I am offering interest-free, uncollateralized small loans of $50 USDT for a short period (maximum 1 week) to reputable members of this esteemed forum.

Rules:

1. Only SR members and above are eligible to apply.
2. Applicants must have received at least 30 merits in the last 120 days.
3. Borrowers are responsible for all transaction fees.
4. Currently, only 10 loan slots are available at a time, so there may be a waiting period.
5. My decision regarding eligibility is final, though I welcome input from others.
6. I will provide a repayment address. Do not repay without receiving this address.
7. If you require an extension, a monthly interest rate of 1% will apply if I approve your extension. Please understand that while I am not comfortable charging interest for this service, it is necessary to ensure timely
    repayments and maintain availability for other eligible members.
8. Negative trust receivers are not eligible.
9. I will not respond to any personal message regarding loan or eligibility. If you still message me you will never get loan from me irrespective of your eligibility.

This is good, but among the rules, you should include include red trust members if you Disqualified them, and also no such thing as account participation in active signatures campaign as means of showing the accounts are active here in the forum, I think those two rules will help you in the repayment a d recovery of the loan.

Between thanks for willing to give out no interest /colatral loans to forum members, but consider the suggestions are pointed out above.

Lots of high ranking accounts have been defaulting loans lately and getting their reputation ruined for amounts you can not even imagine. Just check the scam accusation board and the major reason could be due to the drop in the signature campaign in the forum.

Participation in the signature campaign can be a helpful condition for someone trying to acquire the loan in the short run.

This has been on my mind for a long time because I joined this forum due to a $0.14 loan given to me by a member of this amazing community. I realized there might be circumstances where people need instant, short-term crypto loans but don't want to bother family and close friends (for various reasons). So, I started this service as a gesture to give back to the community.

Signature campaign participants have an income, thus may be perceived as more secure than someone without that income. Also, they would hit the activity requirements of the signature campaign, so it is likely that they are also actively contributing to the forum.

This as a strict rule however, might deter legitimate borrowers. While OP isn't in this for profit, that might mean more for someone who is.

Good idea, but you should be very wary of their trust status. Legendary or newbie is the same when it comes to scamming. Some of the oldest members of the forum are not above scamming someone for even small amounts.

On the one hand, I want to congratulate you, but on the other hand, I'd hate to see you get scammed by something that you have zero profit from. I would advise exercising caution from both sides before dealing. Excuse me if I come off as too judgemental and suspicious, but I've seen quite a few incidents during my time on the forum, and that included trust harvesting through no-collateral loans in order to exit scam later on.

Anyways, I'm not saying that you're going to do it; you sound like a good fella. Good luck on what you do; be cautious though; it would suck to lose money while offering a nice gesture.

May I ask what you urgently needed a $0.14 loan for?

Probably to cover some usdt sending fees I guess. Nothing else would make sense.

I need guidance from respected community members. As you know, I gave a $104 loan to @Obari, going beyond my lending limits, and that too for one month (going against another rule of mine of a maximum 1-week term).
Now he wants an extension of 15 more days. If I grant him the extension, he will have to pay $178 in total as per my rules. Since I have made this thread for the community, I am expecting some guidance from experienced members here on how to approach this. I do not want that much interest, but there has to be some sort of balancing act as I want it to be fair for future borrowers without any discrimination and with full transparency. Please guide me.
I don't want to publicly post someone's PMs to me, but since I already decided that I will not entertain any loan-related PMs (you have to post here), I thought it would be fair to discuss the matter publicly.

Unfortunately when you're lending without receiving any form of collateral(s) in return, you're bearing 100% of the risk. Not all extensions lead to scams due to unforeseen circumstances but anyone can simply use them to buy time.

All you can do now is to keep your fingers crossed and hope he'd stick to his word.

There have been cases of senior members or even Legendaries scamming, even when they're in a signature campaign.

Hey Obari. If you have to take out $20 loans you are doing something wrong, very wrong. If it was a one time thing I could understand it since you live in Nigeria, have recently become a father and may have had a health issue. But you have been borrowing for a long time. That at this point you have to ask for $20 when you have been involved in signature campaigns for a long time is due to poor planning, poor management of your personal finances. Learn the basics: to foresee income and expenses, to set up an emergency fund so you don't have to take out these loans. If $20 is important for your economy, having to pay $1 in a short period of time in interest is going to screw your economy even more. I don't even want to calculate the APR because in percentage terms it's crazy.

I say this because many people are addicted to credit, as seems to be your case, and a simple change of mindset and with a little effort over a short period of time, usually a month, you can turn the tables and stop borrowing.
