 FREEROLL INFO
The freeroll will occur on Sunday September 8th at 6pm UTC on pokernow (https://www.pokernow.club/). The prize pool will be determined depending on the number of participants. For every 5 eligible participants $100 will be added to the pool with a max of $2000. The payouts will also be determined based on the number of participants. Minimum 5 spots will be paid out. Prizes will be paid in freebets on DGBet. Qualified users will be given access to a discord room where all freeroll info will be available.

 Minimum odd to use the winning Freebets: 1.0
 Freebet can be given in a form of $10, $20, $25, $50 or $100 etc.

I don't think the prize pool will be more than $200 in bonus money (that you won't be able to withdraw).


If the rules were updated like these, I would think twice

1. The prize pool was in real money.
2. The prize pool was formed based on the total amount of funds bet and not the number of participants.

I don't really feel that is a fair assessment saying that you won't end up being able to wd. If the team was to do that to users I would paint them red so fast and they'd be done here.

I will find out for sure, but pretty sure you just gotta wager your freebet money 1x. I will clarify that and post here as soon as I have an answer.

My understanding is you place a $10 bet, win or lose, you are eligible to get into the poker game. Prizes are in freebets and you wager the freebets and should be able to wd any winnings.

Might have misunderstood your point here as you are correct in saying a user cannot cashout the freebet, they will have to wager it and the site does take the freebet $$$ off the top of a win. My bad on misunderstanding how a "freebet" worked.

I am also not really a fan of the system.
First of all I don't want to make an account at a new site and being "forced" to make a deposit and bet. I know nobody forces me but the system is kind of off. Also that the winning is just free bets which you also need to wager at least on 2.0 odds to receive the full price is also not very enticing. I mean you could bet your price on like 1.4 or something but then you would, if you win, only get 40% of your price money. Free bets always only pay the win amount, not the initial wager.

You are correct in your assessment it seems. This is what I was told regarding "freebets"


So while a user would have to wager 2.0 odds to get the full amount, they could still make an easy profit by risking 1 $10 wager, which if it wins can be cashed out. So Essentially getting a shot for free money for a super small risk.

The tourney is just a feeler as well. Tweaks can and will be made if a series is ran, so IMO it's not a bad deal for anyone honestly. You guys are obviously free to have your opinions, I guess I just don't really see the bad side.

I think this way from this thread we can only get the bet information and wallet information so that we can maintain a discipline. I will response some of the comments on that thread shortly. Please let's keep this thread clean.

Is my Poker Now name also my DGbet name? It says "anonymous" when I connect my wallet with DGbet.

We need to identify that the user is from Bitcointalk on the poker table. Whatever you do, as long as it is enough for us to identity then we are good.

Also I would like to know how do you feel about it to have a regular poker event to receive FREE bets or may be have a cash reward?

Personally I think it was a nice experience. Once a week, we can have these kind of tables between each others. It obviously is going to create a fun loving community spending quality time with each others for a few hours each week.
