Source have bugs no chance to compile it. On what linux system you have compiled it as errors are related to source code to be exact test source code. Make it working then say to peoples to compile it.

Run the node (repnetd) until it is updated (will take an hour or two) - then you can run the miner - difficulty is low right now, so you should start getting coins right away.

What is the mining command? How to operate it?

You can unzip and run the miner without any arguments - it'll mine to your node's wallet.

You can also mine to your web wallet - you'll need the legacy address from the wallet page -

After starting the node program, there is no prompt. Is it updating? Is it stuck? How do I know if the update is complete? All of this has no hint

I just tested it and posted a question post there, which cost me nearly 20 R3P coins. This is the coin I obtained after mining for a day. Why did I consume so many coins? A few things are emerging for early miners - notes and recommendations

1. Start the node with
 repnetd -printtoconsole

This will give more information about what the node is doing.

2. Don't start mining until your node is synced.

Keep an eye on the console, when it stops reporting new blocks coming in quickly, it is synced.

3. Use separate accounts for mining and posting.

There is a bug in RepNet.Site whereby it is trying to spend immature coins (freshly mined coins take 20 blocks to mature).

4. --cpus= option doesn't work in the miner yet

Use multiple processes to use multiple cpus for now.

5. Linux binaries may need additional files to run correctly - expect new binaries soon.

So I don't know much about hiveos - although I'm sure it'll have a unzip utility you can use to access the binaries.

I'm planning to release some new ones soon that address some of the issues that came up since the binaries were first launched.

Ok. New Release that should fix some issues.

Main issue - should be much more stable.

1. When trying to mine against the node, it won't crash if it is not fully up to date, it will wait.
2. Linux binaries should be more portable now and not require any additional files.

even with open port, sometimes peer are lost and drop to 1-2 and then chain fork.... later it reorg alone and revert to sync with many lost block

Sorry, missed your message. I think maybe the rpcbind and rpcconnect can be a bit delicate. try removing those and running the processes on the same machine. Also the address for the miner should be your legacy address (found on your wallet page) - I don't think the repnet one works here.

Yes, you should be able to run one node and point multiple miners at it. But do it all on one first to ensure it works for you, then you'll know if you run into any problems, it's some network/network security issue.
