Weapons and guns and missiles are not just here for sure they Will be used.
But even If Will be small % of them used then it's danger all ready.
I mean look how many missiles are in the world and guns and other weapons the weapon sellers did not invest money in for nothing to build weapons and military equipment off course they want to sell and use atleast few weapons but even If only small % will be used the damage will be done huge.
Even If 1% will be used of USA china russia or UK eu weapons then it's huge damage allready.
And where will be the weapon sellers Will locate themselfes If their own weapons Will be used ? Interesting

It took me some time to understand some things you are explaining but it's all good, nice topic.

I agree that the reason why weapons and missiles are made is to be used. Like you said it is not for show but for war. The producers of these arms both government and private firms are business ventures that want to make a profit. The cost of disposing of expired weapons and equipment is expensive, so these producers will also seek where to dispose of these obsolete weapons. Some developed nations still want to expand their influence in the community of nations. For these reasons, war will never end.

War doesn't have any advantage because it brings only sorrow, destruction, and death. Sometimes I imagine how will Gaza and Ukraine be rebuilt. I am not considering the physical structures but the people. Many children have become Orphans and many of them will suffer from psychological, financial, and educational needs. It will also affect the health of people because of the effects of some chemical weapons or other unhealthy gases produced by other weapons. Many people will die and survivors will go through post-war trauma, it is never a good experience. The war in Ukraine and Gaza is a clear picture of the effect of war which is why we should all promote peace instead of war.

That's why proxy wars so they can destroy a lot military equipment so then new ones will be sent.
The point is not win or lose war the point is to destroy as much possible equipment so then you buy more and given the numbers how much there is equipments there is full warehouses stocked up of weapons that's why it's important to keep war in one place one small area or region to destroy a lot equipment.
I don't think wars will wide only few more proxy regions will be added where on the small land a lot equipment Will be destroyed in very short time period so that you need to order new ones.
That's why europe talking about starting weapons productions fast because they are behind from the usa of this the USA making main profit while europe is worried about they missing the profits that's why Europe Will fund fast now the military equipment production to start military equipments to sell them for profits becouse they don't want to be behind of USA right now most profit goes in this industry to USA and ursula Von leyden is worried about that Europe missing opportunity when wars started in middle East and ukraine the USA had allready stcked up the weapons to sell but Europe wasn't ready so much now Europe starting to change this they want to be also the weapons producer like UK and USA are.

The worst are of course nuclear weapons. I've seen interviews with scientists who explained the nuclear threat and basically they said that even if we used 10% of the global nuclear arsenal right now, we'd face nuclear winter and extinction just because we aren't ready to go underground for a few years. We'd run out of food and other resources, permanently lose a lot of species of plants and animals. We have much more weapons than it's required to wipe out the Earth and we still produce new ones.
