you have here: there is not proof whatsoever of the claim.  Being a "newby" you do not even have the credibility of a veteran user that has a reputation and a posting history, so this, as it is, equals to zero.

Ignoring the right for a second, when we consider some of the crazy stuff that the USSS's been doing, I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.

But naturally, I am very skeptical of your claims.

I could have just believed this assuming the account used in posting this was not a newbie account, then it will be more evident that the poster of this thread is the actual Jonathan Willis, but in this case, there is nothing to proof on this, moreover, here is bitcointalk, i think he should be able to convince the public more on the other social media platforms than here where what we mostly focuses on is bitcoin discussion, things like this without any proof may be like a waste of time.

I believe this about as much as I believe the OP.

I am not sure what the SS procedures are, or what exactly happened in the minutes before the assassination attempt, but I don't think those involved are going to be going around on a bunch of internet forums to tell their story.

THE FACTS: Following Saturday’s attempt on Trump’s life, a poster on the online message board 4chan wrote that they were a sniper assigned to the rally, and that they can be seen in a photo of two law enforcement officers on the roof at the rally.

“My name is Jonathan Willis,” the poster wrote. “I came here to inform the public that I had the assassin in my sights for at least 3 minutes, but the head of the secret service refused to give the order to take out the perp. 100% the top brass prevented me from killing the assassin before he took the shots at president Trump,” the post claimed.

But there is no agent or officer by the name of Jonathan Willis working for the Secret Service or the Butler police, and no internet records of such an officer could be located.

The annoying thing is that the claim came in through an anonymous source who is obviously afraid to show his brave self by making this claim through his official account so he can be celebrated as an hero.

From the little i know, in a dearing situation as that when someone poses a direct threat to the former president of a nation and is even seen with a riffle pointed towards the angle of Trump, isn't it always a direct case where you shoot him down immediately without even waiting for an order to do so? Does the issue of obeying order come into play in this instance of direct threat to the former president? Alot of conspiracy theories be flying here and there and I'm just certain this is just another person trying to gain attention and relevance from the media.

This is 1 min more than the SS officer, and was done from my house in Edmonton, AB - 3.3 Mm away!  I chose not to act as no one has ever made a successful shot from that distance (3.3 Mm = 3,300 Km = 2050 miles)

Moreover, you don't expect him to shoot the person just because he saw someone pointing gun at the direction of the president cause he can't actually tell for sure if the person is an assassin or not and he can't also tell if person wants to eliminate the president or not I mean what if is the president that ask the person to come and monitor some... , So I think this person really needs order before executing
