Title: Will catizen be as succesful as Notcoin?
Post by: DegenLite on July 24, 2024, 06:01:57 PM
Today we have another episode of Telegram mini games that might list soon. Ever since Notcoin went live, we've seen a huge number of TON ecosystem P2E mini games like memefi, blum, pixelverse and so many more. Hamster Kombat has already had a premarket on Bitget and Bybit and people still await their launch and TGE

Pixelverse launched just some weeks ago and the price is still looking promising, DOGS has a premarket too and now it turns out Catizen, the cat-based mini game, is also getting a pre-market which gives gamers the idea of a listing price and hope of it getting listed

What do you guys think of the recent P2E games popularity?

This [news (https://www.coinspeaker.com/durov-telegram-catizen-game-16m/)] indicates that Binance Labs is investing in the Catizen game, which earned $16 million from in-app purchases. The CEO of Telegram also praised the Catizen game, which achieved a base of 26M players and high earnings to the Telegram Ecosystem. According to the news, Catizen and Hamster coins are expected to be launched soon. Frankly, I don't know much about the other games you mentioned, OP.

As for the popularity of P2E games, according to what statistics indicate, they have achieved great popularity and huge communities, which may make Telegram reach a billion users by the end of this year, according to the Telegram CEO’s prediction. It is worth noting that with the widespread hype of these P2E games and their promise to reward users with free coins, many scammers have taken advantage of promoting fake websites and bots on Telegram to deceive the players, so caution must be taken.

No, Notcoin was successful because people wasn't aware or had doubts if a simple task like tapping is a game changer and now you have this clones doing the similar thing will just saturate the market and people are going to lose interest.

I'm expecting the launch of catizen and DOGS to be hype, but more specifically catizen where it got support from binance, pixelverse without binance listing already can go as high as $0.1 with FDV of $500 million for a game that's really good, though now price tanked after a while.

but I also on the other hand expect the FDV of catizen to be quite similar with pixelverse despite potential binance listing because as you know these gamefi retention of FDV and userbase over the course of the months are really bad  ;D.

Like Notcoin, Catizen aims to complement and enhance the TON and Telegram ecosystem.

Catizen has gathered investment from TON Foundation, Web3 Ventures, Mask Network, Y2Z, SecondLive, and EMURGO Ventures and recently BinanceLabs too invested.

The Catizen Telegram Channel, on the other hand has over 2 million subscribers.

CATI tokens serve as the main currency within the game, mined by players during gameplay.

This project does not require financial investment. Therefore, considering this and other factors, we view participation in this game as acceptable when approached and involves low risk.

However, as always we strongly recommend our readers to be cautious and DYOR.

I don't think so. Notcoin had a success and a pretty good drop allocation, however, even having big guys in investors doesn't mean the allocation will be as good in Catizen. Remember what market we are in at the moment, it's close to the bull run, however, there are many factors that can correlate the drop, as well as the founders themselves can just make people get only a portion of what they really deserve.

I think catizen, Dogs, hamster are few of the tg games on ton I think would do well. For catizen since the binance investment announcement and bitget pre market listing, it's been blowing up on my CT. I like the hype, let's hope it's sustainable..

I am happy that it works out for you, but I never thought that the listing or partnerships with the big guys like OKX, Binance, Bitget, etc. would mean that the project would pump all the way. I always put the Chain game for example - the same mechanics as a not, laggy mini app, and bad allocation, all while being listed on OKX, having some collabs here and there, and looking decent and worthy of the time put. The reality can be harsh sometimes, but I hope you will get your profit and use it well.

I am not impressed anymore. 2021 was much better where most of the games that were released have gained attention and popularity not until the bear market came and most of those P2E have been gone out of business. Although some of them are still existing right now but the majority of those games are no longer existing or if they're still there, they're almost dead.

To be honest, I am starting to have no more faith with the TON ecosystem. Because it feels that we're back in 2018 where the bear market has come and then most of the projects became stagnant and so as what we're experiencing right now. We're not yet stopping for this bull run but with this trend, I am starting to sense that it's not worth it to stay there so, if you're still waiting for some airdrops and tokens there, make sure to take your share asap.

I have been hearing about the project recently, so I decided to do some research, and I think catizen is not also a bad project. Not that I am recommending anyone invest their money there, but for people merging their cats, then it’s not really a bad idea, don’t give up, and something might come out of it, even if it’s not really like Notcoin, but the project is also promising. As we all know, some projects might be promising, but at the end, things might not really go well, so even for citizens, anyone who’s into them should be prepared for anything so that they won’t be disappointed if things go wrong.

Binance Labs have invested in this project after Catizen showed their collaboration with them. They were also able to make million of dollars in the in-app purchase of the game according to their official channel post on telegram. Recently, we also saw that the CEO of telegram have also said something about the project which to me is a good sign not to fade on this project. For many people to spend a lot of money just to merge cats and go higher in level, I feel there’s more to this project to be a rewarding one for all these that have spent on them. About them not having a lot of users as other P2E mini games on telegram, I think it’s this feature that requires you to buy somethings like auto bot in order to go far in level, those that can’t afford it at some point will give up and the few left will be the one to enjoy the big reward anticipated from the project. The project doesn’t look bad and also looks promising but one cannot tell whether it will do better than Notcoin or not.
