How to Find New Meme Coins: Strategies and Insights from the Community

Hey everyone,

Okay so its always something new in the world of meme coins... Recently my peers, who are also interested in Altcoins had been discussing about how to discover the next big thing in this space. It’s fascinating to see how these coins can go from obscure to hugely popular and back to base one...literally almost overnight.

I’m curious about people's various strategies to identify promising new meme coins. Are there specific indicators or platforms that you rely on? I’ve heard discussions about leveraging social media trends, exploring new projects in presale phases, or keeping an eye on niche forums and communities. Heck I too have mentioned here and there that presales are good!!

Bit i would love to know how you all evaluate the potential of these coins beyond just their viral appeal. For instance, do you consider factors like the development team, project roadmap, or unique selling points? Or maybe like i asked in my other post about their promotion on CoinGecko?

Let’s share different approaches and insights on finding and evaluating best new meme coins. Whether you’ve had success with certain strategies or have come across any surprises, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Looking forward to your insights and experiences!  :D

I wouldn't go around looking for ideas to try to predict the next meme coin boom. I think if you want to try to find one, invest in several of these types, since they come out of nowhere and go to nothing quickly. The ideal is to always invest in solid projects that have something behind them.

True. There are more random in memecoins than anything else, trying to predict something is even more pointless than with all other markets.

Thanks for acknowledging but my question still remains... Even if i... say shortlist some coins.. do i entirely depend on the graphs, or should i explore what others have to say? or hunt for experiences?? It's just that the unpredictability of meme coins makes all the research so overwhelming coz you never know what will happen in the next hour!

Still If asked what will your choice be?

But aren't they at all worth exploring? People do post about the positives that they see in meme coins and how they can still be worth considering as part of a broader investment strategy.
I've also heard that meme coins often benefit from strong, enthusiastic communities that can drive their popularity. This community support can be a powerful force, sometimes turning seemingly obscure coins into major players in the market. Engaging with communities and following trends can provide insights into how to find meme coins early and potentially capitalize on their growth.

All can't be scam? yea?  :o

It is very hard to find or predict a future successful coin, especially meme coins which they are more unpredictable, not taken seriously for most of the time, their project runs for short period of time only, risky for significant investments. Taking some of many different reasons why most Meme Coins are not going to be long term nor successful coins, it is hard to predict which ones are going to create a good impact in the future.
Probably, it is good to find a coin with a known team that had success before and participated in creating something positive in crypto space. Moreover, the community of any coin should be strong and active enough to support new investors, clear road map and respecting their schedules.

Personally, I find it hard to trust on any Meme coin or project, giving it more value than being a game or a risky investment may lead to unwanted losses.

That's exactly the problem. They are meme coins and there's no point in researching something, because the purpose of the coin is precisely to have no purpose, no idea behind it. It's purely user hype. So don't look for lucidity in insanity because you'll never find anything. Look for projects with good ideas and solidity.

Everyone knows that investing in solid projects is the safest way to invest in altcoins, but this has absolutely nothing to do with @OP's question, especially if it has to suggest spreading money across multiple tokens of the type that @OP is referring to. We have special analysis in looking for potential new meme coins, for example looking at them on various platforms that provide information about these tokens, then seeing whether these tokens are being hyped on social media. One way I do this is to check on Dex Screener (https://dexscreener.com/).

I think I will behave the same as you, why look for detailed meme information, let alone make speculations about whether this will explode or not, it's better for me to pay attention to old coins that still have potential to invest

Maybe your only basis to look at or look for meme coins that have the potential to make a profit in the future is coinmarketcap, Coingecko, or crypto.com. You will find the top meme coins on these platforms.

Do not buy anything that is not included in the list of meme coins that are in the top market. This is if you really decided to invest in the top meme coins.

Yeah this is key. You are very unlikely to be lucky enough to find the next memecoin that does a 1000000 x run. It’s just close to impossible as there are so many. Devise a plan where you research a handful or even a dozen good projects & allocate a small amount of money to invest in each one. With some luck you might strike gold but don’t invest too much. You should have most of your capital in more guaranteed plays.

They basically asked what to do to research meme coins and get rich with them and I replied that he doesn't need to do that because it's a waste of time. He can even do that, but he will have little chance of earning anything. The ideal is to diversify and contribute as little as possible to this idea since he won't want to opt for solid projects.

I don't see any good thing to explore the meme coins because you're only wasting your time, why you not just buy many of meme coins with small amount of money, so if you hit the jackpot, it already make you recover all the losses from other coins, so you're only need to wait for few coins to rise in order to earn profit.

Trend/hype is the most important thing, now it seems meme is not hype, either a chance to go big or go home.

It could be worth exploring as you have said, but there are two sets of investors here,

a. those who invest on solid coins and stay away from meme coins because of the risk
b. those investors who are willing to take a big risk to invest on them

And with that, I think those who are answering here are mostly on the first category. Maybe they have been in the market too long enough to understand that meme coin is a big risk and they could have experience a huge lost.

My only advise is just be careful about those meme coins, it's just like gambling and you really don't know how it will end, as you might take a big lost, just saying.

So best of luck hunting them.

I really don't think you can be able to accurately tell when a meme coin will be pumped or when it would be dumped. I believe the best you can do is to understand how these pump and dump coins work so you can be able to Identify them and also speculate their plans like their pump periods and dump periods too. The fact is coins that are successfully pumped and also dumped successfully are done mainly when the funds of investors are in the market.
The creators of these pump and dump schemes and coins don't go through the pump periods alone they use the funds of other investors to pump the price of the coin most of the time making some of them wanting to hodl more thinking that the coins is still in the pump period and then boom the token or coin crashes liquidating the the investors.

TBH -- memes coins are the most volatile class even if they're legit.
DYOR in meme coins is mostly on the team behind it. A team with a solid perspective is more than enough to go for it.
Like previously Base Dawgz caught me while looking for short-term investing. ( as not everyone plans on hodl )
For p2e, I'd go fo rMega Dice Token ( tried & tested ) again do your DYOR.

Still, I can't e,emphasize enough that all of us has our own parameters to go for, either it's meme coin or altcoin.
Some prefer presales & some consider presales a scam. So no hard n fast rule.

This is ideal if you still want to invest in this type of currency. Diversify between projects with potential within meme coins. I think it is very unlikely to succeed, but if you try with a lower value it is worth trying! Good luck.
