Just use https://www.talkimg.com/, image hosting site made by one of bitcointalk members for one purpose only-uploading images here on the forum.

when i post i have noticed members using imgbb so i used it as well but it always comes out as invalid -snip-
I checked through your post history to see your replies containing images and all seem "valid" (uploaded) to me.

If you mean directly showing the images in your post, the link that you should copy is the direct link to your image with the extension (.jpg or .png / etc.)
In imgbb, you'll get the link by right-clicking the image and select "Copy image address" if your browser allows it, then insert it inside [img][/img] tag.

Alternatively, both imgbb and talkimg provide "BBCode" containing the image. (scroll mo sa baba)
You can directly copy and paste that to your post.

I noticed that he used talkimg for the image he posted on this forum in the past. I will encourage him to still use the same site. I have used imgbb before and also I have used talkimg and which is the present image uploading website that I am using. Talkimg is newbie friendly and the one that I will recommend.

It is supposed to work if you properly use the right image-uploading website and copy the full link BBcode on Imgur. Although back then, it used to give some problems that would make the images not display again after some time.

Now a forum member took his time to create one image uploading which we have been using, which is working perfectly. Talkimg (https://www.talkimg.com/); try it it will work for you.

Image uploading websites/ scripts for Bitcointalk users (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452693.0)

Talkimg.com is the most favorite site for forum users recent months, but if you need more options for image uploading, check my thread above.

A small note for you, don't abuse (overuse) images in your posts, if unnecessary, because it's annoying for readers.

Talkimg (https://www.talkimg.com/) it not even a matter of if this will work for him, this to me just work even more better and solved the previous problem we've being facing about proxy invalid image or improper display of images after some time it was been uploaded.
And this works much better than the previous one, with this I no longer experience image broken

After I checked your post, there was an error in including the link containing the image, as in this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5466729.msg63026220#msg63026220. Try using talkimg.com as suggested by Rikafip, you only need to visit the link. Upload the selected image, then a link will appear below the image that has been successfully uploaded, you only need to press the Copy button and paste it in the comment you want to post.

An example of a link listed below an image that has been successfully uploaded.
Code:
[img]https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/08/12/507vN.jpeg[/img]

-imgbb still working on this forum you can double check your image tag like [img] image link [/ img] or you can copy direct bbcode from imgbb website when you post image on there.

-imgur link not working on this forum for long time so just avoide this site to host any image for bitcointalk

-You can use www.talkimg.com which is better image hosting site still now and this site is very smooth. an interesting fact is that this site was created by a user of this forum named joker_josue. so it is specially designed for this forum.

This is probably some similar issue like we had with imgur, and I think imgbb introduced some limitation based on IP addresses.
Other members already suggested switching to talkimg.com as great alternative that is made by our bitcointalk forum member joker_josue.

No, this is not an issue associated with the hosting site but how the op made use of it. Imgur changed their specifications which rendered all images from users with no accounts invalid.
I don't think imgbb has put any limitations yet.

This is currently the best option available for privacy and efficiency (it perfectly serves the potential users on the forum)

You can Buy a copper membership (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote) then you can be able to post images that will be visible to other members of the forum and some other benefits that comes along with it though there can still be changes in the future but at the initial times you are likely to enjoy all of it's benefits even though you are still a newbie rank

https://www.talkimg.com/ This is the best way to upload images to bitcoin forums. You can easily upload images without any hassle. But when you faced the problem maybe the Op was brand new he had no way like a junior member maybe he couldn't see the pictures and uploading pictures from all the sites he mentioned uploading is quite difficult.

The Op is already a Jr. Member which is the minimum rank required to post images on the forum. That they need to do is correctly format their image link and include bbcodes to make it visible to other members.

Just as earlier suggested, www.talkimg.com is one of the best image hosting sites I have seen many people use for posting image on this forum, as its like maybe you are not doing it the right way, as the site is very easy to use, of which i have been using for other online community like the "blackhatworld dot com"

If you enter the search keyword in your browser image hosting, several sites that function the same will appear. However, there is one image hosting for uploading images to the forum that I recommend, namely TalkImg.com > https://talkimg.com/. One of the initiators is an active user of the bitcointalk forum.
Using talkimg.com image hosting is not complicated and the results are also very good.

Have you tried using talkimg?. If not then you should try using it and make sure that the link you pasted ends with .jpeg, .jpg and .png which is an image format. Did you also check the bbcode that you used?. If you want the image to be shown when you post is that you have to use the bbcode [img][/.img] (remove the dot) tag which will show the image. If you didn't use it then it won't show no matter how much you post the link. Since you are a jr. member rank so you should be able to post images.

If the forum admin can allow for newbies using talkingimg to post images without the regular restriction on newbies accounts, by so doing, it will solve alot of problems and make things easier for those in that rank, between I see that the ops have once used talkingimg in the past, and may be his curiosity arose when his image did not display unless if quoted by a higher rank forum members.

But since his rank is now junior member that the ops is a junior member, that sort out a lot of troubles for the ops.

One of the best and also we recommend to is the use with the talkimg which is convenient to use and automatically gives you the bbcode to upload an image, but of course sometimes we just use the portion of the  the whole image but its quite annoying with the viewers like its being scaled to large it caters most of our screen.

Code:
[img height=x width=x][/img]

You can use this kind of property to resize, the talkimg does not have the feature for a default size still it's a user modification.

I'd like to add (since I see this mistake from time to time) that it's enough to resize either the height or the width, not both. If you try to resize both, you'll most likely mess up the image's aspect ratio, causing it to become distorted.

Thanking you for pointing this out to us and I personally have been having some hard times trying to upto images especially with the issues of Imgur error and invalid prompts and I think I will have to bookmark that link as it’s a very good tool and I believe op already read your post and I hope he tries this out as well.

I first thought it was about your rank but forgot that the posting of image restrictions is only for newbies if I’m not wrong and I’m sure if you use any of those link, especially this very link, I’m sure you will figure it out.
Goodluck

I checked your posts containing pictures in your post history, and your images were correctly displayed for me. AFAIK Bitcointalk is using a proxy-cache for the images, so the pictures are not downloaded from Imgbb but from the cache when they are displayed. Sometimes the proxy undergoes some outages though. That's certainly what happened to you, but now everything works fine. So you don't need to change your host for your pictures, you can still use your Imgbb account here.
