Can we have a merit exchange thread? Where a certain amount of further rank up will exchange merit between two aid candidates. Although we do have a help thread for the next rank up, sometimes it's not possible to get a helper there. You can easily rank up by helping each other through the exchange system, no need for a 3rd party. Anyone trying to cheat will be penalized by moderator or DT. In this case the help of Moderator/DT will be required.

There will be some rules-
1. Both the exchange candidates should be merit candidates.
2. Equal number of merits should be exchanged.
3. After the 1st person gives merit, the 2nd person will have 24 hours to pay the dues to the 1st person.
4. 3rd party cannot make any merit transaction and cannot post any kind.

Determination of Merit –
1. Full members = 10 merits (90-100)
2.Sr. members= 15 merits (235-250)
3. Hero members = 20 merits (480-500)
4. Legendary members = 25 merits (975-1000)

This is just a presentation to you. This post is for taking the opinion of the experienced people of the forum. Please give your feedback and definitely let me know if there are any mistakes. I hope no one will comment negatively.

Just expect something like that coming your way. Your thread or idea is trash and should be deleted or something. I have a question, is this idea for your own benefits or for the benefits of your alts which you will be growing?

It's obvious why you created this thread. You did it because you are currently finding it difficult to rank up to full member.

Merit exchange will give you -ve tag as far as i know, this is usually a reason for alts to get merits. Merit should be given to those deserving not just because of "aid" or "help". Let the help thread like [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank... (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5445913.0), and other thread like [CHALLENGE] Run A Bitcoin Node: 14 Days To 14 Merits (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5480200.msg64435860#new) that needs tasks for get merit to do its purposes.

It must be deleted if it is not acceptable.

Why exchange merit? If you can earn them from helping someone here on the forum or by making a constructive and helpful post?

You just defeat the purpose of the Merit system if we are going to trade sMerit because it's obvious it can be use for cheating.

This is against the forum rules and you should in no way indulge in it. Merits should be earned honorably as a result of your active contribution to the forum activities. I would tell you for free that you should not abuse your smerrits by engaging in any sort of barter trade for merits, else you get your account tagged negatively by the sherifs, keep learning and growing honorably in the forum and you would surely attain you desired heights.

exactly and if someone wants to aid or help someone to rank up they should do it of their own volition without expecting anything back. also, what OP suggesting could be abused to get accounts into higher ranks easily.

anyway, as others have mentioned the suggestion is unnecessary.
