Title: How Can One Stay Updated With Crypto Events and Happening?
Post by: VicManton on July 30, 2024, 04:25:03 PM
I have been curious lately about how one can have a first-hand knowledge about good crypto events before they go viral and how to know what is being planned. I have heard about some after they have gone out for a while and I feel there is a way you guys go about it, just lucky enough to have heard of the 300,000 tokens airdrop ongoing and I want to know how to get those ICOs and IDOs before they announce their first listing to the public, please how do I effectively go about this?

For someone who's not into trading, will consistently checking the market update be necessary? You can just hope in once in a while to get the whole gist of it. I read crypto news from https://cointelegraph.com/
Or https://www.coindesk.com

I think you have mentioned ICOs and IDOs which are no longer a thing today, they're just examples in your mind. To check those projects that are coming to the market, usually they're very active in their socials and mostly on Twitter (X). Any medium of their community to converse with, they are there. Aside from those websites mentioned above, websites like CMC also have their community channels for people who are into this and those new projects are also there. If you want to get track of what might come, it's hard to figure out but you need to be researchful and check all of those sources from time to time.

To get early information about crypto events and upcoming ICOs or IDOs, regularly check platforms like CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and CryptoSlate for listings and news. Additionally, join crypto-focused Telegram groups, Discord channels, and follow influential figures on Twitter who often share insights on upcoming projects and airdrops.

Are you referring to the Bitget promotional event for the 300,000 hot tokens airdrop [this (https://www.bitget.com/events/activities/6ee22705d36252f1a7a1522750ea6f5b?color=black)] that will end in 12 days? If you are interested in these events announced by CEX platforms, you should definitely follow their official accounts and enable notifications to receive updates on every new event they launch. For general crypto events, you should subscribe to the newsletters of major crypto news websites or visit them regularly, as well as follow reputable influencers on social media and YouTube.

Always conduct your own research before trusting any event you come across, especially before dealing with any centralized platform.

Additionally, join crypto-focused Telegram groups, Discord channels <snip>
This is the best way to stay ahead of the market. By the time a project has gotten to CMC or to crypto news platform it usually means it is already viral or at least popular.
You need to join communities which are focused on what you're looking for.

My regular advice for anyone looking for airdrops is to stay vigilant and be security conscious.

The more you interact with tokens, the more risk you will fall in love with these tokens and most of them are scam projects or low-quality ones. You will lose money with them because you can start with airdrops but later will spend your money to invest in those low-quality tokens.

If you want to filter potential projects that will give you airdrops, follow these to get information on fund raising of many projects and do your research on their tokenomics.

Following European regulation on the matter, they may be a thing back again for projects from serious companies who comply with all the legal requirements. The rule is not in force yet, but it will be in a few months, so you may be right at the moment tabas, but I would keep an open mind, just in case :)
