What is the point of this excessive time frame? ~4hrs ?

Lastly, it encourages miners to stick around and support the network, rather than just mining and selling off quickly. This helps maintain a more stable coin value in the long run.

So while it might feel like a long wait, it’s really about making sure everything runs smoothly and securely as the coin gets off the ground.
