Title: XAI presale (Presalexai.com) is a Scam
Post by: ContentWriter on July 18, 2024, 12:51:51 AM
What happened:

I saw a post of someone complaining they sent $1800 in USDT to this site, but they said they don't accept USDT. Whoever is behind this presale asked the investor to send ETH under the pretext that USDT wasn't accepted by the presale. They also claimed that the funds would be returned within 7 hours. So far, the XAI presale team has not returned the deposit. They're promoting the token, claiming investors could make 100X.

Another victim wrote they were lured to invest because influencers were promoting the presle.

Some evidence to support your claims would be helpful, beyond just sharing a link to their website and an explanation of what you saw. While we can't take any action like tagging&flagging since they are not advertising here, providing this information would allow people to form their own opinions on the matter.

With that being said, it looks like just another moneygrab copy/paste AI project.

This is indeed a new scam site, and it is 19 days old [WhoIs (https://www.whatsmydns.net/domain-age?q=Presalexai.com)]. As for xAI, it is a new company founded by Elon Musk in July 2023, and its official website is [This (https://x.ai/)] - [Twitter (https://x.com/xai)].

Considering the official company's Timeline (https://x.ai/about), they have not launched any tokens yet. All xAI projects and tokens with the ticker $xAI are not affiliated with Elon’s new company. They are just exploiting the hype, and many of them are trying to scam investors. Therefore, verifying official sources and conducting research is important to avoid falling victim to fake pre-sales and scam sites. Thanks, @OP.
